I finally made it to Molecule, having heard so many good things I was eager to taste it all. IT WAS AMAZING. The reviews do not do it justice. The service was impeccable, the dècor was unbelievable and the food with the new Italian chef was to die for.
We were greeted with a friendly smile and educated on the menu. The background music seemed tailor made for the restaurant. Every little detail from the plates to the candles showed how much thought had gone in to make this place unique.
Obviousely I will be returning and recommending to all my friends.

Had a great time yesterday - started the evening with a bottle of Malbec, aubergine for starters and ordered the steak which was beautifully cooked with blueberries - tried the chocolate special and creek brûlée for dessert - lovely lovely food, ambience, drinks and service was top notch from our Serbian waiter whom we nicknamed 'mr red pants' - he made sure we didn't over order on our sides and gave us complimentary orange tasting cocktails. Thank you
My favourite restaurant in d3! Beautiful design, relaxed vibes, cool cocktail selection and, above all, phenomenal food (their new menu is even better). The fact that they now have delivery is nothing short of amazing.

Popped in on Friday afternoon for some drinks with friends, firstly the female DJ was awesome, great vibes, the food was tasty, drinks tastier and the staff were so friendly and helpful. Really enjoyed my experience will definitely be back!

I'd describe Molecule as a funky French bistro with loads of atmosphere. It's a relaxed, friendly, restaurant with green, enclosed garden. Great tasting food - see their signature Molecule salad. Menus created by Parisienne Head Chef Udo, delicious and varied. He came to my table briefly to greet me and I'm very impressed with his background, having worked for 5 years with globally famous Michelin 3 *** Chef Joel Robuchon and 20 years in a Michelin * restaurant. Really impressed with the team; friendly, relaxed, professional and will be there again very soon. Oh and you should see the interior decor - checkout their handmade suspended ceiling!

Such a hidden gem! Tried all the specialty cocktails on the menu and they were all amazing! The food as well was very good. Would definitely recommend Molecule for a casual night for drinks with friends, or for a nice lunch or coffee (the almond milk lattes are my favourite in Dubai)
Amazing place! It has a wide range of cocktails that taste amazing. The salmon dish is the best I’ve had in Dubai and I would definitely recommend trying it. The place also has a great atmosphere and you can even borrow chessboards so you can challenge your mates.

One of the best menus in town offering a fresh modern cuisine. I highly recommend the salmon burger! If that isn’t enough they make great coffees and can cater any drink that tantalises you at the time. This is all thanks to the staff who are so friendly and engaging. Ever since the beginning of the Dubai Design District, the vicinity has peaked people’s interests as to what else they could find within. Home to obviously anything that has to do with designs, it also houses a wide portfolio of companies with a number of employees, making it the perfect place to set up restaurants. That’s where this renowned Michelin chef-led French bistronomic restaurant is tucked into. Easy to miss, yet hard to forget once you’ve set foot and experienced the vibe.
I had the pleasure of being invited to dinner at this talked-about lounge and was quite giddied up to try it out. It had a very skimpy entrance but a very intimate outdoor seating. The interior was beautifully designed – naturally, they’re in the design district, they’d have to live up to it. The soft lighting complemented the dark interiors, giving it a cozy feel. Molecule being highly featured on magazines at the time, we expected it to be a little bit busier, but only found ourselves – literally – at the restaurant. Perhaps a dead time of the week? The music somehow did not match the interiors – DJ was playing a lot of deep house remixes.
Our server sat us down and walked us through the menu. I liked that they didn’t have such an extensive menu, rather a more straightforward one, which made choosing a lot easier: chicken and salmon. I won’t go into detail describing the food because it’s been a little over a few months, so I can’t really remember all that much. I do remember both the chicken and salmon being grilled to perfection, maintaining its juiciness. I also do remember that their portions were a lot smaller than I thought it would be, also given the prices weren’t cheap. A little bit more wouldn’t hurt, really.
It was a great experience, to be honest, even if I can’t say much about the food. The place is intimate. The staff were very attentive and helpful. The interiors were something to look at. Really makes for a nice dinner out.

Very nice food and very nice restaurant decor. The food was fresh and properly made. It is a bit overpriced but we used our entertainer vouchers. We went for lunch it was completely empty but I guess it would be busier at night.
One of the coziest Cafe which I have ever encountered in Dubai so far. The interior is not too bright and not too fancy but moderately stylish. And the grilled salmon burger which I ordered was just magnificent. Rich taste of buns, avocado and of course the grilled salmon were making perfect harmony. Absolutely recommendable! Only the negative comment I have is the asian salad on the side does not really go with the burger in terms of taste, though the salad itself is good taste. Just the problem of combination.

Reasonable prices for very flavorful dishes! The fish was delicious , super fresh and very well seasoned with a touch of pesto.

It was an amazing experience, the ambiance was very welcoming and artistic, food was excellent, the chef was so hospitable and personally come to the table when we ask for suggestions. This place definitely has a lot of character to it in terms of the ambiance. It's distinctive, crafty and tasteful. Their cocktail menu is pretty impressive and promising in terms of the mixes and the happy hour is super impressive too. Went here on a weekday to catch up with a couple of friends who work in the area and the place was bustling by evening. The service was decent enough to take on a packed house and the cocktails were smooth.
Of all the cocktails we tried, I like Santa Maria, as it was a fusion of sweet and spice that had a refreshing yet distinct flavor. Even the Ravioli was sumptuous and satisfying. The pasta sauce and the ricotta cheese tasted delicious. The portion sizes are decent and with ENBD offers and Zomato Gold, this place is Gold :)

Molecule, rightly located in Dubai Design District, was one place I wanted to try for a long time. The interior and the ambiance of this restaurant and bar perfectly balances the concept of D3.
They play an amazing set of music with right mix to their theme; wherein one can enjoy the music and even chalk-talk with their mates.
The staff here is super friendly and helpful, has perfect knowledge about their menu and the ingredients they use for the preparation. Their team provided great service and assured we had our comfort and enjoyed our time at their restaurant.
The menu has been designed minutely with food and drinks options which are absolutely incredible.
Their bar menu has a wide selection of mocktails & cocktails. We tried almost every selection they got and the most recommended ones out of them is -
- The Shazprezzo and
- The Fierce Jack.
They serve Mediterranean and French cuisine food with an authentic taste and a perfect value for a meal. They have well crafted the food, right from the starters till the desserts.
The pastry chef at the restaurant will definitely not disappoint your taste buds. :)

Went to Molecule on a Sunday evening for dinner and i was blown away to how good the food was here! Such a stunning place to gather your work colleagues and friends. Ξ t h e i n t e r i o r s Ξ. Super chic and rich! Beautifully designed with amazing ceiling work and color scheme. As for the service, it was phenomenal. I had the entire restaurant to myself and that was expected as i visited them on a weekday!

Molecule has three amazing things going for it an Italian chef, D3 and it is licensed! But in all seriousness this is a gem in D3. Diverse and delicious menu, gallery art, great location and friendly staff while also being upscale and affordable makes this a go to place in D3. The presentation of the dishes was fantastic and my main had that lovely simplicity I expect from a proper Italian pasta dish.

As you enter you’ll be taken up with the interiors and ambience.. very international and sophisticated. The restaurant is quiet and best for a quiet, special meal. The service is polite and the food very fresh and delicious. We ordered a chicken supreme which came with a side of mashed potatoes and a salad .. The salad could have been better flavored with a garnish . Overall a place you must visit..

In my line of work I am visiting new restaurants on a daily. I personally prefer dining at restaurants with limited menu options. Why you ask? Cause then you know the food is going to be really good because the chef knows exactly what to serve rather than just going in every direction. Molecule happens to have limited menu options but the food is incredible. For started we ordered the Buratta which was really good and the portion size was enough for 2 to share.
The pan seared salmon was delicious and didn't taste too fishy. The spinach ravioli was also really good.
To be honest, you will be uploading your food to your social media as soon as it's served on your table cause it just looks so good #tasty #foodreview
They also have a wide selection of cocktails and mocktails. I ordered Jack's Passion which was refreshing and didn't taste watered down at all.
All in all, I would recommend to go here. It's perfect for a romantic date or just to try good food with your mates and have a drink later at the bar.
Nice location especially during fashion seasons. D3 is a good place to discover. Food is fine and fancy. New twists. Salads are good like Caprese burrata with multicolored tomatoes. Desserts are different - must try the mystery arabica. Cheers!
Located in Dubai design district ,the interior of this restaurant is quite fine and done well .
The food was good too, we ordered the beef tartare, ricotta ravioli and chicken .The beef tartare specifically tasted really GOOD, the chicken and ravioli were strictly ok.The service was spot on.The only thing I didn’t like was the location of the restrooms upstairs and also that lift to go up is super small and slow .

New restaurant and lounge in D3, Dubai Design District, Building 6. Molecule is a good place for food and drinks. Price are acceptable compared to other lounges in the city and clubs for drinks. I would highly recommended and to join me every Thursday there for pre-drinks warm up before heading to the club.
We ordered 2 main courses: Beef Tartare served with home made french fries and Salmon. both meals are highly recommended. The Executive chef is Udo Moreau, Michelle Star.

We had heard a lot about Molecule. Would be a good place for food and drinks in winters but we didn't have the patience to wait that long. Ended up there for dinner on Thursday night. It was not too busy for a weekend night.
Interior is quite dark. Could be slightly more lit. Service is great.
We started off with Beef Charcuterie. It was a pretty decent portion for a starter. Enjoyed it a lot. Moved on to Chilean Seabass (pan seared) with roasted vegetables on the side and Lamb Rack. I was quite happy with my fish and veggies. My friend loved the lamb chops. Portions were sizeable which left us with no appetite for desserts. We had a couple of drinks and decided to take the party some place else.
Will I go there again....maybe not. But if you want to try something in d3, Molecule is definitely a great choice.

The atmosphere is wonderful. The interior is amazing. It's a great choice for chilling with a few drinks with friends after work hours.
The food was a little disappointing though, considering that the cuisine is French. Portions are extremely small for the price you pay and don't taste that great. Salad was very good though.

Went there today for brunch, only to find out their brunch was drinks-based, with an additional charge to include a 3-course meal. My friend and I weren't planning to drink so we decided on the a la carte instead.
For starters we had the tuna tartare and the burrata. Loved the cute little quail egg on the tartare and the different types of tomatoes (I think) really complimented the burrata.
For mains, we had the salmon and beef tartare with mashed sweet potatoes. The mashed was more like pureed, but it was delicious! Never would have thought to put coconut milk in mashed potatoes, but now that I've had it I'm thinking "why not!" Loved it!
Then we had dessert...passion fruit tart and brioche perdu (?) with vanilla ice-cream. Yum! You could see the vanilla seed speckled in the ice-cream and it went really well with the french-toasted brioche (was as fluffy as a pancake). Oh and there were some berries on there too, so of course it was healthy lol!
After a three-course meal we were definitely stuffed, but in a content way, not in a I'm-going-to-regret-eating-so-much way. Our server, Geri (sp?) was engaging, making recommendations on dishes to try, sharing comments about the music, but not over-bearing. Thank you Geri!
The ambience was also nice. It wasn't crowded so it wasn't noisy either. My friend thought the music was a bit repetitive, but I enjoyed it. It wasn't distracting from our conversation and it was pleasant enough to come back to during the silent moments.
The total bill was a bit more expensive than I expected and there is a municipality tax included.
Wasn't planning on such a long review, but it was a nice experience to share.
Dubai Design District (D3), is one of the newest developments in Dubai, catering for the art and design community. Situated at the opposite side of the Creek to Dubai Mall, it’s fast-becoming a real hotspot, with a plethora of restaurants and cafes that are enjoyed by the creative businesses who have set up there. The challenge though, is attracting people from outside the vicinity as it is located in a slightly trickier area than say, the Marina or Downtown. On Thursday night, a good buddy and I opted to go check the area out and see what all the excitement was about.

I must be the last person to visit Dubai Design District or d3 as it is popularly known. d3 is the new hipster district in Dubai dedicated to design, fashion and luxury. Its a creative community that engages and promotes local and global design talent. Dubai Design District is home to eclectic dining options. One eatery that has created a lot of buzz in d3 is Molecule. This venue introduces to Dubai, the concept of Bistronomy, which means gourmet food in a casual setting.

Molecule is one of the few places that challenges what a restaurant is. Is it a place where you eat, pay the bill and walk away? From where I come from, the memorable eateries are those that make you feel at home. There's no point in dining somewhere where you can be more comfortable and eat a far better meal in your residence. Well, for me Molecule has become almost like a second home. The manager, Kaska or James is always first to greet us and even spend some time at our table inquiring about our comfort and satisfaction. I have to say, what I look forward to most as the lunch hour approaches is to spend time with these wonderful individuals.
In addition to their incredible hospitality and high level of service is the quality of the food and its value. The food takes a modern approach with a heavy french accent. Everything from the starters to the dessert are meticulously crafted. I come here about 3-4 times a week so you could say I've tasted everything on the menu. There are a few things which are really extraordinary in every sense of the word. One is the molecule salad. It's one of the few cases where judging a book by its cover applies. It's beautiful and creative presentation is the epitome of the taste and texture this dish offers. The aubergine is another example of great synergy between beauty and taste. One of my favorite mains has to be the lamb rack. Great portion, always very well cooked and accompanied with roasted garlic that just melts in your mouth.
You can't leave this place without one of their great desserts though. Their pastry chef is there for a reason : to bring a little piece of France to your table. I'm typically not a big dessert fan during lunch time but the quality and taste of these french delicacies make it hard to overlook.
Ok, that all sounds fantastic and perhaps a bit biased. Where can Molecule improve?
1. drinks - cocktails are sometimes not consistent. When you order the same cocktail 2 or 3 times consecutively you expect the same taste and consistency.
2. curb side appeal - it's hard to appreciate the amount of design and investment that has gone towards the inside of the restaurant when the exterior of the venue conceals its interior. Understandably, part of it has to do with the fact that venues that carry an alcohol license need to create a visual barrier from the restaurant; however, there are various ways to mitigate this and still show people that a great exciting restaurant / lounge is waiting on the other side of the fence. Places like Boca in the DIFC create a great sense of intrigue and excitement by lighting a landscaped vertical wall and creating a suspended string light over the patio which ultimately draw people in.
3. Set menu - understanding the main draw of people are from the office above, the set menu should be flexible enough to make people want to come several times a week. Once you've come to Molecule a handful of times you'll want to try something new. Other restaurants in D3 like Chez Charles and even One Life provide a different daily set menu. I think they keep things exciting in that fashion and make you want to attend despite of the day of the week.
These are small things that will keep Molecule relevant and draw more and more people as this new kid on the block gains the reputation of being on of Dubai's best of.

Beatiful venue, good atmosphere and the food was excellent. My wife and i had a very nice experience. Our dishes wre perfectly cooked - we had the lamb rack and the chef's special of the day - a very tasty and tender piece of Veal. Not to be missed, the Mysterious Arabica for dessert.

Located in the newest design district of Dubai, the new Molecule restaurant is just what you need to experience exquisite French dining along with being a good alternative to go lounging as well. It is a very fresh addition to the d3 food hub. . The restaurant owes its conception to French Chef Udo Moreau, who has also worked in several Michelin-starred restaurants. Boasting a menu of French and classic International cuisines, the restaurant provides all the basics: a full bar, an outdoor seating area and beautiful interiors.
Lamb rack is to die for, and the burrata is fantastic too. Great decor, great music - just a bit dead as D3 isn't too lively in the evenings

Molecule – You may have not heard term ‘Bistronomy’ but recently it is been introduces by a very unique and new French restaurant Molecule. The name itself give an urge to visit and try the place. Recently I tried this unique and quirky café and here is my take. Dubai design district is known for some great collections of restaurants in the premises and Molecule is adding one more gem in it. The ambiance is very classy and divided into outdoor and indoor seating, along with a funky bar. The wall art is done beautifully.
I rarely write reviews but this had to be said. Molecule is what we were waiting for in Dubai. A human size restaurant that has it all: great food with fresh seasonal ingredients ( i could taste the difference), amazing music, great vibes, cool waiters ( who can dance!) and truly interesting interior decor. But for once this combination comes at a reasonable price. A place i can go to as often as I want, for lunch or dinner without splashing out and always satisfied.

D3 is a world by itself and these beautiful cafes make the place even more amazing. Molecule is a creatively done up place serving some excellent food. This was one of those meals that not just makes the tummy happy but also the heart.
I was here one weekend afternoon for lunch. The place is not difficult to find and there is ample parking. The staff are very friendly and are great with their suggestions. We were served by Victoria who was fab !
We started with the mocktails and called for a Mediterranean Cruz that has green apple juice, lime juice, cucumber, basil and passion fruit puree. We also called for a Bee Heart Honey that has beetroot juice, passion fruit puree, honey and lime juice. These combinations are unique and stand out for sure. We asked for less ice in them and were served some amazingly refreshing and healthy drinks.
We started the meal with a Molecule Salad. This is a signature salad and not to be missed. Great looking and tastes even better with fresh carrots, celeriac, fennel, chicory, baby gem and a hazelnut-almond dressing. There are crunchy tomato-oregano chips that take this salad to the next level.
I had seen pictures of the Aubergine and called for it even though I am not a big fan of this vegetable. The Aubergine with labneh and pomegranate stole my heart and mind. I could not believe that a simple vegetable can be served in such an innovative way and taste so great.
For the mains, we had the Chilean Seabass. This was an absolute fresh piece of seabass made to perfection with lemon, capers and parsley. For the sides I called for their famous mashed potatoes and wok vegetables. The mashed potatoes is so good that it is irresistible.
We also called for a Lamb Rack with green salad on the side. We asked for the lamb to be well done and believe you me, these are one of the best lamb chops I have had - juicy, succulent and flavourful. The mashed potatoes goes very well with this as well.
We ended the meal with a surprise dessert - Mysterious Arabica. It is indeed mysterious as the dessert is covered with the chocolate disk and hot chocolate is poured on it to expose the milk chocolate ganache , confit pear and arabica ice cream inside. This combination is a super wow and for sure is a must have over here !
