Imperial Dragon can never disappoint you with their Calcutta Chinese food. The best chilly chicken dry, haka noodles and fried rice. I have been ordering food from them since 2008 and the taste remains the same, no change! Hands down to this place for keeping up with their quality and taste of food :-)
Our first try at this restaurant. Food was
outstanding. We ordered kung pao prawns which was amazing. Also ordered chicken sizzler. And fish in black pepper. And finally that fried ice cream which is a must try. Really delicious food. Quality is fantastic. In their starters their crispy veg and chicken lollypop are something to die for. Loved the experience and looking forward to try more of their dishes.
The food was delicious! The portion size could have been a bit better. The restaurant is budget friendly. Specially liked their hakka noodles. Some improvements could have been made to their Chinese chopsuey. Overall good experience!

I have always loved this restaurant, and I have visited their old branch near Bank Street as well. I have never got to dine in at their new branch, but we have picked up food once, and the other day we decided to order.
We live in Deira, but we called the owner, who is always around to make sure everything is running smoothly, and takes care of every single guest, and he promised us that he would be able to deliver. It wasn’t a very big order - only one portion each of chicken Szechuan noodles, chicken fried rice, chicken manchurian and gobi manchurian. In all it wasn’t more than 110 AED, and he still said delivery was no problem.
Soon, we got a call from him saying he was there! We were shocked, and we asked him why he himself came to deliver the food, and he said all his drivers were busy as it was a Thursday evening. A wonderful person who would go to such lengths to to ensure customer loyalty! I can say that I am definitely not ordering Calcutta Chinese food from any restaurant except Imperial Dragon again.
It goes without saying that the food was excellent, and the portions were very generous, as always. I wanted to post this review to highlight what a hardworking and dedicated person the owner is. Please support this restaurant, it is truly unique.
Loved the indo chinese cuisines served here. Our all time favourite is American chopsuey, chicken hakka noodle, ginger chicken and drums of heaven and spring rolls with vegetables. Rates are also pretty reasonable.

We have been searching for a good chicken manchurian for such a long time in Dubai! Finally our friends recommended Imperial Dragon, all I can say is wow wow wow! Fantastic food - manchurian chicken and chilli chicken.
So freaking amazing best Chinese restaurant ever.

A friend of mine suggested this restaurant, so I dragged him along with me, the distinctive whiff of Cantonese food made me feel I am in a good place even without eating a single grain.
Ratings & Comments:-
1. Hot & sour soup with chicken (4/5) - I don’t know how they make it and honestly I don’t care because it tastes amazing.
2. Prawn chips (4/5) - You can literally feel the crunch and the flavour of prawns with every bite.
3. Dumplings (4/5) - We ordered half steamed and half fried, it was amazing very juicy and full of flavour.
4. Gravy Noodles (4/5) - Noodles doesn’t get any better than this, absolutely spot on, bursting with flavours, full of veggies & chicken and that gravy is just wowwww.
5. Sichuan Fried Rice (3/5) - I am not a fan of rice, however, I liked this rice for a change because it is spicy and packed with flavour.
6. Crispy beef (4/5) - This was the superstar of our dinner, when they say crispy it is literally crispy, overdose is not always a bad thing especially when the overdose of flavours compliment each other outstandingly.
7. Chilli chicken (4/5) - Don’t go by the look of it because sometimes looks can be very deceiving and that’s exactly in the case of this chilli chicken, it is packed with chilli and lot of other good things, it is so lit that you might want to lick your chopstick.
8. Service (4/5) - Service is very quick and efficient.
If you are looking for Indian Chinese in Dubai, look no further. Been ordering from here since the time I can remember and food is consistent.

Great Value for money food with above standard taste and speedy delivery. One cannot ask for more when ordering a meal at home.
The Manchow Soup is delish and I had the whole serving by myself. The Cilli chicken is a must have. It is simply lip-smacking. My wife loved their Sichuan noodles and I liked their Hakka. It seems they use a slightly thinner noodle then other places and we appreciate the delicateness it adds to the dish.
I would think its best to stick their standard fare and not experiment too much from here. You cant go wrong.

VFM Chinese Fare well above the standards!! Matches to the Kolkata style chinese food.. Ask any person with connection to Kolkata and they can explain you the love for Kolkata style chinese food..
The good part is that their food is standard through the year, served piping hot, and the staff is helpful and remembers you.
There's a lot of variety across Chinese with generous portion size.
I would recommend the chilly chicken- very well done.

We are regular here. Mostly order the food. The veg fried rice and the chilli chicken is a super hit. Everyone wants to have it. The dumplings are really good. I would rate them to be 9/10 available in the locality. Mancurian chicken is awesome too. The chicken noodles and chicken soup is great to have as well. Can blindly recommend this restuarant

This is restaurant is one of my all time favourite for Indo-Chinese cravings... We went there this weekend the place was crowded so we had to wait for 15 mins..
We ordered Manchow Soup, Drums of Heaven (gravy), Chicken Sizzler, Schezwan Fried Rice... The starters were really delicious. However, chicken sizzler was jst chicken pieces with sauteed veggies while we expectd it would be a chicken sizzler plate with portion of rice/noodles... 5 stars to the Drums of Heaven #musttry
I have visited this restaurant couple of time and their food is really good so I recommended this place to my frnds nd we went to dine in.. however, the fried rice was a big let down, especially whn you have had a delicious and tasty dish during ur previous visits.. it was a disappointment.. no salt no taste.. whn askd the staff.. she tasted the rice on front of us and then took it bck after confirming.. the same rice was tossed with some salt nd served bck to us .. Disappointment No 2..
However, we ended on a good note trying their Fried Ice Cream which was the best seller and yes its worth trying...

Good simple Indo-Chinese food but a bit spicy. The chicken dishes could be cooked better; the taste of the spices was not well infused in the meat.

So i went for a family function last night and the food was ordered from IMPERIAL DRAGON, i didnt know they did catering services too. Tje food was LOVELY and Really Really Tasty. Real value for money. The service provided was great and food was delivered on time. I even heard tbat the owner personally called to check if everything was ok. Now that was a really good touch. Truly Amazing.
Ordered veg fried rice, Hakka noodles and chili chicken dry, dim sums and the food quality was fantastic! Quantity could be better and the food was delicious! Dim sums were satisfactory but I’m sure eating them hot in the restaurant would have had a better experience of this dish. Pricing is also similar to budget Chinese restaurants. I would have given a 4.5 points but they only have 4 & 5 options so going with 4! So don’t stop yourself from trying the Chinese from this place to take care of that rumbling in your tummy next time!!

Imperial Dragon offers Calcutta Chinese fare & is interesting. Tried the chicken tom yam soup & it was delicious. The Sichaun fried rice was quite okay but not spicy enough (we had requested extra spicy). The veg delight is really nice and a must try. Portions are quite decent and the ambiance is nice. Worth visiting again whenever you crave good chinese food.
Been here many times in the past and went back after a long break this year. It's a quiet tucked away place off Bank street in Bur Dubai. Typical Chinese food with an Indian touch, no wonder it's called Calcutta's Chinese food. Serves good size portions and we ordered Manchow soup, Hot n Sour soup, assorted Dimsums, fish in Manchurian sauce, Kung Pao chicken and Veg fried rice. Everything was lovely except the fish dish which had too much salt, so we advised the waitress about it. The owner Mr. Patrick is a very humble and friendly man and knows most of his regular guests, which I guess is the reason people keep coming back to this place. Quick and efficient service provided by the waitresses. 👍👏
One of the umpteen Indo-chinese restaurants in the vicinity. We happen to do a takeaway from here while we visited some friends. Here's what we had:

Those who are born & brought up in Calcutta have a very special craving for authentic Calcutta style Chinese food no matter in which part of the world they may stay. Imperial Dragon is one such special joint which serves some delicious Chinese dishes with a hint of the Calcutta touch. It is located at a convenient location in the lane opposite to Fathima Hypermarket just before Burjuman metro station.
We ordered the signature Drums of Heaven (choosing the spicy version is recommended), Manchow Soup, Fish in Black Pepper Sauce, and Chicken Fried Rice. Their portion size is good and ordering the above items would more than suffice for 2 persons.
Talking about ambiance, the place is tastefully decorated and is ideal for a peaceful family dinner. We would love to go back to the place again & again. Highly recommended!

Its quite spacious and has ample seating.

This a Chinese place quite tucked into bank street. It is pretty spacious and the ambience is comforting.
We ordered the combos-chicken combo and veggie combo.
The best part about the combo is that you can choose the sides, main course and the soup unlike the usual fixed menu that comes with Chinese combos.Also rice/noodles can be ordered half and half.

This is one of those hidden gem Chinese Restaurants that you always keep looking for in the maze of Chinese Restos in Dubai. This is Calcutta Chinese and it is great, that being said their portions are steadily declining. I have my steady constant at this place and have experimented with other dishes but wouldnt recommend. Go for the Imperial Special Fried Rice, excellent and not at all oily, then order the Chilli Chicken Dry, this is the best item on the menu in my opinion and finally, get the Chicken manchurian. This trio is excellent and consistently good from their restaurant. For those who are looking for a new place, try this one, you will be pleasantly surprised.
I absolutely love the food here. If u like Indian Chinese this is one of the few places in Dubai I would recommend to order from. I love the chicken drumsticks they actually have lots of Chicken on them and not overly coated with batter and skin. I also recommend the special friend rice, it's really flavouful. I am not a big fan of the crispy beef and would refrain from ordering it. They delivery quickly and the food is hot and fresh so enjoy.
Visited yesterday with friends and had ordered crispy prawns, chilly chicken, kung-pao chicken and chicken drumsticks and each of them were superb and reminded of authentic Kolkata Chinese. We will come back again for sure!

Hey Guys, I have been in Dubai for the last 8 months and this is one goto restaurant for me and my wife for comfort Chinese food.
The simple basic stuff is amazing in this restaurant and they have never failed in delivering the best. For home deliveries it is very effective as they deliver very quickly and neatly . favourite dishes is the fried rice and the chicken Kung Pao the sweet corn chicken and tom yum soups are amazing.
The only thing I can point a finger at is the dimsums and sui mais ..... they are not very consistent with the dish.

This is a place for real Kolkata style Chinese food. Ordered the drums of heaven which is a must try. The chicken momos and veg noodles with chicken Manchurian were also a delight. Nice location, good decor and friendly staff. Highly recommend for some one looking for Indian spicy Chinese food.

The server made sure I got gluten free food with no compromise in taste. Rice noodles and mix fried rice were yumm.
Chicken was melt in mouth.

I have been craving for soup and have tried n number of restaurants out here but none was able to satisfy my taste buds.
This one just made me visit them over and over again.
I am not a big fan of curries when it comes to Chinese food but the noodles and soups make me go weak in knees.
Hot and sour is highly recommended.
I visit them often for it.

Hakka noodles are one of the best
Chicken/ prawns or vegetable.
Fried rice is amazing too it's like a perfect blend of egg chicken and veggies.

Imperial Dragon is one of the older Desi-Chinese restaurants around. The restaurant has a very old school feel to it where it seems like you are back in the 90s as soon as you step foot in to the restaurant. Located in Mankhool, the restaurant is quite popular with the local desi community and is generally packed on the weekends.
We ordered Sliced Beef in Oyster Sauce, Mince Beef with Steamed Noodles and a side of Egg Fried Rice.
One thing that I found out of place is that you aren't served complimentary Prawn Crackers while you wait for your meal, as is the case in most similar restaurants. Unaware of this, we ended up ordering Prawn Crackers while we waited on our order.
The food is freshly prepared and can take some time. The food is on the spicier side so do take care when ordering. Everything tasted good and the portions served are easily good for two.
Nothing out of the ordinary but a restaurant surely worth a visit if you are in the area.

Honestly, I was searching a perfect DESI CHINESE Style and trust me this restaurant is the BEST option available. Awesome taste and you can actually understand the different flavours of all the ingredients used.

In BurDubai the Authentic Chinese food restaurant, the taste was tremendous and a very hygienic environment. The price was acceptable, complimentary chicken corn soup. The quantity was not enough as per Pakistani food intake mindset😆
