I loved their assorted dips, which come with pita breads. Their chilly chicken is also delicious. Try the in- house wine because it'll go perfectly with the middle eastern food! Definitely a must-visit for a relaxed evening.

How does one even start talking about this place? This place is literally a hidden gem in Mankhool, Bur Dubai. I go here quite regularly to chill out, feel the cool breeze and have some good ol' house red wine.
I recently tasted their menu and have to say I was overwhelmed. If you want to go for quick bites check out their dips sampler, it comes with really good portion sized of 4 dips with pita bread, the saffron labneh dip is something so unreal, I have never tasted something so fab in my life!
Such a good place, I just really hope this place never gets overcrowded, it is perfect the way it is.

The only one concern was the chairs... they were super un-comfortable. we were not able to sit properly and i wish that the management will surely consider the reviews and change the style of chairs/sofa
If you want to go to an open restraunt in Bur Dubai Sun Downers is a highly recommended place. Open r3straunt, with good food, drinks & sheesha. We went there on a week day night had Corona with their delicious Chicken Tikka.. 😌

Sundowners makes for a lovely evening with their open terrace arrangment, refreshing drinks and great food.
We ordered Mai Tai for drinks and Gilafi snsn & Rataloo Tikka for starters.
First up, I didnt even know there's a dish by the name of Rataloo Tikka, but apparently it does, and Sundowners make it great.
And while i've had dozens of variations of seek kebab across the town, i was pleasantly surprised to realise that Sundowners made it the best. The meat is soft, tender and tends to melt in the mouth with the right blast of spices.
Highly recommeded for a date. Works well for casual group outings too.

A very chilled out place for a night out. It’s not too crowded or loud and it’s pretty huge. Loved the Mushroom malai tikka. The ladies who came for service were warm and pleasant.
I would definitely have given Sundowners a 5 star rating if not for its disappointing Sheehsa. The flavour we ordered was Pan-Kiwi and were let down by the what we got.

As the name suggests, this place is ideal for a sunset outing. It has great views of the city (much better than any other rooftops in the Bur Dubai/Mankhool neighborhood). I have tried most of the cocktails and they are great. The food and sheesha are a little overpriced but it is justified with the quality, music and ambience it offers. Parking is easy but the hotel lifts can sometimes test your patience.

This place is great to have sheesha in town. Staffs are polite. The place and ambience is good. The outdoor sitting is comfortable and great. Food is above average. A very much recommended place to enjoy evening or night.
My one of the favorite place to hangout with friends is this 😃. I can guarantee you all a good and polite service on behalf of this team😊. They are star in what they do. Sheesha was not that great though but I would still give it a five star for service and Ambiance. Sheesha can definitely be better since there are many other good sheesha places around there. But everyone should definitely give it it a try specially in afternoon time.

Its a great place to unwind after a day of work. They have great food superb shisha and reasonably priced drinks. They also have zomato gold for a better discount.
It's a lovely roof top (not on the top floor but in the open). Very spacious with seats spread across a wide area and beside the swimming pool. Serves shisha and alcohol. Good place to hang out with friends during winters. Since its in the open, kids are also allowed

Cozy ambience. Great place to hang out with friends and catch the sunset serenity. Friendly staff. Had the Cinderella drink which was great and the staff were kind enough to arrange a small dish made to order outside the menu.

Amazing food. The place seems to be quite good for night hangout with friends. Had buffalo chicken and many more but don’t remember the names of it but it was delicious mixture of sweet taste. One must visit this place it’s close to Al fidi metro station. Service is good with friendly staff. Great taste and with variety of starters. Had Heineken beer. keep it up guys.
Located at Majestic hotel , Sundowner is a great choice for a nice cozy evening outdoors. We went there on a thursday night and since the weather was still great...we loved being there..
the service was great..no complaints...we were seated immediately..and the staff was very welcoming and prompt...they serve good shisha as well....

Its small and cozy spot. Food and drinks menu is not very lavish but quality is good. We tried tandoori mushroom and seekh kebab both were good.

We went to sundowners to celebrate a friends birthday for drinks and sheesha. Also we ordered a few starters including chicken tikka, mushroom malai tikka, paneer tikka and mutton seekh. The food, sheesha and ambience were outstanding. Definitely a place you shouldn't miss in this amazing weather.

Sundowners is a beautiful place to have a chilled out night. Loved the ambiance and service. I went on a Saturday as it's their ladies night so got free shisha and 2 drinks. Absolutely loved their polite service and food. Overall experience was splendid and am definitely coming back

This is the place where I can chill and enjoy the weather environment of this place is so safe and nice no body will disturb you especially the staff they are so friendly and nice they will really takecare of you food and cocktails r nice over here I like the guy who’s name is Aakash he is like a friend he so caring I just love this place.

The ambience is amazing! Can get quiet chilly later in the night. The staffs were super nice and friendly. The food though could've been better. Do give it a try if u want a relaxed open air set up

It's a good and quite place to go with friends during sunsets. I've been their during the summers it's a little hot, but during the winters it's really nice. A must try is the stuffed mushrooms and chicken tikka. A great place to use zomato gold and the prices are quite reasonable. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. Sheesha was pretty average.
Tucked away from other loud cafes and lounges this hidden gem sets the mood for a calm and comfortable evening. Smooth jazz covers, friendly staff, delicious cocktails and decently good food all set in a beautiful outdoor seating arrangement by the pool. If you're looking for a mellow evening to just kick back and relax then Sundowners is definitely recommended.
They serve shisha as well but I'm not that big a fan.

very cool lounge restaurant neat and clean near by pool with comfortable lounge chairs. We had great food served by a very friendly staff. It has indoor and outdoor... outdoors is chilling and awesome and ya more thing if ur feeling cold becz of the breezy ask the Saul. 🙂

The prices are absolutely okay. Definitely a place worth visiting.
I would just like to say a huge thank you to the supervisor Samira and the Abbey who made our evening outstanding and did everything, plus more to ensure we were comfortable and happy in hour 3hours spent in the restaurant. .
It really did exceed expectations.. This was our first visit.. The place was warm cozy with perfect lighting to spend a winter evening.
Sheesha was done so well it lasted for all three hours.. We ordered mirch jheenga( crunchy perfectly done amazing presentation) , sushi salmon roll, sushi tuna roll ( loved them) and Pan sea bass. (only this one did not impress us enough)
Every thing was great. Zomato discounts and promotions made is a great evening with value for money. Alchohol was decent on price and ice tea was with zesty taste.

Place is perfect if you’d like to enjoy a quiet evening outdoors. Service is great and friendly! The only thing that was a bit of a disappointment were the cocktails. Long Island was served in a glass you would normally drink water in. 3 other cocktails that we tried were a bit watered down. I’d still come back for the regular drinks though!

It’s a poolside sitting, best to visit in Dubai winters. Nice ambiance and not crowded-a place to sit, relax and talk in peace.
Food is presented nicely. We ordered chicken highway tikka, mushroom malai tikka and paneer tikka.
Mushrooms were really amazing however paneer was very dry and crumbling when cut.
The service is on very slow side. Only 3 tables were occupied and it took around 15 mins to repeat the drinks order.

A beautiful place with a beautiful view, but.. PIGEON ALERT!
Was there with a couple of friends last week. We reached there 5ish and the place was quiet empty. People only started coming in a couple of hours later.
I would suggest experiencing the sunset here. They offer a fairly good amount of options on food and drinks. We had highway chicken tikka, paneer tikka and stuffed mushrooms. I would rate chicken and mushrooms a 4 on 5 and the paneer a 3 on 5.
Coming to the service, the staff was polite and friendly. We did feel that the service could have been better, since the time taken was way too much, specially with only 2-3 tables being occupied.
The first drink I got had bird poop on the side of the glass, which was a big let down!! Shockingly, it went unnoticed by the barman and the server both.
Although, the drink was changed upon informing them, such things should specially be taken care of, when you know you have pigeons roaming around the complete restaurant area.
Overall, a serene ambience, good food and a good view makes this place a must visit.
