I rely on the place for delivery of authentic Lebanese meat meals. The place has the closest taste to meat from Lebanon, with Kibbeh(though a bit heavy on pepper usually), Kafta, and chicken seasoned and done in authentic Lebanese fashion. The quality of the meat is good. The place offers an option for ready made plates, that only need heating.

We ordered three wraps (beef shawarma, kofta sandwich and chicken shawarma). They were all really tasty, but arrived almost an hour and a half after the order was placed, so they were not warm. Also, they really need to learn how to wrap their sandwiches! All of them had the paper wrapped inside along with the bread, so trying to get a bite without also eating paper was challenging, and unwrapping the sandwiches to remove the paper was a mess.

This place used to serve good quality food, but we ordered this week and were disappointed with the deteriorated quality. The mix grill came without any salads or tahini or sauce (which is common for most arabic grill). The meat had an undertaste to it, kofta was not marinated and tasted like burger. Chicken was dry and had a strange taste. Overall a poor experience with regards to flavor and quality.

Very slow, they removed the food from the table when I was in the washroom without asking, when I spoke with the restaurant manager, his reply was so arrogant. I told him I will not visit ur restaurant again, his reply was 'Up to you'. If it is up to me, then go and have a business you can sell and buy to urself. Worst experience ever, will never do it again.

This restaurant is one of my favorite restaurants. I go there frequently and eat there. I have ordered two days ago food for delivery. I ordered Lebanese burger, Zaatar manakeesh. And labne manakeesh. The food quality was disappointing. The Lebanese burger has nothing to do with Lebanese burger. I suggest to the chef to try the Lebanese burger from malak al Tawouk and see what is a Lebanese burger. Manakeesh were very bad. They are using normal labneh and then bake it in the oven. Normal labneh can’t be baked. It will get ruined. Either they bake the dough and then they add the labneh. Or they use the Turkish labneh which is for oven. The dough wasn’t good too. I don’t know what happened to this restaurant. I recall I ate one time cheese manakeesh and it was one of the best in Dubai. Zaatar manakeesh was also bad. The dough was really bad. The delivery time was also long. They mentioned 40 days delivery and I received my order after one hour and fifteen minutes. I didn’t mean to criticize or give a bad review but because I like this restaurant I want them to double check the quality of food they are providing.

Was surprising to see that Qalat Baalbak quality has deteriorated this much in the past month or so. The burger literally tasted like Kofta. Soggy undercooked fries, soggy shawarma sandwich, overly sauced roast beef sandwich..hope they fix their house soon!

My experience was great. Went there for a raw meat takeaway. Service is fresh trustable and quick. Picked up so mezze items as well. Had a BBQ after 7h with lamb cubes, chicken taook, sausage, arayes... I seriously ate more then I could bcz of the wonderful nostalgia taste that brought me back to Beirut. Totally recommend. And highly trusted if you are a fan of raw meat or BBQ

Positive: Loved the mjadara. Ask them to make it hot. It was absolutely comforting and delicious. The fresh bread was really soft and tasty. The falafel was crispy and tasty. Prices are reasonable. Negative: The zaatar manakish was small and the zaatar was less on the bread. But it was tasty.

This place never fails to impress us everytime you might say that We order or dine in once per week. we tried almost off the menu options. The shawarma is simply amazing, I am not a chicken shawarma fan, so I usually order the meat option and I must say that its perfect. the sujuk platter is to die for. perfect Spices, perfect grenadine molasses The grills are tender and delicious, highly recommended. They offer cooked food at lunch time, Tried their Stuffed lamb (kharoof mi7shi), stuffed zucchini and vine leaves, kafta with potato and rice. Its definitely a place to go to at any time, especially when you do not know what to eat, just grab a rosto sandwich and you will be satisfied.

Always order via phone cause delivery is free/ for pick up . Never ate there so I don’t know how the ambience is but the place is always crowded. So cheap in comparison with competitors who serve similar dishes/cuisine. Their food is always fresh and delicious. My favorite is their taouk. If you’re in Dubai, looking for DELICIOUS Lebanese grills; this is your spot. Pocket friendly, tasty, and fresh because they have their own butchery near by.

The side strip on Hessa Street beside the Saudi German Hospital is turning into quite a little Beirut with a growing number of Lebanese restaurants and cafes vying for attention and custom. Qalat Baalbak is one of the newer such eateries and possibly the most humble and modest. If you like meat, it’s also the best. Located in the Shahab Adbul Rahman Building two doors down from Allo Beirut, Qalat Baalbak’s interior is simple, unpretentious, believable. I instantly liked it over Allo Beirut. There are two sections to the restaurant; on the right (facing the restaurant) there’s what should be a stand-up area where you grab a shawarma or sandwich. On the left is the proper restaurant.

Very good authentic Lebanese taste. Tried char grilled chicken and Arayes with some appetizers, the taste was very good. Service was great and pleasant. Great for a quick bite and to settle some authentic taste cravings .. can recommend it and will go again

The hygiene dropped down to bottom, the waiter brought my shawerma sandwich to the table not only with a plate, but a big chunk of meat was dangling from his hand! Waited 40mns + for my order and when asked the waiter said all sandwiches were delivered, when I confronted him that there are still 2 sandwiches (out of 4) and a tabbouleh plate are not yet served, he gave me another lame alibi that it will take more time... needless to say we left right after. I would never step there again as I have a major concern about the place hygiene.

The food was soooo good!! It is very delicate, and the food taste took me back to Lebanon. I tried the Habra (raw meat), it was very tasty and very fresh. The humus was excellent like home-made. The cheese sambousek taste very good. Finally the grill meat sandwich was perfect, the meat was tender and juicy and not dry. I am 100% sure that i will eat there more frequently. I totally recommend this restaurant. You can also invite your non-lebanese friends, as i did today, they will love the food given that it taste very authentic.

I love Balbaak. Their Shawerm, Falafel is really authentic and tasty. I didn't try their grills yet but I am sure it's really good. They have welcoming services and their delivery is always super fast " faster than Macdonald :)". It’s located on jessa street and has a direct access to the main road, it’s a Lebanese restaurant and service many dishes and bakery. I had shawarma chicken and taboole salad. The taste is authentic and they have food service and nice food quality. Their prices are very competitive and valuable for their dishes.

Everything was good but the shawarma chicken was average. Portions are small so you will be Ble to try several type of sandwiches.

I am not exaggerating: it's the best Lebanese (Levant) food that I had in Dubai. The restaurant offers very tender meat and chicken cooked to perfection. My best dish is the ribs. Chicken Tawooq and Arayes Meat are other great dishes. Another great service that they offer is BBQ catering. So, if you have an event and you want to invite 10+ persons, call them for a BBQ catering!

The quality of the ingredients overcome any shortcomings of flavoring although the flavors of most items is great. For those not used to this style of food remember to ask for less garlic paste as most sandwiches is slathered with generous quantities of the paste. The value can't be beat, and for 8-12 aed average per sandwich (some are even cheaper like falafel or mixed fried vegetables) a meal can be one of the most affordable in Dubai. All food served are good from fresh raw meat to daily dish. Currently we are ordering daily specials from Baalback, it is very well served and packed in an appealing package (for delivery/takeaway). Daily dish comes with soup, salad and yoghurt in some cases. Bon appetit!

Authentic Lebanese grill restaurant. The meat is so fresh as the same guys own a butchery next door. One of the best quality meat you can ever have with affordable prices. We usually order to our office in Tecom with some delays happening as the restaurant is very busy. We got a mix grill and tabbouleh and we enjoyed it so much. Although the ambience isn't that great and seating isn't comfortable, still food quality and service is impressing. Highly recommended.

I never got to taste it as they would not take my order which was under the minimum charge which is visible nowhere on the page. When I asked how much it was, they said 40-50. Then I said 40 or 50? It makes a difference cus I am just 1 person. Then they said "well.. 40/50." With no clear answer, I hung up disappointed and the guy didn't even care that he was losing a customer.

Joseph has done it again! My review is for dine in experience so can’t comment on delivery. Basic restaurant attached to the butcher’s shop so you are guaranteed the freshest ingredients ever. Amazing fattoush, hindbeh, falafel and the BEST raw habra meat EVER! Puts many high end Lebanese restaurants to shame. If you’re looking for an unassuming but delicious Lebanese cuisine restaurant then look no further.

Shish taouk was decent but the meat was really bad. Had a very bad after taste for a long time. Prices are good however my rating is low because non of the chefs were wearing gloves and food was not handled the way it should be. More focus needs to be given to hygiene.
