Food was delicious. Blend of Indian and Pakistani cuisine. Loved the taste. I think ordered kandhari naan, plan naan and paneer curry. Overall taste was good. But the kandhari naan is so big and we were like in awe of that such big naan. Hospitality can be improved. Thats why I rated 4 stars.
Had a hearty dinner with family of 7. Had the special platter which was more then enough for all of us. The kababs were soft and well made. The Afghani pulao rice was also fantastic. Would definitely be back!

The mix grill had prawn , fish tikka , chicken and mutton kebab, tikka , boti , ribs.
It was served with afghani rice , salad and arabic bread.
The taste was finger licking. Perfect blend of spices. Cooked to perfection .
It was not spicy , so my daughter was also able to enjoy the wholesome meal.
The taste 10/10.

Being in a mood to have some good Pakistani cuisine we headed to the newly opened Barbecue Delight located in Ibn Battuta mall which is one of the sleek mall in Dubai. Barbecue Delight deemed to be one happy and jolly place to be. Very colourful ambience just sets the mood the moment we enter the restaurant. The place is huge and seating can adjust groups of all types.
We ordered for fresh Watermelon and Orange juice which was very refreshing. We then started off with some mouthwatering starters. Mutton Seekh Kebab, Chicken Tikka, Paneer Tikka and Chicken boti kebabs. All the starters were tender to munch on and the flavour was very distinct with the perfect balance of spices, well marinated and tasted just incredible, my favourite being the Chicken Tikka. A must try.
Coming down to the Mains we tried were the Chicken Biryani and Brain Masala served with the famous tandoori rotis and kandhari naan. It was all really well made, aromatic & well-spiced dish. But the highlight was the Dal Makhani, very well prepared right consistency and fantastic to taste.
Kulfi for was heaven in the mouth dessert and Masala Chai was a perfect way to finish the scrumptious meal.
So treat yourself with these and many more delicacies which are being served in Barbecue Delight this summer. Without a doubt, I'm coming back soon!

I recently visited this restaurant, after looking at the menu I found the prices a bit higher but as I really wanted to have CHAI with some snacks so I ordered Qeema naan along with tea. When the order arrived the aroma was just superb and I must say totally worth the money 👌. The nan was quite fresh and filling and the tea was awesome 👌 like our desi teas. Highly recommended!

A delight for any Pakistani/Desi food lover, this restaurant serves not only has an array of delicious a la carte menu but you also have the option of choosing a budget-friendly Buffet option.
It's most popular for their Kebabs and with their recently launched street-food style menu items, I loved their Chaats as well.
I had their Pani Puri, Samosa Chaat and Papdi Chaat. Loved all the presentation and the chaats were both delicious with a rich yoghurt dressing.
The Pani Puri had a generous amount of Puris in one platter and we completely enjoyed popping them in!
Our mains were just as good, I really liked their Mutton Seekh and Fish Tikka as well as their Chicken Ginger curry and Raita along with their well-made Puri Paratha.
And let me not forget how amazing their desserts were, we had their Shahi Tukda and Pistachio Kulchi, so much better than what i had expected, loved every bit of it!

The naans were pretty soft and nice as well. Butter chicken portions were generous and creamy sauce blends well with naan, boneless chicken in butter chicken was well cooked and tender. We loved the Chicken Tikka – a must try!! Chicken were well cooked on charcoal grilled and its spices aroma tempted us to order one more plate.
Staff interaction with customer were not involved throughout the dining experience, they approached in taking orders on time, no recommendation from them to order from menu, hardly to find them in between when eating food to order another items, and they ensure at the end in asking for food feedback. Nice place to have Indian/ Pakistani food. Rates are reasonable ( as compared to their competitors next to them) plus Zomato gold works here. The last time I visited I tried mutton kadai along with regular repeat order of chicken biryani. The biryani that u get here is simple yet tastes better. In ibn mall u have lot of options for Indian food and this restaurant definitely gets on the list to give it a try. Just one info for Indian friends who had never been to a Pakistani restaurant, be ware of the size of portions they u get for naan, it’s not the regular Indian naan. So don’t order too many in advance

BD's special platter Half - It is loaded with Grilled Prawns, Fish Tikka, Mutton Ribs, Reshmi Kebab, Chicken Boti and several different types of Tikka like Afghani and Malai.
It also has a huge serving of Afghani Pulao and a huge naan for the grills.
The grills are delicious and soft and the platter can easily be shared by 3 people.
We also ordered Chicken Haleem which was super delicious. Loved it!
For drinks we ordered a fresh lime soda which was surprisingly green in color.
They serve the buffet at night only. Overall a great place with good food and service.

On Pakistan's Independence Day, we visited their branch in Ibn Battuta to celebrate my birthday too! Took my family along to enjoy some Pakistani cuisine and we loved it!

I loved the Fish Tikka as it was really soft, well marinated, not oily at all, and served with fries. This is a must try.
Main course:
- Afghani Pulav
- Mutton Karahi
- Wheat Naan
All of the above dishes worked well together. The mutton from the gravy was well cooked and soft. It went well with the rice as well as the naan. Best to have naan immediately as it tastes great when fresh.
Drinks & Dessert:
- Orange Juice
- Kheer
The juice was fresh with no additional water. Kheer was a cold version and very creamy.
Great service by the staff and had a wonderful time. Loved the ambiance. Can't wait to visit again!

Located at Ibn-Battuta; one of the most multi-cultural malls in Dubai, you’ll find a delicious Pakistani Restaurant called BBQ Delights.
My first impression of this restaurant was what a colorful place! The walls are painted with Truck Art (Art found on the Trucks of Pakistan), super dynamic bright colors starting from the very top of the ceiling all the way to the floor. The size of the restaurant is comfortable, spacious and welcoming. The seating arrangement is spacious as well, which gives the opportunity to cater to large groups of people in 1 table as well as tables for couples. Both in table and booth form.
The interior designer in me is impressed for sure, but what REALLY matters to me is the FOOD! What’s great here is that they don’t only have Pakistani food, but they also have Indian food and Afghani food. You would find a diverse menu which includes famous street food like Papri Chaat and Pani Puri (You MUST try the paani puri! So good!!) They also have delicious Aalo Tikki as well as SUPER DELICIOUS Lahori Fried Fish! I had heard that Lahori Fried Fish is a Pakistani favorite, and now I know why! The fish batter is perfectly spiced and then deep fried, the fish is crunchy, flavorful and fresh and tastes best when dipped in the chutneys. I would surely recommend the Lahori Fried Fish as a starter, trust me, you would not regret it!
The BBQ Menu (Charcoal Grill) is extensive and endless! But then again, BBQ delights is it’s name! So ofcorse, BBQ is what they’ll offer the most! I loved the Seekh Kabab with the Puri Paratha! That was such a mouthwatering experience! And the best way to have it and truly enjoy it the most is like this:
Step 1: Grab a piece of puri paratha
Step 2: Take a bite size portion of the Seekh Kabab with the Puri Paratha\
Step 3: Add in some khatti chutney and onion
Step 4: Put the whole thing in your mouth at once.
OMG you guys, it is seriously beyond delicious, especially when you follow those steps :P!! You can thank me by sending me flowers. But all kidding aside, the way all the flavors compliment each other is so good and I really consider it a must try! I’m drooling just thinking about it!
The next item you should definitely try on the Charcoal Grill menu has to be the Mutton Ribs. Perfectly tender juicy soft ribs that melt in your mouth. Another thing that I would recommend would be something I’ve never ever tried before, that would be the Chapli Kabab. I would describe it as a huge juicy, beef patty made with spices that were meant to marry each other. I’d give the Chapli Kabab a 100/10.
Speaking of recommendations, (or the opposite of, this this matter) let’s talk about something I did not like. Note: If you are not a Pakistani or an Indian or an Afghani, please try at your own risk. This “acquired” taste dish would be the Brain Masala. I’m not joking when I say Brain, I mean real Mutton Brain (yes, I did see saw you cringe). It tastes exactly as horrible as it sounds. Haha! It was definitely an experience though! Not one I’m willing to try again though. Nevertheless, for people who have had Brain before, and like it, it may be a good option. My friend who was with me at the time said it was tasty, especially when you eat it hot. We are no longer friends.
And although I ordered so many things, and actually came back many times, once with a group of 30 people (for a corporate lunch), the service always remained at an excellent level. All the servers were very friendly, food always came out in a timely matter, and the overall service was top notch!
And lastly, let’s talk about dessert. Although their desserts were not as good as their starters and mains, I really enjoyed their Kheer. It’s rich creamy and full of flavors. End your meal with some Kheer and Karak chai and you can take a bow afterwards. Because after an amazing meal like that, a standing ovation would be in order!

Always wanted to visit this places in Ibn Batatu after coming across their listing in zomato. Finally planned to visit this place and I must say it was worth the visit.
Their kababs and buryani are a must to have. The fried onions on top of biryani was ice on the cake.

Last night we turned to desi comfort food and drove all the way to Ibn Battuta Mall to try out the best of Pakistani food and grills at Barbecue Delights. A favorite among Desis for comfort Pakistani food, this restaurant flaunts a long history of serving up delicious desi fare across D-town. On the the very first in the UAE to start the trend of desi all-you-can-eat buffets, this has always been my go to place for grills and curries.
I was here at the newly opened branch at Ibn Batutta mall one afternoon and I must say I loved every bit of the experience. The interiors are colorful and vibrant, the service is great and the food is finger-licking good, now what more can one ask for.
We started our meal with a fresh watermelon juice and a lime juice with water. The watermelon juice was extremely fresh and great to beat the heat. You cant not have the mouth watering snack, the desi chaat when here. We had the Ragda Chaat and the Papdi Chaat and had to hold ourselves from indulging as we wanted to enjoy the grills and mains as well.
It was grill time and we thoroughly enjoyed the fresh and crispy Lahori Fish and chips, the oh so awesome Mutton Seekh Kabab, the tender Chicken Behari Kabab and the Lamb Chops - a meat lovers dream.
You know that feeling when youve eaten stomach full but your heart cannot resist saying yes to the karahis, you give in and continue the binging. Thats exactly what happened to us. We had the House Daal and the Chicken Karahi with the Kandhari Naan and the Roghani Naan. These naans are an essential part of the meal. The kandhari naan is the traditional long bread topped with sesame seeds and the Roghani Naan is again with sesame seeds and brushed with a lot of butter - true indulgence.
We ended the meal with a Chicken Biryani cos no one says no to biryani and finished it on a sweet note with the Gulab Jamun and Shahi Tukda coz theres always room for dessert.
I had heard a lot about this place and so finally headed with my friend for a dinner buffet. We also ordered some chaat to try first. Their pani puri and dahi batata puri are so soo good. The pani puri masala was just perfect and dahi batata puri was like a burst of freshness in the mouth. Best were their lamb kababs in the main course. We also had jaljira and pomegranate juice. It was the best dinner buffet iv ever had. Usually restaurants serving quantity compromise on the quality but that was not the case. Their sweets were also just too good.
The service is warm and welcoming. The servers are quick, prompt and very co-operative. I loved the interiors also. We had a memorable time at this place. A thumbs up and must visit!
Finally after hearing alot about this branch i visited today with family. It was a very very good experience though.

Been here a few times and highly recommended if you like grills, curries and flavourful rice! The Iftar buffet was just the right offering to sample the menu at a reasonable price and it exceeded my experience. With over 20 items available, i.e. from reshmi kebabs to prawn fry, butter chicken to afghani pulao, the offerings certainly brought joy to the palate. Truly a great experience, not only the vast variety being offered but the hospitality shown by the manager despite being a walk-in customer truly top the whole experience.

It was Holi & we definitely wanted a satisfying lunch.
Visited Barbecue Delights, Ibn batutta branch, with office colleagues. Though their buffet spreads are enormous but we preferred to have ala carte. Colorful interiors, desi vibes. For starters, we ordered chicken behari kebabs & mutton seekh kebabs. Behari kebabs are anyways an all time favorite & chefs here did justice to it. Perfect blend of flavors & spices, it was a delight to our hungry tummies. Mutton seekh kebabs were not extraordinary but good as well.
Coming to the main course, we had ginger chicken, mutton karahi, chicken biriyani & mutton biriyani. Ginger chicken was decent, more towards tangy taste. Mutton karahi was just the way it should be. Commendable is their biriyani. Being very particular & fussy about biriyani, I found it really delicious. Mutton pieces were tender & quantity was great too. Prices are little towards higher side but with zomato gold, it gets a lot reasonable. AED 310 for 10 people is not bad at all!
