Saravanaa Bhavan hasn’t lost it charm despite the COVID scare around. The Onion Uttapam and the Podi Dosa along with their ever great Sambar and super delicious White chutney made my day. Glad to have started on a high note today. I’m still a loyal fan of yours!

Being a huge dosa fan! Went to Saranaa Bhavan to try their ghee roast masala dosa with masala separate. It is a very very crispy dosa with great taste. They chutneys’ and masala however are basic and don’t really add up to the taste.
As it was the lunch time we ended with thali, this's the best if you want to eat a lot on a budget. It is only 19 dhs and they give you free refills with everything! 😍
We also ordered coffees which was nice.
The service in this restaurant however is amazing and everyone there is very polite.
Weekends are always accompanied by lazy mornings, so decided to have a hearty breakfast in this restaurant. Ordered for pongal and medhu vada. Food was good but filter coffee was better.
Visited this outlet for dinner on a weekend. Wasn’t too crowded, so we immediately got a table. We ordered the Mushroom Soup and Veg Soup (The base of the soup is the same for everything, only the vegetables added differs) Sambar idly, Kara Dosa (Must try), Kothu Parotta, Parotta (A little dry, but the Korma was very good). The food is decently portioned. Pocket-friendly prices. The service was quick and prompt.

Great restaurant for south Indian food in Quasis. The masala dosa is huge and comes with a variety of chutneys to compliment it. A bit pricey as compared to similar restaurants but worth every penny!
Very fresh, delicious and aromatic food in here of South Indian delicacies. One of the few outlets of this chain where in its not overcrowded and the service is very quick and on the toes. The real experience lies in this Ghusais restaurant of Saravana Bhavan. The Malabar Paratha, mini tiffin, full South Indian thali and filter coffee is recommended.
One place where one can never go wrong in taste with our beloved dosa, idli and vada. They also have thali unlimited version..
Love sambar at this place. And they are always generous enough to give 2nd/3rd or even 4th serving of this lovely sambar.. go and have a lovely breakfast or any meals of the day.
This restaurant is really good to visit whenever you are around Qusais.
The ambiance is just very simple and cozy to sit for a casual dining. The staff is good and service is very quick.
I love their Dosas be it any.
They have some yummy Poori Bhaji, Channa Masala.
Also try their Noodles with Manchurian that is good too.
PS. If you like rice try their Bagalabath(Curd Rice) and Special Rice. Its very good and not to be missed.

Have been here more than ten times. The 'medhuvada' are so crisp and yumm...those tomato chutney and white chutney are 😘

Last Friday few of we friends went for breakfast. We all ordered for mini Tiffin as it would be served quickly. After finishing I noticed the waiters asking us if we needed to pack the leftover kesari. As a gesture to all I would suggest the management that they should enquire if anyone wants kesari and then serve it. Most people avoid sugar items nowadays. It feels bad to see food leftover which finally the dishwasher has to dispose off in a dustbin. I request you to follow this procedure in all your branches. I just love the food here.
Very clean and well kept I must say, unlike the other branches. We ordered medu vada, plain dosa, cauliflower masala dosa and rava onion dosa. The dosas were nice but the rava dosa, which I wanted crispy was soggy from inside.
South Indian food be the best for breakfast... A quick bite and your day begins. Had the Idli it was soft and cooked well with a variety of chutney along with coconut chutney and sambar which was fresh and delicious and also had their amazing filter coffee.Must visit.

One of the best dosa that I've ever had. Dosa was crispy.
Sambar was thick and full of flavours. Chutneys were also very tasty.
For me, it's the First time that I tasted upma.. it was good.
Puri bhaaji was also tasty.
After that we had tea.. we loved their tea..

On our way back to Dubai from Sharjah (where we had lunch at the Saravanaa by the clock tower) we stopped at aL Qusais for a late afternoon snack and were not disappointed with the pictured Vegetable Paratha
Craving for vegetarian food, then head to Saravanaa Bhavan. It surely satisfies your cravings for yummy delicious veggies. It's our every Friday stop for tummy filing breakfast. They have some sumptuous chutneys that go really well with dosas, idlis and the likes. It's open for lunch and dinner as well, so you can stop by anytime.

Had gone here for dinner with friends yesterday. It was around 9 and the place was not much crowed. We ordered Channa batura, masala dosa, parata with Kadai paneer punjabi. Loved it all. The paneer was excellent. We ordered vada2to start with, which was hot and freshly made. To end the evening w ordered tea as well. Enjoyed it all. The server was very helpful and quick on servic. Oh forgot we order lime soda and a mango lasso. The prices have gone up a bit on the menu on top of it, tax as well but no complaints here for a bout 6 adults it costed AED 165. surely value for money.
Awesome ghee roast! Also had chappati with channa which was also good. Pocket friendly and amazing dosa. Only downside here was the parking space.

They say and I agree, Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. This most important meal becomes fun when you go out for breakfast on weekend morning with the friends. So Me and Rajiv decided to have breakfast somewhere out. While discussing the options, I was asked If I like South Indian Food or North Indian Food, to which my reply was, somethings in North Indian and Somethings in South Indian since I haven't tried all of the options, ( how diplomatic, right).
Finally, it was decided to have some south Indian breakfast and we picked Saravana Bhavan to have this. The moment we got the menu in our hand, I got confused. So many of South Indian dishes, half of them I don't even know what these are ( should have googled some south Indian dishes before coming). But yeah, to my rescue I had Rajiv ( apparently he had to order the breakfast as I have gone to confused to pick anything).
We ordered 2 small tiffins in the breakfast, which has variety in it. One tiffin consists of one Dosa ( with potato filling), serving of Pongal, Idli & Sambar, Vada, coconut chutney, Mint spicy chutney, and Kayseri for dessert. To go with it we had ordered Fresh Milk tea from there.
So Now the rating time. I am grading stars as per the following ratings

Morning breakfast ordered was delicious sambhar, chutney , idly wada. Freshly made and delivered perfectly well on time and properly packed .superb service.
Visited with family. Good service and tasty food. We had Rava dosa, ghee dosa , spinach dosa and ofcourse masala dosa. Undoubtedly they are masters of South Indian flavors. Thali was ok.
Upon the suggestion of our kind server we ordered mashroom Manchurian and it turned out to be amazing. Lassi , orange juice and fresh lime added goodness!

If you want to try Masala dosa in a traditional Tamil style restaurant, this is the place.
A real authentic Tamil restaurant.
The staff can be a bit more nice to the customers. (That’s why I am giving 4 stars otherwise it could have been 5.)

Very good experience. The staff is friendly. We had the ghee masala dosa. It was huge and tasty. The filter coffee was the icing on the cake.
