مطعم سومو القرهود السوشي ولا غلطه لذيذ والموظفين خدمة جميله من المطاعم التي ينصح بها وبزيارتها مرار لانه متميز بالاكل الرائع انصح بزيارته لكن عندي بعض النصايح للادارة والملاحظات متى سوف يتم تغيير الديكور الممل تتميز الكراسي بتهالكها من كثر استخدامها ولا زالو يستخدمونها دون اللجوء الى تغييرها ا وغير مريحه وظاءما لديهم مشكلة المكيف الغير مبرد ومشكلوة المواقف الغير متوفره دايما بالمختصر اكل راءع خدمة جيده ديكور ممل ومتهالك خاصة الكراسي مواقف متعبه

We went here last Saturday for a double dinner date. The place was quite pleasant and cozy. The food was deliciously great and freshly serve. The staff is also good specially Miguel who assisted us while we are there. Sushi is superb, specially the Gyoza Ramen and black pepper seafood. Will visit again here soon. I recommended this restaurant for everyone. #tripadvisor

today afternoon I went to have lunch...I had for started gyoza (average) and main course the tiger sushi and the Phoenix sushi...my appetizer arrived and after 2 min my sushi!! the gyoza like I said before was just fine (the sauce was disgusting) the sushi horrible and I feel that I want to vomit!!! it was my 3rd time in your restaurant and I'll never go back!!! I don't recommend this restaurant to anybody. good day

Horrible experience! I found a cockroach on the table and the waiter came with some envious cool nerves, stepped on it a left�without even an apology or shock. I am never recommending the place to anyone,very disappointed

Worst experience and sushi. Not worth it. Used to be a loyal customer until I called to complain about the wrong order, they argued saying I was wrong, were extremely rude, requested I return the wrong roll and still charged me once they gave me the right order...a difference of 20AED...Worst customer service experience suffered in Dubai. Food quality went way down in the past few months. Try sushi art for a better experience and better sushi...

55 minutes and my order is still under preparation?! its just sushi and a poke bowl. literaly no cooking involved! i specifically requested for my food to be delivered within 1 hour. today being a thursday is not a excused. seriously up your delivery. garhoud branch is always so unpreppared and slow during weekends especially thursdays!

Order took more than 90 minutes to arrive when I was told 30.Theres no traffic and the roads are empty.On calling back the operator denies providing the wrong information and says she will call back,to which of-course she doesn't..Really Sad that such a good restaurant serving delicious food..is way below average when it comes to customer service... ���

Horrible customer service, ordered a choice and received a different one, when i mentioned to the waitress she said its ur fault, when i spoke with the manager she gave me all the attitude in the world then said ok ill change it for you, could not be worse!! We are not dining for free, never again

This places severs delicious sushi and they have a huge variety to choose from. Along with that their menu is vast and there’s someone for everyone. I like their rock and roll shrimps and Japanese chicken katsu curry. Excellent service, good food and timely service makes is a good choice.

I was here last evening for early dinner and enjoyed my meal. Started with Spicy Edamame and a portion of Kunafa spun prawns. Both of these were fresh and tasted really good. <br/><br/>From the Maki rolls we called for a California and one Crispy Cream. The California is my all time favorite however I tried the Crispy cream for the fist time and realized I prefer my rolls when they aren't fried. <br/><br/>

The portions are so good and the taste are superb . They serve fast as well! We get to use are kenji point which gave us a free sushi rolls! Their bento sets are also worth it! Its big and can even be shared for two people. The platter we ordered had 30pcs which can be shared for 4-5people.

We dine in last night at Sumo Garhoud around 7pm and requested the lady to take away the left over food..<br/>Unfornately the container that she used for the take away was the plate that used for eating. Attached photo was my left over rice.<br/>I know everyone wanted to do cost cutting but please not on this way. Do not re-used the plate, take away has to be placed in a new container.

Great quality and good prices. I regularly order sushi from this place. They don’t skimp on the fish :) like other places do. Delivery is also quick and efficient. When you ask for extra wasabi they always put it in your order.

Delivery location was 2 kms away, oder was accepted and then cancelled 15 mins thereafter ....I never check once a restaurant accepts and never realised that food wouldn't be coming. They didnt put any reason and they didn't call me even...that's least they should do. <br/>

Been to sumo sushi so many times with my family. It's near to my home. I like the ambience and also friendly staff. I just love their miso soup. The sushi specially the crunchy crazy is awesome. Every Sunday they have free kids meal also. Am a big fan of the Suji power bowl. Also my kids love the Bento. Overall I had great dining experience. Highly recommend to people who love Japanese food.

We are a big fan of sumo sushi but there online delivery is a joke and this isn't my first experience with them but at least the 4th or the 5th... They always have their zomato order delivery option open and shows around 50 mins but when you order and wait for delivery it is completely an annoying experience. They either call you and say the delivery would take 3 hours or cancel it saying they do not have a delivery staff... Tried and tested and SUPER ANNOYED... Also this is not one experience that am sharing but a few back to back ones... Just now I ordered for aed 212 and they have canceled it so basically no food and wait for a week to get the money back.. UNPROFESSIONAL and beyond disappointing

Great job! Sumo Garhoud for the action. and Really your the best branch since before your preparation of food was more than what we've expect. Applause for the Staffs they are very accommodating. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the supervisor Mr. Romeo is very accommodating and we are comfortable talking very gentle,, love the food, the place and the worker.

I opted for Nigiri maki bento box for dinner..it was worth the value for money with its variety of options.tuna and salmon nigiri was the best of all...tried the miso soup which was decent for the pricing...but a little disappointed with rock and roll shrimp for the quantity and pricing.<br/>Overall decent restaurant...good staff etiquette..will definitely visit again n wud recomend this place for Sushi lovers

We were given each to redeem by simply registering on their app, which, by the way, offers so many perks and goodies! You should definitely download it. <br/><br/>For drinks, we ordered the Burj 7. It’s mixed with cucumber, apple, kiwi, and strawberry, with hints of orange, lemon, lime and mint. This fusion truly creates a burst of flavors as big as the Burj Khalifa! While it was a bit sour, we’ve managed to request for some liquified sugar to help sweeten the drink.<br/><br/>On my second visit, I brought the hubby at their Al Gahroud branch nearest GGICO metro (it’s around a 5-7 minute walk). He also redeemed his free sushi, as he registered on the app. We were celebrating a milestone at the time, so we ordered a few new dishes to try. He ordered the Japanese curry with vegetables, which was packed with flavors (wish I ordered a separate plate of this!). <br/><br/>I ordered the Princess Roll (I think?), which was oh-so very good! We couldn’t help but say good things about it because it was that flavorsome. Ugh, I drool at the thought of it!<br/><br/>Of course, we downed our food with flavored iced tea drinks, which were also good and refreshing. It tasted legit. 🤗

Sumo sushi & Bento... I love this place and it's not for the sushi.<br/>This place is what introduced me to the "Japanese Katsu Curry". Oh boy I have had that meal at least 30 times let me tell you. Absolutely amazing and we had a few laughs with the staff back in the Silicon oasis branch.<br/> <br/>Definitely would recommend and if you dont fancy sushi a lot and your sushi loving friends drag you here, then give the Katsu curry a try.

Been to quite a number of Japanese restaurants but will keep on coming back to Sumo because of their undeniably unique and sumptuous taste. California roll and the crab stick salad are my default favourites. You'll never go wrong with these two.

In the mood for sushi tried out this restaurant, had eaten sushis in tons of fine dining restaurant, but this place is something else, it has nice seating areas, you have the traditional table chair and then you have the authentic sitting on the ground mockup experience to make u feel straight out of Japan.<br/><br/>They have tons of sushi options here we had the salmon and tofu sushi and they were sort of spectacular taste, if you love sea food esp sushi this is the go to restaurant period.<br/><br/>The fact there were Japanese tourists enjoying their meal means there it has to be good, altough pricing can be slightly on the higher side but for a tru food lover it's worth your time and money.<br/><br/>Do try em out for the love of good sushis !

I am a loyal foodie for sumo for the last 12 yrs especially this branch. Whether it is for delivery or dine in,i always specify this branch.<br/><br/>-they have one of the sweetest, yet affordable, salmon sashimi in the market.<br/>- you never leave unsatisfied with their food servings except that i notice that the portion size of a full order of their cucumber crabstick salad has slowly reduced since 2017.<br/>- the fresh juices they offer are amazing but it would be nice if they slush the whole veggies and fruits to sippable size<br/>- they have revamped their menu and now cater for the keto or low carb dieters.<br/>-their customer service is high for any complaint you may have, they literally take quick actions.<br/><br/>The place is spacious and clean but really need some updating with their interior design.<br/><br/>Parking is a little difficult here when there is an event in the stadium.

I used to visit Sumo branch in Town Centre often and always liked the food and service, but unfortunately the same cannot be said about their delivery services. It is absolutely terrible. Every single time i tried to place an order via their app and have some food delivered to my home in Nad Al Hamar 3 different times and each time i get a call from Sumo explaining to me that due to shortage of drivers the order would take 2 hours to arrive! That is ridiculous to ask me to wait to have my dinner till around 12am. Sumo you better improve your delivery services in any way to shorten your delivery time because you are seriously losing way to many customers due to this.<br/>You definitely have lost me as a customer.

I placed my order through Zomato at 6:20pm. i called Sumo hotline at around 7:25 pm as my order has still not arrived. They said that the Garhoud branch has not received my order, but i told them that i have a confirmation number.  The first agent i spoke to has no customer service at all, she said she would call the branch to find out about the issue. A few minutes have passed, another agent called me confirmed they had a system glitch that is why the Garhoud branch did not received our order.  She said she will call me back to confirm how many minutes it would take to deliver our food.  10 minutes have passed, no one has called back so I decided to call the hotline again. the third agent spoke to said, he will call the branch to check the status, (again), Then the second agent i spoke to then gave a callback and said it would take 20-30 minutes to deliver the food in Muraqqabat, Deira.  Since it would take at least 7 days to get my money back if i cancel my order,  decided to go ahead with it. Finally, the delivery arrive after 30 minutes, 8:30 pm to be exact, 2 hours after i placed my order!<br/><br/>With all the inconvenience the branch has caused, they could have at least given a complimentary dish or soup, or whatever. NOTHING, <br/><br/>Will i place an order again with Sumo? Not in the near future, although the food is good, not worth the hassle.

By far, my 3rd choice for go-to Japanese food. A bit affordable compared to Bentoya. 3rd rate for yumminess compared to my Top 2s. So far, happy customer here. :)

Crunchy Crazy sushi is to die for! So addictive! Good sushi and great ambience. Customer service was fair. Maybe they can use better exhaust system as the smell from the kitchen is very strong. Have no complains about the food though. Would still come back.

Was craving some sushi and decided to try out Sumo's Garhoud branch.<br/><br/>They have an exquisite ambience and an amazing dining atmosphere. My sole criticism towards the place is their slow service. The server's weren't as responsive and didn't posses a friendly attitude and that's the only reason I didn't give the place a solid 5 stars.<br/><br/>Now coming to the food, we ordered a Sumo Sushi Tray which consisted of 36 pieces of various sushi. I liked all the sushi except their Banzai sushi. Their Spicy Tuna and BBQ Beef were their stand out sushi from the lot.<br/><br/>We were even informed that if we download their app we could avail an offer which would give us a complimentary platter or sushi. So we used two of our codes and got 2 platters of Crunchy Crazy sushi. The Crunchy Crazy was really nice.<br/><br/>All in all my experience was really nice. Sumo has amazing sushi and ambience and is definitely a must try for all sushi lovers!

I ordered 12:30pm so the food would come by 1:30 pm just in time for lunch break, the current time is 2:15 pm, and i decided to drop this review.<br/>If they were busy due to lunch rush, they should tell, but when i call they only say that the food is on its way.<br/>Please adjust your estimated delivery times.

We ordered food from this place through ubereats. The packaging was amazing and food was delivered on time. However I didn't like the food much as it was sticky fried rice with boiled chicken and shrimps.. didn't like it so much.

Horrible service!!!!!!! Their delivery guys have no idea where to deliver. They spent 30 minutes trying to deliver the food and still not here!! Very bad service and im extremely disappointed!! Make sure to train your delivery service as this impacts your overall service and quality.

We have been craving Sushi and we happen to pass by Sumo Sushi. This is a small place hidden. They serve the best Bento and their sushi are amazing. <br/><br/>If you download their app you get free food by the way.

This is literally my favorite restaurant in Dubai, which I visit every couple of months: each time I go there. I like the fact that their sushi menu has some bizarre choices that are extremely delicious. This is one of the best restaurants in Dubai, one of which should be destination for all visitors.

Its been a couple of years since I have visited the garhoud branch and I am sad to say things have changed drastically. The good thing is the other branches seem to still be decent. We arrived for a late lunch and ordered the miso soup which arrived 10 minutes later and then a 30 minute wait for the salmon sashimi with no word from the staff about the reason for the huge delay. The whole reason we decided to have sushi is due to the fact that the food arrives quite quickly and all at the same time which is how it should be when it comes to sushi. The dishes continued to arrive with delays of 5 minutes in between after having a delay of 30 minutes between the miso soup and salmon sashimi (which is literally cold cuts of salmon and should not take that long)<br/>Not to mention the salmon had a small hair looked like that from an eyebrow underneath it but we decided to not to say anything as we wanted a quick lunch. The final straw was the last dish which was the picasso (the monthly special) arriving looking nothing like it did in the picture and missing ingredients including the fish eggs and the contents consisting of tiny pieces of fish and huge pieces of vegetables. We sent it back and was approached by one of the staff asking what we wanted instead and we declined saying we have to leave and she tried to insist we have it as take away instead seemingly trying to avoid us paying nothing for the dish. We declined again and she apologised saying that it was because "we only have 2 sushi chefs". The statement "how is that our problem" echoed in my mind but again I decided to not say anything because we just wanted a quick good meal which was beginning to turn into the complete opposite. Mind you the place was completely empty aside from us and one other table to her excuse did not even make sense. Considering the price of the meals you would expect somewhat of a decent service recovery but all we were told was "next time it will be better". Not to mention while we were at our table a staff member arrived in uniform with a laptop and loads of paperwork and sat on the table next to us doing paper work. I was beginning to feel that the price tag of the menu depicts nothing of the service etiquette in the restaurant because no decent restaurant would allow a staff member to sit at a table in the restaurant amongst customers to do paperwork. Charging that much for that quality of food and service should not happen. The reassurance we received of "next time it will be better" is not good enough im afraid because there definitely will not be a next time. It is not worth it. There are a number of sushi restaurants that I would gladly pay more for knowing that I am going to get good food and especially GOOD SERVICE and not come out smelling like a frying pan on top of having such a bad experience. I am a very realistic person and if you want my honest advice I would skip this one friends. Its just not worth the hassle and the complete ruin of your mood.<br/>

I enjoy trying out their monthly sushi roll specials. They come up with innovative rolls. However, my go to order from their main menu will always be the samurai roll. The prices here have went up drastically. Before you would be able to buy 2 types of sushi at around 60 dirhams. Now one type of sushi would cost approx 50 dirhams. Its disappointing because i had to cut out my favorite appetizer, the shrimp gyoza, bcuz the price went up on that dumpling as well.

I have always been a fan of SUMO. We have been dining in their Dubai Health Care city branch and the staff there are nice and the food are superb. But today I have tried their delivery service and it is disappointing. I ordered in their Garhoud branch (near my work place) via zomato at 11:53 but my order came in 13:46, when it's supposed to get delivered at 12:40ish. When i called up to their customer service (8007866) the guy I have spoken with seemed more annoyed than I'm supposed to. I love SUMO and their food but for this incident I'm giving sumo a 2.

It was one of my favorite places to have sushi, but now sorry! This time, it didnt meet my expectation! Didnt feel any special taste, i just felt that i had only rice and spicy one too! There was no special taste of the avocado, salmon, caviar, or any other thing, especially the moshi which were 100% tasteless! So upset really and i put 3 just because the food was clean, the place has really bas smell; fried oil! Thanks anyways

Decent food but worst service delivery in the history of mankind. They claim to deliver in 40-45 mins, delivery doesn’t arrive till 90 mins later. When you follow up over the phone, branch and call center blame each other. Best part, person from the call center doesn’t apologize and instead wastes your time coming up with excuses for doing his actual job, conveniently blame delivery staff, when I know in reality it’s rarely the delivery guys fault. Sumo sushi takes my money and my energy... but fails to improve customer service for delivery and follow up. If you want to have sushi from here, I’d recommend you visit the restaurant and not waste your time and money on a home delivery!

The service was excellent, very friendly and polite. It’s was my 2nd time here, you can never go wrong with there sushi one of the best. But the fry food (especially calamari) need a little bit improvement I don’t know if with the breading or the oil that they used. But over all is great.. definitely will come back.

Our all time fave is Samurai. It has a blend of different flavors that explodes in the mouth. We also go back for their Soy based Chicken Ramen that has an authentic taste. Have you sampled the Crab Stick salad, it is a must-try! We checked out their monthly special Slammin Salmon & it did not disappoint. I decided to order something new & went for Chicken Katsu in Curry Sauce however I did not enjoy it that much. If you download their app you get a free Rock n Roll Shrimp right there & then. My friends & I vowed to go there at least once a month.

This was the first place I ever had Sushi like 10 years ago, haven’t had better since<br/><br/>I love the Maki rolls and Miso Ramen (spicy) soup here.<br/><br/>They have a variety of maki rolls, my favorite is the crunchy crazy (tempura fried prawns wrapped with sea weed and rice, drizzled with some thai chili sauce) and Samurai Roll. These are not your typical Japanese sushi ingredients coming together but works so well with the multi-cultural feel of Dubai.<br/><br/>Their Bento and Sashimi (raw sea food) is also pretty good but I’m not a big lover of raw food so would usually pass.<br/><br/>And their new item on the menu Rock N Roll prawns is let down, if you are going to expect anything like dynamite shrimps. These are more like sweet and sour shrimps don’t get fooled by the picture .. it’s a NO! NO!<br/><br/>Please do start your meal with their spicy Edamame and from then the wasabi will take over .<br/><br/>Cheers!

You can never go wrong with the Samurai Roll and crunchy crazy sushi rolls. <br/>Not a bad place for a reasonably priced variety of sushi, the service is efficient always.

Great place for Sushi lovers! I am yet to find a better cucumber & crab stick salad, because theirs is the best in town. I've tried their California, Tiger and Crunchy Crazy rolls. As always and expected they serve fresh and deliciously good quality of sushi’s. Same with the other branch their top priority is the freshness and quality of their product. This is the nearest branch from our place so we will surely come back for more here 🤤.

I love it ❤❤<br/>We ordered the cucumber and crab salad and salmon sashimi as appetizers.. so delicious so fresh 😋😋<br/>Then my husband order the chicken katsu 😍 juicy and tasty.<br/>I ordered the samurai rolls, spicy salmon, crispy california, philly something i don't remember the name.. all was amazingly tasty and fresh.. i re-ordered the samurai because i fell in love with it 😋😋😋<br/>We also got a free dinamite shrimp because i had the app and i ordered before through it.. next time i can have a free item with the points i got from today's visit 😊😊 yupeeeeee.

I would give this place an overall rating of 3.5<br/>The sushi options we tried were:<br/>Sushi sandwich: 3/5 Way too dry.<br/>Wasabi fire shrimps: was expecting it to be fiery but had corn in it for some reason<br/>Seared salmon sashimi: 4/5<br/>Emperors new roll: 3.5/5<br/><br/>

The food took 1.5 hours to reach me. Was quite disappointed with that!

Took more then 1 hour 15 min to deliver. The tempura were oily. Tofu n sushi were upto standard

Gotta love this place.<br/><br/>In this particular branch, we are mostly served by Bilawal who has always been very accommodating and very attentive to all our needs – whether it is about helping us understand anything new on the menu or understanding our taste and preferences, he has never disappointed even once.<br/><br/>As someone who isn't a huge fan of sushi or seafood in general, I was skeptical about trying out the food here initially. A friend of mine insisted we go here for dinner one night and I am so glad she did. Because I haven't been able to stop myself from going back since... Evident by the number of photos I've uploaded along with this review, I suppose! I dragged my whole family here for my sister's birthday recently and everybody loved their experience. The taste, quality and quantity of food, and the service – all brilliant.<br/><br/>Their app is worth downloading because you get points for every Dirham spent here. <br/><br/>The only reason I haven't given a 5/5 rating is because at times, I've noticed that there are flies in the restaurant. I'm sure there is some way this can be taken care of.

The food was delivered after 78 minutes whereas the estimated time was 55 minutes. That’s fine - the driver said it was rush hour and he had 10 other deliveries, but please adjust the estimated delivery time so we can plan accordingly. They also forgot to bring the card machine, and messed up one of the orders. Regardless, the sushi tasted good as usual, it’s a shame the overall experience was not up to their usual standard.

the cheesecake was a disappointment but the rest of the food good. Amazing delivery service!
