This is a hidden gem in dubai who serves the best pakistani/indian desi food in reasonable prices and delicious in taste. I love their Biryani, bbq, qeema chanp is just love! Do try their food
I always order chicken biryani (spicy) and it is always a hit. Authentic pakistani taste. We just love it ♥️
Food: 10/10
Delivery: 10/10
Portion: 10/10
Was easy to order on the phone, delivered to Centro Rotana just behind them in less than half an hour.
The paratha was so hot it was hard to touch!
The parathas, channa and omelette were all delicious. Perfect balance of flavours.
Channa was not overly spicy and the halwa was not sickeningly sweet. And the omelette was well done as I had requested over the phone.
Will keep this place in mind when staying in Barsha again.
No frills desi subcontinent restaurant. Ambience needs to improve alot. Cheap eats options available.
Good taste.
Over pushy service though, with waiters continuously on your head.
Karahi was of good taste. Gulped down with Pakola. Gulab jaman was marvelous as well.
I can close my eyes and can eat any meal here...
I believe they’re serving authentic Pakistani food flavors... thank you
I have been to this restaurant last weekend with my family and friends and I would say this is one of the best places to enjoy Pakistani breakfast.
The food quality is amazing plus the prices are affordable besides that the staff is very cooperative and professional.
Note: Due to craving didn’t take the pictures.
I like desi breakfast and this restaurant is one of the best place to enjoy desi breakfast and food.
Food prices are very reasonable that's why all fully pack with customers. But their quality of food is very good.
Staff is simple but very hardworking 👏
Seating arrangement is good but due to high demand family area is small..
This restaurant serves the best Afghani pulao. I recently had a chance to try their Afghani pulao and it was out of this world. The taste was absolutely amazing. If you are a desi food lover then you must try this restaurant!
Kindly make a constant taste for ur biryani . It’s mostly plain coloured rice not spicy as it was before . Ur biryani taste is good but didn’t get same every time . Soo kinky check ur quality n taste .
Soo let me tell you , I am a big fan of this restaurant
I visited Dubai for my holiday vacation
And I tried this restaurant and the experience was just amazing, I visited 6 times in just 8 days of my holiday...
Beef paya was amazing, biryani, zarda roceand the best part was fresh salad
Must visit this restaurant, if you are non veg lover
Good food and good service at great prices. Thanks
Been here for a late night dinner during the weekend . We had rotis , mutton jalfrezi and lassi . The service was very quick . Mutton jalfrezi was excellent and went on well with the hot rotis . Lassi was good too . The staff are very courteous and attentive. This place is open for 24 hours and it was quite crowded though we visited past midnight . Reasonably priced, good food and good service .
Amazing breakfast if u like Pakistani food. And it’s open 24 hours. But if u want to get paya then u have to be there early. One of the best paya I have had in Dubai. They serve ‘fresh off the tava’ paratha, which are piping hot and taste awesome when dipped in tea. I want to keep coming back to this place for their breakfast.
Very friendly staff.
Good place for every day meal. Light on pocket and food is flavorful and cooked well. Sometimes oil is in abundance but you can ask them to keep it in check.

Been to quite a few Pakistani restaurants but this one really hits me, Really good Mutton Karahi dish, Beef behari boti was amazing, Many veg options, Aloo Gobi for my vegetarian friends, Rogni Naan, not to forget Pakcola, finished off with kheer, Karachi rabdi and real chai, authentic Pakistani food & hospitality, friendly service staff, will keep on visiting again
Good food with reasonable price. Lacks family seating, otherwise an everyday food place. Staff is friendly
Dish garnish with coriander leaves having authentic taste prepared in light spices in last have complimentary sweet rise. Must visit.
Good food, reasonable price, great service. Waiters really look after you. I will be back for more .
Kindly available option for selection of menu in zoomato because only call option is available.......
It's unfair to name another restaurant while reviewing one but here it's required to drive home the point. This restaurant falls in the category of a typical Pakistani Dhaba, and falls in the category of Ravi or Karachi Dhaba. This particular one though (and the one in Business bay) beats them hands down in two ways, taste and prices. Each and every dish here will make you overeat and come back the very next day. They run 24 hours and their breakfast is also amazing. Their rabdi and gajar halwa is die for and so is their kababs. If you like desi food you have to check this place.
Tried dum keema with nan. Average interiors.
Good location. Decent overall ambience.
Keema was soft and was cooked well.
Nan and tikka were nice.
Quite a few choices for a vegetarian. Sunday veg special is khadi & chawal. Daily evening samosas are yummy. Probably the best dhaal mash & mixed dhaal in town. Briyani rice is mild & cooked well. Overall value for money.
What a super el cheapo place. The food is authentic and very tasty. Good value for money and fast service. Could do with a good delivery service and perhaps cleaner loos. Other than that a good 9/10
No longer need to drive to satwa for yummy paya !
Prompt service .
Need to try the nihari next time .
Only thing was the waiter was hovering and literally I put my last bite in the mouth , and the bill was on the table . Didn’t even have the opportunity to ask for deserts . Their loss . I went for kulfi at kulfilicious ...
A fan of their kheema paratha and aaloo paratha. Its very easy on the pocket. Compliment it with laban. Makes a good hearty breakfast. Coming back soon.
Very good traditional Pakistani food. Tasty and great food. Awesomely quick service.👍A must go place for someone missing home food. Will come back soon. Paya, Karahi a must try !!!
This place is a hidden treasure. Hands down the best Pakistani restaurant in Dubai. Every dish here is distinctive that than the other and just as flavourful as the next. Ordered Mutton Peshawari, Mutton Chillie, Pulao, Nalli Nihari & Bihari Boti. The ultimate winner was Mutton Peshawari - never tasted anything like it! So flavourful, every bite is worth savouring! It's a must try! All the other gravies were just as flavourful and delicious. Not only is this place pocket friendly but every dish they serve is impressive and bursting of rich flavours. Complete bang for your buck!
Cheap, crowded, noisy, authentic...delicious!
Had butter chicken and some dal with naan. It was excellent and I will definitely visit again just for the butter chicken.
The restaurant is in the vicinity of Sarhad Darbar restaurant and serve similar range of dishes. It may not have the best ambience - crowded during peak and could be cleaner, but it’s the food that matters. All the gravy dishes I tried were top notch, be it mutton qorma, mutton kadai or the butter chicken (white gravy). The mutton pieces in the biryani could have been smaller but it tasted good otherwise. Rumaali roti has been removed from the menu but the tandoori naan is enough to enjoy. Great service.
super authentic and delicious food in all al barsha , specially channa with paratha , all ramadan i enjoy my sahur in this restaurant, quick service and generous portions compared to the price .
Ordered Iqbal's famous Keema Chops with some traditional Naan and some Dal forget the name and didn't click the picture too.
It was 💯 delicious ...
Pocket friendly place ...
P.s : Its always crowded, you will hardly find empty places during lunch and dinner time ...
While I just dropped by this restaurant accidentally during our search for a place serving fresh food at 2am but this unplanned stopover made it all worth it. If you want to try great Pakistani food and are bored of same old famous restaurants like R$@£€ or Sar&$€ Da$&@£ then this is the place.
Make sure to try Chicken Tandoori Handi , its amazing and best
Not to forget its super reasonable very economical. Kind of entry price point for great food
Visited this place on a weekday morning to try their breakfast. Perfect place with great ambiance.
Items tried:
Chana - 5/5
Keema Chaamp - 4/5
Haleem - 4/5
Nihari - 4/5
Paratha - 5/5
Chai/tea - 4/5
Will I come back here? Definitely Yes
Amazing haleem. Best breakfast place. Never get tired of going back. The parathas and meat is worth the wait especially at 4 in the morning.
This is my favourite go to place on weekends to get paratha, chana and omelette. Alu paratha is the best for me. Other items on menu are also quite good. Ambience is ok, but service is quick a d friendly.
I've never been to a more friendly restaurant than Iqbal's. Food tastes good. Superb services. Must recommend tea here. Their tea is on another level. I've been coming here for months now. Must visit.
This was purely a guilty pleasure for me last day..❤ Such Good Nihari after a long time..❤ For all of you who has been asking me what Nihari is , This is kind of stew where the meat is slow cooked along with the bone Marrow.
25 AED for a Plate and This is from M. Iqbal Restaurant, Al Barsha, Dubai.
They also serve some good lassi for AED 7.
In short , You can come of the restuarnt with a happy tummy and happy pocket.
Saying it is value for money would be an understatement. Not only are the kebabs and biryani bubbling with flavours, the vegetarian dishes are simply awesome as well. The ambience is not great for family but great for a lunch outing with colleagues.
One of the best food joint added to my list. The food is mouth licking may be it mutton karahi, chicken tikka, daal or the best afghani pulav. Still many more dishes to try hope to visit or order soon frm this place. Highly recommend to everyone.
Wow,,, nice food its really fresh ingredients with rightly cooked black dal with nice white till with lots of butter on paratha. Piping hot food in cold climate is amazing.
This restaurant is our favourite place to go with family and friends. Their satffs are so amazing and humble too. Regarding food they never disappoint us. I have tried nihari, keema, karahi and many more dishes. If you are craving for a good nihari in dubai then I'll definitely recommendig to try their nihari. Last but not least their gajar halwa is a bomb.
Amazing restaurant, visited their both Business Bay and Barsha outlets... Hats of to the team who serve food and the energy what they carry during their work ...they go out of the way to meet customers requirement.. visited almost 6 times and will continue ... paya, nihari, kababs biriyani and roti everything was top of the world experience

One of the best qeema paratha in town. Plus their biryani and pulao are also one of the best. Also their nihari and paaye are mind blowing with their butter naan
one of the hidden gems of dubai. I absolutely love the taste , service and price. we eat there atleast 3 times a week and always consistent😁 we live the rotis and karahis. meat cooked to perfection for niharis.
Writing this review only because the food the service of this restaurant compelled me to write about it.
Among all the budget food joints you wont find food that tastes better than you can find at this restaurant.
The parathas are beautiful the halwa is the best I’ve tasted outside home.
The food isn’t soaked in oil the spices are perfect. I would highly recommend this place.
Food Wins here
Had heard a lot about this restaurant so me and my friends decided to give it a try ... we ordered nihari, paye, haleem, alu paratha, qeema paratha and halwa ... Everything was very tasty ... there haleem was just ok but over all very good food and reasonable ... a good place to get food for big gatherings also ...
Perfect Price, Good taste and best till now in Business Bay. I love their taste authentic Pakistani and hope that they will maintain their food quality and prices as well.
Went to their Business bay resturant yeaterday night. Quality very much maintained. And food quality also amazing chicken and daal is favourite of everyone I belive. Kheer finally is too yummy.
Mr sultan M served very well and few things got repeating specially Raita.
Over all its a treat of Pakistani food to business bay people.
Very good food. Didn’t disappoint me at all honestly. A Karachite here who knows deep shit about food. That champ qeema thing was really tasty. A must go place!
This is one of the best value restaurants here in Barsha (also maybe Dubai). We have only requested deliveries until now though and found them to friendly and punctual. The food is absolutely amazing. Go ahead and order anything, you will not regret.
I've eaten at Iqbal a few times already. Me along with a group of friends had gone for lunch. We ordered the seekh kababs, mutton karahi, along with afghani pulao. We were short on time so everything was served promptly, with hot tandoori rotis. A very satisfying meal and light on the pocket.
Being a vegetarian, this restaurant has never dissapointed. Have pretty much tried all their vegetarian dishes and love the aloo gobhi, bhindi masala and chana daal. The service is just perfect and we often have a chat with our server on where in India we are from. Delivery is super quick too and the quantity of food is perfect for 2. Excellent food for a very low price!
Super authentic and delicious! Go for the Pulao rice, chicken butter with the Garlic break! Quick service and generous portions compared to the cheap prices. A must try!
They know how to give authentic taste in Low price..!
So talking about testy, its daily meal typo resturant
Each and everything in their menu is on point. Apart from biryani.
We have tried almost each and everything of this eatery.
They have best nihari and haleem and paratha channa nashta.
Ambience is pretty normal and there is no family sitting area. Which is the only bad thing about resturant
Overall 4.5/5
Taste 4.75
Worth of money 5/5
Ambience and sitting 3/5
We went for breakfast! We ordered nihari gravy only, haleem, laban and tandoor roti. The staff was friendly and hospitable. Since we went over there for the first time, the servers gave us complimentary suji halwa.
Nihari: 4 out of 5
Haleem: 2.5 out of 5
Tandoor roti: 5 out of 5
Al safa laban: 5 out of 5 of course!
Halwa: 4 out of 5.
The haleem had a more of a daal taste.
The quantity of haleem and nihari was very less compared to the size of roti. Despite ordering one nihari and haleem between 2 people with 2 tandoor roti, we ran out of nihari and haleem and had to complete half piece of tandoor roti without any gravy.
The tandoor roti was huge, crispy and hot from tandoor!!
The only negative is the portion size of nihari and haleem was too little!
Excellent spot for Lunch, food is served hot and delicious- tried the Mutton kadhai, chana dal and of course hot tandoori roti straight from the oven to ur plate.
Value for money. Food is tasty and they had 2 restaurant earlier all did good I had chance to eat in those also ... Chicken Afghani , Pullao is less spicy and tasty .
Nice Pakistani restaurant in al barsha. It was recommended by 1 of our family members. It was recommended to us to have fresh mutton Karahi. They cook it after we order so it takes approximately 40mnts to cook. We reached very late in the night so didn't want to wait for 40mnts. The staff zohaib recommended us to have mutton chops keema Karahi and mutton lahori with tandoori roti. Both the dishes were delicious. I liked the mutton chops keema karahi more. It was yummy. The price was also reasonable. Looking forward for my next visit to try a new dish in this restaurant.
Excellent friday morning breakfast. Enjoyed the halwa and the omelette made well. the service was very friendly and prompt. their grill items are also very good.
What a gem of a place. Two thumbs up on the quality of food, everything I've had from here has been amazing! It's budget friendly too. Quick service friendly staff, if you're looking for an authentic Pakistani food experience this is the spot to hit
Best Pakistani restaurant.Tried Halwa puri and brain masala and both are amazing. Will try more dishes soon
Very fast service and decent price
The only drawback is the seating arrangement for families
Excellent restaurant, tasty food, prompt and courteous service.
Ambience is average (and a bit garish) but the food and value for money factor is outstanding. While this gives the impression of a bachelor joint, it is very family friendly AND is open 24 hours.
What we’ve ordered (over multiple visits):
Nihari - as good as it gets.
Paya - very good, once you skim the excess oil off. These are the dishes that your doctor warned you against;)
Kheema - very good
Chana dal - wow!
Tandoori Roti - piping hot and soft
Biryani rice - good
Chai (tea with milk) - perfect wrap-up for a scrumptious meal.
A special shout-out for Zuhaib - his ‘customer happiness’ orientation is worth benchmarking.
Tried Bhuna Ghosht, was good as we required less spicy and less oily. Place is good as per sitting and prices.
Food 4/5
Price 4/5
Service 4/5
Of the best Pakistani Restaurants i have eaten. Their Chicken Tikka with Imly Chutney is one of the best and reminds me of Karachi Street Food. Till Date Whatever we have ordered i very good. The owners and Staff are very Friendly plus it is very easy on the pocket as well. I go there pretty often and recommend it to all who love Pakistani Street Food Especially Grill.
Chicken tikka and Kadai chicken were good. Tandoori roti was big and soft. Pocket friendly Pakistani restaurant in the locality and they do deliver on time.
great home style cooking! everytime i go i leave happy with a full tummy. The place is always packed with customers which is a good indicator of good food. Best Briyani ive had in this side of dubai, amongst kebobs and other dishes. DISREGARD the other hated reviews, and as they say - dont knock it till you've tried it!!
