We visited this little eatery over the weekend and loved it! The owner served us authentic vegetarian food and really knew what she was talking about. Absolutely loved the green tomato salsa - would go back just for that! Thanks El Mostacho!

A friend had been raving about this place for a while so when I got a chance to head to Dubai after 7 long months, El Mostacho was on the top of my list!
Our order - chips & guac, a platter of tacos consisting of barbacao, fried shrimp & lengua, tinga quesadillas and the choco-flan. The guacamole that accompanied the chips was the best I've ever had! It was fresh and bursting with flavor! Out of the tacos we tried, barbacao was my favorite. Barbacao is slow cooked beef, extremely juicy and flavorful and packs a punch. The shrimp was also a crowd favorite. The lengua (beef tongue) was a little different and is considered a delicacy. Honestly, the tacos are the most authentic ones I've had but my tastebuds have been accustomed to tex-mex that I missed the pomp and extra additions that come with a usual tex-mex taco. The choco-flan was a hit, the combination of a rich chocolate cake with the milky flan was a perfect flavor twist!
Verdict: When they say Mexican, they mean Mexican! The food is as authentic as it comes but if you've been very used to the tex-mex variety that is commonly available, this might not be your cup of tea.
Superb presentation, original taste. Authentic Mexican food without exaggeration. Must visit for the eggplant Tacos and Fresh Guacamole with chips.

Visited the Branch in Jumeirah . One of the best Mexican joints visited. The staff was friendly and even the chefs were accommodating. The food was tasty and affordable. Ordered platter of tacos and each taco was amazing and the guacamole was super yummy too oh and not to forget the desserts chocoflan something out of the box and churros were fabulous. Definitely will visit again and will recommend to try it out.

We went to the Dar Wasl Mall branch its the newly opened one. The ambience is great makes you really feel like you're in a Mexican restaurant. We started of with the tortilla chips with the Guacamole dip and that was good, but nothing special. I loved my soda lime it really complimented my dinner experience. The Burrito was great we ordered the tinga chicken and it was big enough for 2 people to enjoy. However, the taco i was disappointed with as I was expecting a proper taco shell yet ended up with these soft pizza looking taco and the taste was ok. Wouldn't recommend the Taco. The Quesadilla was good but I had better from other restaurant.
Over the place is not highly recommended and the food isn't that worth it and the bill was expensive in terms of the quality of the food.

I'm one that thinks to a point most Mexican restaurants are the same but, this is the best Mexican restaurant I've been to. The food is always hot and fresh even the carry out still tastes great after getting it back home. Most of the dishes is served with hot homemade nacho chips with salsa.
Special mention : The manager was very kind and explained us each and every dish.

I got "Burrito El Pastor" & "Horchata" deliver directly to the beach in The Pointe which it was amazing and so convenient.
The driver was so friendly and he was on time. He was wearing gloves and mask at all times.
Burrito was delicious & well stuffed. Full of ingredients.

We were in the mood for Mexican food and had heard a lot of good review about this place so thought of giving it a try.
Its a nice little cozy place with full of mexican vibe. We ordered trio of tacos and Enchiladas. We ordered 2 beef and 1 chicken taco. The filling were super juicy and packed with flavour and came with super crisph tortilla and salsa. Salsa was amazing the best i have had in Dubai. Enchiladas were served with rice Nd beans. They were soooo good.
We loved everything. The interior, the food and Lucia was super nice 😊
I love mexican food and specially tacos. I was really impressed with the freshness and size of tacos. Amazing flavours, l tried all vegetarian options as well as all seafood options. I will definitely order again. And the delivery was really fast too. I can only recommend!

I like Mexican food, so today I have decided to order from El Mustacho restaurant. I have ordered vegetarian quesadilla with corn, red pepper & cheese. On the side I had guacamole & sour cream. For dessert I have ordered churros with dulce de lece, which is my favorite Mexican dessert. Food was delicious!
I had a mix of different types of tacos, barbacoa, carne asada, shrimps and vegetarian. All of them were completely delicious! Do not doubt adding cheese crust to them really makes a difference on the taste.

El mostacho is one of the most authentic Taqueria in the gulf. The vibe of the place is so nice that reminds me of my trip to Mexico. Lucia is always willing to explaining about her food and the ingredients. The taste of the corn tortillas make the trip worth it! I recommend the chicken quesadillas and all the tacos. Specially the tongue (lengua) taco! My second favorite is barbacoa taco and third chicken al pastor. Even if you need a quick bite this is the plate. You won’t regret it. I almost forgot, they have Mexican Coke

This gem has become my go-to taco place. Having had barbacoa from different restaurant, hands down - this is THE MOST tastiest juiciest flavorful barbacoa I've had. The filling in every taco they serve is bountiful. must try if you are around JLT. The host and chef are warm people and they will help you with the choices of tacos.
Loved the food here. The staff were friendly. We also liked the fact that the food was cooked from scratch right infront of us. Only problem was that the place was too tiny.
Carne Asada burrito was flawless - it was chockful trendy beef strips with good punchy flavors.
Chicken quesadilla was good, but had more subdued flavour profile next to the burrito. Nothing that couldn’t be fixed with their trio of hot sauces.

Very friendly staff and welcoming. The place is in the corner by the entrance. The seating places are limited, but the place remains cozy and had great vibes.
The best thing about the place is the quick service, the worst thing is the variety & prices.
For a Mexican restaurant, I found the meal variety is limited and the prices are slightly high for what you get. 29 AED for a small smoothie, I think it's not great value for money, especially that it was already blended and put in the fridge.
We enjoyed our time, and found the place to be cozy, yet we would pay the same amount of money for an authentic Mexican experience.

Found this place looking for some good Mexican food in Dubai. It was pretty good. The seating was very nice, the service was good and the serve time was quick. I would recommend the barbacoa burrito. Recommended and I will be back.

Mexi-can, El Mostacho sure-can! Chef Emanual and Chef Rodel & very friendly Mohammad, the superviser were all fantastic. Food was even better, my 3 kids absolutely loved it. The staff went out of their way to make our dining experience amazing. 5 stars!

After 21 years in dubai IVE FINALLY FOUND A GOOD TACO PLACE. I can’t describe my joy. Now yes I would’ve been way happier if the tacos were bigger. But why matter moser. The taste. Was absolutely Devine. The prices were great too. And I love the authentic design I had the lunch combo.
