What an original experience with tasty comfort food that hits the spot. Cool reggae vibes and unique decor with the perfect mood lighting to give a nice intimate feel. Great place to come with friends and share the goodness as plates are generous in portion and family style. Feels like you’ve left dubai and entered a cool urban underground spot with a friendly welcoming staff. 5 stars in my book ⭐️

الأضلاع القصيرة مدهشة ، والأسماك ممتازة أيضًا يجب زيارتها وتجربتها في دبي (التعليق الأصلي) The place is awesome with a unique design and experience not like any other in Dubai. The special burger that is not on the menu make sure to order it..its a 10/10 burger soooo yummy 😋 Short ribs are amazing, fish 🐟 taco 🌮 😋 are also excellent Its a must visit and try in Dubai

I had a phenomenal experience here - the food was wonderful, the service was fantastic, the music was great! My only feedback would be to turn up the AC 😅 and also I found the main course (special of the day - jerk seasoned salmon) oddly very expensive… but it was delicious! And their fried plantains were so tasty, we kept it around and had for dessert! Cocktails were great and love they they have a vegan menu!

This is one of Dubai’s hidden gems! The food is incredible, every dish is unique, tasty and original. The staff are friendly, helpful in choosing dishes and simply cool. You feel like you transported to Jamaica, with cool reggae and hiphop playing in the background. Be sure to come with at least 4 ppl so you can try as much dishes as possible.

Very nice atmosphere but not authentic in cuisine and taste...being Jamaican myself i am familiar with the flavours and the food was average it lacked that real authentic Jamaican taste. A traditional rum used in Jamaica is Wray and Nephew but that could only be found once on the cocktail menu and that was in Miss Lily's signature rum punch other than that Barbados national rum mount gay rum was featured throughout the drinks menu. I was very disappointed it's almost like someone took the idea of opening a Jamaican restaurant but has no Jamaican roots

I have been a couple of times in the evening and had a great time. However this will be first time I have had Brunch at Miss lilys and was really looking forward to nice Jamacian cuisine, Very Very bad. The menu is rubbish. We had a party of 20 people trying this restaurant for the first time and I was very excited for them to try. They were very very disappointed. I will never go to your Bruch I think it is a waste of money we're there are far to many places in Dubai for better value. I also asked if I could pay for extra food that was not on menu, as the jerk chicken wasn't cooked through properly and the answer was, we don't have that food ready at Brunch. Your Brunch is a rip off the portions are limited, small and just not good.

To whom it may concern( if it concerns) We have reserved few days ago a table at your bar/resto, we attended yesterday and ordered our drinks(1 bottle of wine and a few drinks) and we were not done yet, a very rude and unprofessional assistant manager approached our table asking us either we order food or he wants to move us elsewhere, his level of professionalism is not tolerated whatsoever. When we first reserved over the phone they didn't mention any minimum charge or policy for orders, Second why didn't the waiter informed us on the spot when we ordered our drinks . Third, when we refused to leave the table , he took the bottle to the bar where he wants us to stand. We rejected his behavior then he gave us the bill as if he s asking us to leave the place. While writing this I viewed the number of complaints and unprofessionalism that everyone experienced !! Your assistant manager needs to go back to school and learn how to speak to people. You are very lucky that Facebook gives your viewers the chance to rate you 1 star, if it wasn't the case I would rate you a ZERO. Shame on you.

I celebrated my bday party fews days ago, i had a blast , the staff were warming, Nice and the atmosphere was so good! I loved the vibe, the music and the food! Unfortunatly we passed by this evening, we wanted just to have a drink with some friends from Switzerland , we were super excited to make them discover that place but the hostess didn't let us go inside because it was full! She didn't let us to get a chance to go inside even for one drink! I CAN understand that you have some rules to respect but she could try to make an effort, she didn't seem to try to do something! I really love your place ,i do , i knew the nyc branch and maybe you CAN try to find some solution in this kind of case because it was really annoying as we came from far especially for a drink in your place ! It was a blow! Few days ago it was perfect and everyone was welcoming so far but the hostess not ! Thank you for your comprehension! Laura

Shocked to see some of these reviews and have to say my piece. Love this place! The food is authentic and delicious. The place has a chilled Jamaican vibe that turns into an awesome party atmosphere. The staff are super friendly and attentive. Those who like to dress comfortable and enjoy a mix of hip hop and Caribbean tunes will love it. It's exactly what Dubai needed. On weekend nights it gets busy at the door, but I've always made reservations, showed up at a reasonable time and been well taken care of. The place is really popular and I doubt they expected the current traffic. But you get a genuine feeling from the staff, that they are trying their best to accommodate everyone. Lily's has always given me an awesome and consistent experience. If you want to dance and have a good time any night of the week, this is the place to go!

I Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for Caribbean food and big hearty well seasoned meals and loud island music to accompany it . Perfect P.S I was there last week Thursday and hugged the DJ, he gave more life to everyone!!

In a nutshell, Miss Lilys went from the hottest place to be at to literally a nightmare. A) you WILL wait for a MINIMUM of 45 mins outside the door oh EVENNNN if you have a table just fyi B) super unorganized is an understatement, bookings are all over the place. C) doormen and bouncers are very rude and really do not understand how to make you feel welcomed and hospitality skills are just...lets keep it at that. D) and basically, if you don't know someone inside or a friend of a friend of a friend, that's it you don't enter. You gotta be exclusive or else you're unimportant, and you realize this when you've been waiting in line like a civilized person and people shove and push to get inside and the bouncer do nothing about it E) the best part is when you ask how long is when you ask so how long is this going to take? You get the response: "oh we donno it depends on who leaves and how many people leave". So obviously this takes me back to point B. Basically dear miss Lilys im pretty upset im writing this review because I loved the place and now I've never been so disappointed. Get some organizing skills in place and remember customer service is key, not just the food and music. Anyways I do hope things get better.

Food not great and place small but music was good and crowd not bad. I wouldn't go for food again. Why all Jamaican food in dubai not great.
Thibault Sztajer
Never experienced such a rude service in Dubai or anywhere else. Too bad cuz drink menu is interesting but will definetly not go back nor recommend this place to anyone.
Amr Abou Reslan
The guy at the door was very impolite. usually so called "door managers" should take care of the guests especially if they reserved 2 tables at the place. unfortunately, manners were never taught. Very disappointed!!
Azzy Pie
Positives: Food was great. Music was lit. MOST of the crowd cool. Dress code casual. Negatives: very small in general and the dance area has long tables in the middle where people can still reserve? That was really stupid sorry. Got extremely busy and not much space to move.

Horrible place horibble service the manager is so rude the staff on the entrance were as rude as the manager never coming back to this place and am making sure non of my frineds will to

Its a nightmare especially the door managers to be honest i feel sorry for myself,i have never been to a restaurant and being treated like a bagger ,This how the managers kills a restaurant with there rude door policies .Take my word people will stop coming there if this how you treat your customers

The worst customer service EVER! I was with VANESSA who just posted a review. <br/>I’ve never seen such unprofessionalism and disrespect from a place in my life. IT THE WORST PLACE TO EVER GO TO!! What a SHAME
Karimoueida
Horrible experience. Management was not only rude but aggressive also. A pub where the manager needed to be escorted by the pub’s own security because he wanted to hit a customer is unacceptable. This is the last time I will ever step foot in this place.
Vanessa
Probably the worst experience I’ve had at a club. The one star is for the music. I booked nearly a week in advance for a Saturday night and I made it clear I wanted 2 tables next to each other as we were going to be 9 people, the woman kept telling me it isn’t guaranteed that they will be next to each other (even though i’m literally reserving a week before... what’s the point of a reservation if it’s based on availability?). Anyways, to make sure we don’t get seated in the benches in the middle, I tried calling the place for 3 days... and was always put on hold for 30-40 minutes each time... seems like they don’t care to answer unless it’s a regular. We reached and the woman at the door was extremely rude when I was trying to tell her how I’ve been calling for the past few days... no apology whatsoever, just pure attitude. Of course, they seated us on the benches in the middle (the one place I didn’t want us to be seated in since our backs are towards each other and it’s very inconvenient). We asked them to move us to another area that was nearly empty. If the tables we got were based on availability (as they said), the booths that we requested to be moved to became full one hour later??? For a full hour there was no one...? So clearly there is priority to friends/regulars, not customers that book a week in advance and try calling nonstop. Towards the end we were ordering the bill and we were clearly overcharged. We politely spoke to the manager regarding the issue and he wouldn’t listen to us and kept saying it’s not his problem which led to a huge misunderstanding and argument between him and my friends. This led to the manager to scream in front of everyone “Pay your f***ing bill and get the f*** out!!”. Absolutely disgusting and appalling. I was the one to recommend this place to my friends who were here for a week on vacation. I have never been so disrespected and embarrassed. I have read reviews about the horrible customer service and didn’t think for a second I would experience it first hand as I have never had a problem with staff in my entire life. Last time I come to this place.

The staff was friendly, only point they took a while to bring menus and to take our order.<br/>The burger was amazing and the cocktails good aswell. <br/>I love the vibes of the place and the DJ

Worst customer service that I have encountered in Dubai by far. Very disrespectful & unprofessional for a container looking like place. I booked a table for 2 people & ran a bit late(was still in the normal 20 mins window) when I received a call from the place asking where I was. At the time of the call, I was arriving to the place outside the hotel main entrance & when I answered them that I was less than 5 mins away, the hostess on the call was disappointed!! I asked her why u sound so disappointed, seems u were planning to give the table away, she bluntly answered, "yes"! <br/>Had a friend who decided to join & once we reached, we informed them that we will have one additional guest(which is usually welcomed by all places in Dubai), we were received by a very rude hostess who was upset that we became a party of 3! It took her 15 mins to check if they can accommodate us & then came out to say that they can't! She was very disrespectful & lacks the basics of proper customer service. Avoid this place at all costs, they seem to think they are much better than any other restaurant in Dubai, when in reality they can't even manage a slight change in booking, which makes me only wonder how could they be properly managing their kitchen, and more importantly everyones' safety during these Covid-19 times. Even at the door, the place was packed with no signs of social distancing what so ever! Please take your money some where else where u can be treated with respect at the least!

One of the worst service I have ever experienced. Firstly, it was my birthday celebration and I had requested for a specific table area a week in advance. They informed me that they were not able to make reservations for that particular table but that they will try. Clearly they reserve areas for their “regulars” which is not right. I called the restaurant on the day of my birthday to check whether they were able to get the specific table I asked for and she informed that I would get a call back. I waited an hour and a half and received no call back so I called the restaurant up again and the same girl I spoke to was very rude and said “I’m still checking.” She then called me three hours later and iterated that “they will try to get the table but for now she couldn’t fully guarantee it.” Upon arriving at the restaurant, the female waiter ( had curly short hair and was relatively very young to even work there” and “manager” were very rude from the start. The female waiter approached me not even an hour into the celebration and informed me that there is a “minimum spend” for the table and that we needed to spend a certain amount. She had the audacity to get her phone out and calculate where we were at in terms of “amount.” I was fully shocked because it was first the beginning of the night and never has a restaurant done that. As the night progressed, I decided to ignore the whole incident of her calculating the bill not even an hour into the celebration. When it came time to order the cake, the female waiter refused to take the order since the “kitchen” was closed. She started to argue with my friend, when clearly this is a birthday celebration. Anyway, they bring the cake and don’t even cordially as a restaurant wish me a happy birthday and that is just horrendous service. Either the staff are just poorly trained or don’t have the adequate knowledge and class to work in hospitality. The best was saved for last, as the birthday host, they pull me aside and are like “are you aware that you are this much under your bill.” We can arrange to put the remaining balance as a “service charge.” So 1,200 AED is a service charge, do you all lack a proper brain? Clearly all staff lack proper education because they have no common sense. They begin arguing with me and the “manager” starts yelling at me. Honestly, after that experience I was shocked that a manager commits such actions. I will never celebrate my birthday in a place that hires workers that act like they are from the streets. Purely pathetic treatment and I hope they get fined or shut down soon.

We have been here many times over the past 4 years and every time we have had a bad experience has been because of the girl with the short hair at the front, she is rude, and inconsiderate. She makes me never want to come back. However Dezi (I might be spelling it wrong) is amazing and sweet and one of the reason we come back. The bartender is also a really nice guy and we really like him. We walk here and we love it, but it might be awhile before we come back after another shitty interaction with this girl at the front. Also the girl of 3 people was here before us and they haven’t said anything to them. So again, that front girl is a reason to avoid this place in general.

Came here for the burger and let me say it was the best burger i had ever!

I originally gave a 4 star review because I wasn’t feeling the DJ. The DJ, to me, got much better now so I’m happy with this place. 5 stars from me!

Very lovely venue at the Sheraton grand. We had our alumni meet there and ordered some very interesting food. The Sea bass was very good and I was impressed with the dessert selection. Infact took away the cheesecake home to eat for later. Thank you to Ian who looked after all of us.

Let's just say, I'm planning on going every weekend to Miss Lily's!<br/><br/>I was raised in American schools my whole life and for me, Miss Lily's brought back memories of my childhood and teenage years! The vibe of this place is indescribable! It's like a huge house party. I love the fact that it's not that big, like other clubs/bars. I love the fact they only play RnB, Hip hop and dance music. I love the fact that it's so diverse in its customers. I love the fact that it's situated in the Sheraton SZR (in the center of Dubai).<br/><br/>I dined there twice, once with a girlfriend and the other time with my husband. Both times, it was AMAZING! Their food is impeccable! I am a MAJOR foodie and i love to eat, so their dishes really made my tastebuds burst in flavor. Every dish that we tried was so good. At 10pm, things get so good. The DJ starts playing the old RnB songs, the people go crazy dancing, it gets so packed that you really just don't want to leave because you'll miss out. <br/><br/>Just go. Dine there. Stay til 10pm. Dance your heart out. And thank me! :D

One of the best spots in town. Very authentic and original Jamaican bar.<br/><br/>Extremely cool and friendly staff. If you you like reggae music, reggaeton, and hip-hop; then this is the place to check out in Dubai (especially on a Monday night!).<br/><br/>Make sure you book in advance because it’s a very small bar.<br/><br/>The food is insanely GOOD! Make sure you try to fish tacos and the sliders!!!<br/><br/>On Tuesdays they have a set menu, which is very good as well.

The party always end up at Miss Lily’s! I wish the place is bigger and the ceiling is higher cuz it gets so smokey and stuffy. Also, this makes it so difficult to secure a table especially during the weekend. I found the staff and reservation team very uptight, sth that doesn’t match the cool vibe there. The food is nice and worth the try
Ash
Hi I was there last Monday for ur evening brunch .i must say the food was horrible!im a regular at ur club and I have eaten dinner a lot of times at ur restraunt but have never been disappointed !miss Lilly is the nly club I practically go to!i wrote an email with my review and have got no response from u till now!

One of the coolest lil pubs in town. Their food was outstanding. We ordered about 4 sets of appetizers and everything was excellent. The music is cool and the drinks are unique and tasty

Love this place for a birthday celebration with friends. Have been here many times and always pleased with the food and music- service is a bit low but that’s expected with such a busy place! So I really don’t mind the wait for the great food and fantastic cocktails. A little on the pricy side but if you like Jamaican food and need your hook up, this is definitely the place with wonderfully friendly staff
Priya
Very welcoming and the team makes you feel very comfortable. Great music and amazing drinks. Although the jerk chicken did not live up to our expectation and we felt it lacked flavour but we were not disappointed with the rest of the order. Thank you for the great vibes and experience.

MAKE A BOOKING BEFORE YOU GO! otherwise you might get disappointed. Mondays and Wednesdays are FIRE! Shoutout to Steph and Ian and the WHOLE TEAM

One of my favorite restaurants ever, their food is soooo delicious, its Caribbean and the dishes are so flavorful<br/>We got the “Hot Pepper Shrimps”, “Salt Cod Fritters”, “Tamarind Glazed Lamb Ribs” and the “Fried Chicken Coco Buns” from the appetizers<br/><br/>As for the main course, we got the “Slow Roasted Pimento Short Rib” and the “West Indian Curry Prawns<br/><br/>⠀<br/>And we got the “Sweet Plantains” and the “Crispy Okra & Potato” as our sides<br/><br/>⠀<br/>The restaurant ambiance is more suitable for couples or a group of friends (not suitable for kids)

While it may have the most stringent and off-putting reservation policy I've ever come across, the ambiance, food and overall experience is worthy of the hassle.<br/><br/>As a vegetarian, my options at a jerk shack are not going to be plentiful but between the curried noodles and the crispy okra & potatoes, I was well-fed. When you pair it with a Red Stripe, it all goes down rather smoothly. The curried noodles were just perfect. I've been on a wok-noodle craze at the moment so this one was right on point. The less than soupy and thick consistency of the curry paired with the chopped red peppers and the slightly al-dente noodles was just the right amount of crunch. For my side, I choose the crispy okra and potatoes. They were finely diced and oh so crunchy too.<br/><br/>All in all, I'm definitely coming back here even if it does have the most ridiculous reservation policy in town.

If there’s ever a recommendation I can give my friends it’s always Miss lily’s. The place just never lets me down. Best food, best vibe, best music and best management and staff from top to bottom. Stephen the manager really know how to make the customer satisfied to the fullest. 7 days a week it’s the place to be for excellent food and ambience is full of fun energy!! I love Miss Lily’s

Definitely one of my favorite places to go in Dubai. The food, the vibe , and most importantly the staff make the atmosphere amazing!!! Love miss lillys 👌🏾👌🏾

Miss Lily is cozy and inviting and the moment you step in you are transported to another world . We tried their set menu at 199 . I assumed that we get to choose few dishes from it but they basically bring bit of everything on your table . It was quite a lot and absolutely delicious with sweet and spicy flavors . We arrived for our dinner on a Tuesday night around 9 and by the time we left we 11 the place was rocking with great music and crowd , it actually took us some time to find our way out . Service was a bit slow and some of the food arrived on our table cold towards the end I guess as they got busy but other that that absolutely had a great time . Will definitely visit again !
Kareem El-Nagdy
Great food and sicker beats on most nights of the week and all weekend. I personally love the fried okra, and who doesn’t love a good jerk chicken. Authentic Jamaican vibes-NYC style in the heart of Dubai - can get a bit crowded and smokey, reservations recommended at least a week in advance. It’s a def a place to keep going back to.
Charles Obienu
The food is fun and tastes great. Drinks are creative, well priced and superbly made. The vibe and aura is unmatched, cosmopolitan, effervescent and most importantly, no attitude. Highly recommend to visitors and locals alike. Everything is Irie!! 🌴🥥

As a Dubai resident, I consider this The ONLY place to go out in Dubai. If you want real character, awesome food, amazing ambiance and incredible music, THIS IS THE PLACE. Ms. Lily's make you feel like family, and those of us that go all share a love for good vibes and good music. Primarily hiphop/RnB the swag of this spot is on another level. Try the Burger, the coco buns and the signature cocktails and I guarantee you a good time.

Had a great time at miss Lily’s last night with my hubby. <br/>The food portions were big and price quality definitely worth it. <br/>Drinks were great and it’s all complemented by some awesome soul, rnb and oldies music ❤️ I love this place !

Amazing atmosphere, old school r&b music that really makes you reminisce your school days! Delicious food & one amazing team that ensure you leave having had a great night!<br/>

Miss Lily's is a restaurant out of the ordinary in Dubai, its a place where people visit to catch a different vibe. The music sounds just right and fills up every mood you feel towards the end of the night. Not to mention, the dinning experience is delightful because it feels like you're eating a fresh home cooked meal. Head there if you're trying to have a good time! <br/><br/>P.S. the guys that work there are cute.

The best place in Dubai. ****<br/>-Excellent food! <br/>-Best music!<br/>-Great Ambiance<br/>Been a regular customer since the start, and it only gets better!<br/>Would recommend this place any day of the week.<br/>Close your eyes and follow the Lily’s vibe.<br/><br/>

Very viby place , great music , food and amazing staff !<br/>I advice everyone to definitely try this place , it’s cozy but it’s amazing!<br/>Weekly costumer ❤️

So me and my two friends have been wanting to check out this place for two weeks now , so we finally got a chance to do so today , we arrived and the lady and the bouncer at the door made us wait 30 minutes standing at the door and let everyone in except us , and when our turn came they said only couples can enter and the third person which is me im not allowed cause i dont have a girl with me , so my friends can enter but not me , but 10 minutes before that , large groups of guys came and they let them in without asking if they have a reservation or no. It was so disrespectful , im a regular bar/club visitor and this never happened with me before. So me and my friends bounced off to another club.
Emile El Hayek
Last time I go there!<br/>We were invited for a birthday party and had a very bad experience overall.<br/>The food was not great, the service below average and we had a misunderstanding with the manager because we were overcharged. Not to say more: it’s the last time we go there.
Anil
Delicious food. Great staff. Cool decor. Worth every penny! A must try for anyone who loves to be wowed with flavors. We had the tamarind lamb, fish tacos & the hot pepper prawns ( starters). They were all really good. The lamb ribs were par excellence ( the best dish of the night) . The jerk chicken was alright and had a slightly spiced bbq flavor.
James Scott
Wow wow wow wow wow. What can I say. The food is to die for. The Jamaican flavours and feel to the place is the tops. The lamb shoulder and chicken is the best. Not to pricey for a few beers. But when the kitchen closes that's when the party starts. Dancing galore. Just so much fun. The staff are great. Top marks guys.
Vivek Jadaun
Let me start by saying that the food was excellent, and the service without flaw. I had the jerk chicken, the shrimp appetizer and many other items which I could not name or recall. Every bite was a reminder that the taste buds are the key to the soul. There was a dripping cheeseburger which rivaled any I have ever tasted.<br/>HOWEVER, at my age (let's just say - mature), I want dining out to be about the food and the company ... and not the statement that the restaurant wants to make.<br/>Yes, this is a Jamaican themed restaurant, but the loud reggae music made me never want to return. It is supposed to create an atmosphere; all it created for me was a pounding headache. The kitschy tables shaped like 45 records were amusing.<br/>I wish restaurants, ESPECIALLY those with a superior food product and excellent presentation would back down from the noise; it doesn't add anything to the meal. In fact, it takes a society already phone-obsessed, and removes any remaining opportunity for personal interaction.<br/>I would not return - BUT ONLY for that reason. If you don't mind 80 decibels of music drowning out any conversation - then this place is definitely for you.
Jad Abou Chalbak
One of my favorite places in Dubai<br/>Well worked concept-great vibes-Good food<br/>Music on Thursday and Friday nights is amazing!<br/>A must try for anyone who hasn't done so yet!<br/>Well Done to all involved for this success.
Ajey
It was a mixed experience at Miss Lily’s.<br/><br/>Food - We ordered Lamb ribs, Curry goat and jerk chicken. Also we ordered hot pepper shrimps but we were served Shishito peppers instead, when we informed the waitress that this isn’t what we ordered, her answer was “ oh I thought you ordered this only” and she didnt even try to get what we actually ordered. Now thats a big minus if you want to retain customers. Other than this the lamb ribs and the curry goat was amazing. Jerk chicken was not that great in terms of flavor. 3/5<br/><br/>Service - Other than the mix-up in the starters and how it was handled, I would say the staffs are friendly. 3.5/5<br/><br/>Price - Yes it is in a hotel so the prices will be high, but I still feel the food is over-priced. 3/5<br/><br/>Ambience - If there’s one reason that would take me back to this place, it would be the ambience and the music. Kudos to the team who did the fit-out and design. 5/5<br/><br/>Overall experience - I would think twice to go back again.

One of the best brunches I’ve had this year (and I go to a lot). The atmosphere at Miss Lily’s is fun and funky, with its Jamaican theme it’s got music in the food. The food was great and lots of things I’ve not tried before. By about 3pm the party vibe started to liven the place up. <br/><br/>All in all I enjoyed it very much, the food and service were great and I’d happily go back anytime. The price level is comfortable too.

When you want a night out with friends this is one of the places. The place is decorated to make you like home. I love that line of casual. The menu offers dishes that will make come back .The atmosphere is good and also the stuff. My choices -the fish tacos yammy and short ribs. Must try

Miss Lily’s is a Jamaican restaurant in Dubai. At first, we were very skeptical about paying that much for Jamaican cuisine considering we are from London, which has a massive Caribbean community therefore lots of cheap and tasty Jamaican food. Nonetheless, we were very satisfied by the range of options on the menu and how good it it all tasted. The lamb was very tender and succulent and the sides of prawn, sweet plantain and kale salad were served to perfection. The jerk chicken was a little disappointing and you could get a better option at Nando’s - and for cheaper!<br/><br/>The restaurant offers a bar, which plays a range of reggae, rnb and hip hop (if that’s your thing.) If it’s not, avoid going there too late because there will be a massive crowd there to party.
Nessie
A very upbeat Jamaican spot. They play some good beats. The place was packed and needs reservations. No show is chargeable. Ambience is good, but noisy.<br/><br/>We ordered the Roots and Cultures and tried the salt cod fritters and the tamarind glazed lamb ribs.<br/><br/>Portions are terribly tiny. The ribs were really good but the fritters were a disappointment.

Love the food, classy place but its a bit crowded. Well expansion is always doable. All the staffs are very friendly and nice. Its one of my must visit place.

Jamaican vibes combined with great soul food at Miss Lilly's was a lovely experience and we loved every bit of it. !!!<br/><br/>The special brunch menu started off with an assortment of starters -<br/>Jerk chicken wings - juicy hot wings done fried to perfection, and a dollop of homemade jerk sauce, this was really delicious, and the serving size was good enough to share between two.<br/>Hot pepper shrimp - another delicacy in the starters, which held it's own tastewise with jerk chicken, this was the right amount of hot and spicy, and the shrimp vanished from the plate in record speed. Highly recommended!<br/>Ackee hummus- this was fresh, and with traditional bread, was a good addition to offset the spice level of other starters.<br/>Callalo pholourie - fried veggie balls with a savory dip, and was a surprise to our non vegetarian tastebuds, showing that when done well, vegetarian dishes are awesome !<br/>Ackee and salt fish fried dumplings- the consistency of the bread was perfect, but the taste paled in comparison to the other really good starters.<br/>The tomato salad served along with the starters was fresh with crunchy veggies and generous amount of cheese<br/><br/>The mains we had ordered were -<br/>Jerk steak and eggs - this was a really good dish, with sides of plantain, steamed callaloo and potatoes. We would have preferred the steak a bit more juicy, but the dish as a whole is a win.<br/><br/>Jerk chicken whole - this was an extension of the chicken wings and unfortunately we were too full to to finish this and do complete justice. Recommended for a group of three or more to share with along other mains .<br/><br/>The drinks were Passion fruit and Hibiscus cocktails - we loved the passion fruit with its fresh juicy taste. There was an array of alcoholic beverages on offer as well !<br/><br/>The dessert was the highlight, with rum cake topped with iceream and surrounded by choco chip cookies, cheesecake and coconut iceream in dark chocolate covering, and we loved the rum cake with ice cream, as the cream oozing into the cake does well to enhance the flavor of the cake. From the sides the coconut icream was exceptional reminding us of bounty chocolate ( we are huge fans ), and the choco chip cookies which were perfectly done was great as well. Wish the cheesecakes were a bit less sour.<br/><br/>The service is very warm and friendly, and always served with a smile !!<br/><br/>The interiors are tastefully done, with a contemporary vibe, the sections are divided using beverage cartons, reflecting the Carribean spirit of making the best of anything and having a good time. The inner restaurant has tabletops which are enlarged vinyl records, and the walls are adorned with album covers of Jamaican singers/ reggae albums ranging all the way from 60's to the 80's. The entrance itself is fashioned out of a container door and Midway into the lunch, the space in front of the bar, converts to a dance floor with the DJ belting out tasteful classics redone with a Jamaican twist( kudos to the DJ, as we couldn't help ourselves from swinging to the reggae beat in our seats ). A very good way to dance into a Friday evening!!<br/><br/>TLDR : forget all your troubles , get into the restaurant for a brunch and a song and a dance, along with good drinks, and have a good time, the Jamaican way!<br/><br/>Visit date 24th August 2018

My friend recommended this place to me so I decided to go. Got there and was refused entry. It was 12:30am on a Wednesday. Asked why I wasn’t allowed and was ignored by staff and bouncers. Watch all the bouncers friends “high five” each other and enter. I guess it’s a place where entry is by bribes. Don’t bother. Total let down.

Sometimes you just fall in love with a restaurant the moment you walk in. Perhaps it’s because it makes you feel like you’ve been transported from the 45°C dustswamp of Dubai to the heart of Kingston, Jamaica. Or because it takes you back in time to the days when you lived in Washington Heights but spent all your time in the East Village. No natural light, no high ceilings or expansive spaces, no empty booths which will remain unfilled. Just the soothing beat of reggae tunes, effortlessly cool staff, cozy seating, and vibrant music-inspired decor that lights up the otherwise dark space.

After many attempts of entering here it was always fully booked. But finally, my friends decided to make a reservation and we enjoyed dinner there on an early Tuesday night. I must say! The staff was incredibly generous and graciously walked us through the menu. Our wonderful and kind server constantly checked on us and made sure that not a single thing on our table was less than perfect. Aside from the front of the house staff the managers as well are very incredibly kind. The general manager greeted us very kindly. <br/><br/>After our wonderful conversations with the staff and their friendliness we were greeted with a delicious array of the best Jamaican food we have had in dubai! The Jamaican beef patties made me feel like I was back in Jamaica on the beach with the deep feeling of nostalgia! But aside from that, the burger is without a doubt the best restaurant burger in Dubai which had myself and my friends surprised as it is unusually incredible for a Jamaican restaurant. <br/><br/>Unfortunately, we were too full for dessert but couldn’t have our night end without the great hospitality of their guest relations manager who made us feel like it was our home and gave us the confidence that we will always have a table. <br/><br/>Without a doubt my favorite dining experience in Dubai! Thank you miss Lilly’s for making my friends and family feel like home with only one visit! See you soon!

Had my birthday there this weekend and absolutely loved it! The food was amazing and the music was in another level! The jerk chicken was mouthwatering and the short ribs amazing. It’s quite cozy so gets a bit crowded later in the night, other than that I loved this place! Thanks Ian (manager) for the great night!

What about a container for your way in? This is how the venue greats its visitors. Inside decor? Couldn't be any simpler that you cannot gel but forget you are in a 5* hotel.<br/>If you can't stand reagge, dancehall or any sort of music with African influences, stay away.<br/><br/>Great break from your typical Dubai venues for those seeking a newer experience.

Was really ready to go try some Jamaican good & vibes, but my BLACK girls & I were not let in for being mistaken to be prostitutes by their racist doorman! #Racist <br/>Don’t think I’ll ever go back 💔

By far, one of the best places I’ve been to in Dubai. That Jamaican vibe, the super friendly staff, the awesome music, the cocktails and the food. A rare place in Dubai that actually delivers on great quality.

It was a good start to our weekend - vibrant place good food , music & courteous staff. <br/>I liked the funky decor however the place is a bit of a squeeze so do book your table to avoid disappointment.<br/>We just ordered four starters and skipped the mains .

Love. It.!!!<br/>Everything from the food, the vibe and the straff is on point. I like to visit this place once a week. If not for the oxtail stew with rice & peas, it’s equally great for a chilled night out with great tunes to vibe to while sipping a cold beer. Island feelz...big ups!

The Short rib and the Burger is OMG. Been meaning to come here for ages now. But more for the music. Didn’t realize the food was so good. Surprised with the average rating of the place on Zomato. If you like Caribbean music(not limited to this) and food then you got to make it down here. Awesome service and phenomenal food. I’ve been comparing burgers since I tried it there. Just the best service. You feel that island love. Also one to try is the Jerk chicken. Great place all around.<br/>

It is all about the Vibe! Food and cocktails were really good, but the service and music takes the cake. A lovely cozy setup at the dinner section, and a chilled out scene at the bar. Anniversary din din was a hit. Definitely getting back soon with a bigger group of friends. <br/>Thank you Miss Lily’s!

Yaassssss! Thursday nights are TURN-Up nights. You must RSVP to enter on Thursdays! The food is A-Maxing💯 Oxtails, Jerk Chicken, Jerk Corn on the cob, okra & potatoes, chicken & beef patties (ask for them they are not on the regular menu), and of course the peas and rice 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾! The music, the vibe, the service, the people, the authenticity of the cuisine was wonderful. Side note: the location is very small

My favorite spot in Dubai if you’re looking for a fun night out with good vibes and amazing music. Miss Lily’s always has the best DJs and the staff are super friendly. Brunch is dope; the white wine and red wine sangrias taste incredible! Good selection of food too, my favorite being the jerk fried corn, shishito peppers and jerk chicken. Try and book before you go...I’ve tried to go for a drink at the bar on a Thursday night and been turned away because it’s too busy. Miss Lily’s is a small space but the atmosphere is perfect. So much fun, would highly recommend!

The food and the waiting staff are both incredible (special shout out to Ian)! I’ve ordered almost all the starters off the menu and they all taste delicious. Make sure to try their new fried ice cream dessert from the Iftar menu! The music is also great - it’s especially difficult to find a place in Dubai that does dancehall/r&b/hip hop music AND has good food, but this place surpassed all my expectations. 11/10 would recommend going here!
In Search Of Brunch
Visited as a group of 4 on a busy Friday night. The space is quite small so it is challenging to get a table here<br/><br/>We ordered the following to share:<br/>Lamb Ribs- very tasty<br/><br/>Lamb Chops- tender and flavorful<br/><br/>Jerk Chicken- probably the crowd favorite<br/><br/>Oxtail Stew- was ok but I prefer Ting Irie’s version<br/><br/>Curry Prawns- this dish was a big disappointment. Should be removed from the menu<br/><br/>Plantains- delicious<br/><br/>Rice & Peas- ok but again I prefer Ting Irie’s version<br/><br/>Jerk Fries- nothing special<br/><br/> Over all the food is good, but people don’t really come here for the food.<br/><br/>It is popular for the music and the vibes.<br/><br/>Since it is difficult to walk in on weekends (due to small capacity) I would recommend visiting for late night snacks & drinks before heading over to the bar to dance.

Best Pastrami Sandwich in Dubai! ordered it for lunch at work, had to split into 2 halves or risk going into coma at work. Generously stuffed and layered with pastrami, slaw, and cheese as a great P'ami sandwich should be but never really is. Side order of fries which competed on par with the sandwich. <br/><br/>A little pricey but well worth it - chalked up to be my Thursday afternoon binge lunch!

After all the hype we decided to go to Miss Lily's for our wedding anniversary dinner. The decor and vibe was amazing, very cool and vibrant atmosphere. You certainly don't feel you're in Dubai. However the food was much to be desired for, I ordered the fish tacos and shrimps as appetisers - despite being described to us as their popular dishes, these lacked taste and were rather average. Hubby ordered the lamb, which he says was amazing so perhaps this was the only exception along with their corn which I have to say was delicious. <br/>The cocktails were ok.
Hangry In Dubai
Very interesting ambiance with good food and drinks. I enjoyed the side dishes a lot, like the corn and okra with potatoes. The shrimps were excellent too. The pumpkin cheesecake was to die for!<br/><br/>Service was exceptional and prices fair!
Simplysisters
The atmosphere was great especially if you are looking for a late night dinner, the dj is there for entertainment. The spacing is abit small in terms of how overcrowded the place gets. However the food definitely hit the spot, we tasted some true authentic jamaican cuisine and really enjoyed it. There are two rooms if you are looking for a much calmer vibe when eating rather than being in the center of all the action and closer to the bar. @misslily

Love the energy in this place and the food is on point! The jerk chicken roti and the curry goat stew is top. The meat quality is good and the quality is consistent hence always a good choice
Noodles
Food, dessert, vibe and music - it has it all! The servers are really cool and give great recommendations. We ordered several things on the menu and liked them all. The drinks were made to order and the night got better as the DJ continued to play great tunes.

The food I had was surprisingly good! I ordered a Jerk corn that was very flavourful, and a Jerk Chicken that was super tender and cooked to a point where the skin is almost melting in the mouth! Absolutely recommending this place!

I've been on Zomato for about 5 years now, and nothing has brought me to the point of posting reviews except for the famous Miss Lily's..Where do you even begin with this place. Long Story short... Made a reservation for a table of 10 for a birthday 15 days in ADVANCE, was rejected at the DOOR even though I had a confirmation AND an email from them, WITH 10 people with me at the door itself AND equal girl/guy ratio. The level of discrimination is simply MENTAL.... Not to mention the bouncer and hipster looking dude lying to your face and being smart when you ask to speak to the manager! Absolutely mind blowing. I showed them the email with the persons signature and NAME and she denied it point blank! LOL Imagine that. Their staff have a bit of a chip on their shoulder, why? well because they work at A DOOR...who knows. Been living in DXB for 30 years and never faced a place or people like this.. I've read the reviews of Miss Lily's constantly apologizing but literally not do anything to change things around... After mentioning to them that this is NOT cool on my wifes birthday and that I'd make a formal complaint I was met with the boy band outside giving me death stares..lol Get a grip.... Oh! not to mention them letting people in right in front of you post a 'bro' handshake or a hug for the girls.. Seriously, they will literally humiliate you at the door.. I have really good friends who are regulars there (for the music & Food) and are 'friends' with the people that work there... It's a shame that they have the same opinion of the place & people.....10/10 would not visit again, neither will those friends.... Mind Blowing...

The VIBE!! <br/>This place done justice to being a Jamaican restaurant..AMAZING!! <br/>The decor ..the set up..the staff..the food..the music!!! <br/>All in all if you had a rough day at work and want to get into an upbeat mood..this is the place to be. <br/>I did not like the cocktails too much but then I always say I am extremely picky about my cocktails. What I appreciated was the response to understand what I did not like about my drink and the resolution around it. <br/>I am not very good at clicking photos (which you can clearly see in the attached) but the food is juicy and especially the “jerk” spices be it on fries or chicken is a must try. <br/>Will surely return

They did not let us enter on friday evening aroubd 730. Even in the evenings its reservations only. Cant just end uo there. They said its been booked 2 weeks in advance 😂

Follow me on Instagram for my journey through food, travel & beyond.... @anisha8188<br/><br/>Miss Lily's has been the talk of the town for a while. Previous failed reservation attempts had delayed me visiting here yet. Finally last week on a Wednesday, managed to get a dinner reservation for 9pm for 2 adults.<br/><br/>Being an avid Zomato follower, and religiously reading reviews about a place before visiting; one thing was for sure - don't be a walk in at Miss Lily's. Had also read a lot of the negative comments about the staff - but went with an open mind to be a judge for myself. And if you do happen to reserve in advance, Miss Lilys sends you an email with a DETAILED policy about their dining times, no. of people, etc. There are no surprises.<br/><br/>Coming to my experience - I've no complaints really. The place is lovely - the decor, ambiance, music, staff, food & drinks. The service staff are knowledgeable on the menu, and make some good recommendations.<br/><br/>We tried a variety of things - Jerk Corn, Hot Pepper Shrimp, Tamarind Glazed Lamb Ribs and some sort of Chicken Patty (which wasn't on the menu); and for dessert Dark Chocolate Cremeux (HIGHLY Recommended! We LOVED it!). For main we did get the Jerk Grilled Chicken - and whilst it was cooked well, it didn't really make cut for me. I just expected it to have a lot more flavour like the other food we tried.<br/><br/>Just 1 thing however, I personally do not like how close the tables are to each other in the dining area. Lucky for us, by the time guests were seated at the table next to us, we were almost done with our meal.<br/><br/>Prices might be a little steep, but good for an occasion. We paid about AED 600+; but we did eat a lot, plus 2 drinks per person.<br/><br/>Overall it's a nice place, if you manage to get in without any complaints. My suggestion, try to reserve in advance - larger the group, earlier the better :)

So so SAD! How can a venue serve amazing food, great music and ruin it all by hiring rude staff members and unfriendly hostesses at the door! My God this place is beyond disappointing! Getting into the White House requires less effort! Worth it once you pass security check if you’re lucky 😉
Natalie K Habib
Well first thing first its really unfortunate when a place actually has good music, good food, and great serving staff gets ruined by the hosts standing outside with really rude and sour faced attitude! Those 2 boys one with a hat on and the other with white shirt and red sneakers standing outside and the guy in the red sneakers claimed to be the manager but are regular hosts, they are really horrible and obviously need better training in their work field because their customer service approach is degrading. We had a reservation and we ordered dinner and drinks and we had to leave before getting to finish our dinner because they did not let our friend in because “over capacity” yet he literally let in 15 other girls cause the less you dress the higher your chances. I asked him why can they go on and not our frnd which was one girl and he said cause they have reservation and rolled his eyes and i literally followed the girls and saw them standing by the bar! Miss Lily’s already has a bad reputation yet we wanted to see if it was true or not, and i was not disappointed but really its really sad that the reputation is ruined because of 2 untrained kids with personality complex, more over since they claim to be f&b “leaders” then let them act on it and not a concierge. Let him be put in his place because his salary comes off what the customers paying not the girls going in for show.
Mariam Adel Ghanem
The less clothes you wear the higher chances of getting in 😊 forget about being a respectful decent lady as this place encourages more skin and less clothes🤭. I had a splendid time at the opera house and wanted to join my friends who had a table at Miss Lily’s. As soon as I stepped out from the elevator the crowd was <br/>overwhelming. I have spoken to the “KID” with the white hat at the entrance who claims that the place is overpacked even though he was continually letting in his girl friends and “SPECIFIC” ladies inside but didn’t want to let me in. I thank god that I started my yoga journey or else I would be wayyy more angry at this situation. Anyways my friends endlessly tried to let me in but I guess I am not his type 😂. The worst part is that they had to pay and leave without finishing their food and drinks and the one in charge threatened to call the police if they didn’t pay the bill 😑. Long story short. I urge all women not to go to places like this. No one has the right to strip us out of our modesty. We come in all shapes and sizes and we are beautiful ❤️❤️.

Abrupt and dismissive behavior of 2 Gentlemen at the door still has me in complete shock. I travel to 3 major cities each month (US, UK, Eurozone), often with clients for business and have never ever seen this. They just said "Club full go away" and refused the 2 of us entry (a Couple - business casual attire), yet whilst standing there, the 2 Gentlemen at door let in approximately 7+ single WFs coming straight off the elevator?........Smacks of profiling, very disappointing.
Ankita Sood
In my entire time in Dubai I have never ever been to a place where the staff is so rude. It’s like they are doing you a favour by giving you entry. We were there on a wed at 9 when google was clearly showing it wasn’t busy but since we didn’t have a reservation these guys just refused to let us in or maybe they didn’t like our nationality ! That’s the feeling I got. This is sick place to say the least. I am sure there drinks are great and the place is superb but it has trashy customer service and just doesn’t deserve to be part of our multi ethnic dubai culture. Go to hell Miss Lily, Miss Wang and Miss Tess welcome us with open arms and we will give them our money and time. You are not the only Miss out there and frankly don’t deserve our business. Hoping you fail. All the best !!<br/>Saw a few other reviews on Zomato with a similar experience so thought I’d add in my two bits too.
Melanie Varghese
Nice cosy place to hangout with your girl friends. They have such nice vibes with Jamaican songs played all day long. <br/><br/>Our order for the day was ,<br/><br/>1. Jerk corn - 2.5/5<br/>2. Fish tacos -4/5<br/>3. Hot pepper shrimp-3.5/5<br/>4. Grilled jerk chicken -3.5/5<br/>5. Okra and potato fries -4/5<br/>6. Homemade coconut cake -3.5/5<br/><br/>Overall we enjoyed the eve at miss Lilly’s with some nice refreshing moments we had at the place.
Amal Hersi
Overall experience, was good! I have been to Ms Lily’s in NYC before so my expectations were about the same. The food was very bland to our surprise. I can’t say we enjoyed anything we ordered. But what was great was the service, the music, and the general vibes. A great place to lounge, not so great for food!
Shaz
Miss Lily's I really dont get what the hype is all about after finally trying it out this week on a Thursday night. At the door you are greeted not even with a hello but an expectation of just saying your reservation name. Its like an attack. You go there for the music, food, the vibe and of course being treated with good service. Lets say the only thing good about our experience there was the music. Food option is very limited and not many options for vegetarians either. Lots of drink option. Lets talk about the service. The waitress was nice at first and recommended what we should eat when she knew it was our first time, but later as she checked to see what we think and how everything was,as soon as, we gave her our opinion and my friend mentioned she didn't like that one particular dish the waitress mocked her by imitating her. Very unprofessional and rude! Second thing was during reservation they didn't ask or inform about the table being in a non smoking area. Well that can be also our mistake for not asking, but then again as we were there it was impossible to change our table. anyways it wasn't a great experience and we ended our night by leaving earlier and not even ordering more food or drinks.
Amr Abou Reslan
The guy at the door was very impolite. usually so called "door managers" should take care of the guests especially if they reserved 2 tables at the place. unfortunately, manners were never taught.
Vandita Jain
lovely place for an evening out with friends, superb music and the setting and decor a refreshing change for dubai. the vegetarian selection is limited on the menu but enjoyed all the dishes. the cocktails were great too. good service but definitely bit over priced.
Oliv.bird
Had the man at the entrance last night with hat and scarf been less arrogant, we would have returned to your establishment today with our out of town guests. We asked if the business was still serving dinner, understanding that this might be a stretch since it was late, and were met with a "obviously not, what planet are you from" attitude & "you're not on the guest list anyways" comment. We've been to this location and the NYC location multiple times- please don't treat us like lesser humans for daring to ask.
Diana Montie
We've always had an epic moment with friends. This is a must visit joint if you'd want to visualize the Caribbean ambience in Dubai. Place small though so congestion is highly likely.
Doha Al-Hussien
Very bad service and very rude waitresses, we called to ask if we needed reservation or not they told us we didn’t need to reserve and we could just walk in, when we got there they told us there are no available tables and we needed to reserve even though the place was 80% empty, when they finally decided to give us a table they told us we will be moved by the time someone else comes very rudely, I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone, very bad and disrespectful attitude.
Barkha Mehta
Went there for a Friday brunch and it was completely not worth the spend. A small table for a group of 10 even after pre-booking days in advance. Just one small portion of starter to go with the drinks and one main. They didn’t serve the desserts until we asked for it and there was no mention of it on the menu at all! Only the first drink served to us Looked good and the ones that followed were quite different. ( the glasses changed, they didn’t add the fruits, mint to it). Had to give a few reminders for the drinks as well. Just good music and thats it!

Being a Jamaican and having tried a lot of Jamaican food, to be honest, their food wasn't up to the mark.  Need to improve on the flavour. What stands out is the cocktails, ambience and Vibe of the restaurant.<br/><br/>If you want to go clubbing or just to chill out with friends, this is the perfect place. If you want to try authentic Jamaican cuisine, then you need to check elsewhere

My friends and I were only looking to have an enjoyable night, but Miss Lily's made sure that never happened. The following story will explain how much disappointment my friends and I faced, and how much trauma we were put through in the span of a few days, in addition to how much time of our lives wasted that we will never get back - thanks to Miss Lily's. The first time I called, I was informed that the place is fully booked but that we would be put on the waiting list in case a cancellation came up. This was 2 days ago. Yesterday I received a call from Miss Lily's reservation team informing me our booking is confirmed for 9 pm - and followed it up with an email listing the dress code requirements among other things. We felt the place might be a tad strict due to this email, so we decided to arrive there 15 minutes ahead of time to avoid any issues. When we reached there, the lady at reception argued with us that our booking was for 9:30 om and not 9 pm. We thought we were actually early, but there we were, being argued with at the door and receiving an enormous amount of attitude from that staff member. Perhaps she was having a bad day, we thought, so we decided to wait until 9:30. When the clock struck 9:30 there was no one there to assist us, and we were not seated at any table! We waited until 9:50 pm and then we just decided to leave as this was a colossal waste of our time. Some of us had work in the morning, and another friend had an early flight to catch. I would like to ask everyone here, is it a standard thing for Miss Lily’s to discard any respect for people’s times? I would also like Miss Lily's management to address this and let me know how my friends and I can get the time we lost back, given the series of incompetence we endured with their staff? Thank you<br/><br/>Ahmed Taha <br/>0557742655<br/>Taha.ahmed111@yahoo.com

Good food, good vibes, friendly staff and great music.<br/><br/>Order the Lamb shoulder, jerk corn and potato and okra. Thank me later.<br/><br/>The guys on the door are great - they do a good job of controlling the crowd demographic. The place is small/ quite intimate so it's pretty essential to have tough door standards. <br/><br/>As a woman it makes me more comfortable, because when it comes to nightlife this is the only venue in Dubai that I have never experienced a sleezy guy trying to grind on me without me knowing he is even standing there.<br/><br/>The only thing I would say I'm not a fan of here is the smoke/ ventilation. If you are sensitive to it, you should probably only go here for dinner early because it gets pretty lit later on.<br/><br/>

Went here for the friday "brunch" !!! Such a joke on the word!! You jus get to choose 1 appatizer and 1 main! The drinks menu for the brunch is soo limited and highly diluted! Its a complete rip off for the amount v paid! They also make u give ur credit card details to block a table for a big group... v were a group of 12 and they gave us a table where only 8 people could sit😲 <br/>The food is nothing to rave about and the place is really small! Some of the waiters r jus down right snooty!<br/>The only upside to this place is that the music is nice! And some of the waiters r really sweet.<br/>Will i go back to the place... NO!!! For that same amount my friends and i cud have had a huge meal elsewhere!!!!

Friday brunch absolutely not worth the money. We got a small table even though we had booked in advance for a large group of 11. drinks took forever to be served. Poor service over all.one appetizer and one main for 400!!! The only plus was the music. Would not recommend this place

In summary, the restaurant leaves much to be desired; generally not worth the expense, time or calories. I was rather underwhelmed by the decor, service and quality of food--although the ambiance in the bar did have a certain attractive buzz, provided you could tolerate the 2 meter high ceilings and lack of ventilation that so efficiently insulate the cigarette smoke. <br/><br/>The server was given carte blanche to order appetisers and main courses--presumably, this was the best the house had to offer. The salt cod fritters were rather tasteless...and without cod. Similarly, I could scarcely find the grilled the chicken in the jerk chicken roti. The remaining appetisers were fair and of unremarkable quality. Constructive criticism was met with defiant defence and indignation by our server. Perhaps that explains the 45 minute delay in producing the main courses?<br/><br/>The pan roasted seabass and Caribbean jerk chicken were fair but lacked the spice one would expect from an ethnic restaurant. The slow pimento short rib was clearly the one-eyed-man-cum king in this land of the blind... but at AED 320, it well ought to be.

Had brunch here yesterday, staff are great, and the restaurant has a Caribbean style beach shack look, serving some good food. Good music, giving a party atmosphere. <br/>Little stumped by the price, at 390AED it's high for what it is, giving that there are many alternatives.<br/>Reduce the price to 250/299 is a better fit.<br/>This aside, Miss Lilly's is a great place, run well and had a good time.
AB
This restaurant rather a cafe is extremely one over hyped  place, I am not sure how they can get away with such poor standards of food, poor ambiance, limited choice of food, over priced, claustrophobic environment, poor service...miserably fails in all departments. A group of us went for a Friday brunch and I ended up eating my food on my lap with the waitress just watching on. A major EMBARRASSMENT as this place is inside a 5 star hotel and the standards are of 1 star. SAVE YOUR TIME & MONEY.
Fabrice Kabongo
The vibe will transport you. It's just so beautiful, colorful and vibrant. The music is great, you get Caribbean music, african, hip hop and a lot of mix and remixes.<br/><br/>It's a place to check out. You must go there.
Lionel Pinto
This place has attitude issues. Heartless management who didn't let me in for a friend's birthday even though we requested, simply because I was wearing shorts n sneakers. I got myself into 5 other clubs around the same area that same night wearing the same attire. Never coming back again even if I'm suited up. I don't find it necessary to not let someone enter if they are wearing shorts in the summer amongst a group of 15 people. Also this so called 'Rule' is not mentioned anywhere. So hope this review saves a few people from going thru a similar experience.
