Adipoli food ...... god servies all the best
Being a regular customer at Thakkaram and a follower on FB made me see this EID promotion running here. Thanks Thakkaaram - തക്കാരം for the 3kg mutton biryani yesterday. Reminded me of the typical malabari biryani which is cooked at home. It was great value for money and saved us from the regular cooking at home. What makes the biryani different is the rice not being the regular basmati rice but jeerakashala which gives the taste and aroma of Malabar. Thank you guys and continue the great work.. smile emoticon

Nice food and value for money. Had ordered Fulka, Pepper Chicken, Appam, chicken varattiyathu.
Enjoyed the sumptuous dinner..
Good social distancing policy and as usual food was great. Loved the prawns and the chutti curry!!!!
Paragon is a good option for malabar Dum biriyani. And the Biriyani was not too expensive. Their appam stew combination is also good.
their fish thali is the best thing u can ever have for lunch... the super tasty fish curry... the spicy tangy coconut chutney... the veg curry ... and the boiled rice go together so well that its mesmerizing... the one more best thing is the price its so affordable for this quality and quantity that i cant believe... 👍👍👍
Resonavke and good taste . Especially for kerala cultural food. Offcourse coconut oil is special in it .
Enjoy as onam is ahead.
Delicious chicken biriyani (4.5/5)
Served with raita, Pappad, lemon pickle, date pickle and coconut mint chutney. Totally worth the price.Good Packaging.
Very nice biriyani tried fish, mutton, chicken and thalasseri dum biriyani. Like the taste of all
Nice typical Kerala type food and ambience with courteous staff ready to serve us with quick service. For starters we ordered Golden fry prawns and Chicken lolypop which made our day.
King fish Masala, Crab masala & Tawa grilled fish was an excellent combo to have with Butter Nan and Kulcha. The crab masala was a bit more spicy but i guess the dish has to be enjoyed when its spicy.
In the end Falooda and Fruit salad with Ice cream quenched the spicyness and we really enjoyed it
Butter chicken
Mango fish curry
Parota 💥
Good option in Al Nahda for the Biriyaani . Had king fish biriyani today. They had served it in 5 minutes. Rice was served in surplus. Medium spicy and well cooked . Fish slice was thin but it was very tasty. Payasam was also served with biriyani. Overall good worth the money.

Loved their chemeen core..
Beef roast packing was so small even though it cost 26 AED
Porotta was not up to the mark , hard and thick
Also the delivery took more than 2 hours even though it's so nearby . Had to make 3 calls to receive the order.
Looking our for best kerala biryani, Then it’s them. Calicut paragon known for it’s calicult delicacies. This is my family lunch place whenever we are out for lunch. Butter chicken is juicy and Parota is fabulous. Outstanding place.
I ordered chicken biriyani from here. I was satisfied even before eating it due to their Well packaging during this Covid19 period.
Food was delicious. I felt the food portion was very less. Food was only upto half of the Food container. Usually it's packed full.
Rest everything was fine.
I would give a 5 star if the quantity was better in the same container.
Must thank the restaurant manager Pradeep for assisting us arrange the sadhya during this crisis.when zomato wasn't accepting orders and wherein we could only make payment by card, since the facility was not available, Pradeep took a step ahead of considering the current scenario and arranging payment later and delivering sadhya. Thank u Pradeep.. thank you Calicut paragon
Typically home made food it was very good in quality and quantity delivered with nice packing. Best meals ever i had in DUBAI worth paying 16 dirhams.
Must try... a treat for those who want to try Kerala cuisine
This is a place I could always think of going alone, with family or having a get together over a meal. There are so many south Indian restaurants in Dubai but Calicut paragon is simply exceptional. Always food & the taste is consistent, healthy & the oil they use is fresh. I and my family are regular diners at this place but it is just now I bothered to put up a note. They just keep making us happy all the time we dine. They never have offers, discounts or any other promos. Simple & straight forward. We very often go for breakfasts. Our usual choices are Appam & kadala curry. I can have this all day & yes the strong tea. It makes our day. All the positive vibes. And for dinner, we usually order the Allepey chicken curry & the kurrathi kozhi fry. But they always have special dishes on most days & the waiters are very friendly to suggest something always & yes it turns out be too good all the time. Simply love this place. Safe, clean & healthy food!
We have ordered from here and dined in several times. I have always been satisfied with the taste of the food. My personal favorite is their appam and vegetable stew combo.
Calicut Paragon is one of my most Keralite food joints in Dubai since childhood. I usually have the
Pandanas Chicken (Boneless chicken wrapped and cooked in the Pandana leaves, served with a sweet chilli sauce)
Koonthal Thenga Kothu (Squid coconut masala)
Meen Chatti Curry (Cooked and served in an earthen pot, this authentic Keralite fish curry compliments everything from appams to rice)
Veg Stew (Vegetable coconut curry)
Malabar Parotta
Egg Appam
I highly recommend all the above dishes. Well portioned and reasonably priced. Also, I love their pathimuga ver water, which is a must try. Overall, always a good experience.
If people looking for north malabar biriyani this is the best place for family and kids
Nothing beat home town feels, comfort food, traditional Kerala delicacies, the right amount of spicy, tangy and all things nice. I dropped by for a quick brunch at the restaurant last day. The place had ample parking space, view and very courteous staff members including the manager Mr.Pradeep and also had a chance to have a chat with the head chef Mr.Reegan, way too humble people I must say!!
And the food!!! I cannot get over the soft fluffy layered parotas, Mutton chops and the Beef! I am doing Kerala lunch again here! They have introduced around 20 new Kerala dishes to their Menu! Can't wait to try them!
The only kerala restaurant chain in dubai which doesnt need any advertisment. The quality of food is awsome. Love their kerala meals and also a fan of their biriyanis. The restaurant gets really crowded on weekends and they put you on a waiting list.
Had a sneak peek nd treat of thier Xmas Sadhya ..good spread..non veg...available only at this branch on Dec 25th...Merry Xmas to all!
Very tasty food. Good Ambience. Loved the prawns mango curry. Would love to visit again and try more on the Menu.
Best place to get your Biryani/Indian craving, we loved their food! I see a lot of negative comments about the the place being too crowded but it's unfair to give this place a low rating because of that, their food is good so a lot of people will definitely have their lunch or dinner here. A friend brought us here for a treat and surprisingly she spent around a little over 100 AED for the four of us.
Best place to have amazingly delicious kerelite food. This restaurant is always crowded. Its has one more floor above, we sat upstairs.
My personal favourite here is the prawn masala with rotis and the fish biryani. Both the dishes are perfectly spiced and tasted heavenly.
Went here for Dinner. Tried the Chicken Curry, Beef Fry, Porotta and Appam.
A really great South Indian Place, loved the food. A must try for all South Indian Lovers there.
Great taste. Really reasonable.
Ambience was bit uncomfortable. But food was really wonderful. We ordered for chicken Biriyani, Meals , fish fry, Porotta and Beef fry. Chicken Biriyani had great smell at it was luscious. Beef fry was dry, with kondattam and really spicy and delicious . Porotta was soft and good. I would like to conclude saying it's really best food.
Biriyani and non veg Malabar dishes are superb. However the curies based with coconut milk is worse, Tried prawns and mushroom curries (forgot the name) it was raw. Just some coconut milk and some masalas.
Another Kerala restaurant we usually visits..
One of the best Kerala restaurant..food here is very yummy!.. everythng tastes good..not even one thing has disappointed us from here!
Tried their paneer pepper starter and was impressed! Highly recommended for paneer lovers with a spicy flavour! They have a nice ambience with a welcome decor .
I honestly cant believe i haven't been to this place yet. Went on a weekend for dinner with family and the food was super yum.
We ordered Aleppey Chicken Curry, Chicken Dry Roast, Mango Fish Curry, Appam, Paratha and Manjo mint juice
Food arrived hot and quick considering the rush, We were amazed.
The highlight for me was the mango fish curry. It was lip smacking delicious. Cooked to the T and perfect when dunked in fresh hot Appams.
The staff are polite and courteous. The food was worth the 30 mins waiting time to get a table. On the downside the aircon needs some serious maintenance. Water kept dripping from the ceiling onto our table and that was very annoying and not hygienic at all. I do agree that its summer and was peek hour time but its unacceptable to have water dripping on us.
I will definitely visit this place again to try more of the fish and seafood but on a quite night
Been here several times all for dinner.. A good keralite restaurant with variety of options. Parking is easily available just outside.
Service - 8/10
Quality - 8/10
Quantity - 9/10
Cost - 8/10
Sufficient RTA parking available just outside.
Highly recommend.
One of the best squid roast and appams I’ve ever had in Dubai. To start off with, Calicut paragon is located near Kulfilicious in Nahda and when you just stand near the entrance, you get the scintillating smell of the fish and the extra spices that Calicut is famous for.
I went to Calicut paragon and ordered a squid roast(cause Mallus do it best so why not), a prawns mango curry and a Mutton Varritayathu. Both of them were spicy and semi gravy although the squid roast was more of onions and spices roasted and it was still so good. The mutton gravy has two huge chunks of mutton piece served over a piece of leaf and it goes really great with the appam. The squid, damn, the best.. that’s all I can say aha. The Prawns mango curry had little pieces of mango which were so damn good and the flavour was pretty evident with every bite I took. I couldn’t stop eating the appams cause they were so soft and since they aren’t filling, you’d want to eat more and more.
I just hope they could do better with the meals that they have to offer as there are other restaurants in Qusais that offer better meals than Paragon hence the 4 star rating.
Otherwise, the food is top notch, I hope to visit there again.
The Iftar kit is very good witb lots of variety if curry, rice, pathiri, snacks, juice and fruits
This place serves best south indian meals and its a
Variety of different curries and sides to try for . I ordered the fish thali and i must tell u this is one of the best in dubai
Calicut Paragon is best in kerala food in Dubai..all gravy is unique and different taste.. specially the coconut gravy..they serve very unique dishes.. quality of food is good..the staff is so fast..
Excellent Kerala food in Dubai. We tried their chicken pandanas, chicken served in twisted leaves- awesome dish. Their coconut gravies for chicken and fish are really good, goes well with the appams and parathas.
Booked for iftar @calicutparagon. We already booked for our table and snacks. Most of the snacks was about to finish by the time we reached there. Snacks was good but they didnt maintain the quality of main course.
