What a beautiful place to enjoy breakfast and have a good coffee and dessert. Highly recommend the place but finding a parking is hell in this area

I can eat this all day everyday. The classic bun is my favorite along with a cold or hot beverage depending upon my mood and taste. I hope they make more outlets, would love one in al nahda if possible. 😄🤤<br/>Taste: 4.5<br/>Ambience: 4<br/>Service: 4<br/>Value for money: 3.5

Love to have their signature bun with the topping of Nutella. <br/><br/>Its very very tasty.

I love these Buns! 😍🤤 they have so many of these in flavours! Every time I go they jam packed! Waiting to go again soon!!

Yummy n delicious Buns :) 100% recommended :) buns quality is really good. I got 2+1 in offer , coffee is also good.
Alifya Kothari
Hands down!! One of the best desert place in Dubai. The bun they make is absolutely delicious and fresh. Love love the Nutella bun❤️

Staff could be more courteous, that unwelcoming feeling I haven't experienced in recent times.
Tanya
We were only given one-time-use plastic cutlery, plastic glasses, and plastic water bottles. We had to bring our own cutlery to have the lotus bun (which cannot be had with bare hands, I’ve tried). Very sad state of affairs. They used to offer metal cutlery in some branches but not anymore. BIG deterrent. Very environment-unfriendly. I will write to their management about this. Very sad indeed.

Tried out their famous buns with Nutella topping and the milkshake. The bun was very fresh and worth the price. The ambiance is pretty good and the Food quality was top notch.
MIDDLE EAT
One of the worst F&B outlets in JBR and the worst experience of any papparoti shops.<br/>They refused to put a proper amount of sauce on the unexpectedly dry bun and they said we are only allowed for 9 lines... really?!!!<br/>Also coffee (macchiato) was served cold and no caramel.<br/>And also refused to validate parking ticket.<br/>Very bad experience indeed.<br/><br/>Middle eat

Today, my visit to the famous papparoti was at the Jumeirah Beach Residence Dubai branch, you can get a Bun with nutella and lots of different flavors, served with a hot or cold drink<br/><br/>البن والحشوات الخاصة بهم لذيذة للغاية <br/><br/>المكان هادئ جداً و الخدمة لديهم كانت ممتازة 10/10<br/><br/> <br/><br/>The place is very quiet and the service they have is excellent 10/10 they have lots of branches in all the UAE
Shanu Jaiswal
I love “Papa Roti” .. simply love the concept of this most delicious fresh baked bun served on your platter !! Their combos are just the best .. if you are in dubai this is a must try 👌👍
Jan
No complaints about the bun; they were delicious as always. The service is what needs improvement. Waiters have no regard for you or your order. Ordering a single extra bun would take another 40 minutes? And they serve with plastic spoon n forks! Way to spoil a restaurants reputation.
Mugdha Sachdeva
Can’t explain how much the presentation of food kept me from eating it but how much it made me crave with it’s all flavours visible 🤤 <br/>This place is a great 10/10 for me. It will always be❤️
Kavin
Been there plenty of times. Mouth watering coffee-coated butter bun served alongside a variety of beverage compliments. And it's freshly baked just minutes before serving. Yummy experience. PappaRoti Signature bun is the must try.<br/><br/>Used to have fave cappuccino & yummy bun 😀

They buns are to die for!! Very nice,it’s crispy on the outside and in the inside it soft filled with butter.<br/>I suggest you come here and try their bun with coffee! <br/>

Been here twice, I love this place. At first, I was a little apprehensive about eating buns for dessert. But I was amazed. So we ate the lotus biscuit topping bun and it was delicious. We also had the hazelnut with nutella bun, which was a little too sweet for me. But the lotus biscuit was amazing. To my surprise, right in the middle of the bun, is a very soft goe-y butter filled part, which is perfect to relish on a cold winter night.
PRITHVIJIT DEBNATH
One of the bigger restaurants of the Pappa roti chain. Huge hall inside and also a large outer seating area will welcome you depending upon your choice and weather conditions.<br/>The classic pappa roti bun and a topping of cheese would put you back by around 15-18 dhs. I had an additional Saffron Coffee with it, and the total went up. But the Saffron coffee was awesome. It changed my mood instantly and I felt positive. The colourful coffee is different.<br/>The Bun was as usual light, cracking on the exterior, slightly crunchy and with a lovely buttered base, fluffy. Super item. Adding cheese gives me the right mix of sour taste.<br/>Very nice place. The large wooden dark varnished set up makes them look very aristocratic.<br/>I will visit when I am in the vicinity.
Gypsyatheartlb
Have visited this place a couple of times, I am not a big fan of coffee places, but I like the idea of this place, the bun is very soft and melts in the mouth easily and you can add several flavors of course they are charged extra, but it is nice to try this experience. Whenever i have friends visiting i take them to try this sweet experience.
Purav Rustagi
Amazing buns that just melts in your mouth, though they have large variety of flavours but try the plain classic bun which is my favourite, they have good variety of cold coffee, hot coffee and shakes as well. A combo of shake and bun would cost you around 30 dirhams where as only bun would be 11-15 dirhams depending upon what flavour to opt for. Food and service both are good
Pooja Vikas Dahiya
A must must try coffee shop.. their buns are to die for🙌their concept of bun & coffee is damn good .. we visit this place very often and all the locations serve great stuff 👍👍👍

I consider Papa Roti the Tim Hortons of coffee chain...both share similar characteristics, pricey yet good bang for your buck great coffee, mouthwatering smoothies & sandwiches. <br/>Papa roti has one exception their soft nectarous Devine freshly baked buns 🍘!<br/><br/>Since my sister was in town I thought there would be no better place then to enjoy good coffee with those delicious freshly baked buns so soft and tender and with the right amount of everything that it’s prepared with. <br/><br/>My sweet tooth enjoyed the fresh buns which I ordered that were drizzled with Nutella topping and lotus biscuit syrup. So if you have a sweet tooth this is the must visit place and especially the one in JBR love the ambiance the sitting area outside is lovely especially during winters enjoyed throughly.
Alyssa Anne Sanz Flores
I swear, so far, they have the most amazing, yummy and mouth-watering bun I have ever tasted. You can even smell it from afar. Tastes and smells so delicious! 😊

A very nice place to relax during the weekend with a coffee and a croissant.Prime location by the beach and fast and attentive service.I will come back.
Globetrot Mom
Its a cafe focused on 2 things they do brilliantly - Pappa Roti and Coffee.<br/>If you're visiting Dubai, this has to be on your "Must Do" or Must Have experience. Also, while ordering definitely go for their Papparoti Signature Bun. The true flavors of this amazing creation come alive in their base signature bun without any nuts or toppings. Some of my other favorites are Dark Chocolate and Dark Chocolate with Hazelnuts (not on the menu, you have to ask for it). <br/>Favorite coffee - Mocha in both hot and cold form.
Theeverydaybrew
never showed much interested in eating at Pappa Roti thinking that it would nothing much other than a bun. irrespective of all the toppings. thought it would be bland. I was so wrong. the flavors are just fabulous. I did order bun with Nutella topping, but I can only have the bun also. the soft texture of the bun and even softer in the middle with the butter is amazing. thank you to my wife to introduce me to this place.

Went to JBR branch, superb location, good service, shop looks good nice deco looks clean and fresh.<br/>Food and as per brand standards and as expected, very good.<br/><br/>Recommended

By far not only just 1 of the best dessert places in town, but also 1 of the best Pappa Roti outlet in town! <br/><br/>The service and freshness at this outlet is undoubtedly the best I have experienced to date. <br/><br/>Highly recommend the lotus biscuit bun along side Pappa Milk Tea! <br/><br/>Only small downside - you now need to spend AED 100 to have parking validates! Used to be AED 75 which was realistically based on a spending of 2 people!
Khuwexah
We just really love papparoti... and i really really love this place! All the crew are so nice and accommodating... highly recommended! ☕️<br/>we will definitely go back again in this place...<br/>my sister’s Boyfriend ordered Espresso shot, (he didn’t have an idea) but the crew were so nice offering in making it a cappuccino instead... 😊
What's For Lunch
This was on my wish list from the time my travel dates were fixed. I ordered original bun with Nutella on top. The bun is super soft with butter inside and Nutella on the outside. A mouthwatering dish. Definitely worth a stop by.
Maria Asif
My family enjoys their original buns and papa milk tea quite often. The beach branch is my favourite especially during the winters. We can enjoy the tea sitting outdoors with a light breeze. A must try! It’s a bit pricey for a simple tea and bun though.
Hazem Lahham
I should start with the buns, they are what brings me back again and again, the coffee is well crafted I must say. The service and seating not so much but everyone tries there best none the less. The place is clean, menu is great prices are reasonable and the experience altogether is fine.
Arushi Bhargava
One of the best places in Jbr for coffee and desserts. The buns are delicious- would recommend cheese, Nutella with nuts and Lotus spread bun. Buns are well cooked and great in taste. <br/>Coffee is excellent- hot or cold. My all time favourite is blended cafe latte cold. <br/>They also have a variety of teas. <br/>Ambiance is great and a very friendly staff.
Ahmad K
I personally like the tea with Milk that they serve; be it hot or Ice cold. I also like the Buns especially with Nutella or strawberry jam. The service there is also very good. Thank you guys.
Camile Canlas
My all time favorite coffee place! Dont forget to order some heavenly tasting buns! 😊 Ambience and customer service is also great, the only downside is you cant really see the sea side.
Kaisir
Love coming for a roti lotus bun with coffee. Service is alway good, the buns are always fresh and coffee is nice and tasty. For under aed50 for two it is a nice cheap treat to have in JBR walk.
Gleb Grouzer
Wow. This bun is amazing. So soft and fluffy with perfect amount of sugar and salt. Breaking this bun with hands is just utter satisfaction. I would definitely come back!

THE BUN IS AMAZING COME AND EXPERIENCE THE BEST DESERT IN THE WORLD. The buns are more than amazing they served it warm , the stuff also is very kind and friendly.

Quality is good but..... Very very bad attitude!!!! , i went there tonight, i paid the bill and waitress she didn't give me back the rest of monney balance.... I will never come back.

Love the ambience. Always order their fresh hot buns and milk tea. I like cheese, dark chocolate and nutella toppings. I would love to try more dishes when I visit next time.

Visited Pappa Roti on The Beach in late evening, coffee was very bad, Roti buns was delicious, especially with roasted hazelnuts and Nutella. Service average. Weird interior

I visited this joint with my sister while we were strolling in JBR on a fine “Dubai winter” evening in December. We were intending to visit paparoti for a very long time since it’s quite popular coffee joint so we tried it out in jbr.<br/><br/>The joint had a great ambience and amazing coffee aroma.<br/><br/>We had no idea what exactly was the paparoti. It looked like a sweet bun so we expected just that. So we ordered the classic bun with a cappuccino on the side.<br/><br/>The staff forgot to take our order in first place and kept us waiting for quite a long time. We stuck around only to try the rotis that people talk about so much. After a long wait the waitress took our order and guess what? She forgot about it.<br/><br/>We requested her to get check on our order and she went missing for another 10 mnts. She finally came back with the bun only. The cappuccino was not ready yet. So we waited for the coffee to arrive. It didn’t. She forgot again.<br/><br/>So we requested her to check upon our order once again, she then brought the cappuccino immediately. The coffee had turned cold and was not worth enjoying anymore. This means it was ready long time ago but sat at the counter coz the waitress forgot about it.<br/><br/>All this waiting for 1 classic bun and 1 cappuccino. The ordered couldn’t have been simpler.<br/><br/>Anyway, keeping all the service issues aside, the bun kind of disappointed us. It was hollow from the inside and had a crusty outer shell. Inside was a layer of butter and something else that tasted more like mozzarella. Maybe it was just tonnes of salted butter. Well it didn’t go well with the coffee.<br/><br/>I felt the price to food taste and quantity ratio was not balanced. <br/><br/>I won’t voluntarily prefer going to papa roti again. Sad though as I just loved the coffee aroma of this place.

Freshly balked buns melts in your mouth <br/>I can’t stop eating these soft and tasty buns always <br/>So so so tasty and melted butter inside <br/>I always eat plain <br/>My all time favorite
Anu
Freshly baked , soft buns melted in mouth, that's what Pappa Roti. We were here in this branch on the new year eve and we sat outside. We ordered their signature bun with honey flavored and a mango smoothie. You can customize the buns with lot of flavors. The food was really tasty and the service was good. I could see lot of combo options like smoothie/coffee/ice tea/ice cream with bun in the menu, definitely will try next time.

I consider Papa Roti the Starbucks of coffee chains; well at least in UAE. Both share similar characteristics; Pricey yet good bang for your buck caffeinated drinks, delicious sandwiches & mouthwatering smoothies. Papa Roti has one exception - their soft nectarous tender divine buns baked by angels! <br/><br/>As I had guests in town I thought there would be no better place for them to enjoy a proper kadak chai which can be relished with their freshly baked bun. I love their milk tea even though some people might find their tea is extremely overpriced & is served in a standard sized mug. I guess at times I am willing to spend extra on a cup of tea which I know will heavenly. Their buns on the other hand are served fresh & hot. The bun is soft, tender & has a unique mellow sweet taste. <br/><br/>My sweet toothed enjoyed the bun with their fresh summer juices. As they have a sweet tooth they preferred if the bun would be drizzled with a syrupy sauce like Nutella ,Lotus or strawberry syrup. So if you do have a sweet-tooth order the freshly baked bun with a sweet sauce !
Mukhtar Dharsey
Amazing fresh warm buns. Service a bit un-attentive as I had to wait to be seated and served. Bit of an English language barrier when I asked to explain the concept. Also had to indicate when I was done with my bun for staff to take dirty plate away. Perhaps more training needed. Great setting and nice decor. Outside seating which is great to enjoy a warm evening. Hazelnut and plain buns were great!
Hisham @hsaq12
Usually I love the Nutella Bun, but today they are out of order and they can’t serve buns that’s why I will be eating them the next time. All the best fixing the oven :)

You will never go wrong with pappa Roti, they maintain consistency, and the taste never been down and the recipe is top notch , there’s many they have tried to duplicate however Original is the best<br/><br/>Value 5/5<br/>Quality 5/5<br/>Price 3/5 ( pricy )<br/>Service 5/5

The signature bun with chai is the best combo you can have it in anytime! They have a lot of variety! It’s a great place to just have something light and different!
Nivedya
I'm usually a big fan of Papa Roti but I didn't have a good time at this particular branch. The buns are great as usual but then that's it. We ordered caramel machiato, mocha and hot chocolate along with the buns. None of us liked our beverages; we have definitely had much better. Also, it was served warm and not hot. So by the time we were done with the buns it was only slightly warm. We had a problem with the seating too. Since it was kinda cramped, cigarette smoke from nearby table blew directly into our faces, making us very uncomfortable. So we left the place hurriedly. The service was also not that great (compared to the amazing service at other restaurants). I just see myself going back for the buns and nothing more.
Tamara
Your bun is really amazing! cheese and honey topping in a bun is a perfect combination! ☺️☺️ me and my friends really enjoyed it! Aways craving for a fresh buns!

It is always a delight to eat their outstanding fresh, crunchy and aromatic bun .. My fav is hazelnut and nuttella .. would strongly recommend the above ....

love this place. amazing coffee with the best ever bun. the location is really good in jumeirah beach residents. it's my favorite place to have my afternoon coffee
Fooddubai101
Going to JBR Pappa Roti has been an addiction for sugar cravings. Their bun is always fresh and delicious. Bun is a very delicious Malaysian bakery. I like the bun with nutella and almonds and americano or tea options to balance the sweetness. Service is only average; location is very convenient in JBR. The major drawback of Pappa Roti is they do not provide proper cutlery; they bring plastic cutlery.

Yummy bun time ---- <br/>U don't need any occasion to go to papa roti <br/>Fresh bun with lovely toppings <br/><br/>Ambience 3.5/5 <br/>Taste 4/5 <br/><br/>Overall 4/5 <br/><br/><br/>Bun time

The brightest feature after incredibly delicious buns is service level. Like anywhere else, the Beach Pappa Roti feels really cosy and homie. Love the place. Would definitely recommend to try it out. Vanilla milkshake is yummm
Shakti Singh Chauhan
Ambience is great. Buns are absolutely fabulous! I personally liked the Vanilla milkshake as well. Staff was a bit cold. The Phillipino server was completely disengaged. Got my order wrong and didn't care when I pointed it out. I called the manager and he handled the situation well. <br/><br/>All in all, service could be better. Food is great.

This is the best place to relax and have coffee with your friends after the beach.. The buns was heavenly delicious I can't deny their freshly bake buns was really amazing..Filipino staff was very friendly.. will come back again guys 👍👍👍👍
Salma Mostafa
Have you tried their Honey Buns?..<br/>No?...<br/>....<br/>You have not lived. <br/>...<br/>This is one of the places that I label as "major craving"<br/>They have this bun that no one else make the same, or no one else makes at all to be accurate.<br/>Definitely worth the try.
Aditi Goyal
I could never imagine having a bun and falling in love with it. It's soft, it's crispy, it's sweet, and it's salty, and it's buttery, and it's amazing!<br/>Serving their soft and ever so delicious buns with a variety of toppings, Pappa Roti is one of my favourite places for desserts. Their buns are unique in all aspects. Their softness, their taste, they just stand out! The different toppings available add to the experience. Having visited this place quite a few times now, I have tasted almost all of their buns. The quality of their buns might take away the limelight from their other specialities like their shakes. They serve great shakes as well!<br/>The staff is sweet, decor is simple and the location is convenient.<br/>One could label them as a tad bit overpriced, but the quality of buns and shakes makes up for it.
Pavan Kumar
Pappa milk tea and good old plain roti (bun)! This is our standard order and god, these buns are so delicious. My wife and I, indulge in these rotis and tea every now and then when we go out for night time walks. A good place to hang out for a while and good service as well. You can try different toppings like nutella that are good, but we like the regular roti. You can never go wrong here.
Varun Lakshmanan
Awesome buns , fresh and crisp at the same time soft , love the butter that oozes out as u bite into this awesome bun .<br/><br/>They have a range of hot beverages to go along with the bun , good for anytime of the day .<br/><br/>Would be great if they can add a few spicy bun options with stuffings inside .<br/>
Ms Shweta
I usually have papa roti from downtown as I live there and it's always amazing. Today I was at JBR and I am shocked what they have served me. Their bun is completely horrible. It's over cooked. Burned from the bottom. Taste less. Butter flowing out completely from the bun. If someone eats this for the first time he will never visit papa roti ever again. I have eaten at other branches so I know it's never been so pathetic before. I always loved papa roti and it's my most favorite joint for ice tea and bun. This experience has really spoiled the taste. Never going to visit ever again at JBR branch.
Ria Khandelwal
Nothing gets better than having a crispy, buttery, sugary and fresh bread at the end of a hard work's day! Thank you Pappa Roti for existing! Even your signature classic plain bun is too delicious!! If you convinced my diet conscious mom to eat some then you surely did a fab job! However, this time we tried the Lotus drizzled bun and it was still definitely very yummy! Although the frappe we ordered was too bitter, not my style.
Tanushree Mukherjee
Cannot have enough of their tea and bread. Always order a bread and extra bread with it. It's one of the best items on the menu and you must try all the types. I like the simple classic butter bun bread. The ambience is very good as well. Definite favourite.
Abdallah Mehelba
Unique type of cafe/restaurant that started in Dubai few years back. They serve Buns which is newly introduced by them to the market in 2013. They have huge success story and from one small kiosk un Dubai Mall to almost 10+ branches allover the UAE. Best Buns in town, still they need to work on their hot drinks menu as its terrible.
Sharika Speaks!
I have heard a lot about it but only got a chance to try on my trip to dubai while visiting JBR. We wanted a quick drink and snack and this place was worth it. The bun jut melts in your mouth and generallly i wouldn't jut say that about a plain bun. The latte is really nice as well. One should surely try out the different varieties of buns here while visiting Pappa Roti
Simon Fakhoury
Worst Paparoti branch, very bad customer service, the door doesn't open properly and you even have to pay more for parking!! Not a good place
Eat Sleep Dubai Repeat
I could not have imagined that a place selling only buns and tea would end up being one of my favorite confectioneries/cafes in Dubai. They sell coffees too but its all about the chai here. The buns have a hard shell and a moist butter filled center complete with all the calories you need to last through the week!<br/><br/>Must try!
Ishdeep Dhillon
Wow is the word for the Buns.....perfectly baked and taste is just heavenly...they have many varieties of the bun however my personal favourite is the classic plain one.Being a tea lover would highly recommend the ginger milk tea snd the papa tea.
Arina Maljian
I did not realize Pappa Roti only served buns but my God they are so good. Obviously very fattening as the filling is basically melted butter but still very good and very worth the calories. We tried the Nutella one and the toffee with nuts one and they were both good. I liked the Nutella better.
Ms Kaur
Great ambience <br/>Good service <br/>Decent price<br/><br/>Who doesnt love the papa roti served here or at any other branch .The buns are just to good at any occasion. My personal favorite is the chocolate bum served with vanilla Icecream 👍
Anuradha Kr
This "roti" is heaven. Slightly crusty on outer side and gooey buttery in inside. Even perfect would be to order black hot coffee or cold coffee. Goes with anything. Waiting for it to open in Mumbai soon.
Natalya Schluechter
One of my absolute favorite spots in Dubai for a beach-snack and coffee. The buns are always perfect and consistent. My first time trying these buns I could not get a proper understanding for the flavor, but to my surprise I was craving one several weeks later and it has become a regular spot for a sit-down with friends.
Mohamed El-Sebaey
I was disappointed with this place, they don't serve breakfast, the Cafe Latte was so sweet cause they poured lot of Hazelnut syrup, even their famous Buns were awful, the taste of the raw eggs was dominant!!
Muhammad Khan
Best karak chai in dubai with best buns. Price is bit high though otherwise its a gem.<br/>Been to their almost all outlets and the service is excellent.
Yasin
The place is quiet nice and the Nutella bun also. However seemed to have got ripped off by paying 37AED for a single sack of tea (Green Tea Curls). When I told the person that works there why was that, he just said its Green Tea Culrs. Told him if that was the case I would have ordered a tea pot for 44AED and comes with a bun also but just wasn't bothered to make a fuss.<br/><br/>Bad service from the staff and I will never pay that branch a visit.
Travel4tummy
Wow is that bun. It's superb baked or I should say great invention. So lite that you can't stop with one and same was the case with me. I had to keep coming back with no reason for having it.<br/><br/>Ordered :<br/>Classic Bun <br/>Cappuccino <br/>Toffee flavour Bun <br/><br/>I will prefer Classic it's yummy and being at JBR ambience near beach is so relaxing for tummy too :) <br/><br/>Rating :<br/>Value for money: 5<br/>Ambience : 5<br/>Service: 5<br/>Food : 5 <br/><br/>Should try this guys. <br/>

I like the outdoor seating in the JBR branch especially in the good weather like these days.<br/>The coffee is good and the buns are delicious.<br/>The service is not good , and i dont like the fact that the cutlery is plastic .<br/>Follow me on Instagram @eatingwithn for a world full of food advertising

Love their breads , so soft , and really tastes good , go with butter or the chocolate. <br/>

This is by far the best place to have Bun. I really don't have any words to explain how good it is but it's a must try. The bread is freshly baked and you can make it out with the taste. There's lot of butter and with the Nutella Chocolate on it, makes it just amazing to have. Must try!

Buns at Pappa Roti is the only reason me coming to this place repeatedly . Visited last night when I went to meet couple of my college mates . Ordered the bun combo with papa milk tea which is basically karak tea with the bun it was served to me within 10 mins of time . The buns like always were super delicious and the tea was also really good . Staff people at this place are quiet friendly and the ambience wise this place is decent too .
Rajiv R Nair
I have always enjoyed the bun and the ginger tea, and my son loves the add ons with the chocolate on top of the buns. Many new joints have sprung up with the same concept but can't match them.

"Have you been to Pappa Roti??"<br/><br/>This is all I ever hear from anyone visiting Dubai, and my answer was no, for a pretty long time. But alas I had to give in and find out what all the fuss was about. <br/><br/>Now, if Pappa Roti's buns had not been so hyped up, I'm sure my review would have been a 4/5. Unfortunately, I was a little underwhelmed having heard so many people talk about the place! The buns are undeniably delectable, and something quite unusual - but I honestly was expecting so, so much from my visit, that I need to stick to 3.5/5.<br/><br/>Pappa Roti is most defnitely worth the visit, and I really am glad to be 'in the know' now.
Hisham A. Abdel-Azim
As usual, they make the best buns in town. This time with Toffee flavor. Would love to try their food menu another time. Hope it would be as awesome as their buns.
DeekinMumbai
i heard about this place from lots friends coming in and out of diubai for work and of course i had to try it. i specifically went to try them while shopping for presents for the wife and kids and stopped for coffee and a bun. the coffee was pretty tasty and the bun was pretty spot on. <br/><br/>pro-tip- get the original plain bun. i found the other stuffings and flavors a touch too sweet but defn a must try if you are in dubai
IDubaiFoodie
Combo's are nice but its not what you are there for, Come on this is not a McDonalds. The Bun in itself with the Nutella topping is my personal favorite. Add on with Honey and Chocolate is a must try as well.

So I went to Pappa Roti post dinner to enjoy their famous bun. Being a tea lover, my friend suggested to try their papa milk tea (their name for karak tea) and I ordered the same with the bun. So the bun as always was soft from inside and crispy from outside. Its feels light on stomach and tastes nice. Now when it came to tea i was displeased when i figured the tea was very sweet and I always have tea without sugar. Moreover i dont like taste of anything sweet , so not even artificial sweetener works for me. I called the staff mentioning the same and they went and replaced the tea. When i took a sip from the fresh tea it again was very sweet. I called the staff and asked them why did they serve the tea which was sweet. They said that they have ready made mixture and they used condensed milk hence the tea is sweet. I told them to make milk with fresh milk which it seems they cant make. I asked them to take the tea back but they offered a replacement. Since it was anyways late and i wasn't keen to have anything else I Told them to take back the tea. They informed me they have punched the order so i asked for Moroccan tea but I was told the replacement could only be of item of same cost.... on that note the price of this tea isnt cheap but pricey at Dh 27. really is that what they call complain addressal <br/><br/>I was told to pay anyway even if i return the tea. There was no point to hold an argument coz the staff would only do as much as they are empowered to and what company policies are. Its highly disappointing on part of a brand so well established in various parts of the globe to be so conservative in their approach. I could have been a diabetic and having sweet would have been detrimental to my health or i could been on strict diet and not have sugar but I guess these basic things have not been taken into consideration. Anyways I paid and left ...
Anishkaa
Been to umpteen number of coffee joints but this one is one of the best tea venues in town. The buns are real soft and easy to eat, spend some quality time with friends in this one and sip your tea, it's totally worth it. Price is on the higher side but who said life was cheap..

A simple concept done right. Pappa Roti is exploring with numerous branches opening all across the city. Love this particular one as it's closest to me. They should introduce more options for the roti as I have tried all. <br/><br/>--A drop of ink may make a million think. <br/>@AyaashPaw

The fragrance of freshly baked bun is so welcoming. Bun, so soft that your knife and fork just passes through without effort, buttery inside and thin crisp layer out. No one should miss out this magic. Amazing location, not so good service. Love struck

I really don't know why the karak tea at this place is so famous. I can make better karak at home. <br/><br/>The venue is nice & a good place to hang out with friends to chat. The bun was also tasty & if I did come back - it would be for that instead of the tea.

Great location in the Centre of JBR, a coffee shop where you can chill,<br/>The buns are to die for, simple and outstanding for it you could kill. <br/>It's comes out freshly baked, slightly crisp on the outside,<br/>The inside is soft bread, oozes out the butter, each and every bite takes you on a ride.<br/>An exquisite and unique take on simple butter toast,<br/>Drinks are average, lovely location and they are an excellent host.

While I must say that the bun was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside (apparently exactly the way it should be), I just didn't get all the hype about it after I've finally committed myself to trying it for the first time few days back. The fluffy bun deflates into a flat pancake with the slightest of touches and there is no any flavour/filling inside it to make things a bit more exciting. Honey, Nutella etc go on top of it... black tea was strong but weirdly didn't have any taste to it... they are going to start serving buns with ice-cream soon... maybe this will be more exciting to eat. Till then, the bun is just a piece of bread...
