They helped uabin choosing the best veg options from the menu and it was so flavourful. We started with spicy manchow Soup, honey chilli potatoes and Chinese Bhel was one of the best Chinese Bhel in Dubai. In Mains we had hakka noodles with veg manchurian with Virgin mojito and fruit punch. The drinks were quite refreshing and increased the overall taste of the food. The best part of the entire meal was the sizzling Brownie which was served with a dollop of ice cream and marshmallows. I must say this place deserves a perfect 5 star without any second thought. Situated in City max Hotel this indo chinese restaurant is a must visit.

The male staff standing at fried chicken, fish & dumpling counter had a very rude behaviour and refused to serve noodles which was at live cooking counter. The Sumo chicken was nice, excellent flavours tried by the chefs. The prawn tempura was decent, crispy and delight, loved the presentation as well. The chilli salsa adds more flavour too. The Chinese bhel was a nice take on the the indo desi culinary mix, got the flavours and the desi spice was on point. Further we ordered their Nasi goreng, a bold take which ticks all the boxes, In flavours ingredients, and portion size. If your expecting a fine nasi, this is the the place for you. For desserts the fried ice creme, and asian fruit salad were ideal pair to complete a fine evening here. The service was excellent and it was great to see the team of chefs keep coming on our table, which was a fine touch to the experience here I felt. This is one of my favourite places for chinese. I am a Chinese lover and I love this place. Located in the Citymax Hotel in Mankhool, it's ambience is very relaxed and has friendly staff.

This is a usual place, they changed their menu recently and so had to visit and give my review. They have removed some of the good dishes from the menu like the prawn toast which was heart breaking and the place n ambiance also some changes have been made.. I am not so happy with the ambience as I liked the previous ambience more. The food is so so.. good for a family dinner with drinks.. affordable on pocket if you have Shukran card as u get additional 30% off on drinks n food. All together a good experience. I ordered chilli beef, basil chicken, corn fry n drinks.

Good service, with a very hospitable staff. The steam dumplings were not very flavorful and was doughy. The krispy fish, was a decent portion but a bit salty. The steam veg with tofu lacked flavor and the tofu didn’t hold it’s form. We also ordered spring rolls but forgot to take a pic, but was decent nevertheless. There was a great deal for a pint of beer, which we took advantage of. The ambiance was a bit dated and there was this lingering smell of cigarette which was unappealing. Not sure that we’ll visit again. Therefore, I’ll give it 2 1/2.

Good memories from this place, used to be a regular one pre COVid. A decent ambience, really good staff who remember their customers and amazing food. What more can you ask for!! For a Mumbaikar like me perfect place to relish desi chinese flavors. Some of our regular orders are manchow soups, paneer and chicken chilly dry. Goes well with the drinks on the menu!!

An Asian cuisine restaurant located in Mankhool. A huge variety of dishes on the menu, left me spoilt for choice.<br/><br/>Prawn Dimsums & Chicken Dimsums (Highly Recommended. Steamed Dimsums with a delish filling, served with a garlic chilli sauce)<br/>Chinese Bhel (Very well made and super spicy)<br/>Dynamite Shrimps (Though the shrimps were cooked well, would’ve liked more sauce since the dish was dry)<br/>Drums of Heaven (The chicken was tender and the flavour was good)<br/>Tempura Prawns (Golden fried prawns served with a sweet chilli salsa)<br/>Shrimp Laksa (Highly Recommended. Visited this place for dinner. Nice ambience, quite a vast space with nice decor. The service was spot on. For food we ordered : Chinese bhel, steamed chicken dumplings, prawns tempura and shrimp laksa . For drinks got the fruit punch . Personally I LOVED everything that was served and would recommend it. The Chinese bhel was spicy and nice which i quite enjoyed and the laksa tasted really good, the flavors were well balanced. I definitely and highly recommend this place .

Last week, March 6th, my little princess Ashley celebrated her 2nd birthday. Overall, i am so happy with the experience, the venue, the food, the staff, specially Cecile and her team (Roxane). <br/><br/>Cecile showed me the place, explained the package to me, and even gave me some ideas on how to decorate the venue. What an amazing meal we had at this amazing restaurant in city max hotel! Love the way we are served, absolutely with utmost care, even a small feedback like less salt had them compelled to change the entire drink! What I loved the most are the following dishes- dimsums, the chicken salad, laksa, noodles (noodles are made in-house), drumsticks, I don’t have beef but my friends did go gaga about the beef chilly fry as well. <br/>I would highly recommend this place for a family dinner or get together the portion are good so it value for money absolutely! <br/>I love desserts and the in-house chefs creation - cream fruit bowl (coconut cream) took me to food heaven!

Roast Duck with Honey & Chilli Flakes: Crispy duck, flavorful combination of the sauces, some sautéed vegetables, good quantity - yummy and value for money.<br/><br/>2. Chilli Chicken: a good dish to order when having it along with both fried rice and noodles and the quantity was good enough to share. <br/><br/>3. Szechuan Chicken Noodles: the large portion dish is good to share between 2-3 people. Tasted good given the Asian-Chinese flavors and priced right. <br/><br/>Unfortunately, though Entertainer vouchers are accepted on main courses - noodles category isn’t included. Everything was beyond expectation. Very helpful and courteous staff. Especially to roxan who’s always checking if everything is okay on our table. The restaurant is very good for family along with their kids because the staffs are very fond with kids. Oh , and dont forget their very kind incharge, cecil. Her service is over the top. We can see that she manages the restaurant very well. <br/>Lets talk about food. One of my favorite food is drums of heaven, stir fried veg in hot garlic sauce and their homemade steamed dimsums. Had my wedding reception at Sizzling Wok. Very good ambiance and so delicious food with the unmatchable hospitality showed by Ms. Cecile who's truly asset of the restaurant. Fabulous kabayan dinner We had a lovely dinner at this restaurant. All the staff are so accommodating and hospitable. Kudos to Ms. Cecile the in charge of the restaurant for giving us a warm welcome. One place always comes to my mind when I think about Noodles and some friendly place to go with family. Everytime I go there they will always surprise me with something exceptional which always owes my respect. Need to mention staff and in particularly @Lakshman who always welcome us with a great smile. Food was mouthwatering and Yummy(Thanks to Lakshman who suggested those starters).

What should I say when I had to spend 2 hours for lunch and all I ordered was a soup and a couple of main course dishes. It took them 30+ mins to jump from soup to mains. Hakka noodles were oily like anything. There were only 2 staff members attending what seemed to be a full house at peak lunch hours.

A very drab and deary place. Both the food and décor are pretty similar, which is depressing. Its becoming a bit difficult to find a good Chinese outlet in the city; this place certainly isn't.

My go to place for Thai green curry for ever in Dubai. Loved each dish. I can customize it and the ingredients are so fresh and tastes yumm. Chef even customizes if you have any food preferences.

It was an amazing evening, ambience & sitting arrangement is quite good. Food is dammm delicious specially chilly honey crispy potato fries😋. Mouthwatering food and everything was sooooo tasty except fried ice cream. Fried ice cream should be crispy outside and cold inside but outer layer was not crispy.<br/>Very courteous and humble stuffs, all over my experience was very very good because after a long time I had such a tasty and delicious foods👍

Another great Chinese restaurant we found yesterday Sizzling Wok.<br/>It was my daughter's birthday yesterday so me and my husband decided to there. We really enjoyed the delicious food and a good atmosphere.<br/>The quantity and the quality of the food was excellent . Had great time with great food and great discount too. The staff was very friendly. We were served by Lakshman. The time taken for the food to be served was quick. Great service by Lakshman. Plus they gave us dessert for free because of my daughter's birthday. Dessert was so yummy that I couldn't stop my hands.<br/>Overall the great experience I must say. If you are looking for a delicious Chinese and a pleasant ambiance you should go to Sizzling Wok.

Visited this restaurant on a Friday night evening and it was crowded. We visited this place for lunch on a Saturday afternoon. Our server Mr. Vijay served us some prawn crackers along with the menu. We first ordered a Fruit Punch And Pina Colada to refresh ourselves.<br/><br/>For the appetizers, we tried their Spring Rolls, Crispy Tempura vegetables and Steamed Dim Sum. The appetizers were piping hot and were a great start to our Chinese lunch.<br/><br/>The main course was a little elaborate - Schezwan Fried Rice, Veg Manchurian, Paneer Chili, Chili Fish Dry, Crispy Lamb in Honey Chili Sauce and Sizzling Wok Special Fried Rice. Although the food was delicious, it was not served at the right temperature. We wished it was served hot like the appetizers. Visited the restaurant for dinner yesterday. The food is good and reasonably priced because they accept Zomato Gold 1+1 or 30% discount for Shukran card holders. But what was a rip-off was the price of soft drinks & Water. A small 300ml Coke is priced at Dhs 20/- and small water bottle at Dhs. 9/-. This is no way for the restaurant to be making money when the food is otherwise reasonably priced. They must review these outrageously high prices for soft drinks & Water. So be sure to check the prices before you order because one doesn’t normally check the prices of these before ordering assuming that prices would be reasonable.

This place has the most beautiful ambiance. Light music was played in the background. Special mention to our server Mr.Vijay he was very informative and polite. He made sure we had a beautiful evening. They have buffet options for breakfast and lunch. People can also throw birthday parties and office party here.<br/>Prices are reasonable and u can use Shukran card to avail 30% discount. Quality and quantity is amazing. Food was served hot and fresh. They also have bar options.<br/><br/>Dishes ordered:<br/><br/>1)Hot and sour chicken soup- It is the best hot and sour chicken soup I have ever had. it had well-maintained flavor and wasn't that spicy. The vegetables were fresh and crispy and the chicken pieces were well cooked. the consistency was good.<br/><br/>2)Prawns in pepper sauce- It was served hot, fresh and spicy the prawns were well cooked in the sauce. it has the perfect amount of spices. it is a dream come true for a seafood lover.<br/><br/>3)Drums of heaven- It wasn't that oily and it was well cooked. The sauce they cooked it in wasnt spicy and it was perfect. The quantity they had given was a lot and it was extremely mouth-watering.<br/><br/>4)Chicken dumplings- The chicken dumpling was steamed and the filling inside the dumplings was amazing. Its best eaten with the sauce thats served with the dumplings.<br/><br/>5)Chicken noodles- The quantity of the noodles was a lot in my opinion. the chicken and the noodles went well with each other. the vegetables were crispy and the noodles wasnt oily at all. one of the best noodles I have ever had <br/><br/>6)Chicken prawn fried rice- The fried rice had a good consistency of prawns and chicken in it. it had the right amount of spices in it and was very mesmerizing. in my opinion, I prefer noodles over fried rice.<br/><br/>7)Chicken in red chilli garlic sauce- It's one of the off-menu options the chef had recommended it to us and specially prepared it for us and I have to say that I really enjoyed this dish. I really recommend it.<br/><br/>8)Raspberry cheesecake- The cheesecake is freshly made in the bakery down below. The cheesecake was really good and the Rasberry on top of the cheesecake was really delicious.<br/><br/>8)Fried ice cream- The fried ice cream concept is basically a fried layer and on the inside it has vanilla filling inside it. i enjoyed the cheesecake more than the fried ice cream

Also, a cute golden cat piece welcoming you in! There is plenty of space and I could imagine having a party here too!<br/><br/>On our arrival, we were given complimentary franks along with Chinese sauces to munch on. We had certain preferences which we shared with our server and he also suggested some amazing dishes/ drinks based on that.<br/><br/>Started off with Manchow soup which was perfect, since we wanted it to be less spicy - it just had the right flavors.<br/><br/>I wasn't expecting much out of the salt and pepper corn since its a usual nice crispy dishes at all Indo-Chinese places. But oh boy, this was the ultimate here, coated with egg - it was lip-smackingly good and unique, kudos to the chef!<br/><br/>The steamed dimsums are a must-try too here, made to perfection. accompanied with delicious sauce. I found the portions perfect for 2-3 people<br/><br/>Stir fry vegetables accompanied by Hakka noodles made the best main course - again, nice big portions. I really loved how the stir fry had a variety of veggies which tasted so flavourful in the sauce, we chose to have the sweet and sour sauce (which is more on the sweeter side but perfect with the noodles).<br/><br/>It's one of the rare places in and around the area which serves fried ice cream and was pretty good. I wish the outer cover was thicker and crispier but my favorite dessert.<br/><br/>Last but not least, had Chinese tea, what a cute tea pot and it was perfect to have after dessert to balance the sweetness. Recommend this!<br/><br/>As for beverages, for a light cocktail, I feel the classic mojito is the best but if you are in the mood for a stronger drink, the 'bartender' definitely makes the best bullfrog!<br/><br/>For the food served and everything else, the prices seemed just perfect, knowing that this place has zomato gold - well it's a steal deal!

I tried to challenge myself on the rating, wondering if I was being too liberal. But I couldn't reason why the rating should be any lower.<br/>The staff was extremely nice and ensuring we were at comfortable. They took special efforts to arrange for the best table. Vijay particularly who serviced us for the evening, was very prompt and keen to help us out.<br/>Very thoughtfully he suggested we start off with drinks and we placed an order for a bullfrog and a Horgaarden.<br/>To accompany our drinks they served us plain and prawn crackers which went super with the sauces.<br/>We received our drinks shortly, post which we placed an order for starters- honey chilli potatoes, drums of heaven and chilli chicken. All of it was lipsmackingly delicious. We were famished and finished it all.<br/>Then we placed an order for mains which included chicken Hakka noodles, egg fried rice and veg Manchurian. Can I give 6 out of 5??? Yes, this place deserves a rank wayyyyyy above the first rank. What do you expect from a restaurant? Quality of ambience, attitude and disposition of the waiting staff, time to attend on you, time to serve, quality and taste, portion sizes, and above all the Sevice with a smile. Laxman the Server/Wait staff was as always very prompt and ensured our orders were brought quickly- freshly done . The cuisine at Sizzling Wok is primarily Indian type Chinese and if you fancy this type then you’ve reached the right place. Chef Jeevan from Nepal is a magician as only a professional can maintain consistency in taste and quality. Do try the Manchow Soup and the Drums of heaven. Soup is quite wholesome, I wish the portions are made little more bigger 😁. Main entree portion size is sufficiently good. <br/><br/>Large open spaces so good for family with kids and also for an evening with friends. Do look up Lacman and ask for Chef Jeevan for that extra touch when you do visit .<br/><br/>Bon Appetit !<br/><br/>

Best desi-Chinese in town. Our favourite dish was the Crispy Chilli Beef, but the rest were also good. I really like he fact that they have small portions so we could try more dishes. We had chicken dumplings, honey garlic prawns and the beef for starters. All excellent. The highlight of our mains were the special fried rice and chilly chicken. Washed it all down with some beer and cider. The total bill was under AED300 incl. Our drinks. Super affordable. Definitely recommend.

One my first visit there I had their crispy duck with honey & chilly. It was delicious and I'd definitely visit the place again just to have it! Along with it got Schezwan fried rice as well as paneer. I highly recommend this place to all the paneer lovers out their. Totally unexpected but absolutely delicious food there!

Over rated restaurant. Very limited menu. Chewy dimsums, not so crispy crispy beef....   Portion sizes are good. Seating is very uncomfortable with poorly designed tables with huge centre legs that do not give any leg room.

Great ambiance for a relaxed and quiet Chinese dinner. Tried a variety of things as it was a pre-booked special event dinner. The whole meal was delicious, the chilly chicken and rice and Hakka noodles, but the starters like the crispy corn and crispy chicken were our favorites from the lot. Good restaurant. Nice ambience. Food is good but not all dishes. I didn't like their Hot & Sour soup and Schezwan rice. But mixed noodles, chilli chicken , chilli paneer was delicious.

Sizzling wok has always been my favorite place to dine. We usually visit this place every other month. We tried almost all vegetarian 🌱 menus and, it never failed to impress us. My favorite starters are Crispy Corn, Manchurian dry or gravy , Paneer Chilli. Schewan Fried Rice 🍚 and Hakka Noodles 🍝 are must-try main course.

Colour me satisfied any day after a good portion of Chicken Lollipops (Drumstick of Heavens) and a delightful assortment of Dimsums (Veg, Chicken, Prawn - your choice). They had given instructions to heat the food and how to store it.<br/><br/>The malay curry was very good and flavourful without being spicy which is exactly what we were looking for. Hie so I tried, tomyum soup, chicken dim sums and chicken Hakka noodles. Apart from the dim sums , the soup & noodle taste really horrible. Please look into your recipe as this is not how Chinese food should taste. It was a really bad experience.

First of all Ankit (I hope I’m spelling it correct) the guy at reception was really helpful and looked like someone who really loves his job. We actually wanted to go to huddles and he helped us out of the way to make a reservation. We were a bit hungry & early so tried out this place. Its was a treasure. You should definitely visit. The food was made with really good quality and fresh ingredients. Next time will go for a proper filling lunch.

The Hong Kong Chicken Sizzler, again served in a hot sizzler plate was cooked beautifully in a soy-garlic sauce and served with a rainbow of vegetables. I was very much looking forward to the Chicken Ramen noodles, and they surely did not disappoint. The curly noodles, along with a hearty helping of bean sprouts, shiitake mushrooms and spring onion were delicious with the warm broth. If there's one thing off the menu I'd recommend, it's that! All dishes served to us were generously portioned, fresh and flavoursome.  <br/> <br/>Through out our time at the restaurant, the staff were extremely courteous and service was always prompt and efficient. They were also kind enough to order for us their two best desserts : Brownie Sizzler and Fried Ice cream. The Brownie sizzler was a chocolate brownie with a scoop of ice cream, served on a hot sizzler plate with chocolate sauce poured on top. However, it was the Fried ice cream that was most memorable, as it was a scoop of cold vanilla ice cream, coated in a golden brown fried crust.  Both desserts were perfect for sharing. <br/> <br/>I do not remember seeing a Kids section on the menu, and would have loved to see that. Another really great Chinese restaurant. Their service and ambience is awesome but I doubt there would be a problem since they're located in a hotel. <br/><br/>We ordered Tom Yum Prawn Soup, Sweet Corn Chicken Soup, Prawn Dim Sum, Som Tom Salad, Chicken Satay, Chilli Chicken, Crispy Lamb, Sauteéd Chicken in Schezuan Sauce, Chicken Hakka Noodles, Chicken Fried Rice and Sizzling Wok Special Fried Rice. We also ordered Lemon Lime Spritzer which is a must try and for dessert a Fried Ice Cream. <br/><br/>Their quantity (except for the fried ice cream!) is adequate and the food tastes fresh. However, it is a bit on the pricey side but they do have some card offers. A good place to celebrate an occasion.
