A beautiful restaurant with delicious food. The manager was extremely kind. In January when we visited, we were given complimentary starters and we were helped by our gracious waiter who made our evening more special. I would like to give a special thanks to the gentleman Abdullah, who recommended this place. His kindness of recommending this place and speaking to the manager to help make our evening even more memorable, will not be forgotten. Emirati food and lovely people. ❤️ Please give my thanks to Abdullah 🙏🏼
From the best places I try it
The service was very nice the staff was friendly and helpful special thx for Ahmad the waiter and Hekmat the manger
Great food reasonable price freindly staff
Awesome! Loved the food and the service. It is already my second time to come here and both times, extremely satisfied. I especially like it that Patrick, our server remembers us and made us feel at home. Excellent service. Keep it up
A must try if you are an Emirati food lover. We ordered the Robayan biryani and the lamb kebabs along with the passion mojito. Everytime it amazes me how there is a burst of flavor in the food without the traditional Indian spices 😋 that we typically use in our version of biryani. The staff is quite courteous and welcoming. The restaurant has a traditional theme decor whch makes it an apt choice for a peaceful meal.
One of the best emirati cuisine in dubai! The staff are AMAZING! They exceed my expectation 🎉
Amazing food and affordable.
👏👏👏
Almashowa restaurant is one of the best restaurant in dubai. Their food is so tasty and delicious. I really enjoyed my self in Almashowa. It was amazing. Their service is excellent. A very good taste of emirati home made.
Excellent food!
Exactly Service- in particular Saheer and Falilat!
Keep it up!
Best safi matfi with white rice
Absolute must-try! My favourite was the prawn marag (means curry). I ordered it with the best paratha I’ve ever had! My mom ordered the sherri fish machboos and she loved it. Of course the lgaimat at the end were the highlight of our meal. Portions are really generous, I def over-ordered. Service is fantastic, they gave us the best recommendations. The food was served quickly.
I’m def coming back for that prawn marag, paratha and lgaimat!

Came here for a late lunch.
Service is great and the waiters were helpful.
Many items on the menu but we decided to go with grilled fish and some seafood items.
Do try the cocktails, they are very good.
The seabream was great when grilled.
Fried prawns batter was very good too.
Amazing local cuisine, I loved a lot the fish eggs with the date sauce. So yummy and the staff was very friendly and welcoming 👌🏽 I will definitely come back again
Givin’ you the taste of Emirati food and vibe of an old but modernized Dubai. One of my favorite is Dejej Bel Foren. And please be noted that their ingredients was locally made, produced and slaughtered. Be sure to check them out!
Great Emirati Food Experince. We went for iftar preview. I would say that their food is fresh and tasty. It was a buffet so they have a lot of choices to choose. From breads to meat to desserts, Lamb Ouzi is totally the high light for me. Lamb is fresh and it doesn't have smell.
Cosy little restaurants at City Walk neighborhood that serves traditional Emirati cuisine with a healthy twist. The minimalism in decor contrasts with the richness of their delicious dishes inspired by the recipes shared from a generation to a generation.
Chef Bilal focused on locally sourced ingredients from the leading farmers.
I absolutely enjoyed my Iftar experience and can't wait to be back
Have been here twice. It’s Good Emirati cuisine at City Walk. The first time i tried Arabic Biryani , hummus and it was a very quick bite before a movie but I must say the first impression of the cuisine and the taste of food got to me . The Flavours are appealing , absolutely blew me . But when I tried the place second time my experience was not that good . Ordered orange and lemon mint juice , chicken kebab , Bzar prawns , hummus and bread. I would say each of these items gets my big 5 * rating . What I didn’t like about the place though was service , Very slow we literally had to ask for each and every item . it’s a shame such an authentic restaurant but lacking the basics and the attention in service. I would really love them to improve and do well . Having said so the taste of food is sensational and I would definitely go back for the food.
My family and I were shopping in our favorite lifestyle destination, City Walk recently and we needed a coffee and a snack break. That’s how we stumbled across Al Mashowa Restaurant. Located in front of Hub Zero in City Walk, you cannot miss Al Mashowa with its beautiful traditional setting. The Emirati-inspired interiors offers a traditional and rustic touch to the venue. It also offers al fresco dining area.
I was here one evening for their Emirati afternoon tea experience. Everything about this place is extremely traditional, the way it is done up, the decor and the food they serve.
Fawalat Al Mashowa is the Emirati afternoon experience from 4pm to 7pm that offers a traditional Emirati meal filled with local flavours served from a live cooking station where fresh breads are prepared.
They serve the following on a traditional platter :
Chebab, Mohallah, Batheetha, Sago, Assidat Al Boubar, Ferni, Gemar, Honey & Honey Dates Syrup with Arabic coffee or Chai Karak. This surely is a refreshing change to the regular teas or English high teas in town. Everything on the platter is freshly prepared and extremely authentic. There Karak tea is a must have when here.
I already can't wait to go back here.
Very good food! We ordered grilled shrimps yummy and Rocca mango salad :)
very good service; Kaushal was really helpful and smily and knew the menu very well.
For a change, me and my friend decided to try Emirati cuisine. We liked the foods, except for the 4 pcs of prawns which is a bit pricey for 4pcs.
We wanted to try this restaurant primarily because of the mouth watering aroma one experiences while passing by Al Mashowa. We had the Emirati Machbous and Meat Platter. Serving size was good for 2 people. Staff were very accommodating and have good knowledge of what they had to offer. We felt that we needed an introduction to their cuisine as we were first timers. Location was easy to find and the interior design was apt with the classic Emirati theme.
I absolutely love this place!
Ambiance : The fishing theme.. boats..its everywhere. The wait staff are in traditional fishermen attire .
Food : The chicken machboos is the best thing I have ever had in my entire existence!
The saffron rice..the chicken ..I am obsessed.
For the first time we came in here. Every single dish we have tried has divine taste. I would highly recommend this place to the people who like local cuisine.Beshoy was our server, very professional guy who always here when we need him. Huge thanks to the manager Ibrahim, he has took into account all our requests. Food was cooked to perfection, on time, no delays which is very necessary when you are hungry 🙂, ambience is perfect. Worth to notice about location, restaurant is in the heart of the city walk 2 with an amazing fountain show, so you will not get bored 😉. More than sure we will come back here again. If you look for nice food , cool service go for Al Mashowa. This place sooooo good. Once again thank you for taking care of us and giving remarkable experience. 🤗

Local food with mainly fish as main dish.
Taste is ok but for some dishes a bit dry (for my taste).
Dessert good and enough to open your appetite.
Service can be improved (not my first time visiting this restaurant and same remark).
We had an amazing time here at AL Mashowa citywalk, the staff were amazing, the chef came to give us some recommendation and the service was great.
The best sea food in town, very authentic and fresh. Prices are so reasonable. Very friendly and helpful staff, excellent customer service. Grilled shrimps and sea bream are a must to try.
The chef recommended a great selection of seafood platters and it was absolutely delicious! The ambience anx customer service is class.. ask for Ibrahim, he's very friendly and goes out of the way to help you out.
It was a beautiful evening at al mashowa city walk thanks alot to all staff for making my evening and amazing food tasty and fresh lots of love and for sure i will return
Went into this place while having a stroll at City Walk so had no expectations whatsoever. The interior design is pleasing on the eye with a traditional Emirati theme. Ordered the Harees soup and the Marak Naggar (Squid stew) and both were flavorful and aromatic. We then ordered the famous legaimat with thyme tea. The legaimat were heavenly. If you’re looking for authentic Emirati with a modern twist then this is the place for you.
One of the best emirati cuisine in dubai, we dine with them on Wednesday the whole experience is on the dot.
Shout out loud to the chef for the great quality and the presentation you can feel the effort that has been done.
The servers are very friendly and efficient i wouldn’t forget the manager on duty ibrahim for his great hospitality. i would come back for sure

There was a time when Dubai was all about all pearl diving and fishing. We recently had the privilege to dine in at Al Mashowa which believes in the same concept and tries to bring back memories of the past by using the authentic recipes of the golden years. Al Mashowa is just the place to be if you love seafood and want to experience the traditional recipe of the locals in Dubai. The food has been traditional and authentic using the grand mothers recipe.
Never expected how tasty and delicious the Emirati Cuisiné until I experienced the tasteful Sea Food Soup, Salad and Main course of course without forgetting the Typical sweets (LGEIMAT) in Al Mashowa. Thank you Chef Bilal and the Service Team about such unforgettable Experience
The seafood culinary concept in Dubai’s dining scene is always at top as UAE is home to seafood treasures, the seafood market not only boast of producing fresh catch but at the same time many restaurants here retain the traditional styles of Emirati cuisine , keeping in mind the cultural heritage which the tourists in UAE very fondly look for, some restaurants also provide fusion cooking concepts which cater the needs of foodies from different regions.
Wow what the experience restaurants it’s amazing Emirati restaurant. Loved the decorations and furniture the food was very traditional we had the lamb thareid and machbose see food soup , the best food and experience we had in Dubai and city walk I recommend the restaurant.
Located in Citywalk Dubai (in front of Hub Zero), Al Mashowa’s menu is inspired by flavours of traditional ingredients that are served in Emirati households. They pride themselves in using only local fresh fish.
We had quite a feast of fresh seafood during our visit. Enjoyed the seafood soup, the Kingfish with Emirati rice and the seafood platter. Try the hummus as well :)
It’s a new favorite restaurant in city walk Emirati cuisine that’s playful mouthwatering menu .they are more in seafood dishes but they still small selection of meat .
Ambience 5/5

It’s amazing place that good for those who doesn’t taste Emirati cuisine fresh ingredients with knowledgeable staff for sure I’ll come back for more dishes to taste
Amazing experience and perfect food. For those who are not fond of Arabic cuisine (like me :-) ) they have plenty of seafood. They even allow to catch a fish by yourself! One of the coolest place that I’ve been.
Passion fruit mojito is the best of the best!!!!! Thank you chefs for awesome food and waiters for brilliant service!
The best Emirati cuisine so far in UAE, the restaurant is very clean with an open kitchen, plus the staff were very friendly, highly recommended 👌🏼
Cozy and stylish place to spend time in th heart of City Walk.
Overlooking the show-fountain it should be a perfect spot to enjoy a dinner.
Tried the Emirati Kebab and Khameer bread. Both dishes were full of flavour and extremely good. Didn't expect much from local cuisine, but the guys managed to surprise.
Arabic coffee is a must try!
They have a live fish tank and ice market for lobsters and prawns.
Need to come for dinner to have a view. Well done, Al Mashowa.
A recent addition to City Walk range of restaurants Al Mashowa surprised me with everything. Starting from design and very welcoming staff up to brilliant classic Emirati dessert.
Visiting the place accidentally on Sunday was stunned with how full it was. Decided to go for Lageimat and arabic coffee, as had my dinner earlier.
Having no idea of the cuisine, asked for assistance and explanation, so the waiter told that they add saffron to their Lageimat. It made the dessert look bright gold inside, giving a hint of saffron flavour. Coffee had a perfect balance of cardamom and coffee flavor.
Cozy place with remarkable service and incredible design.
Will have to come back for dinner to try their fresh seafood from fish tank and ice display.
Had an amazing lunch here today. The place is located in the heart of City Walk with a great view of a fountain.
Tried their Mashowo Salad, Prawn Biryani emirati style and of course the majestic Pumpking Pudding.
Amazing service and food. Unfortunately didn't have time to try their fresh Hammour, but will definitely do next time.
Theyhave fresh seafood that you can pick by yourself, so don't miss a chance as I did.
Well done to them. Will definitely come back.

I visited Al Mashowa with family for early dinner on a weekend, it was empty initially but I could see more people coming as we get closer to dinner time.
Parking is convenient as it is in City Walk, service was great, my son loved the fish aquariums.
We started with Hubool (my fav), portion was good and tasted great with the lemon on the side, we also had a rocca salad which was a relatively small portion. For the main course, we had rice with chicken (Diyay Tahta), a Machboos Laham, and a Threed. The only one I liked out of the main courses was the Machboos.
Finally we had a portion of Lgemat and Chai Karak, both were good.

What an amazing place! We all live in Dubai but rarely visit traditional Emirati cuisine restaurants. The ambience and the decor simply takes you 40 years back. But the feeling of Nostalgia will hit you harder when the food arrives. Marak Semach is simply one of the 10 top dishes ever tried in my life. Lahm Thareed is a must too. I also saw several huge seafood platters in the nearby tables which I will definitely order next time.
What an amazing Food great experience with such a new kitchen concept and it was my first time to try traditional UAE cuisine. Staff very welcoming even Chef Bilal visit our table and we really enjoyed his recommendation specially Safi fish, Tahta Robyan, and Kebab Emirati.
