Went to try out the Lunch set menu. I mean everything was just perfect!! From entree to main course to desert - it was an absolute TREAT!

I was really enjoy the food and the view of burj khalifa there. Unfortunately, the service isn’t up to the 5 star hotel standard. The staff was totally unprofessional especially when I celebrated my birthday night

I was there for ladies night and was highly impressed with the service, food, drinks and vibe! The Burata salad, Tandoori carrots were mind blowing! <br/>The staff is extremely warm and welcoming right from the entrance to every area of the restaurant. They make you feel so comfortable and important at all times. Very friendly service staff and managers.<br/>Would definitely visit again soon.

CÉ LA VI is a swanky bar and restaurant on the 54th floor of the Address Sky View in Downtown Dubai. When you’re that high up, the focal point is always going to be the view. So, it comes as no surprise that the restaurant has a wrap-around glass display of Downtown Dubai in all its glory – centrefold being the magnificent Burj Khalifa. There’s a dining veranda which runs around the restaurant; no doubt the place to be when the weather gets cooler. Being a bar, smoking is permitted but thankfully, there is no shisha (it’s not that kind of a venue).

We had a pleasant dining experience at Ce La Vi, however, I'd like to add a few comments regarding our customer experience. We were served by Mohamed, a lovely waiter who was attentive and helpful. We had a great and delicious dinner but what was disappointing that the plates were rushed to be cleared away, for example, I was still eating but he started taking away other guests plates, in my view, this is rude to clear the dishes whilst someone is still eating. It would be appreciated if this could be communicated to the staff during the training brief. Also, one more note, when making a reservation I ordered a celebratory cake, so when we finished our main course we were expecting to have a small treat to fully complete our meal. We didn't order any dessert because we were so full and I knew we were going to receive this celebratory cake so instead we've just placed an order for teas and coffees. Unfortunately, the cake has never arrived. When I was leaving, I asked Mohamed if the celebratory cakes was forgotten about, he explained to me that he was waiting for the dessert order to be placed first. Well, that's a shame, because we kind of expected it to be brought with the teas and coffees. A little disappointing, especially when during reservation the hostess asked for the name to be written on the cake. I hope this little glitch can be addressed and rectified for other customers or on my next visit. <br/>P.S the main dining restaurant was freezing, the AC was way too powerful for what's needed. <br/>Black cod dish was too sweet and not well balanced. <br/>

This place was always on my list because of that famous and beautiful “swing”. Honestly, I didn’t go with higher expectations with food and went more for the view and ambience. <br/><br/>Ambience- I cannot stress enough of how beautiful is the view. This place will probably come in my “one of the most romantic restaurants” list. Just a little advice, i would recommend to go in the daytime, as the pics with the swing and the background Burj Khalifa view will come out definitely better in the day time than at night.<br/><br/>Food- So i definitely had to order a Risotto, and when i read on the menu a “Truffle Risotto” i am like that is it, i am sold. It didn’t fail to surprise me, the taste was sooo rich and the portion was HUGE as it was easily good enough for two people. Also, my hunt for Risotto is still on, but this one is already in my “best Risotto” list in Dubai. For desserts i ordered a dark chocolate fondant with beetroot icecream, I was so excited to try the beetroot icecream and it was yumm, the fondant was perfectly runny and rich in taste. <br/><br/>Overall- The vibe, the view, the ambience is just so perfect. The staff was very friendly, i guess it was Vince who attended us and made sure we order what we feel like having. I just feel its a bit over pricey, as i have been to restaurants of such level and still paid a little less of what they charge. <br/><br/><br/>

As per a fine dining restaurat, service way below the standards! Staff rude, not really polite, since table booking till bill payment.<br/><br/>Unfortunately, experience was not good, execpt for the nice place and good food and drinks.<br/><br/>Issues:<br/>- table booking, big table, birthday celebration, no difference in service<br/>- booking confirmation says self parking, which there was valet parking available <br/>- arriving at the restaurant: table not ready, tried to squeeze all guests in small tables<br/>- staff rude, didn’t introduce the restaurant, showed menu or explain anything <br/>- bill payment: tried to charge something extra that was not even there, even though paid some amount whitout knowing what was it for<br/><br/>Mainly, if you call it a fine dining, asking for a table booking and time, also the occasion as a celebration. Really wanted to try out this restaurant for a while. After reading reviews prior to going to the restaurant I didn't know what to expect as they all focused on negative service. <br/><br/>After a really positive experience, I wanted to add a review on here as I feel overall feedback is a little unbalanced. <br/><br/>Service was friendly & efficient, very pleasant all round.<br/><br/>Food was high quality and delicious. Particularly liked the Wagyu tartar starter. Also, the lamb neck main could actually serve 3 people with sides...the flagship truffle risotto also pretty good but maybe a bit hyped. <br/><br/>Drinks were potent and quick to arrive.<br/><br/>View was excellent and I cant wait to get back here in the winter months.<br/><br/>There was a little bit of a worse for wear boozy brunch crowd still hanging about the place by 8pm but generally it was chill.<br/><br/>So overall, give it a try for sure. I will be back. Also, really want to try the pool that set-up looks savage.<br/>

Food is good however service is below zero. <br/>I was celebrating my girlfriend’s birthday. Several incidents have happened which show total lack of professionalism and bad service. I’ll list my experience in the below:<br/><br/>1- At first we asked from where we can go to the outdoor area to see the nice view of Burj Khalifa. Server mentioned that we have to use a door that is far from us (which is definitely okay), however we’re not supposed to use the door that is directly next to our table. What got me really annoyed was the server herself kept using that door and then people kept going in and out of that door so hot air was coming on us all the time. The server then realized that I got annoyed and apologized and stopped using it as she knew she did something wrong. <br/>2- I tried to call the number mentioned on Google which is the same number of the restaurant but no one ever answered even after trying multiple times on different days. I tried to call to do the reservation to inform them that I’m celebrating my girlfriend’s birthday and to see what are my options for a birthday cake. Taking into consideration that no one answered I went ahead and did an online reservation and I clearly mentioned that I am celebrating my girlfriend’s birthday and I mentioned her name. Are you didn’t get any reply from the restaurant recording my options for a birthday cake. Even at the restaurant I was either expecting a complimentary birthday cake or someone to tell me is I wanted something of that sort. But the server didn’t even bother and ask about any. So I actually went to the server telling my girlfriend that I want to stamp the card for the valet parking and instead I ask the server about the cake where She said that it will take five minutes to prepare the cake however it took them almost 15 minutes and we have previously already paid so my girlfriend got really annoyed on the idea on why we have to still keep waiting. <br/>3- When the cake has arrived I was extremely disappointed to see that the name was written incorrectly also I have clearly mentioned the correct name in my booking online. <br/>4- What further increased my disappointment Is that the person who welcomed us at first and give us the table came back to us at the time the birthday cake was served And told us that our time is up and we have to move to the bar area instead. This is extremely unprofessional as she can see that it’s a birthday cake and the candle was still there and we didn’t even start with eating the cake. <br/><br/>I would have spoken with the manager at that night if it wasn’t my girlfriend’s birthday however I didn’t want to ruin the night even further and waste more time. <br/><br/>Nice place with nice of you however I would never visit this place again due to the worst service I’ve ever experienced in my life. Highly unrecommended.

A contemporary Asian restaurant located in Address sky view, with a landmark view.<br/><br/>We were there for set lunch - 3 courses including salad, main course and dessert. The portion of the food is a big surprise; every dish is quite huge, like a sharing size. The salad is nice, just the burrata is not soft and creamy enough. The side dish of salmon, potato terrine is very delicious. Grilled baby chicken is tasty. Dessert is quite so so, I can't taste the miso flavor and the mousse is too oily, I thought it's just heavy cream. Mango cheesecake is beautiful but too sweet to me.<br/><br/>Overall the restaurant is quite nice, will try to have dinner there next time.

It's a wow place to visit but service experience kinda below level. Even random McDonald outlet surpass their staff customer service experience. So its such a shame of being branded a fine dining restaurant while staffs are nastily arrogant. Food wise is good but not the type you will come back for more. Period.

The place has been a huge disappointment for two times.<br/>I booked few days earlier to ensure we have a table and they mentioned a minimum spent but nothing about only staying for two hours.<br/>I was there with my friends and the manager/waiter came and asked me to move to another table because my two hours are over. However, that wasn’t the case for the people around us. When I asked, he said: I am sorry but they are paying more than your table although we went over the minimum spent already by that time. Such a disappointment for a fancy restaurant like that. Saying I am sorry but changing table is better than kicking you out is not a sentence to be said in a 5 star restaurant.<br/>You say it at a cheap dinner

The atmosphere is really nice and the staff is very attentive. The food quality is good. The views are amazing. It was booked for birthday dinner and placed in the booking notes however nothing special was done which loses the meaning of asking what occasion you book for. My friend asked them in front of me to put a candle on my dessert at least.

If your looking for a fun night out with food that will wow you this is the place to go to. Everything was 10/10 if not more. Ill start off by saying that Chef Howard Ko was an amazing host, and we had the pleasure and honor to meet him while he served us our starters and main dishes.<br/><br/>When you first enter the place you can feel the vibrant atmosphere. Music that is appropriate and not loud, people that are all well dressed and elegant, the nice decoration and interior design of the place. So before even sitting down at your table the place wows you.<br/><br/>We had one of the best dinner tables with the view of downtown dubai and burj khalifa. I recommend to request for a similar table if you are going on a date.<br/><br/>Chef Howard then came by our table and served us his recommended bread and dips with wagyu beef charcuterie. Each dip is special and unique in its own way, you will probably need more bread because you are going to want to finish each and every last bit. The wagyu beef charcuterie is second to none and I recommend you have it while you are having the dips as well.<br/><br/>For the mains Chef Howard recommended us to get the Giant Garlic Prawns and Grilled Marinated Baby Chicken. He was spot on! The giant prawns are one of the best prawns you will have with amazing flavors at each bite. My girlfriend and i were arguing who is going to have the last piece (thats how good and special this dish was). As for the baby chicken, i loved everything in it but the what makes it special is the sauce and the coconut rice which is a bit of a risotto.<br/><br/>Chef Howard was super nice and kind enough to serve us a complimentary Black Truffle Risotto which was out of this world. I know you might be thinking how did two people all this food. We do not even know how, but we managed to because of how amazing each dish was and not wanting to let anything bite go to waste.<br/><br/>We ended our food journey on a perfect note with a Dark Chocolate fondant!<br/><br/>After having all the amazing food, you can spend the remaining of your night having a drink in the lounge area.<br/><br/>Thank you again to Chef Howard Ko and the staff for an amazing experience and can't wait to come again soon! I highly recommend you try this place for dinner if you live in dubai or visiting.

The Burj Khalifa and downtown view is breathtaking!!!<br/>DJ is very good too. <br/>I loved the beef tartar, beef ribs and sweet donuts for starters..The lamb neck was OMG best for main course.. I first visited Celavi in the first week of June and I was blown away by the exquisite food and ambience. The restaurant is located on the 54th floor and theres an outdoor seating with an incredible view of downtown. <br/>We ordered kale salad and burrata to start with. The kale salad was just amazing, the dressing was something different. We had tomahawk beef (Ive cut down on red meat so I didnt have it but my friends loved it!) I opted for black cod and it was so delicious! Then we ofcourse had to try their desserts, we ordered miso vanilla mousse and creme brulee cheesecake, now these arent your ordinary classic desserts even from the sound of it! they put together flavours you normally wouldnt put together but worked very well it was outstanding! Went again on the 26th June and tried their cauliflower starter, donut mushroom balls, buccatine pasta and truffle risotto! Love them all highly recommend ❤

If there is a rate of zero i would really choose.. It was my birthday and I refused to blow a candle because of their disgusting rude staff specially the two. supervisors.. Ignore and bad attitude.. Will make any one hate this place. I read negative reviews below but did not expect to be that rude.. Never think of going there ever again.. Its extremely bad.. You book tables they give you the worst you ask to change but according to likes and dislikes they do the change.. They watch you calling for them and they acr they didnot see you so you have to get up from your place and tell them how disrespect.. You see them whispering and negotiating how to make you leave.. I advixe rhe owner to get rid of the two supervisor's there as becauae of their attitude i consider this place the worst in Dubai

I had heard about this place many times. It’s very cool and fancy, the view is amazing (and of course you pay for it). The staff is very nice, especially Mark. I enjoyed the food, bucatini cacio e pepe was a very good plate. I have some doubts about the wine, both of us felt very bad during the night, it could be only the wine because the food was different and was very good. Total amount for one bottle of wine, two main courses and a sister 750AED.

I went there for celebrating my birthday, the place have a good view but the staff is extremely rude and arrogant.

The place is nice itself but the alcohol drinks you get is so tasteless and you don't feel they put alcohol in it at all! Generally recommend it to visit once for the view. I hope they upgrade the quality of what they serve.

Very disappointed. You wait for 10 mins to be seated, some of the staff is nice but the rest are rude. Menu is very small, portions are small, they give you 2 hrs max then you have to free the table... the only nice thing about this place is the view..

Beatiful place, amazing views, I believe food is good but we had to leave in 15 mins after coming. My friend booked a table 3 weeks in advance, they don’t have a minimum spend rule for table but they’d better have it. First of all the table was booked outside, however when we came , manager said that there are no outside tables available and we shall sit inside. In 3 weeks time they didn’t manage the booking, they haven’t advise us that outside table is not available! Ok, after we made our order, the waiter came and said that they will not serve us as tables are only for main courses orders , which was not mentioned at the time of booking or any time after! So we called for manager to understand what’s the issue and the manager in a very rude manner asked us to leave if we don’t go for main course. I really suggest this place to change the approach, if they need people to buy their 750 aed steaks then they need to notify in advance or set the minimum spend, which will be the right way. It’s very rare that you can find such kind of service in Dubai, but I think it’s a nice place to come for a drink and enjoy the views , just make sure you go for a bar from the beginning to avoid not fulfilling expectations of the management 😂🙈

Visited this place after few days being opened, started at the bar for pre drink.<br/>Order a G&T at the bar, before i done ordering the guy behind the bar went to pour me house gin, (i wanted to order my favorite monkey 47) but yeah would be great if they can pay a bit more attention to ask what the guest like instead of deciding themself what i should drink:(. <br/>Food was good at the restaurant, had the fish and wagyu steak, and a nice chardonnay . The waiter look after us well and friendly.

The vibes is very good. Great atmosphere. However I found the food are way too salty. Order the seasonal veggies and the truffle sushi rice as the appetizer. Hope it would be improved.

Nestled on the 54th floor of Dubai’s new iconic building lays Ce La Vi. When we reached the reception area, there was a bee line of people trying to get in. But to my surprise, they accommodated all and one thing that stood out was the attitude of their bouncer. They were cordial and actually greeted the patrons. <br/><br/>When inside the place was packed and music was good (old school). The interiors are tastefully done and looks chic. We were at the bar and slowly made our way to terrace, which had the breathtaking view of downtown and in particular Burj K. The staff were efficient and responsive, which is becoming a rarity in Dubai. We later requested for a table at the restaurant area, which they accommodated. <br/><br/>The place turns into a night club post 11pm and so does the music genre. Overall a good experience. <br/><br/>The only thing they can maybe improve on was the layout. When it turns into night club mode, there isn’t enough place to dance or move around.

The newest place in town. Was packed, not a single empty table. Went here with my husband for my Birthday. The menu is very limited, and it’s quite a mix of different cuisines. <br/>The black cod in the wagyu broth was something different and we loved it . The bread with spreads - chicken liver parfait was amazing - do not miss this one . <br/>The ambience is beautiful, the burj Khalifa stands tall in front of you. Great views of the city .

The view is spectacular and the food was excellent. The menu options are interesting. I would recommend the Wagyu and the Cacio Pepe, both dishes were delicious. The service was excellent too.

Extremely poor service, staff were rude and unhelpful. Floor manager Javier refused to give us a seat outside despite the entire restaurant being empty at the time we had a reservation. There wasnt even an attempt to help. We left the restaurant without dining as the staff made us feel totally unwelcome.

Baby chicken- it was fried chicken- never have i been to a decent restaurant and have been served fried chicken- I would say KFC would have been my first and only choice for fried chicken <br/><br/>Please do not go to this restaurant for food- you may grab a few drinks and enjoy the burj view if at all- and thats all this place is about.
