Tried rice from the very limited vegetarian options they have. But their deserts were amazing. The ambience and staff are lovely.
Chicken was perfect, the sauce tangy and spicy which was nice, sides can be more seasoned. Overall, it was good.
What can I say its my favourite place for flame - grilled chicken .
Ordered Boneless Chicken Breast with the level of spice Hot with two sides .

All things came fresh and hot . And in time .
Sweet Potato fries were really good as in a change from regular fries . Peri peri fries were too good .
And the best part is they are at entertainer too . So you can easily go for 2for1 . Yay !
We had the offer for 35 aed per person for a salad, burger with fries and a drink (the iced tea was amazingly good) we added a dessert for 9 aed only - so for 44 aed we had the perfect dinner ....
The presentation takes the cake.

2) peach & strawberry drink :- served cold, a bit too sweet.

This feels good to return to places I’ve missed so much. Last week we went to Galitos, located in festival city mall. It’s a South African restaurant. Their spicy, tangy and juicy flame grilled chicken is a family’s favourite.
Soups and salads: : Hot chicken soup is very filling but the fresh, crunchy salad is not to be missed.
Main course: My number one choice is their flame grilled chicken. Burgers and wraps are equally good but this time I found the chicken burger a little too salty.
Fire fighters/mocktails: My favourite is coco mambo. It’s a mix of mango juice, coconut syrup, lemon juice, fresh mint and soda water. Mint lemonade and iced tea are very refreshing too.
Desserts: The dessert I ordered was sticky toffee pudding. They serve this steamy hot toffee pudding drizzled with caramel sauce with vanilla ice cream. It was too good!
Good portion size and attentive staff! Interior is also very beautiful. Colorful rattan basket lamps and vintage bulbs have added style to the restaurant.
These days they are offering this amazing combo meal deal that is valid from Tuesdays to Thursdays. Combo meal includes 1.choice of soup or salad 2. Pick one main course 3. Choose your drink.

A bunch of us mommies & kids went to DFC mall and we decided to grab lunch from here since they have big seats & they are spacious.
We ordered a lot of dishes & couldn't find fault with any of them!
Especially likes the flame-grilled chicken & the sharable dish- espetada. There is a range of sides so all of us were able to find something that we loved. My top picks are Sweet potato fries & peri-peri fries!
Also, you have the freedom to customize the flavor/ spice-level that you would like from low spice all the way to extra hot!.

Been there many times with my friends and to be honest its a great place... always crowded and the restaurant seems to be busy... One of favorite was the Halloumi burger which hits all the spots on the taste buds.. also the fav of mine was the sticky toffee cake. i have actually been there many times just for the dessert.
The staff are trained well and the manager(a lady, who always smiles, givin a warm welcome) there remembers my orders every time im there.. But for the business they do, they should have more staff as some times the orders get delayed.
over all the food and decor is great and will surely come there more often.
This was the first time for me going on Gallito's, the menu they had was amazing, But the people who work there really didn't know their menu, I think they can improve being nice to the customers (a bit), and they need to know their food selections on the menu.
If I visit this again, and I have the same thing happening again. I'll update this review with more detail and I'll rate it 2. :)

Perfectly grilled chicken and tasty with good varieties of sauce to choose from.
Their interior is well done and very welcoming. Staff are friendly and accomodating. Sharon did a good job to make out meal enjoyable. She had good product knowledge and was suggesting according to our taste.

A Decent alternative for the famed Nando's.
The ambiance is good and so is the friendly staff.
Chicken Espetada is really tasty especially with their bunch of spicy sauces. The 2 side dishes adds more.
The real catch is there flame grilled chicken.
Among the starters, Chicken-E-naise is a bad choice. 4 pieces of garlic bread with some chicken toppings is what in it.
Chicken Satay and wings are really delicious.
Even though they serve burgers, its not their real mastery.

Great experience every time. Juicy and delicious chicken that’s full of flavor. Sides are delicious too. Friendly and courteous staff. Usually quiet and peaceful with a beautiful and relaxing ambiance.

It was my first time dining here and all I can say is they have the best flame grilled chicken! The lemon herb chicken itself is tasty without sauce. If you like spicy food, I recommend to mix the hot sauce and garlic sauce and use it as a dip. I also like the peri fries because of it's seasoning.

I was walking past this place in Dubai Festival City one weekday evening and decided to try it out. The place has ample seating and the service is good. You should expect to wait for a while for your order to come depending on the selection from the menu.
I called for the spicy version of the Chicken Espetada with sweet potato fries on the side. It is being served with a different name and is not on the menu. I loved the spices and the perfectly well grilled pieces of chicken. The chicken was soft and juicy as well. The sweet potato fries were equally good. It did take some time for my order to be served however once it was, It was gone in no time.
The best peri peri chicken. What i like about them is they always try to add something new to the menu.
We love galito for keeping it simple. Grilled chicken with peri sauce and espadata served with 2 sides. Comfort food can't get anymore comfortable. Keep up the good work.

We wouldn’t have tried Galito’s if we didn’t find it as an option on the Entertainer app. Since my husband and I wanted something different to try, we walked in and ordered at Galito’s.
The ambiance was unique but lighting was a little dim for me. Wait staff were also nice and accommodating especially when I requested to change my side dish order to something else, even after it was served on our table.
The chicken was good. The rice, which was hefty in serving (for me, at least) was a bit dry but still tasty. The sauces for the chicken were good complements. The side dishes on the other hand were good but not great. I ordered the spinach with potatoes, which pleasantly surprised me, as it was savory! The hubby got himself a coleslaw, which didn’t level to his standards.
Walked in to the Galito's at DFC Mall for lunch on a weekday. Until I did so, was not sure if it was the right idea since we expected the noises from the food court to be a disturbance. However, was genuinely surprised that not only was it calm, it did turn out to be a good choice for a lunch meeting; and we weren't the only table to have meeting.
Ordered a boneless platter from the 'shareable menu' as we thought it was a good idea to get a taste of a mix of dishes. We were treated to a heavy filling spread which got us busy for most of the time we were there.
The spice levels we asked for was Extra Hot and honestly, it was not that 'extra'. Keeping that aside, the food was good.
Definitely a place I would go back to. And to benchmark it with its competitor, I would say Galitos is ahead in the race.

My friend and I visited this place for dinner and we got the boneless chicken from their flamed grilled chicken section on the menu and the grilled chicken rice bowl. Both of them tasted quite good . I’d like to go back again and try some more of their dishes on the menu .
Love the chicken, love the sweet potato fries, love the service. It is my go to when i want some spicy juicy and well done chicken. Recently tried the beef boerewors and absolutely loved it too! Galitos never failed to impress.
My family and I are huge fans of Galito's. We usually have lunch here whenever we are in festival city.
Their chicken is delicious and their fries, rice and liver are just as good. The only downside would have to be the garlic bread. I felt like it lacked flavour.
The service is impeccable and the decor is pretty cool.

This was my first time trying out Galito’s. It’s a lovely restaurant with eye catching decor. Sharon, the host, was very friendly and escorted us to our table. Our server was also friendly and overall provided great service.
We ordered Durban Grilled Chicken and Chicken Espetada, with sides of mashed potatoes, peri fries and grilled vegetables. The Durban Chicken was very different as I hadn’t tried anything like that but it was tasty and I liked the butter rice it came with. The Chicken Espetada was quite delicious!! Very tender and juicy. The peri fries were so good.
The prices are a bit on the high side. I don’t think they justify the portions though. You can enjoy a 1+1 if you have the #Entertainer App like we did.

Ordered from Galito’s for lunch. I had the grilled quarter chicken, cooked in lemon and herb sauce with the peri peri fries. The lemon and herb sauce was delicious with a mild and not a overpowering tangy taste to it. The chicken was cooked perfectly, soft and juicy. A must try place for every chicken lover.
I had visited this branch 3 days ago and i had the the chicken wing and galibowl and OMG it was super delicious. The wings was spicy and hot(adding their signature sauces makes it even spicier if one requires).Galibowl was a delight to have with various veggies and grilled chicken. Will definitely recommend it. The service was quick and they made sure my soft drinks were always kept full so overall a pleasant place to have good food with good service

1. Half Chicken with Corn on the cob - lemon & herb Sauce; very good flavor for the sauce, good portion size for one person.
2. Half Chicken with Chili bean - Mild Sauce; good portion size for one person, sauce was good too.
3. Half Chicken with Sweet Potato Fries - mild sauce, serving size was good, fries were crispy and weren’t oily.
4. Half Chicken Breast with Garlic Bread and Peri Fries - mild sauce; good fries which wasn’t oily too, the side garlic bread included 4-5 pieces which was good to share.
At AED 56 each and with Entertainer accepted - it was value for money given the taste, portion size and service!

The chicken was succulent and juicy, French fries were to die for, and the grilled pineapples were good to induce food coma.
This was our second try at galitos. We had had grilled chicken with steamed rice and peri fries and chicken espetada with grilled vegetables and steamed broccoli. Both the dishes were delicious. For drinks we had mint lemonade which was ok. Now comes the best part of the meal which is dessert we had toffee sticky pudding which was like every dessert lovers dream. I definitely recommend everyone to try their sticky pudding. Overall we had a great time.

I ordered online and I noticed when the food came that the drink was missing. I called the restaurant right away and they offered to send me the drink along with a complementary dessert and plus one more drink! The food was really good, chicken was tender and juicy and service top notch.
For starters, this is better than Nando's. Period.
The liver is tastier, the salad is fresh, the sweet potato fries are delicious, the coolers are refreshing. and the hero of the menu - the chicken is generously marinated and finger lickin' good. Oops! Wonder where else we've heard that tagline.
Lastly, dine-in to experience service par excellence with their ever friendly and encouraging staff. Their people make all the difference. And the food just becomes yummier. Can't wait to try out your Ramadan menu this year.

It was for our friends birthday we had been there and we were almost 20 of them the choices were good in terms of the roasted chicken , meal for 2 , meal for 4 so we went ahead with the combo orders that carried the soup, salad, mashed potato, sauté broccoli the roasted chicken . The service , ambience , quality were really extraordinary and inspite of the crowd being big they really managed to take care of each an everyone’s order. I moreOver felt the same kind of taste as of to nandos nevertheless it was good and to the dessert we ended up with some brownies and ice creams that was absolutely mouth melting.

I love the food, i love the ambiance and i love their sauces! Ordered the half chicken with two sides; my personal favourite are the sweet potato fries and green salad. I like the flavour to be Mild so that I can out the sauces to my desire. Paired with an icy cold Coke it tastes awesome!
Amazing ambience, amazing food, amazing service. The grill chicken is soft, juicy and succulent. Sides were tasty too. Have to give 5 stars for super efficient service from Arlene. Would highly recommend this restaurant.
