The furniture needs an upgrade

A Hidden Gem for meat lovers and authentic Turkish cuisine lovers. Located at the Ground level of Dubai Festival City the first restaurant at the Riverside. The servings were decent and the taste was yummylecious.

Overall a good experience.

Very delicious Turkish food

Great ambience, friendly staff, had a great breakfast followed with tea. Will definitely be returning. Highly recommended

بصراحة المطعم من اروع المطاعم يلي عرفتها الاكل لذيذ والاراكيل روعة والتعامل ولا احلى انصح الجميع بزيارة هاذا المطعم لان المنظر كثير جميل وشكرا لادارة مطعم باي صبري على التعامل الحلو 👍🏻👍🏻

Nice place to spend time and relaxing with your family and friends,delicious food and warm staff. Deserves to five stars. Highly recommended.

Majority of the info in my last review srill stand But some changes have taken place at the restaurant which are not that great.

1. They introduced a menu. Previously they were Turkish inspired with no menu. I personally prefer that.
2. The prices have increased massively (double the prices). Before they had a good value, but now I'd rather spend the same amount and go somewhere way better or to a better and more well-known Turkish resturant.
3. We ordered a lot of food. But I was shocked when they charged for each Tea served. Not a single Turkish restaurant I've been to charged me for tea after a meal. Unless I order only tea with dessert or with shisha. Never with a meal.

Overall: They seem lost in how to manage or market their restaurant at the moment. I used to visit every now and then, but now my visits well most certainly decrease to almost none. I would still recommend it for the good service, okay/good food, and decent ambience, but honestly you'd pay the same prices for a WAY better Turkish restaurant. One of their unique selling points was their great value, but that's gone. And they need customers to fill the restaurant. Not an ideal decision (too early at least).

Visited By Sabri several times in the past few months and I was extremely impressed.

The restaurant is still relatively new as it opened just last December (2018).

They have a good variety of choices, and good quality food. Similar to many traditional Turkish restaurants there is no menu. Everything is told and memorized by the waiters and they are super helpful. We tried so many different things.

Just like any Turkish restaurant, I would always recommend ordering any type of grilled meat dish. They're all good. But surprisingly their Chicken Tavuk is actually the best I have tried at any Turkish restaurant. I would highly recommend you order Chicken Tavuk if you love chicken.
The appetisers are also so so good. One of the salads had lots of walnuts in it and tasted very very nice.

The service was spectacular. Our garçon's name was Adam. He was very very friendly, catered to what we wanted, and was always there whenever we needed anything. 10/10 for the service every time.

The tea and coffee are both perfect and taste great.
The ambience and design of the restaurant is elegant and classy. Not the classiest restaurant compared to Dubai's standards but it is still pretty elegant to sit in.
The shisha is great and even looks nice.

My two only negative comments is the annoying light show in festival city. It is way too loud for anyone sitting in the restaurants peacefully. I don't find it entertaining much, nor my little cousins did after the first time.
The other small small negative is the dessert. The fruits served were good, but the Turkish desserts were waaaaay too sweet with a bit too much of sugar (qatr). They're good but they can easily be improved.

Also, the location of the restaurant is awkward. I actually knew about the restaurant from their neighbouring restaurant. But the blame is on DFC for such awkward designing of the mall. I believe the restaurants at the sides of the mall (outside) would get a better reach to anyone visiting the mall if they were easily seen and accessible from inside. The designer for the rennovation phase of DFC did not think this through.

Overall: I would highly recommend you visit the restaurant at least once, even if it's for just shisha and a drink. Everything is of top quality. Great service yoo. You will not regret it. I will be visiting regularly for sure.
