Thank you to the staff at ceramic cafe, my daughter had an amazing party with you yesterday, great value and very well organised

Nice place.

This is a very good hangout place when you want to engage with ur kids or friends in some productive way. They have got some awesome beverages and salads while u and ur kids are engaged in some art. They have got amazing ceramic stuff which you have to paint and then you get it back after they bake it. You can use it for multiple purpose depending on the product you choose. Salad that I ordered was having not only carefully chosen veggies but it’s dressing was very carefully taken care of. Would love to go there again.

A very beautiful place, comfortable and a sense of confidence and creativity, and also provides an atmosphere for children and painting on ceramics
i went before the closing timings by an hour and a half. But employees told me that they closed the system and they want to clean the place. Unexpected attt all. I went at 8:30 when on good it was written that it opens until 12. When i reached they told me system is closed and they closing time is at 10. Bad reputation!

Very overhyped place located in a shabby mall. The interior decor was quite poor. Tables & chairs were old. The food was very average. The fries were terrible and the staff were very cheeky and rude. They took 30 mins to replace a cup of coffee. Apart from the painting entertainment i don't see anything special about this place.

A place to catch up with friends, eat good food and relax while you paint away!
You can choose a ceramic piece of your choice and choose the colours you want to paint with. You can collect your masterpiece a week later. The food was great, we ordered a seafood pizza and few drinks and it was quite delicious! A fun place to visit.

Good place, live music, wide range of food and beverages and extra spacious seatings, what else a person needs on weekends. The interior is really awesome and the night show is good too, but I didn't liked the food though.

Absolutely love this place. Got a chance to visit it after it moved from Mall of Emirates. We spent an entire day and made so many memories. Perfect way to bond as a family and create something together.

Tried and tasted:
Chicken burger
Molten cake with icecream.

Review:-
The servers are relaxed. You can choose your piece, paints and relax. Great way to destress painting your worries away. You can choose different ceramics and paints to use on them.
Staff is always ready to help. What I loved was the paints are washable so if you dont like the piece you can jst wipe it down and start.
You can take your time so dont worry you won't be rushed to eat, create and leave. That's what I loved the most.

Highly recommend trying it.

They also have a great outdoor sitting space or indoor sitting space.

Slow service, very average food but fun experience if you’re painting any of their many ceramic models. Ordered appetizers to share as we got busy painting but I realized that the only non frozen food items they had prepared were the chicken quesadillas which were borderline disgusting! Dried small chunks of chicken in a spicy paste made out of onions and capsicum and not sure what else! The only dish they actually had to make themselves was an absolute shame so that is why I rated their food this low! Anyone can fry frozen mozzarella sticks, vegetable spring rolls, calamari, chicken tenders and French fries. I can’t really rate them based on frozen food they haven’t prepared!
Yamuna Zaveri
Absolutely disappointed. The service has deteriorated way below acceptance. With the weather being supportive for a few months in Dubai, you want to sit outside for lunch and can’t, cause they have umbrellas that don’t function and nothings been done about them. Then, the entire cafe has NO plug point. I was offered the one inside the production area where guest don’t have access, thank god for getting safety right atleast. Requesting to speak to the manager, blatantly, “he’s off”. Zilch proactiveness. It used to be an old time favorite cafe, and has unfortunately out of the list now. Wonder what’s the challenge I’m gonna face with the food and the server now, who seems to be least interested on being at work.

It was my first visit to the place, the staff are friendly so my son picked up a piece of ceramique for painting it.

Meanwhile I ordered their following items from the menu:

1 Minty Lemon Juice: which was extremely sweet.. will avoid having that on my next visit. Since the place was crowded the staff got very busy while we were eating our food and service was delayed.
2. Olive and chicken pasta... very very saucy. But the Pasta was cooked well.
3. Chicken Quesadilla: awesome tasting and served with sauces.
4. Chicken strips and fries: this I had ordered gor my 4 year old... but the chicken strips were not that soft, so will avoid ordering it next time.
5. Cheesy macaroni: Best dish.

Quantity is good for sharing if you are in a crowd. Price of food is ok. Just take your creative hat and enjoy your afternoon to kill time with kids who are busy painting 3 coat on their ceramique.

This place gives you the much needed family time you need in this busy city!

We reached there on Friday late afternoon so not many tables were occupied. My daughter was so excited to start with her piece of art that she couldn't even wait until we ordered something to eat. Finally after selecting a peacock we were back at the table ready to begin. We needed something to munch on while painting so we ordered the garlic bread with cheese, chicken quesadillas, a cappuccino and a hot chocolate!

The food was very reasonably priced and tasty! Our drinks were great too. We spent the entire evening there eating, painting and chatting.... the things we lack in our daily busy schedules - reconnecting with family and life! An evening and a weekend spent well. By the time we were leaving, the place was full of families busy with their artwork - a rare sight where you don't see a lot people glued to their cell phones.

The piece of ceramic then needs to be collected after a week or ten days when ready. Trust me the outcome is beautiful and we were proud of ourselves too :)

Love the atmosphere of this place. Great with kids to go with. Wish there was a branch in Abu Dhabi at Yas Mall. The service leaves a little to be desired. For busy timings like Friday there isn't enough staff and the service is slow. You have to follow up on them or you'll be forgotten.

FOOD: ordered the triple play, served hot and fresh.
SERVICE: friendly staff, quick service.
AMBIENCE: perfect place for you to come with your kids to enjoy painting the ceramic items. Or you could listen to the music and destress while painting. I love their concept. A fun filled environment overall.

I liked the idea of the cafe that you enjoy their menu and you can paint on ceramique , the place is so quite and calm . You can take your children also there for painting. Also their prices is fair. I like their service as well and how they serve the customer.

Visited here with my daughter and had a ball, we picked up a ceramic snow white and loved painting it and when we finished our masterpiece, we were given a token, which we will need to collect it two to three days later after the pottery has been fired and glazed.
It was a very unique and wonderful experience.
Staff was friendly and nice.
Ordered chicken shawarma and chicken tikka pizza. The portions were generous and the taste was really good.
Will definitely go there again and recommend to friends!
Only criticism is that the pottery pieces are over priced.
Noureen Khowaja (Nonyism)
we took kids to the cafe ceramic they loved painting the mugs which they were able to take home ! they were also served chicken burger, chicken nuggets! i got my self chicken sandwich, it was a nice experience.

Great place to hang out. Who knew painting was such a stress relieving thing. Loved the idea. Even though they've been around for a while. And the food wasnt bad either.
Nice place

Cafe ceramique in concept is a restaurant cafe where u can paint and dine. It is for ages from 4 to 100.
We visited the outlet at town centre, Jumeirah.
When u enter the cafe, u can see white shapes along the walls behind. From tea cups to wolverine statue to pretty angels all lined up, u can choose a shape. You can select 7 colours , they give u brushes, water and you are on your own. It is indeed very relaxing and perfect destressing activity. The colours are generally very light and u need to do 3 coats for a right shade, but I would recommend to choose colours on the darker side especially if your going with children . They do not have the patience for 3 coats.
The best part is you get to take it artwork glazed after a week. once glazed everyone's artwork looks good!!!
Also the food is good from salmon with mash potatoes to grilled chicken to kids pasta. good accompaint while u distress.
I would recommend going there for the activity rather for than the food . I love the concept !!!

Some people have a notion that a sandwich is a simple thing.

Those who know how difficult it is to get it just right are few and far in between. So the club sandwich here really took me by absolute surprise. An amazing treat where the balance was exquisite. After more than a decade I had a. Club that brought a smile to my face.

The other one was croissant and more - large portion the egg was made extremely well.

Handsome portion size and excellent service.

Encourage places like these, they deserve an audience.

A friend took me here and I was not sure what to expect. However, I was pleasantly surprised with the concept, which allows you to select a blank ceramic of your choice and paint it. Its quite a fun activity to share with a friend or 2 and is a refreshing change from the standard meals out. The food and ambience of the place is just about okay, and if it was not for the ceramic paintings I would definitely not recommend this place as a restaurant. However, fun spot to test out your artistic side.

Had gone on a Friday morning, the cafe is quite empty. Ceramiques are bit over pricey, a mug starting at 59/- dhs. Food is reasonably priced, tomatoe soup was very sour, quesadilla filled with egg plants which tasted raw..mango smoothie was unnatural, however orange basil juice was quite nice.
Shilpa Rajan
Their paint your own pottery concept looked interesting even though we did not try it .Ordered a veg pizza and Caesar chicken salad. Both tasted really good.

Best breakfast i have tried there banana pancakes and they were amazing perfect place to go for breakfast with your family
5.5
food
staff
everything was to good

Having house guests over during summer can offer a bunch of challenges, mainly what activities can you do which do not involve a trip to MOE or Dubai Mall. Cafe Ceramique is the perfect place to spend hours painting ceramic pieces you will probably never keep in a place where other people can see it, but it's really fun, aunties and the kiddies really enjoy it. The food is not the best but you don't really go there to satisfy the munchies.

Vibes: such a great vibes, to paint, chat with your friends/family, and eat.

Order:
• mac n cheese: well because I love mac n cheese I have ordered it even though it's from the kids menu, it looked so good, but the taste was so buttery and heavy. It came with Rani juice and it wasn't even cold 😅 (such a disappointment)

• spicy wedges: it was an average potato wedges with spicy mayo dipping, the dipping sauce was good.

We were invited over a birthday in cafe céramique.
The place is really nice and it unleashes The creativity inside you.
The place is full with the ceramic statues waiting to be colored.
We had some finger food and he kids had nuggets , fries pizza, macaroni and cheese.

I celebrated my daughters 8th birthday here and having been through many such cycles in the past few years at many different locations in Dubai, I can honestly say that Cafe Ceramique staff rocked! The birthday arrangements were impeccable, food was great. Their chicken Quesadillas are to die for. My daughter remarked that this was truly the best birthday she has ever celebrated. The staff truly thought of everything before I could request for it such as managing service between the kids in the party room and adults in the cafe area or helping us pack extra cake in plastic containers or carrying all the gifts to the car. We were very relaxed because service was prompt. A big shout out to Maria, Ruby, Raman and Shashi. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would.

What a unique concept and such a brilliant way to spend a nice lazy day!
My husband and I visited Cafe Ceramique for our monthly date and ended up spending over 4 hours painting our ceramics =)
We ordered beef tenderloin, chicken quessadillas and a juice each.. the food was good and appealing. The vibe of the place is relaxed and chilled out. You can visit the place just to dine or just to paint or do a little of both, like us. =) We ended up choosing a ceramic each and spent hours enjoying ourselves painting and marvelling at the artistic pieces that were being made by the people around us.
Overall, a must do once, and if this is your cup of tea then you'd love going back there again!

Now this is a place where you can combine food with a bit of art ... A rare place to find in our little Dubai.

The concept here is simple, you choose a ceramic piece from the number of shelves in the place, think of what you want to paint in it, and the place will supply you with the colors and the paintbrushes. And while you work on your masterpiece, you can order yourself a salad, a cake or coffee.

You can pickup the ceramic after one week, as they will need to bake it ... It won't look exactly how you expect it to look ... But only better!

Recommended place to take the kids and get them busy with some art. They do a lot of functions and activities for the little ones, including birthday celebrations.

You are never too old to try a bit of coloring. Just don't expect amazing food.

If there is any place tat combines casual dining with creative fun, it's Café Ceramique. You can sit here for hours painting a figurine and enjoy some of their wraps and sandwiches not to mention the great coffee.

Great place to spend a lazy weekend afternoon indoors for all ages!

My best friend and I decided to catch up over coffee at Cafe Ceramique a couple of weekends ago and did not realize where our time went! Dubai can get to you from time to time, and make you feel like you lead a very monotonous life, but it's places like these that offer a twist on your regular experiences. With of course great tasting coffee and snacks, Cafe Ceramique has a wide amount of ceramic items you can pick from and spend a few hours painting. The best part is, you don't even need to be an artist to have a good time, you'll easily get inspiration from people around you! What I found was a great customer experience and a great tool too to bring people back is that once you have purchased a pottery item from them, you have up to 2 months to come back and keep painting it. Painting is a lot more work (and fun!!) than a non-painter like myself can imagine!
Sherry
A great concept - where you can eat and paint various pieces of ceramic items.

I chose a mug & it cost around 70dhs. The only downside being that you have to wait a week before you can pick up your final product.

Pawan Manghnani (The Tasterpreneur)
Had visited Cafe Ceramique many moons back when this concept was brand spanking new in the region. It was a super fun session for all of our friends who were painting something after a decade or so. Don't remember what we ate at the time as it's been many years to it but our experience was beautiful.

--A drop of ink may make a million think.
@AyaashPaw

My rating for this place is based on the Cafe Ceramique concept and not their food!

I absolutely love this place but not so much for its food but its overall concept. I think its one of the best creative cafes we have in Dubai, where you can spend your time doing something worthwhile and fulfilling. You see the place filled with kids and adults. While for kids painting ceramique toys is fun and exciting for adults it can be very therapeutic and fun as well, as you almost re-live your childhood days :).

The place also serves an extensive food menu with an International choice, however, everything tastes average in my view. I feel the food is more of an add-on service they provide and not really their focus. They know if you sit there painting for hours, you or your kids are bound to get hungry. Besides, they are a cafe so they need to offer food.

If you haven't been here and painted an object you are missing out on a fun exercise. It's especially more fun if you have kids as its a great bonding exercise. It does require patience, so be prepared. Also, not the cheapest affair so be ready to dish out some cash :).
Aditya Singhvi
A unique concept!
My wife (Ruchi Singhvi) and me visited this place as it had a decent Italian menu. The overall ratings were a shade under 4 so I thought why not try it out.

I'll stick to my take on the food as that's really why I came. We ordered for an Olive & Chicken Pasta (minus the eggplant, chicken and mushrooms) along with a veg pizza and and onion ring platter, and basil orange juice.

The onion ring platter was just right, crispy without being extra oily. The pasta was surprisingly delicious and we both liked it quite a bit.

The veg pizza was absolutely delicious; crisp without being overcooked, fresh. Probably one of best cooked pizzas I've had.

For me though the most delicious of them all was the basil orange juice. It is a must try and definitely worth it. The juice was refreshing and filling. I would've had another glass just for the taste if I wasn't full.

Their desserts menu was pretty good but since were full, couldn't try it. I'm definitely coming back for more.

Cafe Ceramique [located in Town Centre, Jumeirah 1] is a place where artisans and foodies work together! ;) They give you the option of painting while binging. Choose your porcelain mug or vase from their showcase and request for the colors that you wanna paint with. Always good to ask how to proceed with the whole ordeal rather than making a mess of it. We painted a Madagascar penguin on one of their mugs [a pretty amateur effort! ;p]. F&B order included a Tough in the Gulf sandwich, Molten Chocolate cake, and a chocolate milkshake. Barring the milkshake which felt a little watered down, no issues with whatever we ordered. Service was up to the mark as well although each of our requests were handled by different stewards, probably because it was a busy Friday evening!

instagram.com/arungeorge13

We attended a birthday party here. Very nice service and very cooperative staff. I had cappuccino there which was nicely done oozing with fresh coffee aroma. Kids enjoyed a lot and they painted different animals made of ceramic. These can be collected after 48hrs once fully dry.

Its one of the beat place if u like painting. Been here with my friend on a chillaxed thursday. Ordered their pastas wich was so delicious. Also the best part is you can paint your own potter while you enjoy their food. I spent 3-4 hours painting. I simply loved my experience of being here.
Rohit Matlani

If you like painting and drawing even if you don’t have an artistic skill this place gives you an opportunity to give your skills a try. So this place is full of ceramic works on which v hv to draw or paint . And we will get the baked ceramic work after few days. And they do have a variety of ceramic works like a cup/plate/a doll/an animal etc. it’s upon us to choose and paint and get it baked from them for the final use.

A cafe that's fun for all ages! Take the kids and keep them busy or even go for an all girl date and enjoy the food plus ceramic painting. A cafe with a difference indeed.
I'm giving them a 3.5 rating as their service was slow but apart from that it's a cafe worth visiting!

Among the better entertaining + productive places to take your kids for a couple of hours...and not to forget the tasty meal ;-) .

The ceramic creations of your kids can be kept for surprising them on their later birthdays or as gifts to their grandparents or best friends ;-)
About food, Veg Lasagna and Veg Pizza were yummy. My kids' 3rd visit. I will return too. NPS- 8.

Please educate ur staff on food rules during Ramadan. Children are exempt from fasting and are allowed to eat in public. I came with my 1 year old twins to paint Father's Day plate with our own small lunch box for them to snack on and was told to move to a back room (which had non working ac!) and the guy (who claimed to be the manager) wouldn't listen to me trying to explain that children are allowed to eat and drink. It took me 5 minutes to convince him to at least open the door as we were all going to faint in there whilst he was threatening me with Municipality visits and etc. And it was very "kind" of him not to hold the door and just stand watching whilst I tried to squeeze in my double pram in the back room that he demanded we stay at. It's totally shocking and unacceptable that our Father's Day experience was totally ruined by such treatment.
Here are the rules for ur convenience. http://m.thenational.ae/uae/20160602/ramadan-faqs-all-you-need-to-know-about-the-holy-month-in-the-uae

I had an absolute amazing experience here. Booked a table for friday morning, and it was filled with kids. So you start with chosing the ceramic. It ranges from 70dhs to 150 dhs and even bigger ones. I chose a tiny cupcake looking like ceramic (AED 75). And the servers were really helpful in explaining how we had to chose the colours. So we were here just to chill, ordered only for chicken quesadillas. And obviously I had read a lot of reviews with negative comments about their food, surprisingly, it was great! I loved it. Im probably going to end up again to try their other dishes. Also, i got my glazed ceramic in a week :)

Adorable little cafe in Jumeirah offering a fun and unique experience to spend quality time with your friends and family! Food is definitely not the best but if you're looking for a fun place to destress and be creative highly recommend it! 😋

This cafe has an interesting twist like the name itself. It's a place not only for some good coffee and food but also ypu can paint, get creative on ceramics. You can spend alot of quality time. They have a large variety of ceramics you can choose and paint on. After that you can get it glazed and oven baked to take home for personal use. All this at a cost but worth it.

The location is fantastic and they have indoor and outdoor seating.
Nick Snacks
Lap up the sea breeze at this charming little ceramic café. The breakfast options are nothing to write home about, except for the Hollandaise sauce, which deserves to be written home about because of how weird it tastes. But breakfast wasn't our top priority, hardcore pottery was. Combined with the sunshine, coffee and art therapy - you've got yourself a perfect weekend at Café Ceramique!
That Girl Who Travels
Absolutely love the fresh CC Special salad I had at Cafe Ceramique this evening. There is so much in this salad that you can't help but be surprised with every bite!

You'll find citrus and acidic notes with the balsamic vinegar and orange, sweet apples, lightly salted peanuts, walnuts, strawberries, and sun dried tomatoes. I think one of the ingredients that sealed the deal was the herb potato chunks. Somehow it just works. The best thing about this salad? They didn't skimp out on the quality.

Cafe ceramique is for anyone and everyone who likes to paint. You don't need to be "skilled" as such- they've got ceramics in all shapes and sizes. I've possibly spent my entire childhood here and often find myself huddled in a corner painting to my hearts content.

And they do have a variety of ceramic works like a cup/plate/a doll/an animal etc. it's upon us to choose and paint and get it baked from them for the final use.

Basically this place gives more importance to entertaining part rather than the food they serve. Kids will love this place for sure.and v can keep them engaged through out and can chit, chat and dine peacefully.

Ambience is amazing with lots of ceramics and with a beautiful view of jumeirah. They do have both inside and outside seats.

Food was pathetic.

Mushroom soup: was tasteless and no one of us enjoyed it.
Club sandwich: was also not good with really dry and hard bread and flavorless filling.
Chicken Quesadilla: was the only dish which I liked, for which it was crispy and crunchy and the cheesy filling was delicious. It was served with guacamole and sour cream .
Salad: it was a mix lots of veggies but little dressing .
Molten chocolate cake: was again disappointed .really bad experience. Cake dry and we all just had the ice cream on top of the cake.
Brownie with ice cream: bit satisfied that it was not dry as the molten cake but not good enough to try it again.

Overall experience in respect to the entertainment part was excellent but the food was really disappointing.

Service was really good to mention.

If you are looking for a kid friendly cafe where you are not split between talking to ur friend / spouse while trying to entertain your kid at same time.

If you vowed you would not give your kid the smart phone/ pad just so they stop bugging you while you have a decent meal..... Look no further.....

Cafe ceramique is located in town centre in Jumeriah. You can enjoy a meal while your kids paint ceramique of different shapes and sizes. Kids are happy and occupied.

I have tried the pasta in white sauce, pizza, mozzarella sticks ,chicken strips and they are all nice. The love potion mocktail I ordered was average.

It's probably not the food that will bring be back here but the concept and the overall experience. Recommended for folks with kids!
Alia Ibrahim
Used to eat hotdogs there as a kid while painting. It's kids-friendly and suitable for hosting parties that utilize kids' creativity. Other than that, I always suffer with the flies issue + quite frankly, the food is not that great, even though I like the fact that they serve all-day breakfasts. I would still go to paint, but to paint only (maybe have a drink or so).
Foodcriticdxb
Not so sure this place is a full out cafe i think its ceramique comes primarily and the food is secondary which is why it is average. The food is very commercial cafe style defrosted type of food but maybe its their safest option to accompany a business that serves two activities. As for the food it is very average. As for the ceramique activity it is ok but and very unique but it needs more attention to detail. Its hard to choose the colors and keep track. Also getting the ceramique pots later on is a hassle.

This place is a blessing for creative explorers. Good food, great ambience, lovely location and to top all an opportunity to unleash your creativity. I enjoy this place every time i come.. Great place to be with family or yourself.

Terrible... unless it's for painting and if you have kids...
very noisy, and the food is not that good..

The concept is good though and nice if it is quiet

One of my favorite places, Ive been coming here for over 3-4years, the art concept of this places keeps bringing back. Ive done several art projects here I love the whole concept of the place but if you're coming here just to eat you're wasting your time; over the years Ive had the worst service possible its a fluctuating problem though some days are good some days are bad, don't get me wrong the food is delicious & they only work when supervisors or the owners are around..you will get your order & it will taste good but don't count on how long it will take & whether or not you'll get anything else you need!!

A very nice place to spend time, me and my friends were there from 5 to 9 pm, we didn't even realize the time passing by as we were busy concentrating on doing the painting right, we only ordered the triple play as starters and then some coffee,
Only the service was a little slow but still ok, at least this place everyone is busy doing something creative rather than connecting to wifi and staring into their phones,

we all discussed and fought over which color to paint where and how it will look good.

this place is not only for kids, even for the grown ups it will be fun.
Geetha Subbu
Love this place simply to spend some quality time with my daughter or my friends.
Food is okay but the ceramic painting is the reason I love to go there.
Chaya Jacob
Nice place to be around.. Good food.. Usually been there for brunch.. Comfy, friendly staff.. Totally loved the idea of indulging in work, painting and having healthy food.. Will be going soon to get some colors on my hands...

Delicious food and Coffees, never disappointed and service is always brilliant. Staff are so attentive. Brilliant fun way to spend the afternoon with your little one or even on your own. Great place, I visit time and time again .
Great concept - 5/5. However, the pastas were far too creamy - heavy on the palate and overall pricey. The entire experience though deserves a 3.5 rating...

Celebrated my daughter's first birthday at their DFC branch. Again a great way to engage parents and kids with painting pottery while you grab a quick bite. They did vegetarian and non vegetarian platters serving for 10 people per platter. We chose mugs for the paint for all to serve as a return gift too. Their starter platter is awesome for some quick bite and chocolate fondant tastes superb.

Italian Restaurant in Jumeirah with a great balcony seating overlooking the sea. It offers both indoor and outdoor seating, though it's advisable to sit outside in winters (sea view and the breeze).

Cafe Ceramique offers a unique concept for kids where you can purchase unpainted ceramic shapes and then get your child to color them with paints. Then you leave the ceramic with the restaurant and collect it in a week's time to gift it back to your child as a souvenir (or as drawing room showpiece).

The menu is quite huge, so you can be sure to find something to your taste. The food tastes above average though, and they can definitely do better.

I would rate the place at 3.5 for the ambience, unique concept for kids and the menu variety. The average food taste gets a 0.5 discount.

Bill - AED 120 for 2 people. They offer 10% off on Good Living Cards.

Good service. Entertaining afternoon. All in all a good wholesome experience. If you want to spend quality time with your kids the best place to visit. Winter is better as the outdoor setting is very comfortable.

Had been there a couple of weeks back with my little angel ....its a very nice place located in one of the not so busy malls...we had a super time painting and the menu has something for everyone ....the combination of painting while eating or eating while painting is sure to put a smile on your face :)
The little one loved the place so much that we celebrated her bday yesterday at the cafe ....it has a nice party hall and the kids had loads of fun ....the staff ..specially Melanie ensured that the event was a big hit with the kids ....and the magic show was the cherry on the cake ...
I would recommend this place for the nice combi that the cafe offers ...

Food - good to very good
Variety - there is something for everyone

BUT I just made my last visit to Cafe Ceramique here in Dubai where they have gone from 3 outlets to 1 outlet. I found the answer as to why this happened. Having visited them last week and spent a reasonable amount of time and money on food + ceramics, thought it would be good to have a meal while I wait for them to find my 3 pieces. I informed the gentleman at the ceramic counter to send the pieces to my table while we (myself and my son) place an order. Little did I realise that no one would take an order for a good 20 minutes, despite several efforts to get one of the staff to even notice us ! I finally did, to see 2-3 very displeased faces.. no apology whatsoever, considering 2 sets of guests that came after us were attended to - apparently mine and my son's skin color didn't match up to theirs. This reinforced the slightly indifferent service that we received when we were there a week earlier.

With such discrimination, it sure is no surprise that they have reduced the number of outlets. So.. anyone that wants good food, reasonably priced, nice ambience, kids love the ceramic (so did I), but want to treated badly because you don't have the optimum skin tone, this is the place to go.

If a negative rating was possible, I would gladly give them a minus zillion.

Management of Cafe Ceramique - if you are listening or bothered, send your team to me. I will teach them the art of being human.. how race or color should be of absolutely no significance while serving your customers. Shame on Cafe Ceramique. Every time I see those ceramic figurines in my living room, I will remember the treatment meted out.

Great fun for the kids , can easily spend a few hours there. Staff not very efficient and service not too great.

The concept is actually very old and in Dubai this must be the first one of its kind. The name means just right, food and ceramics. The place is perfect for:
Kids Hangout, Birthday Party, Friends Hangout, First Date, Special Dates etc.
I don't think it would be fair to review the food as the art makes the experience perfect.
Everyone should try the place at least once in your lifetime to know how it feels to be with so many colors.

I just adore this place. Its a great way to vent out if ur stressed and a great way to chill as well. Having said that, the food is just outstanding. They have amazing burgers. The staff is vrry friendly and sweet. Highly recommended.

Should I talk about the food? Probably not. It's fine - it will get you fed, it won't appall you, and the menu is large enough so even fussy diners will find something tempting. The coffee is usually fairly average, rarely it can be quite good. Tea is probably a safer option.

So, why do you go?

You go for your kids (or the big kid inside you). You choose a pre-made ceramic from the shelf, and then you select your colours and go crazy. You might try and tell your four-year old that less is more, but all advice will be thrown out the window, and glaze will be slapped around willy-nilly until it covers every last bit of white, and probably the entire table and the 15 extra napkins you needed to ask for because you forgot to bring a smock. In two weeks, you can return to find a Burj al Arab money box painted so many colours of the rainbow that they all turned to mud. One for the crystal cabinet - very special.

Fantastic for birthday parties for ages 3-6. Incredibly good value, and comes complete with party room, lunch, games and decorations.
