Small cafe in Umm Suqeim with cozy vibes. However, it’s more of a place to pick up some coffee on the go. I’m not a coffee person but I tasted their Frappuccino which was pretty good, and not very sweet. They had 4 varieties of donuts. I chose a pistachio donut but was disappointed that the donut had nothing related to pistachio except for green food coloring. However, I must admit that it tasted good - almost like the Krispy Kreme original glazed.

If you’re searching for the best & greatest coffee you should definitely try their coffee, I visit this coffee shop at least twice a week it’s kind of over the price of normal coffee shops but it worth the price , the only recommendation that I want from the cafe to do is offer a delivery to al stwa please !!!!

Super portions! It was so good to have a weekend brunch in this cozy restuarant! Also this is near the beach so after a nice swim at Kite Beach it would be a great place to stay after!

Back when this place first opened we were there everyday for the depresso frappe! It is cold and sweet but it’s so yummy worth a try, the drink in love for people that love coffee with a taste of rose is recommended I liked it! I recently tried their new donuts the flavors are so good (pistachio, kinder & white chocolate) their small and so light you could eat a whole box but slightly pricey for just 6 pcs and small donuts.. what caught me off guard as well is that they come cold I was expecting them to be hot I think they would taste even better hot! <br/>The cereal latte is delicious😍 <br/>And the PINK CHOCO💕💞 <br/>The cafe is so well decorated very hip I really liked it but it’s a very small space they opened a new branch in D3 it’s very spacious and modern looks gorgeous

When you walk into Depresso, you will wonder how small and quiet the cafe is, however, you shouldn't be fooled. The staff has such loud personalities that you will be walking out with your cup of coffee laughing.<br/><br/>The tiny little cafe located in the heart of Jumeirah. We tried their regular cappuccio which was quite good. It was strong, aromatic and delicious.<br/><br/>A great place to grab a cup of coffee on the go.

Very very sour coffee, no one informed me about the origin or the flavor of the coffee and when I asked for a different roast the answer was this was the only option! Pity it had a nice ambiance though... not impressed with the service or the way the barista reacted.

Considering myself a coffee enthusiast , it serves one of the finest cups of coffee in town. The only thing I didn’t like was the seating inside, the side bench is full of stuff where you can hardly put your cup or if you want to watch the street. Perfect for grab-n-go.

An unexpected turn of events led me to the curiously named Depresso Cafe (instead of the cafe right next door). Despite its melancholy name, Depresso is a rather bright, albeit tiny, coffeehouse on Jumeirah Beach Road where coffee lovers can get their caffeine fix, maybe a donut, and not really anything else.

I love the concept of Depresso Cafe and it seeming passion and joy of all things Coffee. They had a nice drink selection and decent snack choices. The ambiance was nice, however, the service, came off a bit pretentious. Would definitely go back!

They have some really gooooood coffees. The coffee shop is a little hard to spot, so drive slow. I highly suggest you try this place when looking for the ideal caffeine fix.

High price compare to quantity but good quality !! Very small place but nice decoration, friendly staff !! Will be great to add more options to the menu as very limited.

Pretty hefty price for coffee, but I am not complaining!!! I love the donut on top. I think it screams exclusivity hence the area and the space. I also like their NO WIFI rule, so people will be forced to talk to each other. Unless everyone has mobile data. :)<br/><br/>I hope they will put more items on their menu. A tiny coffee shop in jumeirah. We ordered the spanish latte and the pink chocolate. What we loved is the branding on the cup and the donut that topped it. The pink chocolate was delicious and creamy. Overall we found the place quite expensive for a tiny shop which felt crammed with just 5 people in. Yes, there is outdoor seating but do you really want to sit watching traffic in the dubai heat. Customer service was below average, the staff weren't keen on having us there. Withought even asking us they packed our order in takeaway cups, then we had to tell them we want to have it there in a mug and not in plastic.

One of the hidden mystery places in the streets of Jumeirah . They have cute take away cups that says “ #BAE” . Do try their cappuccino and doughnuts combo.

Not a value for money place - some good drinks , resembles starbucks in a lot of ways. The interiors are adorable but its a small place. nonetheless, glad i visited andtried it out.

The idea of putting donuts for drinks was amazing. The drinks ice frap was really good with great ambiance to chill with friends. We had a good time there. I think its bit expensive

I loveeeee the ice frap - way better than starbucks - can taste the coffee and the caramel. I would 10/10 recommend the frap, but do not get the donut: very small and not worth 8 dhs - go krispy kreme instead. If you rlly want something on top for the gram get their cookie - it’s much better tasking.

It is one of those places that you never get bored of for your late night drives or weekend coffee fixes. I love everything on their menu but the iced latte( not sweet) with the donut is my favorite. It is the perfect union of bitter and sweet, leaving your taste buds deliciously satisfied. The only reason for my less than 4.0 rating is the limitations on the menu. Coffee is survival juice and the possibilities are endless, I am sure they can come up with more drinks and cafe food. Also the parking is a real pain everyday day, in an ideal world this would be a drive through location - but if you are like me and nothing can keep you away from your coffee DO GIVE IT A TRY ☕🍩

My visit was due from such a long time so this morning I stopped and finally had their coffee because I wanted to snap with the cups *face palm* I loved the quality of the coffee and the mini doughnut the only thing missing was the menu when I asked for it they said you can search from instagram I was too lazy in morning I just ordered a latte with doughnut and enjoyed

Depresso cold coffee is literally one of my favorites. I like the concept of the shop, it is a little bit pricy though. <br/>Thank god you opened in Abu Dhabi, but I wish you could open a stand-alone shop in any area in Abu Dhabi not in the festival area at corniche.

Beautiful vibes in nice location, friendly baristas. Another nice cafe in Dubai and belong to the specialty coffee in town, has nice atmosphere and good place to seat. The coffeeshop is located in Jumeira road and easy to have parking around.<br/><br/>The most annoying thing is only the car hooter (from the costumer), that's it.

Drove down to Depresso Cafe for a quick cold coffee fix.<br/>It's a quirky little joint on the streets of Umm Suqeim; good for takeaway or to sit outdoors provided the weather is good. My friend and I ordered the Frappe. They asked me if I wanted a donut along with it for an additional charge of 8 AED and I went for it. Our coffee was served in no time and the red-velvet donut tagged along with it. The frappe was perfectly blended but tbh not the best I've had. Also, the tiny donut was not worth the additional charge.<br/>This cafe is surely overpriced!

Nice small coffee shop. Although the best sellers are sugary coffee mixes, I always judge a coffee shop with the basics: a pure coffee and a milk/coffee drink. Almond milk piccolo was pretty good although it might be thanks to the sweetened almond milk used, the Americano, on the other hand, was quite disappointing: it was way too bitter with little actual coffee flavor. It might be a bad batch for that day, I'll give it another try as the branding and efforts are pretty good. Be careful with the cleanliness of the bathroom!

We came to their stall in Umm Suqeim and ordered the Piccolo with Donut. The quantity seemed very slight compared to what they charge for it. The staffs were very friendly and it is a really good stall for quick bites. The parking is quiet a big concern over here for people who want to dine in. But a star down for the poor quantity. I’d prefer coming back here for their #1 BAE once again.

Absolutely adorable! I l visited their stall at Miami Vibes Dubai and was not disappointed with the cortado with the donut. While the donut was pretty ordinary, it’s rare to find a good Cortado in Dubai.<br/>However, giving this a 4 star because I think they’re priced TOO high!

Had my # 1 BAE specialty Frap & a Piccolo to cheer up my lack of caffeine.<br/>The Frap is very sweet for my taste buds, but must say it’s smooth; yet Piccolo, my usual coffee choice, wasn’t as good as I thought it would be - I couldn’t taste the coffee, there was too much milk in my mini latte. Worth mentioning, the donut was delicious & the branding is very attractive!

This is review is based on their Cold Beverage*** <br/><br/>Visited one of the early mornings to this place in Jumeirah . Ordered for a Cold Frap which was freshly brewed and served to me . It was really good , very much unique in taste and as a add on you can attach a donut as well . Pricing wise it costed me Dhs 26/- only and if you add on the donut it will be additional Dhs 8/- only . Ambience wise the place is pretty small yet decent & the staff people are decent too .

We tried the frap and their red velvet chocolate. The frap was thick and creamy. Loved its consistency and it wasn't that very sweet. As for the red velvet hot choclate, it was a little too sweet for me - but it is good for any sweet drinks lovers out there!<br/><br/>Talking about the ambiance, it's super cute! Very welcoming - absolutely loved it and even the staff and service is great!

So I am somewhat confused.<br/><br/>Depresso's average rating at the time of this review is 3.6 which suggests - on balance - it is above average.  Some reviews here are hyperbolic, bordering on fanatical. <br/><br/>Let's remember this is a coffee shop: it is a single product destination.  Yes you can get it cold, hot, with cream, with other ingredients and, occasionally, adorned with mini-donuts. <br/><br/>Like many places in Dubai (and especially placed tucked away along Jumeirah Road in Umm Sequim), there is more marketing, gimmickry and branding (read: smoke and mirrors) going on than actual substance and distinction.  The decor is great.  Al Quoz-sourced industrial chic, recycled-materials furniture, bathroom tile aesthetic of East London all brought together under industrial lights.  This is Instagram catnip complete with #Bae cups. <br/><br/>The coffee itself is decidedly OK: it's not the best I've ever had, it's not the worst.  It just is.  It is also an inflexible offering: there is no skimmed milk, there is no sweetener. If you like a low cal coffee, you are out of luck.  If you like large coffees en route to work, there is only one size: you're out of luck.  Sitting drinking this iced latte during the day, I struggle to understand what is above average about Depresso.  Its core product is boldly cruising the middle lane.  Parking could also be an issue but that is true for most places along Jumeirah Road.<br/><br/>The service is good but, again, they are serving coffees. I am one of those people who would travel a couple of extra kilometers and spend a few extra dirhams to get that perfect cup of coffee and of course, if the said coffee is Instagram-able, then it'd double hurrah... However, unfortunately this was not the case with Depresso. <br/><br/>To be honest, I was depressed (no pun intended), that for AED 64, I got two tiny cup of iced latte and a complete regular doughnut! I am dismayed to think this is the coffee that has been getting some rave reviews on Social Media.<br/><br/>Of course the place is petite, quirky and just the right amount of fun but that's it! No substance at all, just like the hole in the donut, this place is completely a 0. You can play around with a lot of things but Coffee is not something you should play around with. <br/><br/>I am giving Depresso a 2.5 rating, for the ever so friendly staff, who are super sweet, polite and helpful. Overrated. Milk and sugar with a hint of coffee. The place is cosy and I loved the concept. I only had the cereal latte but I expected better coffee taste.

The concept of a doughnut on top of your coffee is great; however, the fact that the place charges extra 5 dirhams for the doughnuts makes the idea less appealing. I feel like it should come automatically with the drink or at least include its price with the drink price without us feeling that we’re paying extra. Not to mention, when comparing the size of the doughnut to its price, it’s not actually reasonable. I can get a proper normal sized doughnut with that price from a specialized bakery. This ruins the whole concept of it. However, the coffee tastes really good and I would go again.

I was aware about this place through Instagram but did not know where exactly it was till one morning i passed by it. They have a basic coffee menu with options for hit and cold coffee. I ordered a Spanish Latte which was ice latte on the rocks with Caramel syrup which was excellent. They have a signature way of presentation which is adding a doughnut on top which makes it picture perfect too.

A small cafe serving a unique concept of doughnuts on a coffee and primarily offering take-aways. There is very little seating inside the place. It may not be very easy to find parking in and around this place and that defeats the concept of the take away. <br/><br/>The name is a little weird and catchy. They say it is from the belief that coffee is an anti-depressent. <br/><br/>The interiors are decent and the staff are pleasant. I am not the best person to rate the coffee as I am not a coffee person and was here with a friend who is an ardent coffee lover. The concept is hyped with the doughnut being served on the coffee but they weren't very fresh.<br/><br/>We had the Iced Latte and a Spanish Latte. The lattes were good and if you are a coffee lover you will definitely enjoy them.

So I finally tried out the much talked about Depresso Cafe today. My friend had the Pink Choco, which I didn't like at all, although she liked it. I had the Depresso Frap and I must say that it was really good and I could have two of those. But each of these drinks coated DHS 25, which is a bit too much for the quantity of the drinks served. Although my drink was good, I'd probably not have it again, especially not with a mini doughnut which costs DHS 7! <br/>Overally, in my opinion, I feel this place is decent, but not worth all the hype created over it.

They don't really have a breakfast. We came there very hungry, and they only had croissants and doughnuts. "Breakfast" is a trick! Coffee is good, but of course overpriced. Nice decor, but waaaaay too small. I was expecting something much bigger from all the social media advertisement which they are making.

A good place for some decent coffee, interior is quite small and not many sitting arrangements have been made. Ordered the recommended Depresso Frap (25dhs) with a donut on the top for an additional 7dhs. The coffee was nice and sweet ,not too strong. Overall a good place for some coffee.

I came here with a friend 2 days ago at the start of the Eid Break. I had heard about this place quite a lot especially because of the fact that they add a donut on their coffee. <br/><br/>We went and had their recommended Depresso Frap. Being someone who's not too fond of coffee, the waited suggested this to me as it was a good mix of sweet and strong and it is their best seller. For an additional 7 dirham's, you could add a donut as well. The coffee tasted really nice and was perfect for breakfast.<br/><br/>The interiors were quite nice as well and it was a small and cute cafe. I would recommend coffee lovers to try this place out.

Coffee ☕️ & Donuts 🍩<br/><br/><br/>After seeing everyone and their mother post about this place on my Snapchat I gave in and tried it. <br/><br/><br/>Now, this place is super nice inside but small like their neighboring restaurants, but designed well and people usually just honk their horn and have the employees bring them their order. <br/><br/>I got the oh so famous coffee frap with donuts on the straw. For the coffee I liked the flavor, i would say it's more of a milkshake with coffee flavor than a proper coffee, but it was good! I didn't like that I can't adjust the sugar as I'm not a huge sweet tooth person especially with my coffee and especially when there is a sugary donut on my straw. So please please change this so I can come here every day. <br/><br/>The donuts were yummy, they had the Krispy Kreme taste and texture actually they were a little too similar to KK so I was thinking that they might get them from their sharjah factory, but I'm just assuming, I could be wrong. <br/><br/>Overall I thought it was a nice coffee place minus the sugar rush. <br/><br/>Please have more options for the sugar levels!

I have tried depresso's Coffee, their served coffee is okay. Better than some Cafes, their other drinks are tasty though, fresh and refreshing. Quite full sometimes. would be better if they had more space.

Drink in love is great, one of my favourite coffees in dubai, and their doughnuts are just great.. I have one and then end up asking for another, location is great in jumeirah but the parking out in the front is always full.. have to go round a block a few times before a space empties up.. but on the whole it's great! Deco is good, nice concept, however they only have 1 bean to offer to the customers.<br/>The staff a bit weird, not attentive when i was talking to them, it seems they are doing to many thing at the same time and not answering my questions.<br/>I ordered iced coffee, but they didn't ask about the sweetness and it was extremely sweet, i couldnt finish it.<br/>They offer a mini donught with the coffee which is really cute, but please improve your coffee!! Or train properly your staff! <br/>I will go anyways to try again other coffee options.

No wonder this place is making a buzz in town.<br/>Their drinks are veryyyy tasty.<br/>Their signature drink and the best selling one is to die for.<br/>Adding the mini donut on top of the drink is like a cherry on top of the icing.<br/>Creative, yummy and refreshing.<br/>If you havent tried it yet you are missing on something very special.<br/>Highly recommended!

Espresso is an over rated cafe, you see all these cars outside and you think that this will be the best coffee you will drink but it was really bad. I tried the picolo, spanish, and the iced latte and I didn't like any of them. But I congratulate them for their marketing plan because if it was not very good thier coffee will not give them this number of customers.

I'm not some one who gives a 5/5 very easily on Zomato, but this little cafe was about to score a five on account of the drinks served here, the glitch to this cafe is unfortunately is it's staff. I've been here thrice in the past week, mind you this place is quite a drive from where I live. The first time I went here I was really inquisitive about what drink consists of what as their menu provided doesn't give a description of the contents of the drink. So naturally I ended up asking the staff "what is this" for the drinks that weren't self descriptive enough. I get the fact that they're busy due to them delivering the coffee to the car option made available for the customers, but I have never met a team so reluctant on disclosing information when asked. They didn't even look up, they'd utter a word or two after being asked four times, which was at the end of the day not a very pleasant experience. After five minutes of questions barely getting substantial answers leading to the inevitable "what would you suggest", we tried the "Frap" and persistent that I wanted to try a "pink drink" I went for the Drink in love with a donut. The Frap was genuinely the most ordered drink as it was delicious and sinful to the last drop of the ice cream blended goodness. I saw the staff member take an entire crateful of it to serve the drive-way customers. The balance of flavors of this drink is something else altogether. The drink in love priced at AED26 is quintessentially a pink drink, which gets it pink from rose milk. Originally not a fan of rose milk this combination startled me by its taste. It turned out to be the most addictive and smooth drink. This had no ice cream blended in, it consists of coffee and the pink potion. I highly recommend this. The donut priced at an additional 7, was cute to be added over the drink and genuinely bite sized. They have gotten their cups to have #1 bae written which is rather cute. I've also tried the potion devotion which is again good but I'd recommend the above two over that. The potion is pink as well and is coffee-free with fruits infused in the rose milk. It's good for someone who's here and for some reason needs to cut down on the caffeine. This place should think of making a new menu card which genuinely spells out of the contents of the weird words they've kept for their drinks or either train their staff to be a little more tolerant towards first timers who genuinely wish to not throw AED 30 on an average WITHOUT the donut (more if you add the donut) and actually know what the drink consists of to order it or not in the first place for a small sized cup of cold coffee. I intend to only drive through this place the next time and not discover new options in the menu cause frankly I'm quite content with the drinks I've discovered and that way I won't have to go in to talk to the staff who only keeps speaking amongst themselves in Tagalog and not give a customer-appropriate response to the first-timers. That being said, I shall be reducing my trips to this place on account of the distance which is not too much of a problem but the abysmal staff.

I'd give it less than 1. Such and overpriced place for a coffee that tastes like sour cream mixed with soap. Their best seller is an ice cream blend. So that all the sugar would cover their horrible roast. Never again. What a sham

The coffee that i had is frape i dont know about the other people what it really keeps me awake fo a long time but it tastes good 😊 have a try ❤

I think one of the most important things a coffee shop should have is spacious interiors for their visitors and unfortunately this place didnt!<br/><br/>The concept is very cute where you get a doughnut with your coffee, and they have a quirky interior!! I got the cappuccino with a doughnut, the doughnut was yummy and fresh! Coffee was good (average). Would maybe go try their ice drinks too sometime.

Amazing coffee..very smooth and creamy and very filling...my husband and me always share one of their signature lattes..I don't remember the name but it's the only coffee they have which is blended with ice

Nice decor and cute presentation make this a must visit for Instagrammers. My spanish latte was, however, far too sweet. I also dislike the fact that there's no descriptions on the menu (how is one meant to know what a devotion potion or a dark and stormy is?!?). <br/><br/>PS. For all my fellow lactose intolerant coffee lovers, they do have almond milk!

Pretty cool place when it's not swamped with cars waiting to order... Prices pretty standard ...staff super friendly ...but apparently where they get the coffee is secret 🙊 lol ...anyways cool concept over all... That pink donut thooooo ...I can't help but think of the Simpsons 😅

Unfortunately the milk was bad in my iced latte, the price 32 for a coffee is extremely expensive. The donuts aren't anything special. The staff weren't very helpful in explaining the menu. <br/>

I would give 0 if possible. Really terrible tasting coffee and rude staff. The only reason we tried it was because of their aggressive marketing and the hype they currently have, but I know this will eventually die off when people realize that they don't offer anything worthwhile. Save your time and money, go elsewhere!

Pretty cute (they had a sign that said "no wifi, talk to each other instead" that the staff pointed at when I asked them for it) and unique, I had the Depresso latte which was creamy, sweet with just a dab of that coffee taste. Price was a disaster however (32 if you have a doughnut, which was an extra 7 dhs) and the staff weren't the most helpful (had to repeat several times an order even though we were the only ones in the cafe). I think I'll stick to my traditional latte unless I have money to burn.

Honestly I really wanted to try their coffee because it was so popular and almost everyone was talking about it on social media. So I finally made my way to the coffee shop last night only to be disappointed. I'm sorry to say but even Starbucks has better coffee knowing that they are a speciality coffee place. The hype is over nothing. Ordered a Spanish iced latte and there was barely coffee in it. Total disappointment and definitely not going back there again.

The ice cream blended coffee was good for my taste+ fast service + friendly staff. Too sweety for traditional coffee lovers and I wouldn't recommend it for local gahwa lovers. <br/>

The iced Spanish latte was really watered down, it tasted like plain water - had no hint of coffee or sweetener...but the frappe tastes really great, but it may be too sweet for those who don't favour sugary drinks! The doughnuts tasted great, I may come back to try other things but definitely not the Spanish latte.

Finally got my hands on the talk of the town Depresso Frap ... It was perfectly sweet and coffee-ish ... The donut however was one of the yummiest donut i have ever had ... i think i am going back there soooon....

A cafe located in Umm Seqeim, they serve all their coffees with a doughtnut. Who doesn't love doughnuts? 🙄 I tried the iced mint latte which was nice. They have several other flavours like red velvet.

Went with a group of friends to have coffee, I had the piccolo, it was excellent; real speciality coffee. It took a long time to get our order and the cups where not served properly, but the staff are friendly and they fixed that. The table was not clean and we had to ask the staff to clean it. Over all the experience was good

This hidden gem is located in Jumeirah, pretty small since it's mostly take always! I love everything about this place! The taste is not that bad, but the service is ewwwwwwwww ! Like we have to beg them to come and take our order and then they act like they are the customers and we beg them to buy from us and pay. Sorry so overrated, defiantly not going back there.
