I go to distillery quite often, as I live few buildings away. They used to have the best veal ribs in the world! I really hope they will bring it back soon. This time we tried the steak, which was also delicious! I love the spices they put on the fries, and the green beans were just amazing! Crunchy and tasty! It’s a small place, with very friendly staff and great atmosphere. Highly recommend it!
Cozy bar with amazing drinks and great ambience. Perfect for a date night or night out with friends. Will visit again. Loved their cocktails and burger. Service was equally good, waiters paid attention to your requirement.
This gastro pub located in Manzil Downtown has a rustic vibe to it with the amazing DJ Lewis to hype it up! I loved this old school pub as the vibe, the food, and atmosphere turns out to be so much better than the 2000’s pubs around Dubai. 1920’s Brunch is available on Friday only from 8pm to 11pm at Distillery. With unlimited “Bourbon Street Cocktails” along with Small Plates and Mains, this brunch is perfect except for the fact that there is no dessert included.

Stepping into Distillery is like going back in time to the local pubs of Louisiana. Dark aesthetic vibes with live music blaring in the background already set the tone for an upbeat night. Loved the setting with colourful (but empty!! 😉) glass bottles all around, steel drums and a live DJ on a Friday night. Check out the video here.

I love this place located in Manzil Downtown. DJ was playing some great hits and the service is amazing. Not a huge place but definitely a great one to down a few drinks with friends over some great music.
The thing I loved is that they have an offer every other night - for all sorts of things. We went for the Ladies (100) night - where we were served 3 drinks and a snack platter each. I absolutely was in awe of the bartender because drink after drink he was amazing us with his creations - be it an alcoholic drink or otherwise. He didn't shy away from using peculiar flavor such as lavender, which really made us appreciate his talent.
The snack platter was quite good! I don't eat octopus but a part of the platter consisted that and surprisingly, it was not bad at all! The chicken caesar croquettes were hands down my favorite! Melt in the mouth amazing. The third on the platter was arancini mushroom truffle which was another amazing snack. The truffle favorite was popping and quite delicious.
I had so much fun at Distillery to be honest. Cannot stop raving about this place, honestly. I cannot wait to try their brunch as well which looks extremely promising.

Recently visited the recently opened Gastro pub in the Souk Al Manzil area. Its located by the roadside but the parking is around the side of Al Manzil. The interiors are so relevant, showcases modern take of an actual distillery. Steal barrels, glass bottles, steel drums all in different shapes and sizes. They even have a vintage motorbike hanging in the wall. The Bar is quite long and is filled with all types of bevies.
Amazing place. Loved the Brew Dog beer and the ambiance. The DJ was amazing and the party vibes were good. The best part is the food. Loved the starters and the mains. This place is highly highly recommended.
I went last week to have dinner at the Distillery, a new gastropub and late-night bar located at Manzil Downtown in Downtown Dubai. Distillery is a community hangout to come to after work or for a meal & pint with friends on the weekend. Drink, eat & mingle with good folk!. You have to park in Manzil Downtown yourself. You cannot give the car to the valet at Manzil Downtown Hotel but the entrance of the self parking is just at the entrance of Manzil Downtown Hotel.
It's a small place but packs a good crowd. Love their menu and their staff. Very friendly service. Their ladies night offer is excellent, four free drinks and BOGO on small bites plates. They have live singing on thursdays and a DJ during the week. Definitely would recommend booking a table on the weekends. Prices are decent along with portions. Love their chicken ceasar bites, with the potato skin fries. Very chilled place, finally an authentic place in Dubai. My go to.

A group of about a dozen people had already crowded a table in Distillery when the Expatmedia.net team arrived on a Wednesday night. It’s 7pm and things were just heating up in the trendy new after-hours hangout in Souk Al Manzil, Downtown Dubai.
The vibe in Distillery is very relaxed, no wonder it resonates with Dubai’s creatives with its industrial-style interiors. A statement wall next to the entrance is artfully decorated with rows of crates filled with empty bottles (in case you forget you are in Distillery). We also loved the modern black and white graffiti art on the walls. The minimalist interiors definitely put the focus on the food and drinks. Service was well paced. We didn’t need to wait long, but we didn’t feel rushed either as the waiter took our orders or served our food.
Speaking of food, bites here are big on taste and prices aren’t ridiculously expensive either. We highly recommend the sweet-spicy barbecued chicken wings, wagyu beef tartare, their juicy chunk of wagyu steak, and that oddly satisfying contradiction called pecan maple bacon cheesecake. The drinks were unique, too.

Distillery – the newest hipster hangout/gastropub – is a welcome addition to Dubai’s seemingly never-ending list of eateries. If you’re anything like me, the one thing that bothers you about a lot of late-night spots in the city is the lack of finger lickin’, mightily satisfying food. You would think that in a city so vibrant and ‘in love with food’, it really shouldn’t be hard to find somewhere with a fun atmosphere, great food and enjoyable music that doesn’t get in the way of good conversation. But I can only think of a couple spots off the top of my head and Distillery is (now) one of them.
Found inside Souk Al Manzil (right next to Ting Irie) in Downtown Dubai, Distillery has something going on almost everyday, including Ladies’ night on Wednesdays, and an evening brunch on Fridays. We opted to go Thursday night, with live music by Josh McCartney from 8 pm to 11 pm. Considering the fact that Distillery only recently opened its doors, I was a little skeptical about the vibe but was pleasantly surprised to be greeted into a crowded venue.
Despite missing our reservation in a restaurant that was clearly running full, we were seated promptly and even moved to a different table of our choice within a few minutes. From the small plates, we ordered: potato skins, sriracha baby octopus, wagyu beef tartare and hamachi ceviche. It might be odd that I list ‘potato skins’ first, but really, they were THAT GOOD. My friend and I shared a grilled angus ribeye steak for our main course. I had kept my expectations slightly on the lower side to avoid disappointment, but ended up enjoying every moment of our meal. The potato skins were thinly cut, crisp and fresh, yet malleable. I just couldn’t get enough. I also really enjoyed the sriracha baby octopus, which was made of crisp fried baby octopus, lying on a flavorful sriracha-infused spicy mayo-like sauce. The beef tartare was interesting – a mix of flavors presented with egg yolk on top, but maybe a little too salty for my liking. The hamachi ceviche on the other hand, tasted fresh, with a tinge of coriander.
The ribeye was cooked to perfection – medium rare, just the way we wanted it. All their steaks are basted with their Honey Bourbon BBQ sauce, which makes them a little sweet. I personally really enjoyed the flavor, which I thought was compensated by that of the meat, but I should say that my friend wasn’t too crazy about the slight sweetness.
The service was on point, with two very helpful servers who checked in on us a few times and ensured we got our food and drinks on time. With many more fun nights and a whole lot of food left to experience, I will definitely be back at Distillery, very soon.
Went here for ladies night on a Wednesday and the staff was extremely kind. You usually get 4 free drinks and 50% off on the small plates but the staff gave us extra drink tickets toward the end of the night. The selection of drinks were excellent - very unique drinks - my favorite one was their Cosmo and their whiskey infused drinks. We also ordered their wings which were splendid and bite sized - perfect with the drinks. The ambience was chill and the place gives a very rustic vibe. Thoroughly enjoyed!
Last night we went for the ladies night, when we entered, we felt it’s quite a dead place and no crowd, wondered let’s leave and go to another place, anyways we sticked around, am glad we did, we had a great evening, super awesome food, we ordered beetroot tartare, octopus, duck in toast and prawn rolls and crab, and the fries on the side were sinful, finger licking food and rocking music and lovely staff! Would definitely go again and would recommend this place if u wanna enjoy good food and nice music and cool ambience.
Love the vibe of the place! Can't wait to go back and have the potato skins again with the bloody mary ketchup. Would love to try the other cocktails and food when I go back.

Just what the city needs, great crew, amazing ambience & excellent menu. We loved the evening, the Chef, Chef D came by to chat, nice touch, very community pub feel. Guys behind the bar are attentive & fun. Easy ample parking, under Souk al Manzil, was a great night, will be back.
Really enjoyed the experience at Distillery. the place managed to exceed my expectations. Everything, from the bread to the salad to the beverages to the entrees, was absolutely delicious. The service was friendly and efficient. The food was served hot and in a timely manner. Original décor deserves particular mentioning. Wood used extensively in the interior provides for very cozy home-like atmosphere

For anyone planning to visit, don’t forget to order the Bourbon Chicken Wings. It’s the best chicken wings I have tried here in Dubai.

Beer prices on the upper side, but there is a happy hour until 8 which does the trick.
Honorable mention: their burger, it must be one of the best burgers I've eaten in Dubai.

This is the first time I went to this gastropub and I can say I had an amazing experience with them! ☺️ The place is more of a chillin’ or hangout with friends, they have also terrace which has a Burj Khalifa view. The staff were accommodating and friendly. I love Elmer’s vibe 😂 he is so cool and attentive. I’d recommend this if you are looking for a pub along Downtown area. Cheers! 🍻
