I ordered chicken manchurian with fried rice from office for my lunch break.and guess what it's delivered on time and food is freshly prepared, delivered hot and I enjoyed every bite of my lunch .it's really tasty I will give ⭐ ⭐⭐⭐⭐ to this restaurant . Really service is very good and appreciable
The food is super tasty . Loved the Gobi , and chicken dishes , desserts are also good . Reasonable and worth it .
Ordered Vegetable Fried Rice and Chilly Chicken. The Fried rice was ok but the Chilly chicken was good. Delivery was on time. Portions were good.
Amazing people and amazing hospitality. Loved the services and environment. Should work on the pricing strategy as it was little more expensive
Its always been a pleasant buffet and party experience with the restaurant . The buffet options they have are great and pocket friendly. Best place to host a party with spacious seating arrangement for birthday's ,anniversaries and events.
Customer Service : Excellent
Food : Good and reasonable
Ambience : Decent, neat and spacious
Never to miss the Soup ,Butter chicken , samosa starters ,penne pasta ,gulab jamun and ras malai
Went for a dinner buffet. They served with good varieties of dishes. The Thailand spicy chicken soup is good. Veg clear soup is very nice. Starters are also good especially Veg spring roll and fish manchurian is very good. Pasta is really super. Chicken biryani is also good. Butter Chicken gravy went well with Naan. In dessert option Caramel cream and umuli is very nice. Rasamalai is little harder. Nice place to go out for dinner.
We booked for this place but it was jam-packed. But they offered us Ponderosa and gave us the privilege to choose which dishes we would like to take. So then, we tried the lamb meat from Caravan buffet and it was truly delicious. One that I could probably recommend to my networks. I gave 5 star rating for this dish. ❤👍
Though I have been here before for some office parties I did not write a review about Caravan. But now I have to....
After enquiring at many restaurant, considering the pricing and the food quality which I had when I visited before, we decided to have our sons first birthday party at Caravan. Believe me, that was one great decision we made... Good spacious parking, Good dedicated party Hall spacious, great food ( in variety and quality), great arrangements ( they made decent decorations even though it was free of cost), super friendly staff and that wonderful birthday cake that looked gud and tasted great.
The buffet was shared with the normal customers and two party packs which made it a bit crowd at times. But that doesn't take away any credit from Caravan, and all the good reviews I got from my guests suffice that...
Thank you for a wonderful memorable party guyzz.. Will be back for more...

Two weeks before I came to Dubai and in these days I have tested Prawn/Rice/Beef items from many restaurant. But except Fried Prawn Rice from CARAVAN all other restaurants same items was rubbish. Many Thanks to CARAVAN for always served me Excellent Prawn Fred Rice.....
Ordered for the first time with the recommendation of my brother. Got manchurian dry, veg fried rice, kofta curry and naan. Absolutely loved each and every bite of the food. It was still boiling hot by the time we got it to al nahda. Everything was excellent tasting. And the quantity my my. We were 2 of us n we ordered all this, i guess we can eat it for 2 days. The most quantity i have seen so far and amazing price. Worth every penny we paid. Loved it...
A fantastic place for dining with friends and family..
Been there mostly for party...
Spacious enough....

Pricing is good matching it’s service...
I recommend 👍🏾
Excellent tikkas, quite famed and that’s why I decided to try it out...they delivered in 10 mins as well!!! The portions were generous and very succulent....Happy customer😊
A very nice restaurant with very humble staff. A wide variety of food served at the buffet and all the dishes were very good... they arrange separate buffet for party on special request. For big gatherings the place can become a little congested... overall very good.
Very good buffet at Caravan. The staff are very friendly and they helped us to be very comfortable. Menu items were too good and tasty. Desserts were also good. We have had a very good buffet for AED 49/-

Love this place, they have some nice dishes and great soups. the tom yum there is great and served at the buffet. they have flavors of many different countries and i can say all taste good.
Came here for dinner. Lots of variety to choose from. Freshly cooked food. Lamb was so soft and tender. There’s also a counter for vegetarians and a separate salad counter. Sweets too were good and freshly served. How I just wish they also serve vanilla ice cream to pair with gulabjamun. It’s still good though, could have just been perfect if there’s vanilla ice cream. 😂😂😂
You’re not forced to order a bottle of water too if you don’t want sodas coz, they’ll just come to your table and fill your glass with water.
Staff were accommodating too.
food was awesome...but one suggestion..while packing fried items in containers always add fry papad instead of grated veggies to avoid fried items get soggy..
On time delivery! The quantity was high than expected🖤 chicken biryani; worth it🖤
Great white meat. Would love to have a mutton or beef piece in the platter as well. Chutney given was appropriate to the tandoori chicken and fish marinates.
Overall a great order for a small family 👪.
Always love being here.... althought its somewhat a very old place the fact tht it is still existing is not a surprise since the food then and now is always upto standard.....nd the buffet well worth it .....
loved the chicken lollipop
We came here for a celebration. The place is good specially to come with a group And their food is very good. They have a good variety of dishes. You can also have a small party in the groups.
One of my friend had organised a party last weekend for a big bunch of us at Caravan, and this was the first time I had visited the place. This restaurant is one of the oldest I've come across in Dubai, and I'd been seeing it ever since I can remember, for over 15 years.
The Restaurant is pretty big and has ample amount of seating, along with a party hall. The buffet counter was decently vast with quiet a few options to chose from. They had nice Indian and also Desi-Chinese dishes, and almost all of them tasted really good. The kebabs were nice, and so was the biryani. The desserts were okay as well, the Gulab Jamun being the best.
Overall, I definitely wouldn't mind trying this restaurant again.
placed and order recently and there service is great ! Even for low order also they are coming up and doing there best ! and food also awesome !! Complimentary desert too !!
An average place. The food taste good. Some of the items on the buffet menu tastes really good while some tastes average. One of the best places that come under affordable buffets. Not much dishes but done well. Ambience is okay. Not great but not bad as well.
Dined at this restaurant numerous number of times, one thing you need to know is that this restaurant follows a buffet format and A'la Carte Menu, but I'd recommend to try out their buffet. I've tried almost every type of offering on the buffet menu. They follow an Indian/Arabic cuisine.
The soup starters are fine and palatable. The appetisers and main courses are in decent variety but it'll mostly include Indian food. There's one area in the buffet where there's this massive plate of Arabic Biryani which is a hot favourite because it's mostly always empty. They've got a salad counter as well with very good offerings for all those salad and health enthusiasts. Finally the dessert counter once again has a medium variety of offerings which are delicious.
The ambience of this restaurant is cozy but everything feels really dated. The staff are really efficient when it comes to clearance.
Overall the biggest problem I would say with this place is that their menu hasn't changed since forever. It's the same thing every single day and that gets boring. Other than that for parties, events, gatherings this place is brilliant!
A great family friendly place, with some average food.
If you have high expectations, don't go there but of you are looking for a well priced and quite nice meal, this is the place you should go to.
Caravan is one the oldest restaurant in Dubai. It is one of my favorite buffet restaurant because it serves most of the dishes which I love. It offers a great multi-cuisine buffet which covering the Indian subcontinent, Middle East and Continental. They have soups, salads, starters, rice, various curries and desserts.
We were in the office and didn't feel like heavy meal. We ordered 5 soups and one raita. When delivered the soups were packed nicely and soup was really hot. The taste was good too.
Speed of delivery 4/5
Presentation 4/5
Taste 4/5
Price 4/5
I recommend the place to others.
Went for buffet with family. The highlight in the buffet was its starters and salad. It was really fresh.
Variety in main course is less compared to few similar buffet outlets. Staff are courteous and friendly. Need to work on their desert as well.
It was my friend's son's birthday, and we went there to celebrate. Having been there before, we are quite used to the taste and the variation their buffet offers. The rate is quite reasonable, and they had a good balance of veg and non-veg items. The cuisine included Arabic, Chinese and Indian items, and all the items were quite good.
In the days gone by, this was one restaurant where the kids ordered their biryani and chicken tikka masala every second day, and do remember from back 20 years they have been doing the buffet service which includes a mish mash of every cuisine.
Caravan is your answer for a buffet category of 50 - 60 dhs, in the Deira side of Dubai, and you can have all your family birthdays under this roof for a steal.
Food is good, not great - they have a mix of starters, the grilled items are all good. The very popular dishes will be gone in a flash and there will be no signs of a refresh.
The main courses are a mix of Arabic, Indian, Chinese. So whatever is your mood for the day - you can go for it. The Indian breads are very chewy and maybe they need to do something about that. The desserts have room for improvement.
The place needs a major revamp. Service is very attentive. Washrooms are horrible and they seriously need to have a dedicated attendant look after the rest rooms.
Going back if invited to another event.
We had a small gathered scheduled here with family friends and I am glad we chose this place. Everything was great, the food was sufficient for the buffet and our guests were very pleased.
Taste - Great
Ambiance - A little noisy cause of the kids
Staff - Polite and Friendly
Price - Fair
Quality - Fair
Interior - Pretty red and white themed
Presentation - Fair
Thumbs up 👍
Visited this place quite a few times as we're fans of their lunch buffet. There's always a variety of options to choose from and the dishes are more than satisfactory. Good ambience and friendly staff.
Caravan reminds me of old Dubai. And that’s because it is from old Dubai. I remember the original restaurant which was right beside the Clock Tower. It was our favourite ‘go to’ place to tank-up when funds were low. It offered an extensive, multi-cuisine buffet covering the Middle East, Indian subcontinent, Far East and even some Continental thrown in for good measure...and that’s on top of soups, salads, starters, and desserts (note, all plural)…and all for Dhs29! I kid you not. Okay, so that’s gone up to Dhs55 now (since the 90’s). But I’m happy to say, nothing else seems to have changed (except the location). It’s all there. In fact, I think they may even be using the same chaffing dishes from back then (I’m kidding). Quality and ambiance is very much on par with what you pay for so don’t go expecting gourmet food in a fine dining environment. That said, you will probably be surprised at how good the food actually is. Service remains old school friendly and attentive. So there you have it, Caravan, a blast from the past…and well worth a try.
Waste NOT. Want NOT.
Had the lunch buffet.
Spread was nice in the fact that they had Indian Arabic, Thai, Chinese dishes. The spread is not too lavish.. But I loved the fact that the dishes were great. I didn't try the Arabic and most of the Indian section.
Salads were good.
Desserts were a let down. Can have some more in this section. The creme caramel and gulab jamun were good. But a cake and some more sweets would definitely be a great addition.
Overall worth the price paid..
Great location.. Parking available right in front. We went on a Friday so can't say how it is on a weekday
Best place for budget birthday parties or any occasion ge togeather.. The buffet is satisfying and has the sufficient items on the spread .. Chillly chicken , fried chicken , biriyani and the desserts were all good
Caravan is probably the only restaurant that I know of, which has been running a buffet ever since its inception and it still hasn't run out of fashion. They are clearly doing some things or many things right hence the long running success.
They serve a multi-cuisine ala carte menu as well in case you don't want to opt for the buffet. But the buffet also serves a massive multi-cuisine variety spanning from Indian to Arabic to Asian. The food tastes pretty good and it's quite a value deal if you are a real eater and if you consider the widespread.
Caravan is also a symbol of Old Dubai, as the place has a certain old school charm to it. Massive space, which is perfect for family gathering or celebrations as you don't have to bother ordering and looking after each one's plate and the variety also satisfies everyone's taste.
However, do not expect an authentic culinary experience of any sort or else you will be disappointed. The staff and service are good but slow at times if they are too busy.
A visit again for the birthday party. Till today I couldn't update the review. I have visited here only for the parties. Had buffet all the time. I'm not sure about their other dishes but it's a nice place to have family gathering and small parties. Food menu for buffet are incomparable with other restaurants which I visited.
Well presented and neat. Food tasted nice specially the chicken tikka, fish, chicken Chinese fry.
It's a nice place to gather with family. I will recommend here since it's reachable and parking easily available.

I am writing this review on behalf of my family.Whenever i meet my family who has come from Dubai I hear them talking about this place and almost all the family get togethers and bday parties they keep it here. So this was n my list when i was n dubai.A very calm place as it was a weekday. The food was so delicious and perfectly cooked..Not a big buffet with large trow of lots of items. But a few dishes perfectly done. Best thing i liked about this place is their unlimited pepsi which is included in the buffet as many places u have to order pepsi separately with an extra cost. A great place to trow a party with good food at a pocket friendly price.
We tried the buffet over here and it was a spread from most of all world places.
From Thai Chinese Indian to Arabic all the spread was delicious and luscious.
I even loved the dessert section.
The place is spacious and and the service too is very quick.
This has been the 4th time I'm dining in here and the food must say is amazing, same great taste couldn't say anything tasted bad, liked the ambiance and what more can u ask please reserve if ur taking in a big crowd
Had a lunch buffet, quiet a good place, decent ambience, spacious. As far as food is concern overall satisfied with the food varieties and quality. Taste is good. I liked chicken wings. In terms of desserts, gulabjamun was good. Expensive place though.

Quite a decent buffet.. Wonderful spread in terms of cuisines.. Unlimited soft drinks.. Desserts can surely catch up with the rest of the items.. But an iverall good experience.. 😊😊
GRAB YOUR SPACE ..ENJOY THE PARTY...
Went there for a function.Nice place for small party/get together. Restaurant divided into many portions.
choose your slot/area according to number of your team. provided a wide spread buffet ,Average /above average - food , but good for functions. Even with other guests in the restaurant your group can enjoy within the space you are allotted.
One of the oldest restaurants in Dubai and their buffet is still famous, went there many times for the buffet and still highly rated. 2 generation of my family have dined here already, :) The only downside I see is that I always notice that the same buffet spread every time I visit the place not a single menu is different..The kebabs are really worth trying, the Arabic rice and the Thai rice, the Chinese noodles and soups.
The ambiance is good and the staffs were really friendly and courteous.Always and for sure would be dining here again.
One of the better buffet spreads in Dubai. I have been to their lunch buffets multiple times and was always satisfied by the extensive spread. Quality was quite a bang for the buck. Umm ali in the dessert section is highly recommended.
I am a regular customer here. This place never disappoints me. The Dum Aloo and Malai Kofta here are simply out of the world! Malai Kofta just melts in your mouth. The servers are friendly and the price is decent too.
One of the best restaurants I have come across. I have had food from here a lot of times for my dinner. Butter naan and chicken butter masala are my favs. Believe me their chicken butter masala is just too good and unmatchable taste. Don't hesitate to walk-in. You'll definitely enjoy the food.
Went there with my friends for their buffet session and it was just a wonderful time we had with their soups ranging two to three varities and starters having three different variations and ofcourse the salad bar was fresh and was constantly being filled the the Dessert section Umm Ali is a mustry -try so is the Gulab jamun which simply melts in the mouth overall a wonderful dining experience
My first even Butter Chicken and Naan bread was from this restaurant back in the early 90s. Dont know about its quality right now but cannot forget how good it was back then.

One of the oldest restaurants in Dubai. We used to go here as kids with the entire joint families. Used to be an adventure. Especially their awesome buffets and unlimited juice refills. Lot of fond memories of this place.

The buffet! The buffet! The buffet! 😍 Once tried, caravan buffets will easily turn out to be one's favourite in no time! Wide array of continental and arabic food , at a very Reasonable and Affordable fixed price, with a big array of deliciously healthy salads, for the diet guys! (Dripping with all kinds of gastronomically glorious sauces according to your choice). Caravan is well know about their food quality standards, and their bread pudding is easily on my to-eat list everytime! Though their steak isn't all that tantalising (please never go for the Sirloin), if you order steak, the buffet is complimentary. Special mention to their tasty lasagna. Frequented by Filipinos and Arabs mostly, I wonder why more people aren't aware of this beaut yet!
مكان هادئ و الإستقبال فيه راقي جدا، أنصح به كل شخص يبحث عن موقع ليلتقط فيه أنفاسه، الخدمة ممتازة.
الاكل لذيذ و الجلسة جميلة
