Got the chole and Roti . Both of them tasted delish and the quantity of the chole is quite huge, will suffice two persons . Service was quick And prompt .

I ordered the mini tiffin and sambar vada. To be honest the mini tiffin would have been more than enough for me but I wanted to reach my minimum order of 25 dirhams for delivery. The mini tiffin has the perfect variety. The mini idlis were cute and not heavy. The spices were ok not too spicy. I loved it. The masala dosa was nice (very thin and yummy) but I would have wanted the potatoes to be a little bit more spiced. The sambar vada is an absolute must try. Light and very filling at the same time. Good job guys.
Our weekends (for the past few years) are incomplete without a visit to Saravanaa. We love the dosas ! The service staff is so friendly and playful with our kids.
My only complaint recently is the high level of spice in the coconut chutneys! It is unbearable and there is no option for something bland. My husband, kids and I cannot handle the spice and I’m aware this has changed only in the past few months. Please do something about it as it’s a total put off.

What type of coffee drinker are you? Strong Brew? Creamy and Sweet? Flavored? Let me share with you the best coffee I’ve had. Caffeine is the only addiction I had. I am a former coffee addict/coffee zombie. I wouldn’t function without coffee. I was a classic coffee drinker, a teaspoon of coffee with a little splash of milk and a little sugar. If ever I will add some flavor, it will be the nutty notes.

Always good quantity for pricing with perfect satisfying food.
According to me, this outlet in Oud Mehta beats all their other ones when it comes to food. And this is definitely visible in the generosity of ghee on their ghee roasts :D And even otherwise...coz it's always more peaceful and less noisy as compared to the ones in Bur Dubai or Karama. Love their masala dosas, ghee roasts, vadas the best! And these guys make good badam milk. So if you arrive after 6pm you can grab some hot badam milk or in case you make it earlier then you catch the cold version of it.
Sarvanaa bhavan is my comfort zone. The sambar is perfect the masala dosa is on point. The puri bhaji is always a safe bet. The service is quick. I love the tea here and its spacious not over cramped and the special booths if u have kids or feel there may be messy eating happening.
No one can beat the filter coffee you get here. If you are craving for some good old dosa this place is perfect. Highly recommend for some delicious South Indian food
Loved everything about this place! This was my first time at a Saravanaa Bhavan and now I know what the hype is about. They do South Indian food so well! We had the mini tiffin which had everything- dosa , idly, medu vada, sheera, upma, sambhar and three types of chutney! We also had the onion rawa dosa with some lassi. Lassi was the weakest link but nevertheless! The food hit just the right spot. Definitely will be coming back! Affordable and delicious! Who wouldn’t !
I visit this place quite often Saravana Bhavan on Oudh Metha, food is great and so is the service. The ambiance is decent too. They have 5 branches in Dubai. It caters Authentic south Indian food.
The taste of food was exactly the same as all the other branches.

At this Saravanaa locale at the Oud Mehta, the Dosas were done to perfection - hot, steaming and crispy - with the pictured Ghee Roast Masala Dosa with sambar particularly delicious.
My all time favorite place for South Indian breakfast. Had idli and vada. The service was super quick and the piping hot sambar flavor was amazing and the idlis were soft and vada crispy . I love the coconut chutney too here . And not to miss the best filter coffee which definitely doesn’t fail to ignite your day !

The best vegetarian restaurant in town , one can once a while and enjoy there deicuous servings of dosa and uttapams and other south indian dishes, as the place is nearby and in walking distance , so loved to go there.
This is my favourite chain to have vegeterian meal. Have been at their Karama outlet several times. This time went for a lunch at their oud metha outlet. The starking difference i could feel was in the service. Whereas the service in karama outlet has been outstanding the same could not be found here. The food was as usual tasty. Ordered Mini Thali, ghee roast and puree Bhaji. Everybody liked the food. The quantity was good enough and the price also reasonable.

I LOVEEEEEEEE Dosa and this is my most fav dosa place in Dubai ... I usually have Rawa masala dosa or Paper ghee roast..both are delicious...their chutney and sambar are also yummmm !!! if you wanna have good dosa, def, go here....not fancy but the food is AWESOMEEEEEE
I love this place for a south Indian breakfast. The sambhar is amazing and so is the coffee. A family favourite is the Mini Ghee Sambhar Idli.
Continuing our saga of having South Indian fare, this time we ventured to another well known establishment to try out their Lunch Thali.
And mostly you can never go wrong with a Thali. Here it's good value for money - at less then AED 20/- you can gorge on unlimited amounts of Sambhar and rassam, 3 vegetables, curds, buttermilk, pooris & parathas, steamed rice, pickle & poppadoms, along with a sweet. The menu changes daily.
Our friends in the group tried the onion uttapam, tomato onion uttapam & ghee roast dosa all of which lived upto the mark.
The restaurant decor and service is basic and functional so don't expect star service.
For having all the above for 7 pax and the bill still coming to less than AED 100/- is plain good value for money.
For a no fuss decent South Indian meal, this is the place which needs to be tried out.
Having lived in South India I need my fix of dosas every now and then and Saravana Bhavan is my go to place. We ordered masala dosa, rava onion dosa, idli sambhar, onion and tomato utappa, ghee roast dosa. We love this place. Today the idli was disappointing for some reason but because of my past 1294738 experiences I'll still give a 5.
A must visit place for a pure veg person. The ambiance is good and they have a seperate section for family too.
There are so many south indian dishes you can try but meal is must.
If you are confused what to order just go for a mini tiffin and you are sorted.

It's one of the best vegetarian restaurant. We are normally ordering from here. My wife is a fan of their curd rise nd my daughter is very much like the idly. Their Sambhar is awesome.

I visited Saravana Bhavan restaurant with my family . we were looking for an Indian place that served good pure veg food without onion and garlic.
The service was very good unlike other indian restaurants we visited where typically the staff are slow paced and wait for each other to take orders. The restaurant is very clean including the toilets.
Staff were curtious and friendly, food delivered quickly and tasted good.
The price is very good for the quality.
If I lived in Dubai, this would be my local!
I was hungry and tried their vegetable biryani. It was delicious and one of the best vegetable biryani I have had.
Now I will have to try their other dishes, the next time I am there.
Normally I try the south indian dishes, but looks like the other cuisines too are nice.
All right . I admit that I am from SOuth India and I am rather fond of my idlis and dosas. So when I went there I was quite sure that it would be the usual tasty fare that they serve all over the world - which it was . Looking for something unusual I saw the "Day's Special" - Cauliflower DOsa ! Intrigued me and colleague decided to have the same . Its very simple - instead of the "masala" in a masala dosa, they had grated cauliflower with some unidentified masala . Whatever , it was very tasty . The rest was the usual fare of Tamil Food which is quote well known - so I wont describe it . Try the Cauliflower Dosa - its a bit off the beaten track and at the same time , quite yummy

Sarvana Bhavan is synonymous to good South Indian food. I have been to their branches in Paris too. I love their simplicity and at the same time attention to detail. I tried their curd idli and masala dosa here. Both were upto my satisfaction. 👍

Quality South Indian restaurant where one can get authentic Udupi fare, freshly made and well presented too.
Ambiance is fairly nice with seating in cubicles as well as central zone of the place.
Though we had tasty Idki, medu vada, roast masala dosa and rawa masala dosa, the menu offers other non Udupi options too.
