This is al all time Lebanese place of mine. Wherever it’s for breakfast, lunch or dinner, Al Reef turns out one of the best Manakeesh’s. I like the cheese with zaatar but also like the Labneh with vegetables. Really comforting food.
This place is famous and has been around since the 1980s. They make some tasty manakish, especially their cheese manakish and their zaatar manakish. Best to eat while its still hot. Not much of a seating area, better to park nearby and eat in the car.
Always get the cheese manousha and the meat cheese manousha !! It’s the ultimate breakfast /snack / lunch!! Just make sure u go during the day and not at night as I went there on a Friday night the quality wasn’t up to the normal standard they have which was super disappointing !!
Decent place for the snack evening . I tried cheese chicken sandwich its really awesome . Food quality is pretty decent . I like their customer service. Best place for chilling with friends after college . They have lots of types of sandwich . Price is fair enough
Al reef Lebanese bakery is a nice place in my opinion to have some good Lebanese bakery food at nominal prices! Loved the interiors here and staff is courtious too!!
So glad I finally got to try this place today
My friend picked up manaeesh from there this morning and brought them over
Meat quality is good
Dough is good, but I wish they cooked it a little more
This is a great yet modest place to have Lebanese food in Dubai - and it's open 24/7. Grilled chicken came with lovely wholesome baked bread , salad, hummus, garlic dip. The portion was ample and food delicious. With sulaimani tea, the tab at Dhs 44 for 2, was pretty reasonable in expensive Dubai.
Very good and cheesy food, reminds me of my childhood. I would recommend going there more than once and trying their zaatar and cheese bread or with mortadella. Lovely atmosphere and would also recommend getting the triangular cake
The most soothing memory of my Dubai trip was Al Reef Lebanese Bakery. The Zaatar and the pastries were absolutely satisfying. I wish I had tried other Manakish dishes as well. Sadly I was content in one.!
This place serves the best manakeesh you can ever have in Dubai... PERIOD! Although the place has a humble decoration but it's simply the best.
Very Quick service - for vegeterians -recommended : Cheese, Zaatar, Zaatar Cheese, combo + labneh Manakeesh! Absolutely delicious & Eat while Hot!!
Also many good desserts including Baklawa Tips from Non-Veg friends:- Lamb + Cheese
Another old time favourite, this is an evergreen place,
A must visit, among the Dubai specialities on top will be this places face.
Anytime time of the day and for whatever meal you want the fresh manakeesh will fill your appetite,
Won't hurt a bit to your pocket, even if your budget is tight.
Freshly baked in front of you, the meat and cheese is my go to item here,
Zaatar and veg items are great too, unlike the decor and setting, on taste it's not an average affaire.
Whenever we are on the way hungry just think of this place to have cheese Manakeesh its just delicious and still can fill your tummy for choti bookh😀
This is the place for Arabic food lovers! Al Reef is one of the oldest and long standing restaurants in Dubai which serve delicious grilled chicken. We had only cheese manakish here which was yummy. It is very easy on your pocket. Must go if you don't wanna spend much and still have some filling Arabic food.
Al Reef Jumeirah has the best Cheese & Meat manaiksh in Dubai! Hands down! I've tried manakishes all over Dubai. never had anything as delicious as this place !
This is one of those places that I consider to be authentically emirati and while it’s not more than a hole in the wall, the taste and quality of the food is pretty amazing. Even their basic manakeesh is worth the trip. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking to experience authentic UAE food!
For more than 25 years in Jumeirah. Good Lebanese bakery. highly recommended to try the cheese and meat manakish with Laban Iran...also try their sweets.
Excellent lebanese food options here. The taste is consistent each time and a wide variety of food. The service is efficient and the taste keeps pulling me back for more.
For more than 25 years in Jumeirah. Good Lebanese hot and fresh bakery food. Great option for take away on the go especially Zaatar and Cheese. Sweets are also a good choice.
A very nostalgic experience! They haven’t changed a bit.. that’s great news in terms of food but not so much the interior which could use a little sprucing up. The small is a great size and would be equivalent to the regular size in most other places! The cheese and Zaatar with vegetables are de-lish.. the staff could be a little friendlier though
Ordered Pies several times for delivery and also pick up. Quality is never different. The dough is always fresh and soft even if the pie is left on the side for a couple hours. An old gem in dubai with good quality, price.
Very small joint, limited seating capacity , below average service, pocket friendly restaurant offering amazing authentic Arabic food.
Fresh warm pita bread, delicious hummus and a must try chicken shawarma . Taking only food into consideration, this place is a mist visit for all the shawarma lovers. One of the hidden gems in Dubai.
One of the eldest bakeries in town, which still looks the same. It is a good place to get takeaway.
I recommend their manaeish, usually order cheese with vegetables. I am not a fan of their cakes or sweets
One of the best restaurants in Al Nasr, Their food is fresh, clean and tasty. Their service is excellent, the man who worked there delivered my order to my car very quickly without delay. My favorite pastry there is Spinach as well as cheese (Haloumi).
Still one of the best authentic lebanese manakeesh in Dubai. Only issue is that sometime cheese is too salty and zaatar too oily, but it can't be missed. Hope they get refurbished soon as it's pretty old. Try the cheese with spinach and cheese with harhoura
This was and will always be the place to go to for late night mankeesh and lahm baajin. I reasly love their cheese manakish and zaatar manakish. Must try!

I have lately become a big fan of Manakeesh and found a new style of it here. So they don't have the flat crispy base but instead it is like a panini. It's wrapped up in paper and really easy to carry and eat.
The place is a bakery so it is loaded with all sorts of breads and desserts on display. We placed our order on the counter and sat at the small table by the window. The order hardly took time and was ready within minutes.
Get set Gobble:
~ Spicy tomato - This is some really spicy stuff. My friends (who are super serious chilli lovers and eaters) found that the chili hit their throat and for once I was the one who was able to eat it. I pulled out portions of chicken from my other manakeesh and paired it with this to mellow the spice kick. Yum!
~ Cheese with veg - Quite yum. I loved the selection of fresh vegetables they add and the chunky slices they are cut into. It had tomatoes, olives and mint leaves.
~ Labneh with veg - Same as the one before but loaded with labneh. I love the texture of labneh as it is like cheese spread but just without the guilt of eating all those calories. Yum!
~ Zaatar with chicken and cheese - Loved this. There were generous amounts of chicken loaded and the flavour of zaatar was very pronounced.
~ Desserts - We had two varieties of the chocolate biscuit that were good and one pistachio dessert that unfortunately we could not figure out the name of. It had a souffle like consistency and was low on sweet but I like the topped nuts.
Ah my go to place on carb day for manakeesh!
My favorite combo is cheese and zaatar. The saltiness of the zaatar perfectly balances the cheese. I also like the spicy cheese which isn't hot but more favourful.
The best Manakeesh in Dubai if not the UAE. They Zatar and Cheese Manakeesh are worth the drive from Jebel Ali very often. I have tried their deserts various times but the Manakeesh are just the bestm.
Well ordered a cheese Manakesh
And a pizza vegetable.
Got it Delivered
With salad
And fresh juices.
Service and ambience was okey
Tate was good thou.
One of the best places that serve mana2esh,they have authentic dough taste.price wise its affordable .their only shortfall are the staff, their uniforms are dirty which affect customers in terms of hygienic standards and they seems not interested .rather than this its good place
Al Reef Bakery is my go-to place when I get hungry in the evening or late at night. I just go grab a cheese mana'eesh.. It is big, tasty and good value for money! All their mana'eeshes are filling and yummy. :)
Ahh it's absolutely amazing. I can never get tired of this place. The minute you walk in you know you're somewhere authentic, authentically Lebanese. They have Arabic sweets and delicacies, cakes, breads, snacks and hot food. This time around I ordered the house favourite Manakesh with cheese and Lahme Baajeen! The key (Key to success 🔑) is to eat it as soon as you get it so that it melts in your mouth with the heat. It's probably not the nicest sit down places, but the food will always be better and comforting than any 5* restaurant can serve you up.
The simple things in life are always best, like a fresh out of the oven Manakeesh for breakfast. Whether it’s simply with Za’atar or with melted oozy-gooey-stringy-stretchy cheese (or both) – or something with a little more kick, the way I like it, with spicy tomato – there is no doubt that this is one of the very best ways to start the day. Of course it’s an equally good way to start the afternoon too. And also a good way to end the day. You get my point, na? It’s just good. Tamam. And there are few places which do Manakeesh better than the venerable al-Reef Lebanese Bakery in Jumeirah 2. Open round the clock this unassuming establishment has been turning out oven baked Levantine favourites for years. Perhaps because their long working hours, perhaps because of their near cultish popularity, the staff look uninterested and bored. They serve people with an indifference which can at times seem rude. Some say that’s just part of the appeal. I don’t think so and am rating them down accordingly. But whether they give a hoot or not, al-Reef remains one of the best of its type in Dubai.
Waste NOT. Want NOT.
Great place to have a manakeesh at any time of the day as they are open 24/7. It is also the best manakeesh I have tried so far in Dubai. It doesn't have a nice interior so we normally take away.
Its one of my favourite place to enjoy Manakish zatar with cheese and vegetables. They make it really fresh and serve you hot with loaded vegetables. The place is open 24 hours and staff is really friendly. Its a great place which is value for money. The place is highly recommended especially for manakish breads with cheese.
Excellent ambiance
Decent price
Friendly staff
Mix grill

Chicken kabab

This place is amazing for food and it is know for there Lebanese food . They are open 24 hours which is the best part or it . Food quality was very nice mouth watering food and so soft & service was very nice . Staff was nice . I will surly recommend everyone to try these place if u are Lebanese lover .
Have been going here for years to pick up Manakeesh and khubs.
Manakeesh is always amazing and the best part its open 24 hours! so if you are hungry late night you can drop in and i think other branches are also open 24 hours.
they maintain their consistency in different branches which is excellent!
Zomato should have an option to search for drunk food. Are you listening zomato?! Drunk food is an essential and important cuisine in itself. Anyway if zomato did have drunk food as its own cuisine then the Cheese egg chilli manakeesh at Al Reef would top that list. It's everything that you need for your post binge session. Bread, spicy sauce, egg and lots of cheese. Ive had it sober once and it definitely does not taste as good as it does when you're drunk. You'll dream about it! Try it this Thursday night peeps xx
Perfect manakeesh for an average person's appetite. Try the meat and cheese. Dripping cheese. Not that friendly staff though but worth dealing with that for the amazing manakeesh.
For me its the best Lebanese bakery in town (Like it better than the sister concern in Karama). The freshly made manakeesh is tasty beyond imagination. Have tried almost all of em on the menu but am biased towards the zaatar and cheese one. Hits the spot every time !! I have picked up the Lebanese sweets multiple times as well - Really good !! Highly recommend it !!

One of the oldest hidden gems in Dubai. Been coming to this place for mana'eesh for the past decade. Everything on the menu is just good. Highly recommended if you're into the real deal.

Favorite bakery in the whole wide world. When you think of the best Arabic (fast) food available in Dubai, You most definitely think of Al Reef Lebanese Bakery.
Barring their age-old white tube-lights resembling hospitals and bare-basic interiors, everything else is top-notch from sweets, to beverages to their delicious fooooooood.
Try their Zaatar+Cheese+Labneh+Mahmoura Manakeesh Roti. You will get a death stare from the guy taking your order. But, trust me, its worth it ;)

Man'oucheh is by far my favorite breakfast. The best I've ever had was surprisingly in Kumasi, Ghana. Al Reef is really good and his secret lies in the dough. Zaatar and cheese are recommended but what u don't wana miss is their lahm bi ajin!
One of my favourite places to stumble into after a heavy night out on the town .still the best Manakesh in town especially the cheese and meat the problem is once you start you can't stop
Best Manaeesh in Dubai for years !!
Being born here, my mom used to take us here on Fridays as kids for a quick pick after a long road trip. The taste is still amazing! Having tried most of the other outlets, I would still say al reef was the best.
I recommend: Zaatar Manaeesh, cheese Manaeesh and lahm Bil ajeen
Best authentic Mana2ech in town!! for all pastry lovers highly recommended!! open 24 hours for after parties and late night eats. Decently priced!!
From the mouth of a vegetarian - this branch is easier to access for a midnight snack while returning from partying it up in madinat jumeira. The manakeesh was made hot and fresh and was awesome! I had the cheese zaatar with labneh. This location is also more quiet than the karama one. Parking is right outside and can get full on weekends. Staff does not understand English extremely well so you might have to keep making sure they get the order right.
ADD UPDATE!!!
Guys.... what have you done :-((( I've left my original review below this text saying how it is a 5 star place, the best in town.... Was the best in town I should say :-(
I've been coming for over 10 years, then a couple weeks ago I came in to find all new staff, not the best attitude & worse of all... the recipe has changed on your cheese breads, I'm so upset.
What ever you have done, please change it back. The Akawi cheese no longer has its salty punch to it & it's just generally a bit bland compared to the recipe of old. Cheese & meat use to be packed full of flavour & juices. Now it's dry compared to the old recipe. The juice fridges were bare & you never even had eggs available for my cheese & egg brekkie bread today :-(
I hope you guys see my review & reply or do something, because Al Reef WAS the best bakery in town, now it's just not as good. I really hope you go back to the way things use to be & I can give you 5 stars again. I know for sure the previous old Lebanese manager with the white hair would not accept things as they are now. He had Al Reef running like a well oiled machine. Fingers crossed you can change things guys.
ORIGINAL REVIEW!!!
5 stars.
This was one of the 1st places I ever visited in Dubai for food, it was 10 years ago & I've been coming back ever since. That first bite of meat & cheese bread had me hooked haha. The best Lebanese bakery in town by far. I've tried Manakish all over the UAE & Al reef wins hands down. It's also became a bit of a cult following with all my friends, with it being the preferred stop on the way home at 3am after a long night. Love the food guys :-))
Have been going back three years now! Amazing tasty cheap and always same quality! The sweets could be better and more tasty BUT they remind me of the traditional old bakery kind I find back home in Greece! So still loving them...
#getyourfixnow . Old time favorites, post clubbing meal... Good really for any time of the day. Get the cheese and meat(jibn wa laham) or just the cheese or the zaatar Manaakesh... Just the best in the world. Been coming here since I was a kid and their quality has really kept pace. Super filling, great price, awesome baklava too. All year round.
Al Reef is defiantly my all time favourite. Its a small bakery near safa park which is open 24 hours. Its nothing fancy but you will definitely love the food here. This is the place where I can grab a quick bite at 2am or 2pm and their food will still be fresh. Their Cheese Chilli Labneh and chatoora make my favourite meal. They also serve various other types of manakish such as cheese or zaatar or meat ones - all tried and tested!
Their staff is really sweet and though there is a language barrier, they do their best to make you feel welcome.
After shifting base to Dubai from Abu Dhabi, I have been in search of good Mana'esh place or a good lebanese bakery since last 2 years. Finally, my search comes to an end with Al Reef in jumeirah. A simple, humble joint with very straightforward bakery goods. I loved their coconut macaroons. They are out of the world. Also, their kishk, cheese honey and spicy tomato mana'esh are my favorites!
Best labneh and Zaatar bread and cheese and meat bread... Best eaten immediately... No good if re heated! A must try in Dubai...at the Safa park branch
I can't differ with the others on this place, Al Reef is all about their Mana'eesh.
It's open all night long for those midnight cravings of cheesy goodness.
My favourites here are the Cheese, Cheese Zaatar, Cheese Garlic & Zataar Mana'eesh.
This place is literally as good as it gets. I've been coming here since years and their quality has remained the same while prices have only marginally increased, still very low & better value than other similar places.
Definitely a must visit !!
Pros : 24x7 !!!
Absolutely delicious Mana'eesh
Superb value for money
Cons :
Ambiance isn't exactly the best out there.
Staff can be a bit rude at times
this place is well known for their cheesy and doughy mana'eesh. ive been eating at this place since i was little. they are known for their manaeesh. dont go for other products there unless you want to try them. the photos attached are from google. i was too hungry to take pictures lol
Mana'eesh.. Mana'eesh.. Mana'eesh.. Cant say it enough. Forget the cheesy branding and marketing of the likes of zaatar w zeit. This is as close as it gets to the authentic Levantine pastries called mana'eesh. Fifth of what you pay at those other "fancy" places
Can never go wrong with Al Reef though their manakesh are now a days are on the drier side. When I was introduced to Al Reef their manakesh used be juicy infact if you are eating, juice/ oil used to drop from it. Anyways coming to food, have tried almost all their manakesh. Each and every has a different taste. Labneh with vegetables is good same as cheese or cheese with zatar.
We always opt for a takeaway as inside only two tables are there which in evenings or night are always occupied.
Cheap and tasty option to eat and filling also.
I have been going to this establishment for as long as I remember! The best manakeesh and friendly service. The manakeesh are packed with fillings and are never short of what is said to be put in them!
I tried Al Reef during my first year in Dubai. This place is arguably the best authentic bakery compared to those that have opened up, with some right across the road.
For those not familiar with a Lebanese bakery, you will find a variety of options including breakfast breads topped with traditional zaatar and/or halloumi cheese. There are always the optional add ons of mint, cucumbers, and tomatoes which I would highly recommend and if your sweet tooth kicks in while you're in the store, try their halaby sweets.
Pros : The Mana2ish are to die for especially meat with cheese or labneh with zaatar. They serve the food really quickly, they also got some decent sweets that are worth checking out.
Cons: Forget about finding a parking spot on the weekend. Don't consider dining in just enjoy the food in your own car.
Its just wow
Gives you a feel of middle east cusine
Zatar is just mouth watering had chiken and cheese
Pls open a branch in mumbai
Since ive been visiting its various branches over the years, noticed the size of an average manakish and its toppings reduce. However this has been our goto place pre or post clubbing in the area. Always soul satisfying when ur near burnout!
Love their cheese & meat manaeesh, just some great bite for very little money.
Parking is always a bit of an issue - so park a choitrams and walk :)
My favourite breakfast in Dubai. I love the cheese bread. It is so filling and delicious. The cheese quantity is amazing. Although prices have increased but nevertheless the quantity hasn't reduced :D
This is a gem of a bakery for one simple reason - it serves awesome manakish at a reasonable price. The manakish is freshly made, cheesy and is piping hot (what more could one ask for)..I have tried their plain cheese, cheese with meat, cheese with chicken, cheese with egg and cheese with spinach and they are all awesome. The best thing about the manakish is that the cheese they use is not the salty variety that is used in many other bakeries. They also have delicious labneh with fresh vegetables or labneh with zattar. The manakish are wholesome and tasty. Could easily give any pizza a run for its money. Parking could be an issue at the Jumeirah branch as there are few parking slots available. The dining area consists of just two tables with a total of four chairs hence take away is a better option to be eaten in the car. Putting it mildly, lets just say the counter staff have not been trained in customer service and have minimum understanding of English language. The Manager (elderly gentleman) also appears very grumpy and there is no hint of a smile even when you wish him. No ambiance whatsoever due to the reasons stated above. I believe it is open 24 hours.

Having manakish early morning will be one of my most reminiscent memories. 4.5 due to the lack of seating available. Very clean, very reasonably priced, excellent quality and quick service.
Been going there ever since I was a kid and I still love their manaesh well my fave is zaatar second is zaatar with cheese yummmm
Oh, what can one say about Al Reef that hasn't been said yet? I've been going to Al Reef since I was in diapers. It was before, and still remains one of the best places for a mana'eesh in Dubai. Everytime I come back into town, it's one of the first places I hit. The only complaint I have is that it somehow does not taste as great as it did in my childhood - probably because the quality of the Akkawi cheese has dropped. This is not the fault of the bakery i think, but the fault of our rapidly growing world with newer, cheaper technologies that take so much of the natural taste away. These days, if I want the old taste, I have to go elsewhere and pay 20 aed for a Mana'eesh to find it, and often times not even then. Natural/home made is now purely an artisinal process everywhere in the world.
But I digress - back to Al Reef. I love that they're less than 5 minutes away from me and open 24 hours - especially since I am a night owl and sometimes out at 4 am and hungry. As anyone who has spent more than 5 minutes in Dubai knows, any time and every time is good for Mana'eesh. I Love the simple cheese here, or the cheese and meat for a real heavy, salty treat. The cheese and sujuk (sausage) is actually more awesome. I also love making my own mix - my favourite is a plain za'aatar with fresh labnah and veggies on it (onion, tomato, olives). If i am getting a mana'eesh without any fresh ingredients (labnah, veggie) I ask them to not fold it and cut it- so it's served like a cut pizza.
The service here is a little iffy - sometimes friendly, sometimes not (they're very moody here). It is however always creepy, since they are very lonely men who like to stare at me (like literally, the bakers in the kitchen behind come up to the window to stare at me - even in the daytime). The Mana'eesh makes up for it though.
the mouse cursor is nervously hovering over the greenest 5.0 box, but head ultimately wins and heart has to take the back seat on this one.
I love these authentic places in Dubai, they are a rare commodity and this alone makes them close to my heart. but heart takes a vicious beating and is slowly broken to small pieces each time you take a bite of a 'wrong' item on the menu.Yes, they do have a ridiculously good cheese manousheh, which i'm sure inspired someone somewhere to write an amazing love poem about it, but they also have some shameful, shameful items, like the pizza, for example.
I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy. The canned everything (the mushrooms are the worst) they stuff in that thing make for a tormenting experience bite after bite.
You try to convince yourself it's 'Alright' by just thinking of the hot fluffy bread but its like adding extra salt and pepper to a rotten egg hoping to trick your brain and taste buds to concentrate on the good part.
Anyway, Al Reef (sigh):
i love you man, you're a good restaurant, just leave the italian bit to the italians.
Finally found authentic manaeesh! This place is the real deal. Must try the cheese manoosheh.. Divine..
Best for taste vs value for money shawarmas. Me and my always get the jumbo chicken shawarma with extra garlic creme.
This bakery is one of the very few places that perfects the shami (Lebanese, Syrian, Palestinian) baked goods. Their manaeesh (bread with different kinds of topings) is amazing. The bread is baked to perfection and is soft and yummy. Their cheese and meats are great. Tastes fresh and amazing. A weird suggestion would be eggs and meat manaeesh. It tastes great and is guaranteed to leave you satisfied.
4/5 because for some reason the old cute looking guy on the counter was very rude and for some reason mad at the politelest (if that's a word) restaurant employee who takes the manaeesh orders and wraps them. That kind of made me leave annoyed.
Something about this place just sucks me in. There will be times when I have no intention of going to Al Reef, but as I'm driving by, I just pull in. Strange.
I can't go here without getting a manakish with zaatar and labneh. It's such a simple thing, but it's so good. I also can't leave Al Reef without trying one of their cookies.
Al Reef is an awesome place for a quick bite. Even when it's super busy, they never take too long to get your order done.
Simply love the grill food here...
chicken shawarma my favrt...
so yummy....
Brilliant bakery with yummy food, not a place for dine in though.
