It was not worth trying Hassan Mattar the quantity of chicken inside was very less and also the taste was average !! But the juice called "HELLO" was good in taste which had a mixture of stawberry , mango and Vanilla Ice cream. This place does not have a seating arrangement you need to honk to get the order in your car and on weekends you need to wait for your order for a longer time.

One of Dubai’s most overrated restaurants with top class pathetic food.. we went to ijaza, waited for approx 20 mins on the road.. ordered hassan matar, shawarma and special chicken burger.. overrated prices, pathetic food and currently we all are facing digestion issues coz of their food.. would rate 1/10.. not to visit them again.. wish I could rate them negative.. DO NOT VISIT THIS PLACE AGAIN..

Al Ijaza Cafeteria is known for their Hassan Mathar. I’d say its one of the best Hassan Mathars in Dubai and are priced at 7.50 AED now. Apart from this, they have a good variety of sandwiches, wraps and fresh juices/smoothies, which are all reasonably priced. I recommend trying their Hassan Mathar, Avacado juice and chicken club sandwich. They are open till 4AM in the morning and there is generally a waiting time of 10-15 minutes in the evenings.

I ordered chicken spicy shawarma, a shawarma platter, special club sandwich, onion rings, falafel, nutella frappe Starting with spicy shawarma. It was just ok. Not that great or something. Worth the cost. So not much to complain Then the shawarma platter was again decent. But I was amazed at the size of garlic paste. For whole shawarma platter u send me ultra small garlic paste. Amazing !!!! Then comes the sandwich which was the best and worst And sandwich is one of the main reason i am giving you one star. I clearly mentioned on zomato that I dont need tomatoes. I personally even called and mentioned I dont need tomatoes and the other person even acknowledged and guess what my sandwich is filled with tomatoes. If it would he without tomatoes I would have give u 5 stars. Nutella frappe was amazing and really nice. Also on call I asked for some extra garlic sauce and he mentioned he cant send as I haven't placed order. Like I have placed order via zomato and I cant edit. You should try to understand. Morever my order was 100 aed. Atleast consider and send me and I will pay. I dont want your free garlic sauce or a favour. And with a shawarma platter you cant send 5ml small garlic sauce. It's not a match at all. And running a restaurant is not about just making food but understanding the need of guests. I clearly mentioned on zomato and even personally called and mentioned I dont need tomatoes. What more do you want me to do. I am never recommending nor ordering ever from this restaurant. Your food would be amazing but you need to work on other areas sir.

Best Hassan Mattar in town. No arguments. I would ride to Jumeirah and walk for a couple of minutes just to grab their specialty. Cheap but exquisite. I noticed that there were a lot of staff that the area seemed crowded, must be for fast service, but they were hospitable. This could be a staple meal.

Their hassan matar is really good. Didn't get a chance to try anything else, but will soon. They have a new branch on Kite Beach a little ahead of Filli Tea. I would recommend this one as you can get parking easily.

Love this place for quick bites, snacks and drinks on late weekend nights! Highlights: It's right next to a small secluded beach entrance. you can also take parcels and sit by the beach and enjoy your meal. Food The Chicken Spicy Shawarma, hummus and chicken fillet sandwich are just amazing! Mango Juice is also refreshing after all the heavy eating. Ambience is average so mostly I prefer take outs. Al Ijaza Cafeteria is one of those unexplainable culinary phenomena of Dubai. Located beside the Bint Al Murr Mosque on Beach Road (opposite Mercato) in Jumeirah 1, the only reason one would pay attention to this unassuming roadside eatery is the eye-popping line of exotic automobiles queued to pick up their shawarma takeaways. The outdoor-only seating area is fine at this time of year but hellish in the summer; although they (thankfully) install blowers on either end of the dining area to keep diners cool. There’s a full-length chicken rotisserie just outside the kitchen area and shawarma spits just inside.

The Polaris is a classic. I’d recommend the hassan mathar if you’re looking for an Arabian calzone. The shish tawook mattar has got a lot more flavor in my opinion.

I was surprised to see the queue in the car outside the small restaurant in the midst of Jumeirah.had heard so much about this place and wanted to give it a shot.doesnt have seats inside and since its a lovely climate we also enjoyed having food from outside.we had their special well known expo 2020,abood and hasan mathar.all were superb.hasan matar i would recommend a bit more filling since the ones which were served had a slightly less filling but overall a nice food.take away will be recommended for those who doesnt like to sit outdoors and have food

After a good drinking session finally visited Ijaza. Was pretty good. Different from regular cafeteria. It was quite busy for a Sunday night. Fortunately got a table immediately. Ordered some kofta mathars, Hassan mathars (koftas chicken shawarma brother) and a ijaza special club. The latter was a let down as club sandwiches go. But the mathars were very good. Cheesy and hot saucy is how best to describe. Washed down with the rare but preferred Pepsi.

Its basically chicken, mayo and cheese filled inside 2 shawarma breads toasted well... very tempting as it also reminded me of cheese n chicken filled manakeesh which I have eaten back in India.. Also tried the chicken shawarma in a take away which got soggy due to eating post 1 hour.. but the taste was reasonably good.. Price is average and affordable.

If you don't know what that is, head down to Ijaza and I promise you will not be disappointed! One of the best juice shop (Cafeteria) around Jumeirah for cheaper rate. They have varieties of cocktails, shawarmas and burgers. Once Sheikh Hamdan visited and updated in his Instagram from this Cafeteria and that made this small Cafeteria quite famous. Loved their Beef Burger and Fazza juice. Definitely will go next time.
