I did a Thali take-away and I don't remember having a better vegetarian Thali. I finished everything, it was that good! The chappatis were perfect, thin soft and filling. Definitely going to try some of their other dishes too . Try them and even if it's only half as good as my Thali, you won't be disappointed!

Ordered for masala dosa and filter coffee. Masala dosa was hot and crispy, the stuffing inside of aloo bhaji was bit spicy but went well with dosa, the sambhar and chutney were tasty too. Filter coffee was typical south indian type with right amount of coffee and sugar.
Nice family-friendly place with good food. South Indian unlimited thali is affordable at 21 AED. Vegetables, curries and puris are all fresh and filling. We also tried ghee roast masala dosa. The masala was on the slightly spicy side, but it was good in combination with the mild coconut chutney.
The also serve warm drinking water on request. Overall, a nice place to visit.
Disappointed that they can't offer their Friday special..Mangalore Bajji.. HOT... that too Friday morning where there is lot of floating crowd. Since I came here only to have this dish, I Had to leave without having breakfast. Since I am a very regular here.... I felt totally disappointed.

Busy place, might need to wait to get seated on the weekends. But it's always great food, onion uttapam was perfect. Good value for money and quick service !
Thali come with sambhar rice, curd rice, achar, mix veg, 1 sabji, papad & kheer. This thali have authentic uduppi taste must try. More over this restaurant having provision for family. Value for money

Love their Mini Tiffin. Upma, Medu Vada. Their Dosa's are really good.

One among thr best vegetarian restaurants. Have been visiting them since childhood for the past 10 15 years. Quantity is perfect not too much or too less and have so many varieties. Thali is something that i would prefer to have and the new chat section fab 🙈 definitely should try
I loved their food & friendly staff. Ambience was also good. I found the place to be very neat and tidy tried there veg thali & ghee roast dosa. Try their ghee roast masala dosa, you will love it ❤️

Visited here for dinner and order placed was idli vada dip.
Must say that the quality is good.
Also to mention that the prices are also not as cheap as it was before especially when thers competition around.
Have been a regular here for many years, they have a got a wide variety of authentic south Indian veg menu; The sole reason of visiting this restaurant is for their homely Veg thali's, all these years the taste has never been affected nor has the service. The thali has all the home favorites done exactly the the way we are used to. The thali is way better than those served at Saravana or Sangeetha. The filter coffee is brilliant as well.
One of my all time favorite veg restaurants in town. Plenty of parking space around as well. Suggest to go in early for the thali's as the curries are fresh and piping hot.

Quality South Indian breakfast at very reasonable prices and decent ambience. Food was delicious and served hot, chutneys and sambar were yum too. Can’t wait to go back n try out lunch...

I have tried many of their dishes all are good.
Lot of crowd in the weekends.
It's their udupi style sambar that is the highlight of everything that they serve.

The sheera means rava sweet.
The manglorean buns are sweet and a speciality here.
The potatoe tomatoes uttapam is basically potatoe bhaji on a uttapam not that great.

I love their Channa Batoora, I always get Channa Batoora whenever we go there.

Yes they are slighty costly but ofcourse good food comes with a cost yeah...

if you are looking for some awesome place to have mangalorean food then it has to be the Venus Restauarnt Chain.
But if you are coming from sharjah and want to avoid the Karama traffic, then this would be an ideal place.
Place is very spacious.
food is quite yummy and you can never go wrong with the masala dosa and other types of dosa here.
The Buns is something that would mesmerise you and I sure you would order more.
The speciality over here is the awesome Filter Coffee.
They lose points because of the service here, as the staff want to just take your order and get it done with :(
Chaat is not their forte and we have had better.
Instead try out their Idli Vada with the best Sambhar in town. When i say best, i kid you not. They have the best sambhar.
Back from a trip to Australia,I was craving some real Friday breakfast and ended up going to this place. Enjoyed the masala dosa and I really like their sambhar. Also has the best Manglorean buns for company.
Ordered for set dosa rawa onion dosa and filter coffee. Food came on-time. Rawa dosa was hot and crispy. Filter coffee was just perfect. Overall enjoyed the food here.

Reach this place for some South Indian breakfast located in Al qusais.
They have varieties of local manglorean and other South Indian breakfast dishes the taste is amazing and the service is quick.
I personally like there South Indian thali, it is quit a filling and as per my observation Venus is the only restaurant serves full meal South Indian for dinner too (which also includes rice and rasam).

This is my all time favorite breakfast joint. Being a manglorean you can have your hearts fill of all the local breakfast you miss back home. The taste of all dishes is bang on :) The weekends are pretty crowded but the staff help you to get seated at the earliest. You should try the Mangalore buns and Goli Baje. I love their filter coffee as well but find that a tad bit expense at 6.00 AED per coffee.

They are the example of the word consistency. Their sambar is love, so different from the others and for the past 20 years i have got the same flavour. Mind blown! Had their dum aloo last week. It was so yum. Love this place. Family favourite!
