They have a lovely beach view facing which makes the dinner experience totally worth it. Would highly recommend this venue for anniversary and special occasions.

Went out with my friend for dinner with drinks to relax after working week. All places on Palm are good but this is one of our favourites. Friendly staff, fresh food and great atmosphere, you can choose table inside or outside on the terrace. If you bring your pet you will get 20 % discount. During day time they open as a beach club.

(التعليق الأصلي) Myself and my 2 friends went for dinner and drinks in Palm Bay last night, and we absolutely loved it. The staff were amazing, they were so nice and they couldn't do enough for you. The food was absolutely gorgeous, I had steak and it was cooked beautifully. The drinks were fantastic as well, they had a great range of cocktails and wines and spirits, and the location was just ideal situated just off the beach on the palm. I will definitely be back.

Went in for a 2 for 1 house beverage drink tonight through the entertainer <br/><br/>They gave us a code scanner to go to the menu for drinks.<br/><br/>We chose g&t and when it came to the bill they charged us 80aed for 1 g&t! <br/><br/>They argued saying that there was a special section of the menu for entertainer and that there is a special price if using that!<br/><br/>A normal g&t is 45aed on their menu. So you don't get 2 for 1 at all. You get 10aed discount! <br/><br/>Complete con. Argued with us. Would not reduce. Will never return despite going there nearly every week before lockdown. <br/><br/>Clearly desperate for any cash as we were the only ones there. And they treated us like dirt.<br/><br/>Entertainer app says approx price for house beverage is 40aed so will report them as this is half the price they actually charged us

I like this place, friendly staff and good music. However charging 105 AED for a half chicken, then it comes with the world smallest coleslaw and fries/plantain is just ridiculous! For an extra 2 AED of cost you could make it much more substantial and have a happy full customer. Don’t be cheap, else you’ll put people off. I’ll come back, but if you ain’t changed it’ll be the last time.

Definitely it’s not as bad as the review says , had been there a couple of times and always it’s a good experience, friendly staff and nice ambiance, food quality is good. I believe they should have a new menu.

RAS BEACH VIBES, 2 starters, 1 main, wine, 2 mocktails: AED 540<br/><br/>You are probably expecting me to have a very sharp point of view about this place given that I am actually West Indian. Don’t worry, I will give you what you’re looking for. At first I was not sure whether Ras is actually calling it self out as a Jamaican or broadly Caribbean restaurant. While it does not use the words explicitly, it is very clear from the vibe, decor and liberal drops of the word “Caribbean” on the menu that it is channelling the spirit of the islands throughout.<br/><br/>There is so much more that this place could do to focus in on a winning Caribbean proposition but, unfortunately, it feels almost every corner. Ras could easily be one of the best beach bars in Dubai with its uninterrupted view of the tranquil beaches on the palm, its own dining area on the sand, additional elevated dining space overlooking everything I mention before and is what appears to be a beach hut style bar. It also sits within the usually busy club Vista mare area on the palm making it conveniently within the slipstream of a number of other licensed watering holes. But honestly Ras seemingly snatches defeat from the jaws of victory. <br/><br/>The live music is a strong start and even the usual stereo music is a well curated list of R&B music. We West Indians love R&B. <br/><br/>Yet when it comes to the food, Ross is trying to be too many things to too many people but least of all to West Indian people. I counted 58 items on the menu and only eight could I plausibly associate with Caribbean food. I also find 58 items to be painfully long with items like fish and chips, nasi goreng and a fish finger sandwich. I am still yet to understand from which part of the Caribbean spaghetti Bolognese originates. Please send messages on a postcard.<br/><br/>We ordered the nachos (not from the Caribbean), jerk calamari (also not from the Caribbean) and curry goat (origins: Jamaica). Confusingly the curry goat claims to be munching on the menu but when clarified with the waitress she confirmed it is curry goat. I am not clear that is actually true having ordered it as it tasted and appeared to be bone-free chunks of mutton (120 dhs). this is one of the more expensive dishes on the menu and shares more in common with a Southeast Asia and curry and it does with a signature Jamaican curried goat. My deep suspicion is that the former is exactly what they were aiming for and not the latter.<br/><br/>The calamari (40 dhs) are brittle rings too thin to taste any discernible squid flavour. The jerk mayonnaise sauce is spicy and vaguely jerkin flavour but overall this seems a tenuous connection to the Caribbean at best. The nachos are nothing special even though we asked for additional minced beef to bulk out the dish. It is however an extremely generous portion at the price point (50 dhs). <br/><br/>Would I come back to Ras Beach Vibes? There is very little to bring me back here. They need to focus on what their core proposition is and everything that features in the restaurant from the food to the drinks to the decor needs to personify precisely the unique value proposition. <br/><br/>People go to the Caribbean for escapism. They’re looking for undiluted joy, a good time, spicy food, strong cold drinks and warm service. There are a small collection of West Indian themed restaurants in Dubai that could also do better but our way ahead of Ras who has a far superior location. <br/><br/>Unfortunately Ras’ current execution reminds me of restaurants on the southern coast of Spain that pretend to be Spanish restaurants but are actually thinly disguised British pubs. <br/><br/>Two other restaurants in this area have closedown because, in my opinion, they did not understand properly what they should be offering and did not commit to the concept. Ras needs to take this into deep consideration as it is mostly empty when other restaurants nearby are mostly full.

Very poor restaurant. Would not recommend. Food took over an hour. They had very limited drinks opposed to what was on the menu. Be careful because description of the menu is very misleading. Also after ordering a specific meal they got the order wrong twice

So disappointed! Went there for the Friday brunch- 3 course meal and unlimited drinks. First issue is they are massively understaffed (although the staff are very helpful once you eventually get to them), meaning it is quite tough to order a drink. Next issue is the food, you should not market yourself as a Caribbean restaurant/bar if you cannot serve a decent meal of Jerk chicken, rice & peas! The chicken lacked ANY flavor and it came served with (just) coleslaw. Thankfully they gave us white rice on request, but that only added to the blandness. Just to note they did serve some sort of a smokey bbq side sauce (not jerk, not tasty). My advice to the chef- ‘Dunn’s river’. Lastly they advertise the brunch as 295 aed, but on presenting an entertainer voucher they somehow feel it is appropriate to increase the price to 395 aed, how is that allowed?! Definitely not worth the money if you consider most other entertainer options. Quality of food was poor and drinks were slow to come, although they did have an influx of staff around happy hour which may be your best bet if you’re close by as the views and DJ do make it worthwhile for some chilled drinks... go, and eat beforehand :)

This place is fantastic if you’re looking to grab a beer and enjoy a cool vibe, however the food is subpar. I wouldn’t recommend it for dinner but would definitely recommend it for some happy hour drinks.

We were in the neighborhood and decided to have a bite. Music was good, great vibe and the service superb. We stuck to a few starters to share which were all good. In particular the calamari, shrimp and falafel were the best. Beer was cold and the cocktails during happy hour well priced. Irish coffees are expensive as well as drinks out of happy hour. Will most likely not be back for a while due to the amount of other restaurants to try on the beach front.

Sorry to say , now this place is over hyped. We went out our way to order some burgers and beers , after seeing so much of it on social media. Unfortunately we were up for the worst meal of the year, because we so wanted it to be good. I took my guests to this place , although they were suggesting another famous place in the same lane that is Tap House. But I persisted them and said this place is promising. I should have kept quite because this persistence of mine ends up with heavy disappointment. <br/>We walk in to restaurant around 9:30pm , the place was crowded but mostly people were having drinks. We ordered two Sweet beef up and inform to the waiter to serve (rare). It looks good when it arrived on to the table, but was not served as per our choice. It was served well done to us , which we came to know while having first bite of the burger 🍔. As we turned around there was no staff to whom we can ask for replacement. We were waited for around 20 minutes for any staff to approach us and ask for feedback so we can ask to change. But got disappointed. All the staffs even with Manager was standing next to there ordering system. We feels like this is our fault to sit at beach side. <br/>Finally we have to manage with our taste buds and had eaten half of those burgers and left disappointed. <br/>You guys needs to work a lot on your customer skills. Reducing the price of beers can only give you more customers but to make satisfy is your duty. You guys need to put your three to four staffs only on the beach sitting area, so that those customers who is in need will get treated well.

Wrapped my afternoon snacks delight with chicken wrap. Amazing food , very juicy and saucy wrap nice music and fast staff for our needs. Job well done!!!

To reach this take ages. I have called up many a times to make reservation and firstly no one answered and secondly message box is complete and cannot accept more messages

Very disappointed with the quality of food. I remember eating here around 5 months ago which made me come back to this restaurant again while I was in a trip to #dubai. But this time feels like I was in a different restaurant. Now they started calling themselves as an International theme based restaurant. It was an Ethiopian cuisine in the beginning of 2017 , changed to Caribbean cuisine in the mid of 2017 , and finished with an International cuisine. What a joke !!! Even though there menu is 90% same compared to Caribbean & International cuisine. The only good thing is their house music. DJ Tebo is amazing. <br/>But music is not only thing which makes you come in the restaurant again and again. Food quality needs to be improved. Else very soon this International cuisine will also change to some other cuisine.

For sure will never visit this restaurant again and will not recommend that place, food really disgusting no taste as well taking ages to get drinks seem like there is no one willing to come this place that’s why make everything so cheap. It’s seem they have no clue how to run the restaurant with rules changing every single time food menu 99% wrong and not available taking hours to come on table. Look like unprofessional chef working in the kitchen without knowledge of food and how to cook really disappointing 😒😒😒😒😒

What lovely and accommodating staff. We were a group of 10 with 2 infants and the staff were super nice and helped us corner a section where we could entertain our kids. The music was fab. Will definitely visit again.

Terrible experience,<br/><br/>A non hospitable restaurant in Dubai. They treat their guests as a beggar. At first when we ( me & 2 of my friends ) came here there is no one to host or greet us. We helped ourselves to get a table at there beach side. We have to wait for 20 minutes for waiter to come on the table. Then he took our order. After we placed our order we waited 40 minutes for ours salads and starters. Then for second course we again have to wait for next 40 minutes. We called waiter and asked for food. He saw us like we did some crime and didn’t said anything just left from there. When a second waitress was passing by from that side we called her (philipino) asked her to call manager. Manager took 25 minutes to come. Which literally pissed us off as we never saw such type of frustrating service and the way a manager reply. He was very rude and don’t know how to talk to his own guests ( saying sorry we have less staff today).<br/>As we all knows that first experience is the last experience. I will never recommend this restaurant to anyone even for their first visit.<br/>Very disappointed with the manager,the way he manage,if he knows he is having less waiters then he should hire more rather saying to his guest that we have less staff.<br/>Will never come back.

Extremely slow service! If you are going to the restaurant with expectations of Caribbean food... Wrong place... Awesome views, nice decor, good drinks but service and food really puts this place down.

We had dinner (2 people) on a Thursday, we had the caribbean platter which was perfect for 2 (the coconut rice was to die for) and enjoyed a decent bottle of white wine which was at AED99 (daily offer apparently). <br/>However, the service was a bit slow and the music didn't really match the place but a part from that all was great and the food so delicious.<br/> <br/>We really enjoyed our time.

I’m definitely never coming back to this place. We were the only table and the sandwiches took forever to come. The service is horrible and the staff are rude. Everything we asked for wasn’t there including a mug, a beef burger, and fries.<br/>The only good thing is the beach seating area and the view. Not worth your time nor your money.

Really good place, easy to find - Vista Mare on The Palm, chilling, great music - live and DJ, now You can sit on the beach and enjoy good food, fresh juices. Prices really good, happy hours and affordable brunch. Will definitely come again :)

Super relaxed environment with great food and excellent live music. I expect this place to become very very popular so better get there soon ! The special price on drinks make this one of the best value destinations in Dubai .....
