This visit to the caspian kabab al barsha was the best one so far I have tried Persian food from different places and I can highly recommend caspian Kebab having the most authentic Kababs till date. This place is really a hidden gem for Authentic Persian Food. We had the mixed grill platter with Persian saffron rice, berry rice and bread. The mix grill had yoghurt Kababs, bahrini kababs, saffron kababs, etc... loved them. We were also served special yoghurt and salad.the cheesenin the salad was so delicious. We took their mix dish of kabab for take away and they amazed us with their variety of kababs in it. There were few types of chicken and beef in it. They packaging and food presentation was very well specially in this situation. We ordered also the special kabab barg that was sooo tasty . All of them were very cooked well and juicy. I have tried so many persian restaurants. I think caspian have the best kabab. It's so juicy.The meat was really well cooked and it was very fresh. Their joje kabab was really soft i really like although im not a fan chicken. Like their soup and their vegetable persian plate that they serve with persian style cheese and there in house freshly baked bread. I ended my experience at caspian with their special double color tea. I would really recommend. This hidden jewel was suggested to me by one of my business associate from Iran. In love with Iranian cuisine, we decided to try this out as a dine in option. The love for food won over the fear of COVID-19 and we reached Caspian immediately after the Friday prayer time. We were the only ones in the restaurant and were greeted warmly by Mr Waheed. He was so kind and flexible that he customized our order beautifully. Complimentary bread, salad and soup were served instantly. For the main course, I opted for Chelo Kebab and very happy about this decision. Mr. Waheed customized the order in such a way that i could taste a lot of variety. The rice was a mix of barberry rice and saffron rice. I also got 1 skewer each of lamb and chicken Kubideh. And then the next 30 minutes were full of deliciousness in every bite. Will keep coming back. What came out from today's experience was: Hot fragrant rice + saffron + barberry + butter + grilled tomato + Kubideh = Heaven And the way in which Mr. Waheed is taking care of the customers is like angels taking care. Like in most Iranian restaurant their thin and light bread stands out. The chicken soup as starter was simple but works well with the bread. Minced Kabab were soft and mildly spicy, and so easy on the stomach. Chicken Tikka had some raw smell but was okay with the rice. The seating arrangement could be improved. The serving lady was polite but mechanical.

We first visited this place on Friday last week and they had a buffet which was so reasonably priced at Aed 50/- they were kind enough not to charge the children. They served yougurt chicken and meat , chicken and meat minced kebab, meat dish , rice , salad bar - limited desert as it was mostly fruit but the food was great and extremely reasonable for Iranian food- so head down there with your family they have some good service and kebab!

Not 5* because when i tried to order it on the evening of the world cup final i was refused delivery because they had come up with a new minimum order for that night. My husband and I ate here twice last month (end of February 2018). We stayed at the Savoy Central hotel apartments and Caspian Special Kabab was just down the street. In addition to the restaurant, they have a window/street service, in which you can order Shawarma's. On our first night, we ordered the kabab platter, which had six kabab's! It was a huge platter that was a mix of different meats, It came french fries, and grilled onions and tomatoes; and a side of saffron rice. But first, we were served a cup of soup, roti bread and yogurt dip; along with a dish of greens and feta cheese. We ended up taking half of the food home and ate it the next night. On our second visit, we ordered two types of Shawarma and ate them in the restaurant. We also had the garlic dip - wow, excellent flavors. I ordered a lemonade, which was some of the best I've ever had. Both meals were well-priced (116 AED ($31.58) for the kabab dinner and 34 AED ($9.30) for the second dinner). We met the owner, who was very friendly and talked to us for a bit. Our young waitress was very attentive and soft-spoken. If you're in the area, try this place!!

Have been there several times and love their food, always fresh and hot with a nice selection, nice, fresh salad and fruit selection also. My favorite is their eggplant with meat, it is always delicious! ordered it last night and had my mouth all ready for that, but they called back in about 5 min or so and let us know they didnt have eggplant, only had the bindhi and rice, this is also good but to me, it simply cant replace the eggplant, thats what I really enjoyed, but took it because it had already charged to our credit card :-( Anyway, it was good :-)

Had visited this place one of the days during lunch hours on a weekday place was decent when it comes to the ambience as we sat down the server came and based on her recommendations we decided to order Caspian special mix for 2 persons . It was freshly prepared and served to us within 20 mins of time which is fair enough along with salad , hot roti bread and Irani Special yogurt . The mix grill platter was very good it had Various Kababs , Chicken & Mutton tikkas . Pricing wise it costed us Dhs 95/- only which was fair enough .

This is a surprisingly nice little restaurant located behind the Sharaf DG metro station lanes. I'm not sure if they're known very well for their kebabs but that's certainly the good thing they have. We ordered the Bahraini Chicken Kebab. It comes with 2 pieces of Arabic bread and a salad. The portion is enough for one or maybe two if you aren't that hungry. The taste was pretty good. I thought the price didn't justify the portion size, but nevertheless the food quality seemed neat. If you're ordering at home order a bit in advance at it takes time to deliver. Otherwise dine in is good too. Surely something I would want to try again in the future for more kebabs.

Gave them 4.5 rating because we went there to eat aash (soup) and then found out that certain items are made only on certain days; its even mentioned on the menu (which I saw whilst sitting in the restaurant).. not a deal breaker I guess haha will LEARRRRN to look it up on Zomato before being spontaneous next time..

"I wish I had taken pictures", my thought as I smoked with my friend outside the venue which has two beautiful murals on either side of the shawarma setup. A classy touch. I met an old friend who arrived in Dubai and it was memorable to say the least, seeing as it was the last place I ate in just before the new year. We ordered 2 half grilled chicken which was well plated and tasted well in my opinion, my friend was of another mind since he used to frequent Caspian and commented that they've since lost their touch. Yet for a first timer, I was judging based on what I tasted. The chicken was grilled thoroughly and was juicy, not spicy at all though it looked like it! Which isn't a bad thing..Unless your a spice addict like me, but it's not a compulsion. The mint yoghurt and Roccoa leaves salad was brilliant and accompanied the food very well. Leaving a cool and refreshing taste which lingers when one has chicken and salad. Truly simple ingredients and a 5 star outcome. If they lost any points here it would be that the bread would best be served when asked for. Our bread was crunchy and lost any and all of its lightness that is expected. The service was spot on. Not rushing us and adhering to our needs courteously and promptly insuring an extra .5 for my review, No smoking inside the venue which is acceptable due to its lack of size. In a bite - A definite dropby if in Al Barsha for a complete Iranian experience.

Honestly, I rate this place a solid 7. The portions are good. The food is a little above average in terms of taste. I did like there kabob masti though. Solid dish. It's worth a try, trying it even once won't leave you leaving disappointed.

Decided to have takeaway food yesterday. Now My dad is an Iranian food connoisseur, so I thought why not Iranian food from Caspian. Staff: 5/5 I couldn't find a parking and was roaming around the joint but the staff saw me and actually came outside with a menu to take the order. She was very sweet and didn't rush me or anything. Food: 3.5/5 I ordered two kg mixed grill (hey it's a big family, okay) and two muttabbal. I didn't get the muttabbal which they mixed up with homus. I read the reviews of this place after making the order, so I was having very low expectations. Surprisingly the food was good. Even my dad who is yet to find a better restaurant than sultan restaurant in Abu Dhabi didn't disapprove of this food(which guys is a very big deal, if you knew how picky he is). Safe to say I will be back to this place to try the other dishes.

How did this restaurant get 3.5 rating? It beats me. I was craving Iranian food, and after doing some research on zomato I found out that Caspian is not far from home. I ordered the mixed platter, rice and I wanted to order some salads but for some weird reasons it was not possible to do so from the online order menu as no starters or drinks were on the list. Anyways , the food arrives on time, the packaging is ok, I start eating and I am very much disappointed ... The meat has a weird strange taste, the chicken as well was not any better, I gave some yo my cats who refused to eat it ... The French fries were greasy, soggy, tasted like old frying oil, the rice was the only decent dish in that order. Portions delivered were ok but quality and taste should be improved. I ate Iranian food in other restaurants and the taste was completely different. This is not my favorite Iranian in town!

Tried Caspian for lunch , Nice place with decent food , went for special mixed grill for two , salad and labane ! Grill was big portion , sufficient for three moderate eating guys ! Taste : grill was very good specially chicken , mutton was not as good as chicken but it was worth it's price ! Salad was not very extensive but they charge only AED10 for salad so at that price it was good ! Small labane is good for two as a big jar of labane is what you get ! Overall nice place for occasional lunch ! PS: don't expect Iranian bred (thin one )

Fast service, delicious rice and above average food. My party and I ordered the minced meat kebab and the eggplant with plain rice. The food was good and very reasonably priced. The barberry rice was the best part of my food journey here. The service after ordering was extremely fast so I'm guessing that most of our food was premade and heated and served to us. That's not an issue for me as long as the food is still fresh. The atmosphere is what you would expect at this restaurant, I wish they change the uncomfortable seats. The staff were not very attentive even though we were one out of maybe 3 parties there on a slow Friday evening. We had to do a lot waving and "excuse Me's" before we could ask someone to come to our table. This is the only thing preventing me from giving it a higher rating.

Visited caspian again today, and as it used to be always one of the best persian restaurants in dubai, i tried the chicken with saffron and it was just finger licking great, service perfect, and not to forget their hot bread right from the oven, i advice this place to everyone.

After reading some of the reviews on here, I decided to visit this restaurant and order the 'best seller' according to the waitress, chicken tikka with rice. Let's start with the decor: a little outdated and not looked after. The service seemed ok but the chicken was poorly cooked and it tasted weird. It was chewy and did not taste freshly grilled. The few chips on the plate were not hot at all. A bit disappointing because I could not finish it, even though I was hungry. Not impressed!

For Tikka Masti this good you will have to go all the way to Ostadi Special in Meena Bazaar. And that I am even mentioning Caspian's version of this South Iranian classic ‎in such exhaulted company should tell you how good it is -- this applies to both chicken and lamb. But it's not all about the Tikka Masti, the Khoresht Bamiyeh -- Okra Stew was pretty good too -- impressive considering that Iranian restaurants are good at one or the other (stews or kababs) but seldom both. That said, the Tikka Masti is in a league of it's own. I also liked the little salad bar they have -- try the Shirazi Salad, it's spot on. Kazem, the friendly restaurant manager, told me about the lunch buffet they have on Fridays and Saturdays, which at AED47 a head, seems like quite a steal considering that it includes many of their kababs. So if you have a craving for Tikka Masti but don't want to go all the way to Ostadi, or if you just want a really good, authentic Iranian meal, Caspian is the place to go. Bah Bah.

The Honest Opinion - Danish Chotani

The day you don't want to spend at Sabestan or don't want to drive to Pars....or don't want to wait for a table at Special Kebab, and really crave for iranian food that's right round the corner....go to Caspian. Average ambience caters to the average food....quality and and presentation. They don't make an effort....you don't care...eat the regular Yougurt Tikka, Chelo Kebab .....and call it a night. You'll forget the food they'll forget you were ever there....all good for an average fare.... Tip to order....go for the platters....

I was pleasantly surprised when I ordered in from Caspian. The kebabs and the grilled meats are excellent. The meat quality is very good and the kebabs are cooked to perfection with all the flavours and juices intact. I've only tried the Mixed Grill and Mixed Kebab (Chicken and Meat) with yoghurt. Will definitely order again when my Iranian cuisine cravings are up!

This is the very first Iranian restaurant we tried and we were pleasantly surprised, but what makes this restaurant very special is the level of service we have received on each of our returning visits. ordered delivery from them last night & here is the verdict: call answered quickly and very professionally. the man on the phone was knowledgable, patient (towards my ignorance of some dishes) & helpful. food arrived in less than the time given (very good sign) now to the hero of this affair: the food... we ordered hommos, yoghurt marinated chicken tikka, caspian salad & grilled hamour. hommos was way below par, but the bread was fresh and good... chicken was well prepared but for those who dont like 'cheesy' tasting food, avoid this one. the marinade was very strong (i loved it, but sure most of the regular population wouldnt) yhe hamour was well grilled, lightly spiced/marinated & so was the rice. the portion of rice was rather small though.. specially for the price. all in all, it was good, but there are many mich better iranian cuisine specialists in this part of town that are much better...
