The best place to eat authentic Maharashtrian food in Dubai...
I love that sushi ,was amazing of flavor, fresh, everything was so good, one of the best sushi I had ,thank you
Overall nice service , distancing complied , food made fresh . Poha and Thilapeeth were great , puri bhaji was substandard ( too much oil and bland) srikhand was amazing . Cutting chai reminds you of the original..... it just took them more time than we thought every round we ordered
One of my favourite restaurant to have authentic Maharashtrian cuisine. I have visited this restaurant many times before.
I like their vada pav which is the best served with the fried green chilli and red Mumbai style dry chutney. Also Misal is very nice
A small restaurant but with a very good ambience. We were hungry and was in a hurry too so just picked up couple of vada pavs. Must say 1 of the best vadapav i had in recent times. The vadapav was accompanied with garlic chutney which was crunchy and gave good taste to the vada pav and also fried green chilli which was spicy. Will be going soon to try out other dishes. Must try.
A small restaurant in Karam that is The perfect spot for snacks and tea, the vada pav is delicious and so are the sandwiches!
It is an economical place and has a vast menu.
Bottom Line:
If you are a fan of Indian snacks, then this is the place!
I order 1st time from this restaurant .. delivered on perfect time.. delivered fresh ND hot food with perfect packing.. quantity is very good .. I enjoyed my food specially misal pav ... Sabudana khichdi is also good defently recommend thank you hope same service ND taste in future thank you 😊
I have been eating at Curry Lane since it opened in 2015. One thing that stands out for me is the consistency of their food. Everything tastes the same and delicious each time. They follow great hygiene and the food is always fresh. It is the best place in Dubai to enjoy Mumbai street food in a restaurant setting.
I am not missing Mumbai food whenever I go there... Excellent taste... Snack items are worth... Modal pav is my all time favourite.. sabadana khichadi is also tasty here... Snack ending with the special tea is excellent... Just go for it..
Great for Maharashtrian food. Simply delicious 👍🏼
Ordered
Aloo paratha and Bombay sandwich
Cuisine Indian street food
Comfy dine in and simple arrangements
Quick take away
Huge varieties and menu options
Reasonable pricing and pocket friendly opt.
Yum and hygienic and healthy taste
The variety of lunch combos is good. Dal khichri tastes amazing and the portion is huge.
Also try their frankies and cheese dabeli. Misal pav is one of best that i have tried so far
We ordered vadapav, Tawa pulav and Talipet. Talipet was super delicious. Loved their vadapav too. Tawa pulav was good but it was oily. Food was fresh may be that is the reason they take lot of to serve the dish. If u are really hungry they will test your patience. Overall good food and good service.
Best place for snacks. Have tried misal paav, dabeli, Thalipeeth, poha, cutting tea and chole bhature. All of then had an authentic taste. Dabeli is the best of all the dabelis I ever had in Dubai.
I went here randomly for breakfasts. They have very specialised Maharashtrian type food and very popular. On weekends they are totally full.
Food quality is very very good, if you are familiar with marathi cuisine.
Service is good.
I have tried
Toast with butter and jam. At 10 dhs, they are costly. But the taste is the best among all that I have tasted in Dubai.
Sabudana khichdi at 15 dhs is again slightly costly in my opinion but done exceptionally well. Not too oily. Crushed roasted peanuts are perect with boiled potato pieces.
Interiors are done very well with Bombay related terms and familar jargons.
Very well done.
The place is small and you tend to miss it while looking for it. But the food is really good. Nice options in the menu and tasty. Loved the small setup of the restaurant and hence also limits small groups. Air conditioning can be improved, have been there twice thrice and have felt the heat always. Otherwise a nice place to eat authentic Indian foods
Loved the simple yet delicious Maharashtrian breakfast here. Had the poha, which was succulent and non clumpy. Their sabudana vada was not overly oily, was soft and light and tasty. The Thaalipeeth was served with curd and chutney and was crispy and just the right amount of spice.
The decor is nice, took me back to Mumbai scenes! Will definitely come back here for some yummy Maharashtrian delights.
Best place for Veg Mahastrian Breakfast. Love their Misal Pav, Thalipeeth, Kotbir Vadi. Their thecha is amazing. Nice ambience. Also a fab place to go & have pakoras when it rains. Food is always fresh
I loved the cozy white space, clever use of colour, window and space to get it right. The food is very very good, the pav bhaji is spot on, but it's the chaat that scores and has now retained nr. 1 spot on our chaat radar. Well done, pity the reportoire of chaat is limited, could offer more.
Will return and recommend
It was a good experience with The curry lane. Misal pav, vada pav and frenky are match to the indian street food. Ambiance is also good with desi street. It is nice restaurant to test some indian street food. Yummyyyy....
Food is awesome! Second Home! Recommend Pav Bhaji, Paneer Frankie, Chai, Sabudana khichdi, Vada Pav, Bombay Cheese Grill Sandwich, kanda bhajiya and Kokum Sherbet.
Mumbai Street food on your plate in the heart of karama. Cutting chai is the best, but too sweet though. Kokum sharbat is also nice. Thalipeeth is a good choice.
A good experience visiting curry lane today for the first time with my friend. We tried the vada pav , the masala maggie and the cheese tawa pulav which all tasted really nice. Will definitely visit this place agin to try out even more options there.
Neat, clean with trendy decor. It is a delightful little place with an appealing street food menu!
The staff are cheerful, helpful and knowledgeable.
The food was mouth watering. It brought back the nostalgia of standing at a street food counter. As much as I would like to recommend a dish. It is a.hard thing to do, as everything I sampled was excellent.
The pricing is competitive and will appeal to everyone. Enjoyed more than a few cups of.their cutting chai! 😁
You will not be disappointed
Very good vegetarian restaurant. Tried Vada pav, Misal pav, tawa pulav, mix bhajjia platter, mix veg paratha all was very good n a typical mahrashtrian taste. We have been der 2 times n it was very good experience.
Food: Ordered the Chinese Bhel, Szechuan fried rice, mushroom chilli, thaalipeet with curd and mushroom tava pulao.I felt that the Chinese Bhel should have been more spicy than being sweet.Overall, I enjoyed the food and good presentation.
Pricing: Reasonably priced and good quantity.
Ambience: a relaxing vibe with golden hit songs being played in the background, a place fit for munching on Indian fast food snacks with small groups of people, friendly staff and prompt service..
My go-to place in Dubai whenever I want to eat vada pavs. I’m from Mumbai and I’ve tried so many places trying to find the right Mumbai style vada pav and the Curry Lane does it just right. We always ask for onions and extra dry chutney and the staff have always been super accommodating!
Finally tried this place. Ordered for pav bhaji, vada pav and misal pav.
Fresh taste. Nicely done.. delivery was on time. Overall a good experience.
Love the food here, infact the well known Mumbai dishes taste better here than in India or anywhere else here.
Their Vada Pav, Misal Pav, Chinese Bhel, Sabudana Vada are some of the must try dishes.
The service is also fantastic!
Just that its a little over priced.
Nice cozy place in karama with lots of parking. Service is quick & food is good, we tried the pav vada, misal, frankie & Masala pav & everything was good & preferred option for a quick bite. Next time will try their cutting chai
A vegetarian restaurant offers great vegetarian Indian food as just like perfect desi style Maharashtrian food. Tried wada pav and pav bhaji. A taste is just like indian style that is too good.
A nice small cozy place for snacking. Tried their Pav Bhaji and Sabudana Vada. Food tastes very authentic and fresh. I wanted to have Jalebi (which was displayed in the posters they have put for decoration), but they don't serve that :P Would definitely try other items from their list.
Great ambience for an averagely sized restaurant. Good service. They serve authentic Maharashtrian and Mumbai style food.
This was my second time here. Enjoyed a variety of yummy food.
We had :
-Vada pav
-Dabeli
-Veg hakka noodles
-Aam ras puri
-Pav bhaji
-Shrikhand puri with aloo sabji
I'm sure the vada pav is their best seller🤩
Their aam ras is excellent.. Felt like it's home made.. It's to die for 😍👌👌👌
The puri is nice n soft and made of wheat.
We had such amazing pav bhaji after a long time.
I even got a new portion of hakka noodles packed for lunch next day 😁
I'm definitely going back to try out other things on the menu
Excellent food quick service
Tawa pulaov was amazing a quick bite and late night snack would be fun here
Good Jain option dabeli , panner kulcha ,panner chili amazing tea a must try
Quite a place to go to, if you want to have a quick chai and snacks specially mumbaikars snacks and this is the place to go. Missal pav, kanda, batata bhajiya are the must haves with nice masala chai.
I must see Al karamah is a herb for Indian food I also went the curry lane where I tried many e food items like vada pav cold coffee aloo paratha aloo sandwich the food is so delicious
Loved the vada pav and the cheese pav bhaji. Misal pav was good too. Wouldn’t recommend the sabudana vada.
Really chill place with a great variety of snack options. Perfect for a brunch visit.
Seems like a new place opened behind Mr Bakers in Karama. It’s a pure veg restaurant and specializes in traditional and fusion food.
Tried the below dishes on our first visit:
Misal pav - nice flavor and crunch
Batata vada curry - 2 vadas served with a bowl of curry. Vadas were nice and a bit spicy. Not sure how to have the curry with it.
Puri Bhakuni - once again nice flavors. Seemed like the same curry but with more peas in it. Liked the flavour
Last Thu tried the below:
Mango lassi - nice and thick but could be a bit more chilled
Mix bhajiya - nice assortment of aloo, kanda and mirchi
Aloo Frankie - nice and filling but can do with a bit more chilly
Szechuan fried rice - good Desi Chinese flavour
Worth a visit when in mood for veggie food.
Arrey Maast rest baba ...never miss the VADA PAV of this rest its the the best ...friendly staff despite of busy & closing time nearing on Friday afternoon 11:00am they accepted us waiting time was 15mins but worth when get the amazing food like sabodana wada chana puri usal misal pav etc...very kind & friendly staff keep it team curry lane
My favorite place to munch on Misal Pav and cutting chai.
Best place in town for Mumbai / Marathi food. Misal Pav a must try. Vada Pav and Thalipith also good.
We ordered food for 2, both of us liked the taste. The food was also delivered very much in time. They also serve great snacks . Would'nt hesitate to recommend the restaurant for people looking for good food
My love for this place is growing with every new thing I try here! It’s time to write a good review for this!
Firstly it’s one of those few places which serves Maharashtrian cuisine in its full authenticity.. i have tried their Thalipeeth, Sabudana Khichadi, Pohe and Misal so far and the taste has been bang on! They clearly don’t comprise on quality of food and taste! Kudos..
Someone had recommended me to try their misal and I must say it was by far the best and the closest misal in taste to what I have had in Mumbai and Pune! Loved it..
Only concern for me is the quantity part. It’s a bit less for the price we pay I feel. Only if they could improve on that probably .. waiting to try the other items on their menu though.
Tasty and awesome street food
We ordered pav bhaji, vada pav and bombay cheese grill sandwich.
All 3 had the same authentic food taste that you get in the streets of Bombay.
The place to go if you are craving for street food.
Will surely visit again to try the other dishes.
Loved it.
BEEN THERE YESTERDAY WITH ANOTHER FOODIE FRIEND OF MINE FOR BREAKFAST. POHA WADA PAV & MISAL WERE GOOD. ANOTHER FRIEND ASKED FOR EXTRA SPICY POHA BUT WAS SERVED WITH EXCESSIVE GREEN CHILLIES CHOPPED. KANDA BHAJI WAS NOT GOOD. IT WAS SOFT UNLIKE THE REGULAR KADAK & MASALEDAR BHAJIAS V GET NORMALLY. TEA WAS TOO MILKY TO MY LIKING. AMBIENCE IS GOOD & DECOR TOO. BUT GUYS BUCKLE UP PESHWA ALTHOUGH EXPENSIVE SERVES MUCH BETTER FOOD.
The best wada pav in town .... also love the chai, Pooja, Misal pav, pav Bhaji, sabudana wada n khichdi, Frankie is awesome too. Our morning breakfast n evening hang out place!
We have been to this restaurant for a breakfast and had a wonderful experience. Everything tastes as if its homemade. So fresh and delicious. We ordered chola batura , sabudna wada (must try) , veg cutlet, cutting chai (not to miss) batata vada. Everything was mouthwatering.
Quality-5/5
Ambiance-4.5/5 (small place so good for small group)
Service-5/5
Food-5/5
I was so excited to try The Curry Lane, despite the restaurant is vegetarian which is not my type, but i wanted to try the experience, and the food was great, i love spicy food so this was very spicy and it was great for me. the food price is very good. Worth trying.
Sabudana Wada - MUST TRY !
Very crispy, fresh, not oily, amazing...!!!
Served with sweet curd on the side. This didn't go well with the wadas, should try serving it with tamarind chutney.
Paneer Frankie is very good too. Tastes very nice with lots of paneer pcs.
A good size for 1 person. Very filling. Served with mint chutney.
Poha was fresh but very simple. Same taste as made at home.
Great veg. food, good ambience, nice people .
The menu is Mumbai/Maharashtrian based.
Thalipeth, mixed vegetable paratha and dum biriyani are very tasty.
We been to this restaurant almost year ago. Though ambience was nice , it was crowded on particular day . Food was nice and all dishes ordered were good .
Very good taste, quality of food was good
Overall i liked it. I ordered tawa pulav, dabeli.
Specially i liked cutting tea its like typical indian cutting tea.
Had been to curry lane on Friday morning for breakfast. Ambience is good with limited seating and had to wait a bit long as it was busy and the service is slow. We ordered poha, sabudana kichidi and poori bhaji with some chai. All the dishes were good and tasty. Portions appear to be small but are quite filling. Wish they improve their service, otherwise a good option for maharashtrian dishes. Would love to try their lunch options next time!
Drifting towards the Maharastrian Fare with a Vegeterian elan!
THE CONCEPT
Curry lane is a delight for the vegetarians who want to dig into the Maharashtrian fare in its simplest avatar. It is tucked in a lane neighboring Karama GPO. In and around the area there are many restaurants and ample of parking space as well.
THE FOOD
We have tried their food many times and are very happy with the simplicity of the dishes. It comes across as a trustworthy home cooked food without the fancy decorations that are widespread these days.
Thali – We tried their thaali and it is total value for money. Daal, 2 subzis, 4 phulkaas and papad, chutney, achaar. An wholesome meal for a pocket friendly price.
Sabudaana - Sabudana reminds of the home taste and definitely worth trying. Just don’t forget to add lots of lemon juice to it.
Paneer Parantha – Just an average parantha nothing to rave about, rather I felt they could be generous on the stuffing. I personally prefer some other places around that area, which serve awesome paranthas which remind us of “maa ke haath ka swaad.”
Vada Pav – loved the vada pav and the chutneys they served. I am sure it wont disappoint you.
THE SERVICE
They have been around for past 3 years and the experience shows in their service. Except for the peak time during weekends (that’s expected) you can expect a fast turnaround.
THE PRICING
We have witnessed a price rise with the restaurant becoming popular. For some dishes it boasts of value for money and for some surely we feel the prices are high. With the kind of turnaround they do and the no fancy fare of theirs they could tone down their pricing.
Still not a bad deal.
THE HIGHLIGHT
Simple Maharastrian food !
A lovely cozy place with excellent vegetarian street food options ! We visited here on a weekend and the place was packed . We were lucky enough to find one table kind of just meant for us else I would have missed eating here as I was too hungry and didn’t have patience to wait . We tried vada pav, Misal pav, Chinese bhel, Bombay veg grill sandwich , Paneer Frankie and cutting chai. The service was pretty quick . Actually saying I cant say any of these were just good , but they were exceptionally awesome. The vada pav was super fresh and the coconut chutney was spicy which complimented well. Misal pav was simply amazing and we finished it in seconds , Paneer Frankie was flavorful , juicy soft paneer and the Frankie was soft and yum . Bombay grill sandwich was just perfect with that shredded cheese over and crispy grilled bread . Chinese bhel was just the way we love it ! Finally the cutting chai made it a memorable evening ! Reasonably priced , good service , quality food , excellent taste ......This gets into my favorite places without a second thought !
Wow amazing late morning breakfast, no appetite for lunch.... misal pav was the best .... was craving for a long time. Poha, sabodana vada, upma, vada pav, kothimbeer vadi, paneer paratha again super tasty.... nice clean cosy place and pocket friendly ... definitely visiting again. Taste of Mumbai- Maharashtra reminded. Thank you guys... keep delivering good food.
SABUDANA KICHDI was recommended by my friend and thought it would be not that great but the way they blended the simplest ingredients into it made us finish in minutes..
MISAL PAV it's a mixture of poha chat with spicy sprout curry served with pav.. this was a kind of a unique choice which I had never tasted earlier but loved every bit of it
THALIPEETH... this was kind of a methi stuffed multi grain parata served with spicy green chutney and sweet curd.... the green chutney was the star here.. always ask for more serving of the same.
VADA PAV.. Finger licking good.. i loved the vada pav..
Chinese combo thali.. Although I love chinese when there is indian street food chinese is secondary.. but my friend who ate it relished every bit of it..
VEG THALI.. Dal kichdi was the best in it. Also the chappati was super soft, paneer Makhan and potato bhaji was finger licking good..
Adorable! Popped in for a vada pao and cutting chai - both were on point. Need to keep coming back until I've waded my way through the entire menu.
We had vada paav and cheese garlic grilled sandwitch. Both were simply amazing with special mention to the fried chilli and powdered chutney they serve on the side with the vada paav, you can ask for more of those.
The interiors are nicely done with a decent seating capacity.
We finally ended our quick snack with a nice cup of tea

Curry Lane Restaurant is located in Karama near to Karama Post Office and DHA Medical Fitness centre. Tried their Missal Pav and it was one of the best in town! Both the quality and quantity was too good. Tea ☕️ was outstanding and was served in street side like chai glass - Felt as if I am sipping one in the streets of Mumbai..!
Service was good and courteous. Breakfast menu is bit expensive compared to others in Karama as Misal Pav would cost you around 20 Dhms.
Recommended 👍🏻

Great place if you are craving for veg food. Sabudhana vada and misal pav is a must try.

Dabeli tastes soo good you won't even feel you are having this in dubai as it has the mumbai flavours..Veg schezwan hakka noodles and paneer chilly is appetizing..
Staff are friendly..They understand what the customer needs and accordingly prepare the meal for you..
It specialises in authentic maharashtrian food..
If you are looking for customised meals for office party or birthdays, house warming this is the perfect restaurant which is pocket friendly and they give you multiple options to select from..
My experience has been really good and would recommended everyone to visit this place!! ❤👍

This is the first time I went into a mumbai based curry lane restaurant. I throughly enjoyed their breakfast menu. It was all good and delicious. Definitely recommend people to come by and try their breakfast dishes.

1 star less for the taste, otherwise, the hospitality, the ambience, the positivity is excellent.. the price is towards higher side, but the quantity makes it worth it.. good old, long lost dishes we normally miss from back home.. I really wish they do something about the taste.. anyway, I would definitely go again.. Thanks..
