The day I visited was during peak lunch hours therefore there was a long wait for food preparation. But still reasonable. Price is fair. One tip is to avoid the seats by the window if you're visiting around 1pm. Direct sunshine can be annoying even if you're indoors. The blinds are only decorative and could not come down. Overall experience was pleasant.

Tuk Tuk is a Dubai Food Festival award winning Thai restaurant with two branches, one in the Uptown Mirdiff Mall food court and this one, in the main courtyard of Sustainable City. I’ve been to both, preferring the one closer to my home in Arabian Ranches. Although not Thai owned like nearby rivals Little Bangkok and Sticky Rice, their Thai chef adds an element of authenticity to a menu otherwise aimed at appealing to a popular palette. Ambiance and service are both very good making this little restaurant an option to consider to the more mainstream alternatives mentioned above.

If compare onion and noodles inside the box then you should change name for Onion noodles!!! Too much onion and no any sauce at all😏

We ordered same meal. Fried rice was without salt. I mentioned not to put cabbage but i think lady who took order missed. Chicken pieces were hard in red curry and cashew chicken . Red curry was very watery .we didn't eat. Only sticky rice was 5/5

Authentic spice level - which is appreciated!

I’ve always enjoyed eating at Tuk Tuk. The food is always authentic and good quality. They use fresh rice noodles in their noodle dishes. The pineapple fried rice is excellent too. The Panang curry is very tasty. The service is superb. The staff remember our name as we are regulars.

We had a nice evening and an enjoyable dinner. The manager John had some great suggestions and took good care of us. Will definitely visit again and would recommend for some good Thai food

The tom yum was nice but small in size for the price paid, other than the shrimp and mushroom in the soup it gets boring.<br/>The green curry with chicken was lovely with a generous complimentary side of rice, i just found it to be too thick in consistency and too sweet.

The food took ages to arrive then wasn't very great portion size for the money it cost and tasted bland. Was a disappointment to say the least.<br/>

I ordered from Tuk Tuk a few days ago and I must say the prawn pad Thai was really yum with big pieces of prawn and great flavour. What was a disappointment were the prawn summer rolls as they were super dry and no flavour. I kept them for next days lunch and they were even drier. Would order from them again just not the rolls <br/>

We tried the satays, pad thai,<br/>green curry and cashew chicken. Chicken satays were delicious and full of flavors. I personally do not like eggy flavors in food and pad thai and cashew chicken were slightly smelly for me. Service was good.<br/>

Overall the Thai Curry’s were a bit too thin for my liking and that includes the Penang curry - which is normally thick coated. The venue was a bit isolated and totally empty, though the staff were friendly and efficient.

We had very high expectations from this place as we love Thai food, but this was a let down. The vegetarian they serve here isn’t vegetarian!! It contains shrimp paste. I’ve been to several Thai restaurants even in Thailand and have had no such issues. The AC was not working and we were told 10 min before the AC would start, but we had our entire meal without AC or fans! The chicken main that we ordered was ok. They did try to replace my main with PadThai, but that was disappointing too. Service just average!

Tasty fresh food with great service. Big portions which is good for sharing. Friendly staff who are very helpful if you need anything. Crackers and sauce were served in the beginning as you wait for your food to come, which didn't take long at all. Love the ambience of this place and will definitely be retuning very soon.

I visited this restaurant while ago, the Tuk Tuk theme is funky and shows in the decor, Food is Ok however, it needs that extra magic touch to make it a real tasty Thai food. Waiters are kind however they lack experience and service is slow even if you’re the only customer it could take good 20-30 minutes to receive your order.<br/>Good potential but not there yet.

Been to Tuk Tuk a few times now and it hasn't disappointed. Great taste at good value. I am however pretty sure my one delivery order was around a 3rd less in size compared to eating in (TomYum).

Came to the Ranches to visit a friend, and I'm so glad we discovered Tuk Tuk through Zomato Gold! Loved the Green Curry, Satay and Tom Kha. Extremely lovely Thai flavours, along with happy faces that greeted & served us.

Amazing Thai food joint with a beautiful ambience and exceptional service. Special thanks to the staff (Mark and Abi) who were really courteous and made our visit memorable. Quick service, fresh ingredients and authentic taste are all the more reason to visit this place. 9/10

Such a cute little hidden gem! Most places mess up the Pad Thai, but Tuk Tuk does it really well. The place is simple and not pretentious, but serves really good food. The staff are so polite as well. Totally worth a visit if you're looking for a nice Thai dinner away from the bustling noises of the city.

Bad. <br/>I love massaman curry but this was the worst I’ve ever had. The beef was chewy, the potato’s were hard as were the m carrots and onion. It felt like all the ingredients were just thrown together at the end and not cooked together. The sauce was also very watery on both dishes. <br/>Wish I’d listened to the other reviews about it being watery. Total waste of 111 dirhams. <br/>The plastic cutlery was dirty too. <br/>Extremely disappointing 😟 I’ve cooked better myself.

Went with colleague for lunch...I quite liked the decor here. We ordered a chicken pad Thai and a coconut milk Tom Ka soup. The pad Thai had nice sweet spicy peanutty flavor...I would have preferred more noodles than the chicken though. The soup was just so delicious and yummy.. The best Tom Ka I've had so far.

My kids enjoyed the satay a lot. Although they’re not the best food critics but to see them enjoy their food and clean their plates off was a delight. Love the location as well, not too crowded and there’s plenty of space to walk around after that heavy meal. Staff was very friendly. Will definitely come back and/or call for delivery.

Food came on time and was nice but....OMG, Was it spicy!! I asked for the medium spicy and it was super super hot! They seem to leave the chili seeds in which made it worse I think.

We went yesterday based on a friend recommendations. All the curries we ordered three types were so soupy and lacked taste the needed simmering and the pad Thai was very heavy. Honestly I went with high hopes since I love Thai food and I live in Sustainable City so thought that this will be my go to place. I was disappointed

After seeing the 3.8 rating, I was looking forward to my Thai dinner. We ordered Veg Massaman, Red curry chicken and Jasmine Rice. The Food was extremely disappointing. The Massaman was full of carrots, cabbage and cauliflower, as you can see from the image and the curry was watery and had no flavor of Massaman at all! There were no Thai ingredients except Thai chili and they clearly don’t know how to make Thai food. Overpriced and very bad Thai food, I was very disappointed.

Tuk Tuk is our neighbourhood thai so we have had it a couple of times when we are feeling lazy and dont want to travel into town to get food. We have dined in the restaurant once and had take out a few times. <br/><br/>The flavours are good and they have a wide range of items on the menu. However, i do feel compared to other thai restaurants around the city, the price is a bit expensive, especially as the location is out of town in a community.

Thank you entire team of Tuk Tuk. We celebrated surprised birthday party for my husband. They arranged everything as we requested. They were kind enough to accomodate our food requests as we had many guests who did not eat fish or oyster sauce. The food was very tasty and enjoyed by all our guests. They have very good food variety. The ambiance is good.<br/>

Food was great. However, delivery driver totally ignored me and didn't say a word when I said "Hi, thank you". I expect least politeness as a customer.

First time to try Tuk Tuk. Overall all it is decent yet was expecting the Pad Thai Noodle dish to have more Noodles vs Veggies. The medium spicy was quite spicy as expected from a Thai cuisine. A good balance of taste yet I was missing the authentic peanut taste of an original Thai dish.

Not too bad but not fantastic either. I will still eat from this place though.

Amazing. Simply the best of Thai food I tried in Dubai. Well I heard quite a bit about this restaurant and thought of giving it a try. The location is away from the city but it’s so beautiful. The restaurant is very well laid out. Loads of space and a perfect spot for date nights 😜. <br/>We ordered for usual fish cakes and spring roll for starters. The fish cake was yummy and less oily. The spring rolls were fresh and amazing. For main we ordered pad Thai ((the best pad thai I ever tried)) chicken with cashew nut and green curry. Woah the quantity is huge and yummy. I am allergic to spicy food ( dare not laugh!!!) but it’s true. I was afraid the food is gonna be smacked with chilli. But it wasn’t. The taste of the curry was so so so good. <br/>Lastly for the dessert. How can u not have the banana fritters and sticky rice with mango. Yummy again!!!<br/><br/>Guys I will request everyone who reads this review to give it a shot. With all the pop up restaurants in Dubai... we often miss out on the authentic restaurants and the people who constantly strive to keep it real. <br/><br/>Will always go back!! Reading the word Tuk Tuk rapidly reminded me of my trip to Thailand in late 2000’s. Rewinding my sweet memory bank brought back sweet memories of devouring authentic delicious Thai food. Though travelling to Thailand would cost me a small fortune I need not worry as Tuk Tuk serves authentic Thai cuisine here in Dubai. To make sure authentic Thai food & taste is served Tuk Tuk has 5 Thai chefs & all the food ingredients are imported. Now that’s taking food preparation to the next level.<br/><br/>I had a chance to dine in their branch in sustainable city after a brief conversation with them on Instagram messenger. Given an invitation I was more than eager to try them out as Tuk Tuk had won the Dubai Food Festival Hidden Gem top 10 restaurant of 2017. <br/><br/>For soup we ordered a tom yum mixed seafood soup & tom potak vegetable soup. For appetizers we ordered a mix platter which comes with 2 pieces of appetizers they offer. As I have a love relationship with spicy food I requested them to make the soup as spicy as they can get. The platter was the best crunchiest, savory & freshly fried appetizers I have had so far. We chowed it down in no time. Though I relished the tom yum soup I would say the tom potak has a more robust bustling flavor.<br/><br/>For the main course I settled for a Thai Green curry along with a khao pao vegetable fried rice. Whereas my friend ordered a pad thai. Eating Thai green curry from various Dubai restaurants which miserably fail getting the dish right; Tuk Tuk hands down delivered the authentic taste. I have two words for the green curry - Pleasant & divine. The mixed fried rice was a great side dish for the green curry.<br/><br/>To end our meals for desserts we selected a banana fritter & mango sticky rice. The mango sticky rice comes with a huge sliced mango which origins are from Thailand. The sticky rice along with the mango was a luscious sweet combination. But what stole the show for me was the banana fritters. Hot & sweet nectarous banana fritter served with cold vanilla ice cream. The dish hit the right notes & the right spots.<br/><br/>I had a wonderful experience at Tuk Tuk. Could be the fact we dined in restaurant where we received excellent, warm, friendly & super quick service.

If you are looking for an authentic Thai cuisine which won't break your budget, this is the place to go to. The interior itself will make you feel as if you have been to transported to Thailand. Super awesome. We ordered Tuktuk platter for appetizer, and it has a little bit of everything which makes it super value! Tom Potak soup is a meal all by itself, but I could not let the chance to get a good Pad Thai pass by. Prawn Pad Thai is the best. It is a must. I felt I do not have enough space for desserts, but I ended up with mango sticky rice anyway, and it did not disappoint. The calories are worth it. If you are looking for the best cheat meal, go to this place. :)

Being a big fan of #thai cuisine i tried recently the newly opened branch of @tuktuk_cuisine @thesustainablecity moving from the food court in mirdif to a seated restaurant. <br/>Im definitely adding it to my list of casual Thai places.<br/>Flavors were great , will sure come back<br/>
