I have liking towards fish and mutton/ chicken biryani.
Visited this place to try their mutton biryani and tawa fry fish. We ordered for sheri tawa fry.. very soft and fresh fish.. taste was amazing.. loved every bite of it.
We also oreded mutton biryani. Biryani rice was succulent, soft and full of flavor.
Wonderful food experience.
The cafe has nice seating and the staff is courteous. The menu is a perfect blend of varied dishes. I tried the Macho Nacho combo, which comes with a pitcher and the zing zing sizzler. The presentation of the food is Instagram worthy.
Its a seafood lovers delight....they serve authentic Cochin food and have an option of choosing your fish and cook them according to your taste...

Visited this restaurant for the first time. Very small restaurant, but neat & clean. They are famous for fish . You can select the fish & then ask to prepare your dish. Try their prawns shawarma if you guys happen to visit there. Best prawns shawarma in town. Recommended for fish lovers

Really good fish and tasty wheat parathas. Even their fish curry that they had given as sides were really good. It's quite pricey for the portions they served. The hamour and sultan Ibrahim were our pics for the day.
Fresh fish, great taste. Can add more varities to the menu. Staffs and ambience are good. Very small area. Not for big families. I love red chilli fish.

Really loved their non veg meals along with kakka thoran, natholi peera, mathi fry and manthal fry.
All the fish fries had their signature taste which is entirely different from the kind of fries that we get from all other average restaurants in Dubai.
The highlight is that they are not interested to make you pull all the Dirhams out of your pocket and thus you can leave the restaurant with your stomach and mind full.

One of our friends introduced us to this restaurant last year and we’ve been hooked onto it for our fishy cravings.
Must try items are their prawn cocktail, fish fry in any sauce of your choice (we choose red coz we can’t handle spice), fish mango curry. Prices are quite reasonable and taste is amazing!
I have visited the restaurant multiple times with the family. They never disappoint :) There's a comfortable seating space, though not very big but still warm and welcoming. Their fresh fish are mouth watering, spiced to perfection and authentic. I highly recommend their prawn preparations as well - especially Prawn Cocktail or Prawn Roast Masala. Keep looking forward to coming back for more.
Fort kochi is a nice small restaurant where you can enjoy fresh spice sea food.You can go to their counter and choose the fish you want, not alive but fish marinated with masala is ready there. I ordered a Hamoor and Kilimeen which they brought to my table in 20-25 minutes. Its not deeply fried but the masala has very good taste. Kappa, appam, Porta can be used as a side dish. Staffs are friendly but parking at front is an issue as the restaurant is not exactly in front of the service road. You may find parkings backside of the restaurant as per the staff but not sure. Overall you will have different experience from Fort Kochi.
A very nice and small place serving good quality seafood cusine. Have tried fish polichathu from many restaurants but fort kochi u are the BEST. Perfect balance of flavors. Enjoyed to the core.
Fort kochi is a restaurant that makes you choose their fresh catches of the day from the freezer before it is cooked. A small place but good enough to accommodate a reasonable crowd at once. The theme represents a fort Kochin theme and the fishermen accessories set all over the walls. We ordered their shrimp cocktail as starters. As we have seen such dishes similar before, these shrimps are a bit too crispy and sweet than we expected. For their main catches, we chose the Hamour and Sherri fishes. They were fried and mixed with the spice nasals before served. Though it is highly spicy, we somehow did enjoy it very much. We had their Naadan Porotta and Thatt dosa with curry to get along with the yummy fishes. The prices are very reasonable for such a huge quantity and very friendly staffs as they seem to recognize as from our last visit.
A Place for seafood lovers ,though the selections are limited. A small place to have Kerala style fish. They will cook the marinated selected fish as you want. I can’t say ambience is much good . Still it’s a place for having Kerala style food. Rating is 3.5 out of 5
This place has keralite way of frying fish with spices.choose the fish from the menu and they will do the way u want.tried prawns,king fish,sheri.fish mango curry was yummiest.we also had their lunch meal with fish which was also good.though its a small place,they have seats outside.good customer service,nice ambience.
They serve very fresh fish. And you can choose your fish from their counter. The prices are moderate. The lunch is good and the fish curry is particularly good. Parking could be a problem though.
Ordered seafood online for first time. It was easy to order online than calling up. Select the required items and we get to know the exact amount of the bill and the time of delivery too. I have heard from friends that this is a good place for seafood. Well, iam not a regular nonvegetarian. Occasionally, i love to have seafood. And this restaurant didn't fail my expectations. I love sardines/mathi very much. Was happy to have today after ages. From now, whenever i want seafood, it will be from here. Thankyou Fort Kochi, for good food and also delivering them at the said time.

Tava Fish fry is excellent.... fish is fresh and the preparation is finger licking tasty.... this is near my home so no need to travel all the way to Jumeirah to satisfy that fish craving 😛... service is good... staff is friendly... cocktail prawns is a hit... five stars from me... hope the management maintains these standards.

The best part is the menu is simple. Loved the FishFry , Parotta , kappa and ginger Tea.

A very nice and small place serving good quality seafood in qusais. Similar menu style to a popular place in Jumeirah serving fresh fish and prawns which are pre-marinated and you can choose your fresh option and it is fried or steamed to order. I would definitely say Fort Kochi's food quality and taste is much better as the seafood marination is very good and has amazing flavors. Also you don't have to wait in queues and then again 45 mins to get your food. Place is nice and small with a good homely ambiance. Service is good. Pricing is also reasonable and portion sizes are good.

i come from a place that lies close to the sea and even closer is a beautiful river so fish is an unavoidable part of my diet wen i used to b back home.. but my life in dubai doesnt hsv much fish tales to tell.. so now one day i was having this feeling from gut saying that i need some nice fish dishes. ...i searched for a nearby restaurant that serves good fish. i made my choice to go with fort kochi and from heart they didnt disappoint me . i had fish n prawns from there n i was very happy they are serving fresh ... that is the first thing u need with seafood they shd b fresh n they r cooked well too... so my 'review is a guarantee that this restaurant serves fresh and good cooked fish meals n they hav a lot of great deals in the combosss tooo
The name “FortKochi” always made me think about the place back in Kerala !FortKochi in Qusais my always go go place for seafood. Being a great seafood fan, this restaurant gives the taste from the place I grew up ! Also you get do the chance to choose the fish you love and they Tawa fry it .
What makes this place different is the live cooking & the marination for the fish they use. Different types of fish curry & fried recipes are available here ! The staffs are welcoming and very friendly specially Murugan and his team ! Our friends and family loved it

Ordered Hamour fish Tawa fry with Green pepper marinate , excellent food crispy from the outside and nice and fresh from within however a a word of caution green pepper marinate is for the ones who prefer fish done in a real spicy way I preferred it that way today. Very homely food, and they serve water with jeera mixed, that helps in digestion. It has a very South Indian vibe to it, and their speciality is fish. Very satisfying and worth a go.
good one for fish lovers. but less variety of fishes. mostly common type of fishes only. but it tastes good. parking is bit difficult in rush hours. price is not very high still a bit high. less space only. but they have managed it. our side benches are also available. staff are so good. their side dishes breads kappa are good. lemon tea is superb.

Large variety of fish available with your choice of Masala..we had the hamour and sherri with the spicy red Malabar Masala...you can have it deepfry or tava fry..they have the unlimited Thali..which comes 2 curries and vegetables and your choice of rice...so delicious...for dessert you must try the Chickoo pudding..so yummy it just melts in your mouth...we have been to this place twice and we love it...feels like being back home...
An absolute seafood lover's place. Fort Kochi comes across as a tiny road side eatery, but is packed with amazing flavours from its variety of fish dishes and the signature shrimp shawarma. Spicy and delicious - exactly how Malayalis like their fish.
We always take away from here through zomato. I have fish dim biryani, fish mollie and paratha. I like the food here as it’s fresh and tasty.. it has the South Indian taste to it and the dishes are really good ! The service is good .. quick delivery!

Since I couldn’t resist I will tell you my favorite combination. Since this is a food review I don’t have to write it in a formal way. As mentioned above order fish curry meals with mix seafood roast along with Kappa. To get kappa you have to book in advance. For this combination, go for mota rice.

Paradise for fish lovers, lovely ambience choose your own fish and also the kind of fry you want. Must try prawns cocktail and crab pepper masala... (caution only if you can handle the spice and heat of this food) OMG !!!

Two hungry men visited this place on 12 September to have some seafood to our palate. Location wise, it is easy to locate as it is on the main road and parking us available adjacent to the place.
Ambience : It was clean and tables neatly arranged. It was hot inside which I conveyed to the staff who immediately did some changes in setting on their A.C. The server was welcoming and cheerful in serving us.
Service : Quick service and prompt response to customer needs is what I liked the most.
Food ordered : Prawn shawarma, prawn cocktail and sultan Ibrahim ta@wa fry. Prawns shawarma was good. It tasted the same as how prawns are prepared at home.prawns in the cocktail was fresh and juicy. It was kind of copy to Dynamite shrimps of P.F Chang's. Same presentation. It had the tango mayo flavour but it is a must try dish. Sultan Ibrahim tawa fry was amazing with authentic flavour.
Value for money : It is okay for sea food lovers as it is not very heavy on the pocket. Food for 2 can be enjoyed for aed 100

On the Arafat day public holiday, in order to break our fast, we decided to head down to this quaint little place. After hearing good reviews and seeing the Prawn shawarma posters, the seafood fanatic hubby got super excited to try out the place.
As we entered at 0700pm, the place was empty but the servers were very inviting and happy to see us. A plus point there. We started with the Prawn shawarma and placed an order for Kofer Fish marinated and fried in the spiciest sauce they have. Crab Pepper Roast and a Prawn cocktail.
The cocktail was a very close equivalent to the ever famous Dynamite Prawns. It was pretty tasty and was washed down immediately. The crab was small with very little flesh but the roasted gravy that it was tossed in, was super delicious. The Kofer Fish was BIG, perfectly fried in a very spicy and yummy masala which we had with Wheat Parotta and the fish gravy it came with. The shawarma was good too, it was different and do not expect it to be like the typical shawarmas you get anywhere else. It was more like an Indianised version of a spicy prawn gravy in Arabic bread.
For all seafood fans, definitely do give it a try.
I ordered 1 Prawn Keema with steamed Rice, and One Prawn pepper and 1 Lemonade, I am giving 4 star for the pepper prawn as it was nicely coated with Spice Masala and I was able to enjoy the whole Prawns, The prawns were cut in a way that you can enjoy the full meat of it, that's impressive, The Keema Rice was good, I wont say its extra ordinary. I recommend this place.

The ghusais version of the jumiera pioneer for fresh fish fried up desi style. We ordered our fish by size and added kerala style parathas... the fish was cooked ok.. Maybe it's me but I like my fish skin a bit more crispy. The parathas and the curry on the side was good.

They had a few fish in their display. We picked one and they had it cooked in 20 minutes. In the meantime we had some wheat parathas and fish curry. It was quite tasty.

Fort Kochi, a small restaurant in Qusais offers a wide variety of South Indian style food especially delicacies from Kerala. Kochi is a coastal city in Kerala renowned for its sea food. Fort Kochi rightly offers a splendid variety of sea food. The restaurant has a small counter with fresh marinated sea food laid out for you to choose. The pricing is as per the size and variety of the fish/prawns you select. I personally love their Malabar meals with a king/kofer fish tawa fry in Malabar sauce and a Malabar Prawns deep fry. The meals come with extremely good sides and I love the buttermilk they serve along with it. The Kappa Cutlet and Jumbo prawns pepper roast are mouth watering starters. The special ginger tea is the perfect ending to the heavy meal. I will soon be exploring the other specialties on their menu. The place is a little crammed but the food and friendly staff make up for it.
