Nice cafe in Umm Suqeim with lovely ambience. Caught up with a friend for a coffee. The coffee and muffin was delicious.
What a pleasant place to satisfy your taste buds .. I had their coffee & carrot cupcake combo , one of the best carrot cakes with butter cream topping I have ever had .. so fresh and moist .. !! I love their set up .. parking is sometimes a problem but it’s worth the wait .. A must try hotspot in umm Suqeim!!
Such an amazing experience. Was our first and won’t be our last visit . There is a large variety of different types of foods you can order from healthy to foods that will satisfy your cravings.
Ordered:
•Beef Waygu Tacos
•shrimp Tacos *with a chipotle sauce so a bit spicy*
•chicken Tacos
Each of them came with little limes to squeeze on top of each taco which gave it that extra punch of flavor. As well a delicious tomato salsa (not too spicy)
Drink:
• Fresh Watermelon juice ( medium size 500 ML )
Ambiance: 5/5 *calming seating area to eat good atmosphere *

Fresh seafood. Try the salmon tataki and tuna poke and you won’t be disappointed.

Loved the ambiance in the upstairs seating area - cozy and earthy with the hanging plants. Leens greeted us with a temperature check, and they used contactless menu and ordering - well in line with covid restaurant precautions.
Came here primarily for the açaí bowls, since they seemed to have a wide variety of options. I was pleasantly surprised with the extensive smoothie bowl choices, especially with the base, which ranged from cupuaçu (never heard of this till Leens), pitaya, soursop and the classic açaí bowl. I ordered the cupuaçu bowl which came with cocoa nibs, maple-crusted pistachios, cashews, strawberries and mint. Loved the combination - the crunch, sweet and sour got along all great! 🤤
Loved their vegan dessert options! I ordered the vegan coconut matcha cheesecake, which I highly highly recommend! The cashew cream was light and airy with no lingering aftertaste, and the matcha balanced so well against the coconut! The crust was essentially dates and walnuts, which I LOVED since I’m a sucker for healthier options that work well.
I’d definitely come back to try more bowls, vegan food and desserts! Leens is a lovely vegan spot in the city, and I highly recommend 😍
The stuff is really accommodating and helpful; they have food for everyone from meat to seafood, from classic burger to trendy poke bowl and açaí bowl and vegan choices too.
A mix between fancy and easygoing it’s a nice cafe where to have lunch and make everyone’s taste satisfied!
The selection and level of quality of the vegan food in this restaurant is unmatched in Dubai.
Great food and great service! Special shoutout to Jayson and Salvador. Loved the food options, nice ambience, and fantastic service.
They have something for everyone! Omnivore, pescatarian, vegetarian or vegan you will definitely find something that suits you. AND the food is delicious! As a vegan with omnivore family this place is perfect
Cute atmosphere and decor, staff were nice but the food was the best part. Lots of options for vegans (Try the carrot cake omg yummm) as well as non vegans. My breakfast was very tasty and they served “the best French toast” my mum has ever had! Thank you for a lovely morning 👍🏼
superb quality food...variety of menu...friendly staff...must try sushi n tacos.
Amazing and fast service! Food was delicious, and it was erred within 10 minutes. Staff is friendly and drinks are also amazing!
For the first time have come here. I did really enjoy my evening since I stepped into this restaurant until the moment I left. Thanks for this experience, divine taste, healthy food , cozy place and great atmosphere. I’d highly recommend Leen’s to my friends and acquaintances. If you are there ask for Jerald, I was served by him. He will definitely accommodate all your requests ☺️.

This is a gem of a place that you hear of, but don't know where it is located. It is on the main road though so it's not that hard to find.
We came very early in the morning, so the place was very quiet. The staff were super friendly, and helped us with the order:
Avocado & Eggs - three poached eggs on toasted rye bread, olives, sliced avocado, rocket & pomegranate.
Omelette - stuffed with Danish Blue Cheese & Caramelized Onion, chives, with toasted rye bread & green salad on the side.
Both were perfectly cooked, and fresh!
We also had their specialized Chemex coffee, which was strong and perfect for a morning kickstart.
Gourmet food with a price and set up of casual dining. Poke bowls are very delicious!
Nice comfy place to spend time. Very friendly service, which gives you enough space to do your own thing but very prompt when asked anything. Cold coffees are really nice. We tried chicken roll, which was delicious.
Bit of a hidden gem as it's an upstairs of a surf school. The food is fresh and delicious. Would highly recommend the Mexican eggs or the huge English fry up breakfast they do. The coconut cappuccino was creamy and sweet.
My favorite restaurant and place to get together on Dubai. Laid back. Lots of options for high quality healthy and tasty food for a wide range of dietary restrictions. It can get packed at certain time of the day. Lovely ambience and I appreciate that they support artists in the community
The cafe and Ambience was good and the hospitality was also good. The starters could have been more better. The food was well and we enjoyed a lot. A must go place if the quality of atarters could be more improved.
Healthy food with out the standard slim but high sugar dressings to be savored after a beach work out. Good spot, should make a plan to go again
Went for a quick lunch. The staff is very welcoming and helpful. Ordered one of their vegan dishes the soba noodles and tofu salad. The dish was served quick and very well presented. Thanks Surf Cafe team.
Had a great lunch today at the surf café. It was very busy so the service was a little bit slow but staff were friendly.
I ordered salmon poke and orange kicker; it tasted amazing and the portion was really good; the orange kicker was so fresh and good! I Highly recommend it!
Love the different açaí options, especially the peanut butter. Very good place for a healthy breakfast. Pretty popular, sometimes a bit too crowded.
Went on Sunday night and everything we ordered was fantastic especially the sea bass! Delicious .. service was on point , attentive And pleasant.
Went with more friends on Monday night and service was disappointing, and Friend wanted to chicken but was not available. And waitress took one of Friend’s paper napkins and wiped the table ??? We need to take the new paper napkins ourselves even the spoon .
Perfect ambience, sitting outside on a lazy winters day. Sushi was so tasty and the ginger tea was outstanding. The staff are welcoming too.
By far the best breakfast in town! Everything is just perfect, the variety, the quality of food, the vibe and the service! Being vegan I usually don’t have many options to choose from but at the Surf Cafe you’re spoiled with options. I just love this place and appreciate the consistency and quality.
Went to this place on a Saturday for late breakfast and was thoroughly impressed by it! Parking is a bit of a pain and we had to wait for a table (as you would in any good place in Dubai!) but it was well worth it! We had the Chia açaí/mango/coconut pudding and Eggs Benedict which were both really good. Recommend this place for a weekend breakfast!
Great food, coffee, service and vibe. Easy spot to spend a few hours hanging with friends or bring a laptop to work.
The chicken wrap and mussels are a big winners!
This is one of finest breakfast place i have been.five stars for the ambience , presentation and taste. Very good customer satisfaction service and quick delivery. Def will come back ....
A perfect spot for a healthy casual brunch/lunch in Jumeirah, very busy during weekends so be prepare to wait 15 minutes for a table. The choice of food is interesting, and I wanted to try all the menu which is on tablets by the way! So original! A bit expensive but it deserve a trial!
I was recommended their Acai Bowl sometime back so after a walk on the beach we headed there for breakfast. Although the Acai (I ordered the one with peanut butter, banana and cacao nibs) was amazingly cold and delicious, I had to wait quite a long for it! :( My friend ordered the mushroom omellete which was quite average.
The interiors were very instagram worthy BUT I have to say if the location faced the beach it would have had stayed true to it's name ;)
Looking for a place to meet friends for a healthy bite, then this place is just right for you. They offer healthy breakfast and acai bowl with fresh fruits. The environment is upbeat and lively. @thecutleries
Very fresh sushi (for delivery too) and very cool place to dine in as well. Favorite dishes are the gluten free pancakes which taste even better cold the next day with honey and berries and the sushi bento box. Sometimes they use a little too much wasabi but otherwise the food here is great.
Been here a few times. Good burger and sweet potato fries. Sushi and other dishes are a bit average but still a decent restaurant to try if driving down beach road.
Chilled out environment for a lazy friday brunch. Love the menu and portion size. Beach access from the back side of the cafe. Go for early morning run or swim at the beach and enjoy a hearty breakfast later.
I went here specifically for their collection of iced coffees and although it was really expensive (and very little in quantity as compared to how much they charged for it), I really loved the gingerbread iced coffee with marshmallows. Also a little disappointed that they didn’t really have outdoor seating space, which would have been great for winter. The selection of iced coffees is amazing, you’re spoiled for choice but be ready to shell out a large sum of money for it. I wish they’d at least increase the quantity !
Love the gluten free pancake! I always go on breakfast with my friends on weekends. Friendly staff, the place is nice and relaxing. A healthy option around Jumeirah beach road.
Brilliant atmosphere, fun and happy staff and excellent food. Large variety for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Great sushi and coffee. A little pricey but well worth it. A family favorite.
Surf Cafe food and drinks is delicious, tasty and has ambience for any experience. Definitely recommend and a must try for all. Will always come back here.
Showstopper - Açaí fruit bowl, with a side of granola (to be requested separately) - tiny bit of heaven 💕
Service - super friendly and smiley staff served me :)
Ambiance - cozy comfy, chilled out cafe vibes
Food - good quality and averagely priced
Definitely going back for more Açaí 🤤
Went for breakfast:
Americano: smooth, perfect
Avo eggs on toast: delicious, perfect, even asked for gluten free bread which was provided
Vegan banana pancake: delicious, kinda heavy but shared it with two others, great way to end my meal and start my day
Zero complaints!
Cozy cafe with plenty of vegan dishes.
The staff were so nice and friendly.
The vegan pancakes were extremely delicious, they taste like pb&j but even better.
The acai is pretty nice too as its not blended with many ingredients and you can customize your own blend but highly over priced for the portion served.
Favorite food and restaurant in Dubai.
Breakfast lunch and dinner options! My favorite dishes are Tuna Poke, Veggie Poke, Shrimp Tacos..!
So far, the best breakfast I have had. The quantity in each plate is just right, healthy breakfast overall and it’s obvious from the blend of flavors that the chef meticulously planned the plates. I would highly recommend it for early birds (place opens at 7am) and the service is friendly and efficient. I’m not exaggerating in stating that I had THE best house-made sausages (chicken) here. Beetroot muffin in the surfer’s breakfast was delish. Ambience is great too, perfect lighting and large windows gives an open feel. Loved it, loved it.
When you’re looking at this restaurant from the outside you will think that its a typical small coffee shop where you can grab some light snacks and coffee. However, this restaurant has a completely different concept. When you enter inside you need to go upstairs for the main restaurant. You can use the lift or staircase. It’s 10:30am and they’re completely pack. Someone will assist you to your table and they will give you a tablet where you can choose your order. Staff was friendly and service was absolutely amazing. I like it when they’re having this color coding for the cups and plates for ladies and gents. Food and presentation/plating was all good. Nice place for people who likes healthy food. Definitely will go back again.
Honestly one of my favorite spots in Dubai. Great summer ambiance, friendly staff and a huge selection of dishes with lots of healthy options. The coffee and matcha latte are well executed. Although the menu is not particularly creative, it goes straight to the point and quality is always there. Great crème brulée as well.
The only place which I plan to frequent; especially for breakfast. The options, ambience, setup & style of this place is very inviting. On a weekend, there may be a slight wait but it is worth that wait. Rating it less because I'm yet to go back to get a feel of the consistency in the service & food. Must try, vegan or otherwise.
A very trendy, beautifully decorated cafe with the summer vibes of waves, beaches and colours. Had their acai bowl and vegan chocolate mousse. Friendly staff! Quick service. I love the location of the cafe. Do try their breakfast.

I come here quite often, as this place being one of the Great place for breakfast . As I found today, the place is open during Ramadan timing as well. Works for me as I fancied some breakie on Tuesday, 8am, turnip place is quite as it can get, calm and nice, great way to start the day. Where as you would find hard to a get a decent seating on a Weekend. Either Way I like this place, the staff makes really comfortable and food is excellent! Place have Lots of healthy option, if that is your thing and you go all the way for a big breakfast too! They also have fish and suci options during lunch and dinner, which I am yet to try.
Had early dinner with my friend here. Ordered vegan options of Soba noodles & tofu, sweet potatoes & wild rice and tacos. The noodles despite it is not a hot dish were very very tasty and the wild rice salad too. I was very impressed. I will come back for those noodles again. My compliments to the chef.
The pictures are from the other time we went to surf cafe and pancakes and vegan breakfast but were not impressed.
And this time I was really impressed.
Very good! Tried this place for the first time on a weekend and it was buzzing; had a short wait for a table to become available. Ordered my breakfast, very tasty and came quite quickly despite being advise that the kitchen was busy and delays could happen. I am a a big fan of coffee, theirs was very good, just wish the cups were bigger (just so I could get more, of course). Ksenia was our waitress (and came to find out, the manager too), great job, great team, will be back soon for more.
Once again I visited Surf Café for a delightful breakfast. I enjoyed the Eggs royale and finished off with sharing the French Toast. I found both of the dishes very delightful. The only reason I don’t give this place 5 out of 5 was because if the loudness. It was really buzzing and crowded and the sound volume was very high and a bit disturbing, although it had nothing to do with the food or service it does reduce the full on satisfaction of a visit.
Passed by The Surf Cafe a couple of times, and decided to check it out on the 13th of this month before heading to the beach.
The people were friendly, menu variety was superb, taste was on point!
We just loved it.
During the rush time we weren't really looked over as much , had to raise our hands many times to get something, but it's no biggy.
Will come back soon, it's our new little hidden gem.
My favorite place I like the atmosphere of the surf cafe and the food is so delicious but the prices are high and I have a small note about the edamame it was not cooked well the last time but the cafe is woow for me and the staff were so nice 💗
Amazing breakfast! We had frappe’s, vegan banana pancakes and the smoked salmon, avo, egg white tartine - all delicious! I can’t wait to go back again soon to try some of the other dishes on the menu that also looked so good!
I really liked the green tea flavored tiramisu that I had here, was super yummy and unlike anything I’ve had before. They also have good coffee, very friendly staff, and a nice calm atmosphere. Their upstairs seating is very nice. Will try their savory items here one day.
Great surfers vibes restaurant and cafe; I came here for breakfast twice, once I tried the eggs Benedict with beef bacon and I liked it a lot, the second time I tried the pancakes which were't very delicious compared to other pancakes in the area but thats probably because their gluten free.
The vibe and service are very nice and I liked their hot chocolate.

After so many years in Dubai The Surf Cafe is still my favourite place for sushi in Dubai. I have also had their acai bowl and some other items but sushi is where it is at. Weekends are super busy but weekday evenings run at a more relaxed pace so visit then if you want a quieter evening.
Arrived on Friday midday time, surprised how the place was full and hardly found a place to seat, given the tablet menu which was very informative with a nice photo for every dish on the menu... i opted for the eggs on avocado .. it took sometime , but when arrived , it was very nice and one of the best poached eggs i had in a while... service was friendly.. overall was good atmosphere..
Found Surf on Deliveroo, and they’re the new sushi take out favorite.. Shrimp tempura sushi is good and I also like the spicy edamame!! Always happy to find a good sushi place in Dubai..
Came here for breakfast this morning and I was nothing but amazed and satisfied. The atmosphere is great, the service is friendly and quick, and the breakfast is wow. We order the surfers breakfast which basically came with everything including coffee or tea and juice or water. We came hungry and left full and satisfied. I can’t wait to come again and try other options as well as try their unique coffee flavors such as the gingerbread latte. You must come here for breakfast.
The food is really yummy, the staff attentive and kind, the serving is fast! Prices are a bit high comparing with other similar places. Açaí bowl’s are soooo good, I tried Lotus and it’s amazingly sweet, however small portioned.

loved the food. many options there for breakfast and loves there sushi for dinner as well. the decoration was lovely . staffs were really nice.
I love breakfasts at The Surf Cafe! Avo on toast and poached eggs is a must and I also love the "make-your-own" Acai bowls! The atmosphere is always lively - it's a great place just before hitting the beach!
I was hesitant to go there on Fridays as I read that it is always busy and packed during the weekend, but it was almost empty as we went there at 5 PM.
It was such a pleasant experience and we were satisfied and happy with most of what we ordered.
We had the fried sweet potato for a starter and it was quite tasty. I would just go there for the sweet potatoes!
For the main course we had the sea-bass and it was quite good. The salmon tacos were delish, but I did not like the addition of the rice to the tacos. As for the salmon sushi rolls with cream and avocado., they were fresh and tasty.
We had a different fried eel rolls (named crazy something), but it was not really fresh or tasty. It lacked the flavor and it was less than average.
Overall, our dinner was light and tasty, and we are definitely going to visit the Surf Cafe again.
