We were here for dinner @humyum located in Jumeriah and we ordered :
Chicken cheese pops
Falafel platter
Dynamite Shirmps
Chicken burger
Chicken Biryani
All the ordered food was served sizzling hot and fresh
We also had fresh juice mango, strawberry and cocktail and they were so refreshing
And the ending had to end with something sweet and we had Laqmat which was served with honey, date syrup, lotus and Nutella And sprinkle with some sesame seeds
The service, food taste and staff everything was amazing and superb
We really liked the ambiance of the restaurant

I ordered pizza ( its completely different campared to other pizza . The crust very thin and crispy which enhances the tastes ) if you visit plz order pizza. I am sure you guys will love it .

When midnight cravings for emirati snack hits, humyum is definitely my go to place. Karak + Chabab + Riqaq and end with Luqaimat! HumYum definitely deserves the yum in their name.
Found this joint on Zomato in our pursuit for good ‘Luqaimat’.
They have a tastefully done up interiors. One can enjoy their outdoor seating by the roadside, just as we did.
Service was okay. Menu card is in form of a tab, where you can see exactly what to expect and order the dishes.
We settled for what we sought, assorted ‘Luqaimat’, in three flavors. They were just yummy.
Another snack that we tried was good too. Don’t recall the right name...probably ‘Rigag’.
It’s right on the main road and sitting out is fun.

Yummy local Emaratee food 🥘 went there at 2 am after strolling around the amazing city of Dubai! On the menu chicken biryani, chicken burger, beef burger wrapped in special local bread! Service is perfect, and not over priced! Would recommend
This place is really awesome, especially to chill with friends. They have amazing rigags and my favorite is Sharma Rigag, Oman chips rigag and Nutella crepes . It’s delicious. Since I’m a person who always wants the tea to be perfect, I can say that the karak tea was satisfying and refreshing here. And the best part that they have games which keep you entertained (like carrom board) . Staffs are really friendly and professional. Overall, it was a good experience to be here.
Lotus lugamat - BEST IN TOWN. There is not much to say once you have heard those 3 words . Absolutely mouth watering & delightful ,it’s value for money ...the quantity served for 26 dhs is roughly like 20 mini lugamats which are quite heavy on the tummy but you just can’t get enough with all the lotus dripping off .
Very nice place to have some traditional Emirati food in a good value. The menu is huge so you have a lot of options to go for. I would prefer to go a little early evening when it is comparatively less crowded for good service. Lot of people also take-away orders from Humyum.

It is always a pleasure to go to Hum Yum, and nice to eat traditional Emarati street food for a change specially when it is done the traditional way.
It is one of those places were you can eat clean street food that you can trust to deliver the same taste always. They make amazing traditional and trendy Emarati snacks such as luqaymat which is my favorite, Yummy Yummy :)
However, 1. Their menu is long with huge variety and selection of dishes, which I think is confusing. 2. Sometimes the service is slow, specially in the night. 3. When the owner of the restaurant is there, service tend to be very slow and the place will be packed (I think because he is a social media influencer). 4. When the place is packed, staff tend not to clean the tables properly, so make sure to ask to wipe and clean your table if it is not. 5. I think for a traditional food the restaurant is overpriced with very low quantity.
5 star for that amazing shakshouka paratha with Oman chips roll. The best satisfying breakfast in the Longest time. Parking could be an issue but I got lucky so full points from me! And the karak....oh the karak
In search of Rigaag and good Karak.... found this place via an article in a local newspaper and through Zomato. What a great find.
Good Karak - Saffron and ginger, just the right level of sweetness. We had the Rigaag with cheese amd Oman chips and throughly enjoyed it. Also tried the egg and cheese rigaag, good. The burger was a very pleasant surprise. It was suggested by our server as being fresh and fresh it was... the patty was made in house the bread too we were told was made there.
As for the decor, they have carrom boards as tables. They also have 2 slightly secluded booths with majlis style sofas and local artefacts for decor, we picked those and chatted long after our meal was done without any disturbance feom the staff.

I love Rigag, it’s an Arabic dosa for indian. I was searching for a restaurant who serves Rigag and Chabab, and found Humyum sometime back. Was unable to visit them, coincidentally I was in Umm Suqeim nearby Hunyum and visited in lunch time.
The ambience is modern and nice, I had Nutella Rigag and Cheese and Egg Chabab! Both were amazing.
Would visit then again soon!
HumYum is an iconic part of the Jumeirah Beach Road experience. I recommend the chips oman paratha roll, the honey and cheese rigag and the karak chai!

I go there specifically for Luqaimat with Debs, they never disappoint :) be careful they are severed burning hot !!!! And preferred to be eaten immediately 😆 so figure it out
Hum Yum. Is a good. Small restaurant good for emirati desserts and some other dishes. My personal favourate is the cheese and honey chebab and nutella chebab with karak tea.
Must try this place best emratifood best service best f3 ice coffee must try it. I must say it's worth the money very yummy food very clean and healthy food there is many variety to choose👌👍

I love this place!!!! The do great sweets but the chai karak and the wraps are mediocre. I think they probably do the best gaymat in dubai! I would suggest the dhibs one. The interior is so quirky 😂
Ambience:
The interior is designed in such a way that it gives you a feeling of an authentic emirati place with carrom boards as tables and ceiling lights as teapots and mud pots.

Review:
The nutella rigag with the combination of Nutella & cheese on crispy bread was really yummy. The burger tasted good as well. Even though it was a regular zinger strip with khamir bread.
Price:
The prices were reasonable considering the location.
Result:
I would strongly recommend this place for people who likes to try emirate desert and snacks.

FOODIES:
What an awesomely killer place to have Emirati food. Each and everything that was served was delicious to the core.
Was there with my super-hungry, starving family of 7 (including me) and a toddler for a fam-jam-Friday lunch - understandably, we ordered a lot!
Food:
- Chababs: Cheese + Cheese & Egg! And none of them disappointed!
- Chabab Beef Burger: I definitely ain't got no beef with that! Best baked / cooked burger EVER!
- Pizza Rigag: Actually tasted like a Middle-Eastern pizza!
- Shawarma Rigag: Creamily delicious and mind you, they're not holding back on the meat at all! Yass!
- Nutella Knefe: Must-try!
- Lotus Rigag: It's now a legend in my books!
Decor:
Super cozy, warm and friendly - carrom boards converted into tables, vintage fronts of pastel teal coloured busses, cutesy Emirati ornaments, had a little water well too, plus there were open upside down traditional tea/coffee pots hanging from the ceiling that served as lighting for the restaurant!
Also, they had these little private coves for families and groups, plus tables and chairs otherwise as well.
Super chill and inviting stuff.
Service:
Prompt, easy-going, friendly and smiling staff...
Not too well-trained though - For details, see 'Cons' below.
Advice:
Ask the server how many guests each dish serves and how much time it takes to get ready.
HUM YUM:
Pros -
* Your servers are extremely friendly towards children and were careful with toddlers straying about and playing on the floor
* When we ordered the Ginger Tea, they were kind enough to provide mint leaves when requested with a warm smile
Cons -
* Firstly, update your menu here on Zomato...
* Secondly, there is no prep time mentioned in your menu, neither were the servers trained enough to warn us that there's only one chef and the food will take time to arrive...
(did I mention my super-hungry, starving family of 7)
* Thirdly, the food was yummy, but didn't state no where how many it serves! The images provided next to the categories are deceptful in terms of quantity served...
* So,
Preferably, add the prep time next to each dish or section
OR train your servers towards...
1) Introducing themselves
2) Asking the patrons how hungry they are on a scale of 1 to 5 or 10
3) Providing information on how many guests will the dishes serve
4) Suggesting dishes based on number of guests and spice level / tolerances / sweet tooth preferances etc.
5) And most importantly, stating whether guests have over ordered (to avoid wasting food) or under ordered (to avoid waiting period for more to arrive)
* Fourthly, some of the dishes are best served wrapped as a sandwich (Pizza Rigag), cause otherwise the ingredients fall out, it's hot / messy to hold, not easy to share etc.
* Fifthly, most importantly, have a staff on stand-by, who cleans the washrooms on an hourly basis at the least... not cool to see that the only time the washrooms were getting cleaned was when the next shift of staff walks in (cause we were there for at least a good 3 hours)
* Sixthly, please get a wheelchair ramp... you will go a long way, karmically as well.
CONCLUSION:
- Take the advice mentioned on top, go to the washroom before visiting this place and try out their Challab Beef Burger! Hum Yum is truly YUM! :D
I heard a lot about that place & i decide to go to try .
The place is so calm and quite they had just 1 table , the interiors is amasing .
I order regag with cheese wich is tasty & karak tea .
Just they need to work about 1 thing " SERVICE"
The service was soo slow and the waiters they don't care about the dining people , they are looking just after the waiting cars .
Hum Yum located in the heart of Dubai on Jumeirah road .. Its a local snacks and drinks and the prices is very good.. Jebab breads are in so tasty and the karak tea
So for weekend we hung out with our friends at Hum Yum to try out some Emirati cuisine.
We had:
The Pizza Rigag from @humyum ! A Rigag is a type of Emirati bread but closer to a crispy crepe. This rigag was so cheesy and delicious and it is one of their best sellers there!
We also had:
The Nutella Chabab ! An Emirati Pancake with nutella filling in between. This dish was just what we needed to satisfy our sweet tooth late night on a weekend!
And to end with, we tried out the Shawarma Chappati- All the tangy pickly marinated meat with tahina in Chappatis! I actually liked this version of a Shawarma!
You will find all these here at Hum Yum- a small joint serving Emirati snacks, with their cooking counters on top of land rover bonnets, customer tables as carrom boards and ceiling lights as mud pots & teapot kettles, yeap you read that right!

A good place for breakfast, that serves really good rigag . Ordered a cheese and zatar rigag and watermelon juice. The rigag was really good . The service is quick . Will come back soon

Lovely interior and amazing ambience out there. Serves really quick and it's pocket friendly too.
I ordered Lotus Regag and it was really tasty and crunchy. Served hot from the pan.
Oh, and their zafran black tea is also one of a kind!

Tried this place late at night, and yet they were pretty friendly and happy to serve.
Service : Quick and Friendly
we didn't really go inside so I cannot speak for the ambience.
The hotdog and cheese rqaq and Nutella rqaq were pretty good, but they were no different from a little place I eat right around the corner.
However a nice place to have a light snack.
Price : around 12-15 per rqaq which is pretty okay.
Overall a nice place to visit for a good snack.
This place is clean and simple. Serves up traditional emirati snack foods. Have tried a lot of lgeimat but the ones at hum yum are 100% the best I've had. Highly recommend if you're in a time crunch and looking to satisfy your hunger.
When I'm at Jumeirah street I must go for humyun for the logaimat & karak tea!

The most awesome Emirati food I have had in a very long time! Being a vegetarian I can vouch this has soo many options and the best thing is they use PUCK vegetarian cheese 😀
We had the Pizza Rigag which was so yumm! The sambosa cheese paratha was crisp and hot and so well made. We had the falafel Khamir which is very different and good. The Cheese chubab was pancake with cheese and my daughter loved it too, so soft and spongy!

If you're an Arab you know this place will make you smile. This is one of the most popular drive through for Karak tea and Rqaq. You should definitely try their Karak tea and Nutella Rqaq.
One of the Best local food restaurants but the only thing I didn't like is the shawarma it was a bit sour vinegar was on but it depends on the person what taste do you have .
Probably my favorite place when I'm craving sandwiches. This place is pure heaven and no exaggeration! Their karak chai is the best I've had from all cafeterias and fancy tea places, also their pizza crepe and Oman cheese sandwich is a must try.

Growing up in UAE, you will relate a lot to this restaurant and it will bring back memories of life gone past by.
Tasteful decor, simple and clean- convenient in its location. Friendly staff and decently priced its a must visit with your kids as well!

What we went for: "snacky" brunch @ Kite Beach with the extended family... on a public holiday
Ambience: sun soaked aquamarine waters and white sands, kite surfing, kids skating, people strolling on the tracks and I realized despite having lived in Dubai for over 5 years I am still discovering it.. and finding another part of the world in this very international melting pot wonder of a city! At Kite beach, this morning I thought I had been transported to Gold Coast!!! Hum Yum itself is a little kiosk in an area that also houses Bon Hail CAfe, operation FAlafel, BRGR, KAakunada, Smart Brat etc.
What we ordered: their very popular cheesy fries paratha rolls, Karak chai
Price: Aed 55
Verdict: I liked the service of the staff that was the right mixture of friendly playfulness and confidence that oozes from knowing the popularity of their offerings.
The cheesy fries paratha with hot sauce is one of those junk foods you must have atleast once in your lifetime for its extreme yumminess. No vice can be more terrible than total abstinence ;)!
I belong to the school that believes in trying anything atleast once.. and the paratha roll definitely deserves to be relished but no more than the total number of fingers in your 2 hands in your lifetime!!!
Its like ski diving- you can't explain it..you just have to jump and take the risk that you will survive ;)..
the heights of culinary pleasure you can reach with foods that clog your artery!! Aah..!!
Would I return? Definitely not tomorrow, though the untamed glutton in me tempts me silently " you live life once, eat what you want and don't care a hoot"..
But sense and sensibility does rule at the end of the day..
so perhaps just when my body has forgiven this minor fall from grace...I will be back for a little walk on kite beach followed by a treat- the cheesy fries paratha roll and some Karak chai.

If you're having a cheap hunger then go for the paratha rolls. All are good.
Lukeymiyat were too expensive for 20bucks. I'll go to global village and eat more for less.
Khameer was average. Over all chill experience. Try those crepes. One of my friends had. She said it was tasty. They gave Nutella and banana which she tried.
the name got me curious because i couldn't tell what is the food offered, ok, it is more of a café. the food there is average, good but not a dinner or lunch for sure. best they have is karak tea
They have the best Karak and horlex.. The selection on the menu is a good one with variety of desserts selection.. The lugeimat is a must try..
very friendly place, customer service was just fine. the menu was great and long, although i think they need a location with easier parking and access. and i love their karak chai, its what we come for.
A long drive to Jumeirah on a long weekend calls for a wonderful cup of Kadak Chai. My cousin suggested this place as she has been here before and simply loves their chai. We tried it and absolutely relished it. A freshly brewed cup of tea refreshed and energized us. Neither too milky, nor very sweet, their chai has become one of my favourite. Will definitely be back soon to try other items.
I'm always on the lookout for nice places where you get Kadak Chai , strong Indian tea that is made with tea leaves, milk.
This was a nice discovery on wasl road. The tea was good they can make it less sweet & had it with chabab ( never heard of it before!) yummy cheese , honey pancake along with it!
It's on main road and we quickly stop by for cup of Karak. There is no proper parking available so sometimes you have to stop at busstop and call the guys in yellow uniform. You will see many cars in wrong parking space just to grab a nice cup of Karak. Simply love their Karak tea., LUQMA and Nutella crepe.
We have once paid fine of 500 dhs for wrong parking so be careful guys. For the love of 5dhs tea we paid 500 ;)
These guys are fantastic and we been going there almost every other day for the cheese Oman chips RAKAK with Dakoos (hot sauce) it's unbelievable, especially to the ones who have been raised in Dubai. So yeah go try the samosa RAKAK, cheese Rk, Nutella banana, porata shawarma, I mean everything is spot on, oh yeah the best Saffron Karak is served here. No one else is better that this ! Trust me I tried all........... Perfect is an understatement and they use quality Saffron.

It is a really small place, but the food they offer is great.
We had gone just for some drinks.
We had a karak tea, a mix fruit cocktail and a HumYum special hot.
The karak tea was really great and the juice was good too. Also the cup in which they serve they tea is impressive.
The “HumYum special Hot” is a type of a coffee. It has less water in it. Some might love it, some might not. Personally, I loved it.
They have plenty of staff at your beck and call.
The service is fast too.
If you're sitting inside, it feels too much near the kitchen area.
One of favorite new karak spots.
Everything from essential karak to Rqaq to paratha. Hum yum has it all. It is a good positive push to the much needed traditional fast food. The long queues at the shop tell you everything you need to know about how good this place is.

Traditional emirati food at its best!!!Love their karak, rgaag and lgaimat. They are very known for their karak btw so make sure to try that. We ordered their karak(HIGHLY Recommended) since they are known for it, the cheese nutella rgaag which was delicious, cheese chips oman paratha which was nice but lacked a bit of taste.

There are indoor and outdoor seating but the place is to small.
i ordered khamer with cheese and honey / chebab (emarati pan cakes) with cheese and falafel with regag.
I highly recommend the falafel with regag its soooo tummmy.

A stop I would make to try my favorite which would be the Luqmat, the Khemeer and Regag. Humyum has definitely impressed since its a one stop for all the emarati quick bites I would like to have. The area is small and I normally don't dine in here, take away is my best option. Reasonably priced and good food is what you get here! Try it out...

الجلسات خارجيه و داخليه وفيه مغسلتين مهم عندي مكان لغسل اليد

رغم تنوع الوجبات المحلية لكن الطعم يحتاج تطوير اكثر .
طلبت بيض طماط وشرحت لها مب اومليت...الخ. نزلوا لي اومليت، خبز براتا مع عجبني كثير ناشف. الكرك كان زين

نبذه عنه: يقع مطعم هم يم في شارع الجميرا بدبي، ويمتاز بديكوره الداخلي الذي يعود بك إلى الماضي الجميل. فعند دخولك إلى المطعم ستشاهد السيارات الكلاسيكية والطاولات التي صممت على شكل لعبة الكيرم التي كانت لها شعبية واسعة في الجزيرة العربية
