Great value for money and decent quality food. They also serve nice buffet inside.
We also tried samosa. It was big size decent samosa.
I had taken a take-away from here after longest time last week. I am really a huge fan of their upma and the taste hasn't changed. Their food is affordable and taste is decent.
Being a good cook myself; plus, very particular about taste and flavor very very hard to find good restaurant that can match up to my expectation. This place truly meets my expectations in terms of taste, flavor and Mumbai style food; plus, it exceeds above in terms of price and service as well. I have tried south Indian dishes, pav bhaji, Punjabi food...So far everything I ate was delicious, only Chinese was slightly below expectation but better than many expensive Chinese serving restaurants.
If you are ever craving some good old veg Mangalorean and Mumbai street food, this is your go to place! Their Mangalore buns, aamras poori and misal pav is to die for! 😍 Worth every penny and might I add, Swadist is not going to be too heavy on your pocket! 😁
Super fresh and tasty kolige is one of my favourite dishes from Swadist! They make limited quantity every Thursday morning, make sure to try it fresh out of the kitchen. Takes you back to rainy mornings in Mumbai. Can't wait to try more dishes!
What an amazing place for Manglorean authentic food and indian snacks. Happy to visit and kids loved chaat.
Had pav bhaji and onion rawa dosa. Both were delicious and the pricing is extremely reasonable. Will continue ordering from here henceforth.
I've been ordering from swadist for the past few years. And I can't believe I've never reviewed them. They have the best veg food. Breakfast lunch and dinner items are all yum. Their chaats are so tasty. I recently tried their idli chilli OMG. Once in a while it's available but OMG the idli chilli is so good.
Scrumptious food, tried the goli bhaji for the first time it was out of this world. The dosa was super light and not oily at all and the masala and Sambar were light and delicious. The chaat was the best I've had in a long time.
The restaurant was nice and clean, felt safe eating there.
Such a value for money, gem of a restaurant. Order their delicious cheese pakoras because they are honestly the best. Their vadas and onion pakoras too make such a great evening snack.
Worth trying!
Love their Punjabi samosa with a touch of their chilly 😁 I have been ordering from swadist from almost 13 years now and they have never failed to disappoint me !! Love the variety of yummy dosa especially their cheese masala dosa and cheese dosa 🥳 A must try especially after a hectic day of work 😇
Big fans of swadist food, the attention to customers orders, always professionally packed and delivered as per requested and better. The staff are just really nice people and friendly and the guy with his "swadiiiisssst" opening on the call. We are every week customers and long time ones. Swadist also spoils us with it's all day menu to feed your taste buds and cater to customers with authentic manglorean food 👅
Ordered mixed platter of pakoda, samosa, goli baje, mangalore buns & holige which was specially made on the weekend . All the food items were super fresh & tasty. Will definitely recommend this place as it's totally worth it for the money spent and food taste 😃
Great food! My personal favs are the Poha, Wada Sambhar & Mangalore Buns.
I ordered Samosa and Pavbahji yesterday.
The food was really good and fresh. They packed it very well and it was warm till the time I received it.
Specially I like Pavbhaji where bhaji has authentic taste. Pav is also well and fresh.
Great authentic South Indian food with excellent taste.
The mangalore buns were the best I have had and even with the delivery they remained fluffy and crispy.
Would you highly recommend the place which also has great price points.
One of My Personal Favourites ! I strongly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for tasty vegetarian food served at reasonable prices.
I've also noticed that the staff are friendly and welcoming and hygiene is always maintained.
Thanks for yummy Upma, Kandha Poha and Chai :)
You have to try the mangalore buns with sambhar!
Ordered a bunch of items for my first time and was surely not disappointed.
Order :
Mysore Masala Dosa
Idly Fry
Idly Plate
Mangalore buns
The food portions were way above my expectations and was really reasonably priced. The taste was similar to what I would eat back home in Mangalore. Will surely be a regular customer here and would also highly recommend this place.
Ordered pao baji, sev puri and bhel puri. Was really tasty, economical and will definitely pick up food from here again
Excellent taste at excellent prices...That's Swadist for you...Almost daily ordering their veg thali from here for my dinner...Their snacks items like Samosa and Vada Pav are also yummy...
I’ve been having their food for years! My go to has been the mangalorean buns & the pav bhaji for breakfast or a quick evening snack. Their price range is great and the quality of their food exceeds expectations!
This has been our family's All-time-favorite restaurant since years. While living in Karama, every evening snack would be ordered for the entire family from Swadist. After all these years their food still tastes Yumm!!
Have tried their Cheese Sada Dosa, Mysore Dosa, Idli, Sheera, Buns, Fried Idli, Rice dishes, Pav Bhaji and i can name so many from the Menu.
Their staff are also very polite and down to earth.
Definitely a must-try!
Definitely a place to visit or order from if you're looking for good and affordable south indian food and chaat. Really love their cheese sada dosa! Looking forward to trying out the other dishes from their menu soon.
I recently heard about Swadist from a friend and decided to give it a try. We ordered their chaat (bhel puri, samosas, pav bhaji and missal pav). The chaat was very good, upto the mark I'd say. Had their Goli Baje and it's a must try! We also tried their desserts, jalebi and sheera, it was a real standout if you have a sweet tooth. So if anyone's looking for good chaat/evening snacks and good value for money then this is a place to try!
Idli sambar, sambar vada, Mysore dosa, rava dosa, upma, poha, sheera and coffee are the delicious options to try here

Group of friends have decided on a breakfast trail. Swadist was second on the list.
Typical road side food. Sat outside as the weather was good. Our server was quite engaged and chatty. Even took a good joke.
Food was a sampling that we all shared. Medhu wada, puri bhaji, Misal Pao and rava masala dosa. All were yummy. The potato bhaji was a bit watery in consistency not taste. Overall enjoyed.
Filter coffee came in a bit sweet.
Everyday I order food from this restaurant super taste average price
Food Ordered
Masala Dosa - This dosa had a nice spicy filling and their sambar and chutneys were delicious.
Pav Bhaji - This pav bhaji was just delectable. The bhaji was really authentic.I would highly recommend this one.
This is a perfect veg restaurant amidst all the hustles of this happening place, which serves both- North & South Indian veg dishes..will strongly recommend for a pocket friendly, good vegetarian food..👍🏻
Swadist is one of the best and most economical restaurants in the entire Karama. They might not be the best place for ambience, but the quality, hygiene and the taste of food is par excellence. It is a home away from home. I live food from Swadist. It is one of the first few and the most frequent restaurant from where I love to place my order.
One of the best tea in Karama.
Been there this Thursday & ordered Kandha poha.
It came with chutney & Sambhar.
The breakfast was good & sambhar was very tasty.
Felt like I'm having my breakfast at Pune.
Thanks team Swadist.
Looking forward to see you once I visit dubai again.
One of the best thing about this restaurant for nearly 15 years for me is great service, great staff, value for money and quality been consistently nice for over the years.
This could be a personal favourite for many foodies...#pooriandaamras aam ras or freshly crushed ripe mango syrup and paav bhaji with some hot tea perfect combo for a perfect meal...@swadistvegrestaurant

I have noticed swadist many times but never visited until recently when I was looking for new places that serve pav bhaji. The ambience is non existant and better to take away or order. The pricing on the other hand was very affordable and the taste was superb and filling. It came with good quantity of bhaji, pav was nicely buttered and it also had good quantity of chopped onions leading to a good meal.
Ordered for vada pav & chutney sandwich..Delivery was quick..price is worth the money.when delivered vada pav was hot.Taste is also good.Dont mind trying again..
Nice restaurant in Karama. Compact.
I get all the south Indian, especially the mangalorean delicacies.
I came for breakfast on a Friday morning and we did get a seat. I ordered the classic Mysore Masala Dosa and a cold coffee.
The sambar that comes along with it has a classic mangalorean taste to it, which I absolutely loved!
I'd recommend it for a quick bite!
A great place for those evening snacks before dinner. They prepare a range of fried snacks, which include pakodas, vada pavs, bhajias, soya cubes and much more.
No doubt my favourite here for years has been the vada pav. The chai is a great hit too.
Even their more substanial food like, roti and sabzi or dal chawal is a good deal for those who love homely vegetarian food.
Must have the pav bhaji and rava masala dosa here. Its awesome and do not forget to have the simple cup of tea. Its very nice. Cost is also reasonable and affordable for all.
The food delivered was on time, and awesome! I was looking for a restaurant which could provide the same great taste of indian chowpatty. Loved the food! Definitely, a must try!
*Swadist* as the name says, you will experience the real swad (taste) of food here. Feel like you are eating at home, very friendly, always smiling, happy staff. The buffet is available everyday for lunch with very reasonable price AED 13 and I guarantee you the value for money.
There were times when I frequented to this place 5 days a week ans yet never reviewed or uploaded any pictures. After a long time I went to this place yesterday with a new-to-dubai colleague of mine. The food is simply delicious and reminds you of local Indian restaurants back home. The menu is the least priced menu in Dubai and this is pure veg restaurant. TBH, you have to adjust with the ambience.
Dal khichdi and pav bhaji are a must try here!
The chaat items and dabeli is also yummy.
Food Quality:4/5

Value for money:3.5/5
Offers outdoor seatings
This was our last day in Dubai and were in at around 10.30 am (local time) and entered as at that time the nearby Manisha's Kitchen was closed for lunch (and had only snacks available). But this one served full meals even at 10.30 am. We ordered 2 full meals and 2 chapati sabji combos.... Luckily we had Undhiya as a option (strangely undhiya was without any muthiya!!,).... any way the thali's were good with decent portions and we all enjoyed our meals.
Swadist is one of the most lovable restaurants in karama. Swadist is a purely veg restaurant but the taste is just fabulous. If you are from Maharashtra then you will definitely like the traditional dishes like misal pav etc... the ambience is good.. and staff is also nice.. if you are pure veg person then you must visit swadist 😍😍

This place is located right below our residence :D
We are so happy to have a restaurant that can always help us get rid of our desi food cravings *_*
We truly love their chaat and dabeli and wait for Monday's and Wednesdays - These being the only 2 days when Dabeli is available.
VGM options , hygienic as it appears to be and tasty food ! That's what makes SWADIST swadist ;)
This little place is lovely... very much affordable and tastes the best which no big restaurants can offer even.. Go to place anytime 🙌🏻 Even the curd rice from here is the best when compared to all other places... I have tried many many dishes here and are a regular customer for its taste, quality and value for money...
Quick afternoon lunch outside home during the weekend is like a cheat day. Went along with a friend to have a Rava Dosa, Upma, and Tea.
First time having a meal here in the afternoon as I usually pass by for breakfast whenever possible.
Fresh on plate and great to taste. I've always loved their Poori Bhaji but decided to try something else this time around.
Good budget hotel with decent vegan recipes. Recommended who loves North Indian as well as South Indian vegetarian dishes. Delivery service needs improvement though.
One of the famous eatery place in karama,I simply love this Restaurant the reason being their food is good, reasonable and the service is excellent. I normally order from swadisht on weekends through zomato,as they serve weekend specials like sajige bajil or Padengi bajil (both Mangalorean dish) from here. Even, evenings they have some good snacks, chats & Dosa's. Try Dabeli and Masala Dosa, even the paneer burji is excellent over here.I recommended if you are looking for reasonable Veg restuarant, then you should try Swadist@karama.
Best vegetarian healthy food. their delivery is the best and on time. You can have their food all day. Their breakfast is also very nice. Very satisfied.
Best buffet in Lunch in affordable price,
Good place for South Indian veg food....
Staff are supporting with good manners..
Try speacialy cheese masala dosa...
So this was a place i had to try since long as my hubby praises it for their chaats. We ordrd pav bhaji whch was 10dirhams. Very reasonable and very tasty. Next a batata vada, okish not great cz i feel their backgrnd is south indian so tryng north dish will be a bit dffrnt taste. Again it wasnt bad! Last had a mysore masala dosa and it was very very yummmyyyy. Hats off to the reasonable bill i got. All this at 20dirhams only. And trust me the pav bhaji and dosa was worth every single penny!
This place is like "bada dhamaka in small packet". A small place located in one of the busiest corner in Karama, this is the best place to stop and enjoy some yummy snacks. I am more fond of their snacks range especially vada pav. The staff is friendly and they have an efficient home delivery service. Have been having their chat pakoris for 5+ years now! 👌👌
