This branch is inside the knowledge village food court and does not serve all the items available in other branches. Their chaats are really good and refreshing. The Bombay Grilled sandwich is another favourite of mine. Overall good. I would have given 3.5 rating but Zomato doesn't allow it.
Had ordered Apni indian thali from here yesterday for lunch. The thali was filling for one person at a reasonable price . The thali, that consisted of rice , 2 rotis , 1 veg curry and a veg dish(dry) , pappad , Raita and a sweet was just too good . A must try .
This is my favorite place for breakfast. It has all the delicacies of india which we generally have for breakfast like Poha, upma, idli sambar and chai as well. Their service and delivery is amazing and very quick as generally we don’t have time in morning to wait and due to meetings so they deliver quickly, which is the best thing after food of course.

This is a pure beg place with focus on many different dishes. With more than 50 dishes, it is a good place. My favorite is papdi chaat along with their kadai paneer combo.
We were tired and hungry and popped in get to some Indian sweets that were delicious that we ate over the next couple of days.
As we were leaving we decided to have some pani puri at the counter outside- crispy shells filled with chick pea mixture and topped with a spicy sweet sauce.
Almost every other morning we order from this branch & they are the friendliest people ever. They remember you from your previous orders and they remember the small things while sending the first meal of the day to our evening snacks. It feels good to know that they take the effort to know their customers. I have been ordering from this location for almost 1.5 years & it only gets better. I love their food, it’s comfort food & it gets you through your hectic work day. Love their samosas, chaats, Upma, pav bhaji, I can go on. Thank you Puranmal! Keep rocking !
A colleague treated us with samosas from here. They were delicious as always. We went in for mini samosas - a box of 12 samosas were for 21dhs. They serve green and red chutneys which are also super fresh. The only problem is that they don't deliver chai. But the samosas here are the best.

I found my second home at this place, delicious food. This place serves amazing Rajma rice, mouthwatering pudina lassi, veg biryani is so perfectly spiced, vada pav -my all time evening perfect snack.
On the top the staff is extremely courteous and hospitable and too quick in delivery.

Have tried their veg biryani combo and their rajma chawal combo. They serve it with salad raita papad and pickle. I really love their presentation and their service. And also they have a variety of indian snacks available . My most favourite is shakkar para.
The best bhel puri and masala lime soda I've tasted this year. OK, the food court in Knowledge Village isn't five-star dining, but when you're spooning and sipping as joyously as I was, you really don't care. If you have business in the area, make it your business to stop by.
Best vada pav . Wish it would come with a fried chilli and garlic chutney.

I call them speedy chaat! I have ordered about three times from here and they've delivered my order in less than 30 minutes!!!Tried the Bombay Grilled, Apni Indian Thali, Dahi Puri and Raj Kachori. The bombay grilled takes me back to bombay's signature sandwich! Must say, the best I've ever had in Dubai. The Thali was good in quantity, came with Dal, 2 Chapatis, dry vegetables, boondi raita, papad, rice, pickle and salad. Dahi Puri and the Raj Kachori were good in taste. Got a little soggy by the time it reaches the office, but doesn't lose on taste.Overall, a great place to chill with friends at the food court and try out fresh chaat. Also, amazing delivery service :) Looking forward to trying more items on the menu.

If you think veg biryani is of no good, then Puranmal can prove you wrong :) Their veg biryani which comes with raita, paapad, pickle and salad all of which is just for 12 dhs. It tastes pretty good and totally worth the price!
Vada paav was average and their pani puri isn't as great compared to other places.
Paav bhaaji tasted a bit weird to me when I bought it once so never went for that again..
Good Order-In Place for Breakfast in the neighbourhood.Poha, Samosas,Koki and Chaat items are great.Hard shut at 5.30pm is a big problem though.

This is a nice place for people on the move. Have a quick bite or enjoy the variety, it's all up to you. Good place for vegetarians. I have been to multiple Puranmal outlets and they haven't let me down.
With the few budget restaurant options available around media city, Puranmal is one of the best option. One can have fill them self in just AED 15 - AED 20 without compromising on the taste.
We ordered dal makhnai n yellow dal and mataer panner along with missi rotis and some noodles and mysore masala dosa and everything was tasty although servive isn't tht great here

This place one of the most sought after in the food court. Being in food court, it serves set pattern of food which is carried from their kitchen and with variety of chaat and snacks options, you can choose from many. The service is good and reasonably priced, one of my favorite in the tiny food court.

This is the only place serving good Indian food in the DKP food court and that's what makes this outlet very popular.
They serve pure vegetarian food, so absolutely apt for all strictly veggie food followers out there. Their thali is quite good. It includes rotis, vegetable, rice, dal/rajma, and a sweet dish and it is extremely reasonably priced. My favorite menu item here is Bombay Grilled Sandwich. It tastes almost close to the actual 'thela' (stall) sandwich you get in Mumbai. Their sweets are good too. I have picked up Pedhas and Kaju Katli during festival times. The staff makes you feel at home. The only flipside of the restaurant is it is super crowded during lunch hour and after that peak time half of their menu items are over :(
Very much recommended if you crave for homely Indian food or if you need a quick business lunch before continuing your busy day!

Puranmal's Knowledge Village outlet takes care of your urge for chaat between classes or a full-on desi meal if that's what you are looking for :). Serving a great variety for a food court outlet, including Chaats, Thali, Sweets and packaged Namkeens.
The food tastes just as good as any other outlet of theirs around town and definitely maintains the same level of quality. The only issue at this outlet is you get served till stock lasts and often enough they run out of food, especially the Thali.
No better option than this place for Chaat within the Knowledge Village or surrounding vicinity.
Just called them on Ganesh Chatruthi for some Modaks, and when I wished them in Hindi for the festival the guy spoke in pure Hindi and said "Chaturthi hi Hardhik Shubhkamanaye aapko bhi"...felt really good. The Staff are very courteous and the food amazing, reminds me of home everytime. The only wish for me is to change their timing till 6:00pm especially delivery at the KV branch.
Had few times here decent food has idly once and had Bhel puri once was decent enuf will give 3.5 overall for pricing for food for hospitality by the staff

Puranmal in KV is a heaven for vegetarians. They are pure veg and serve yummiilicious food between 7 am to 4 pm. Their breakfast will remind you of home, they have most south Indian delicacies like :

with the best sambar in Dubai and amazing chutney.

They have various lunch options with 2 curries and rice with a sweet, papad and achar which i think is a complete meal and I see many people queuing for this. It is delicious
They have various chats, samosas, sandwiches, vada samabar for those lighter days and they make it quite well.
their juices are freshly made, Lime juice and orange are my favorite. Their prices are quite competitive price wise and will not burn a hole in your pocket. In all I find them a healthy and good option in the food court.

Puranmals samosas and pani puri are the best in karama , have been having them for the last 15 years and never been disappointed by the quality or freshness of food. I work in Tecom and the DIC branch delivers great sweets and samosas always to our office.
I usually come here for their Indian breakfast which is really tasty and fresh. I always crave for their aloo and gobi parathas which they serve with curd and vegetable curry. It's not something out of this world but a must try. Apart from that their sweets and chatt are very good. One of the few Indian restaurants in knowledge village campus which serves decent Indian cuisine.
