If you go for your grocery at Spinneys in Al Safa, Umm Al Sheif St., you'll not miss this outlet of Indian Pavilion located inside opposite the Early Learning Center.
They have decent enough seating space and the decor is classic. I was craving mutton, so I ordered the Mutton Biryani. The portion was huge enough for one person. It was actually enough for two. The mutton was cooked well and succulent. The cucumber 🥒 raita that came with it was good as well. The service was pretty decent and prompt.
I would surely recommend this place for dining in and for ordering as well. I'm going to try other things soon.
This place never disappoints! The food is delicious, the staff are friendly and the prices are good! Definitely my go to place when I’m craving some Indian food :)
The presentation of masala dosa was innovative! The sambar was good too but the white chutney was bland. We had rasmalai too but felt like the piece was just put in fresh milk . Ambience is nice.
The delivery was pretty fast. I prefer masala I tried in other places. The service is very nice
Thr food was great and delivery was right on time! Will definitely be ordering again soon!
Indian pavilion is really a pavillion for indians, nice indian taste food they offer
Commendable staff and service
Easy to locate
Best placd for Indians to visit
👍👍👍😘😘🥰🥰
I have just visited the Indian pavillion inside the safa shopping complex next to Spinney's. After a long day at the salon I wanted something of substance and a meal to tantaluse my tastebuds.
The food was preoared promptly. The service was great servers were attentive but not intrusive. This is a plus for me. I ordered a chicken curry with a side of a peshwari naan bread. This was presented beautifully. A free side of poppadoms was presented before the main course arrived.
The chef popped out of the kitchen and I was able to thank the chef. He beamed a huge smile and thanked me.
Even though in a regular location the restaurant has a great vibe and you can shut out the distraction of those walking past the restaurant.
I give this restaurant a great thumbs up to lovely food, good service and peaceful ambience. Great job
We had come here for lunch. This place is located in a quiet corner of the Spinneys building shopping complex in al Safa with ample parking space and is easily accessible from Shk Zayed Rd.
The interior is aesthetically admirable with superb lighting and overall rich and classy look.
The restaurant serves a wide range of Indian cuisine consisting of regional and traditional dishes from the North to the South of India.
We started with the Mango lassi and Aam Panna for drinks. The Aam Panna stole the show with its refreshing mint cooling and homemade taste.
For starters, we ordered the samosa Imli chaat and chicken tikka Delhi style which is an upbeat Mughlai dish. You can’t miss having this when you are here. The chicken tikkas were tender and cooked with the perfect masala blend. It went really well with the green chutney serving.
For the main course, we ordered the Chicken Kadhai and had it with cheese kulcha and vegetable pilaf. The cheese kulcha was very delicious and savoury just like the chicken kadhai. We tried it with the pilaf prepared with green peas and veggies.
For our sweet tooth, we ordered the Gajar ka halva. You must try this as it was really rich in taste and flavour and gave us the much deserved lip-smacking ending.
We rate this restaurant in terms of:
Good quality food 4/5
Ambience 5/5
Service and overall staff friendliness : 5/5
Indian food from different regions in India. The food is delicious and well balanced with the spice level not too high. The masala dosa is well presented and delicious, the fried chicken strips with curry leaves are a must try! Butter chicken is also recommended if you like that sweet tasting curry. Mango lassi and mocktails are refreshing and yummy. The ambiance is modern and clean located in the small shopping mall with Spinneys in Jumeira. If you want a great selection of Indian food that actually reminds me of Indian food in the UK, this place is worth a visit!
The biriyani is very interesting. It is served piping hot in the clay pot. The rice feels very light and melt in the mouth. The flavours are very delicate. Kebabs are good too. Sides served are traditional and chutneys, raita are authentic. Loved it.
Ambience ; very good environment. good music was playing throughout. must visit
service was good....amazing presentation..tasty food..we enjoyed with friends
One of the best Indian restaurants in Dubai that we always order a takeaway from. I know that the Chinese version of this restaurant “Chinese pavilion” is also owned by the same owner, who is my uncle, but I hope that one day it will be as good as the indian pavilion that never fails impressing us with its delicious food
Fantastic delivery and great food!
Very very good and delivered earlier than stated
I am a fan of this place as they serve my favorite Indian dish - Bhindi (okra)

Been eating here since 2008. Food is always as expected. This is as far as I know the only place in town that serves Chicken Bezule. A must try Indian dish
Indian Pavilion has always been my FAVORITE restaurant - it has been a perfect dining experience for me in the past - exquisite food that I could never even try to duplicate at home, a stunning restaurant and excellent service.
Set in the 'quieter' food court in mall of the emirates, we liked the seating and ambience! The menu is wonderfully easy to navigate and the prices are pocket-friendly.
We tried and enjoyed the Saag Paneer. (Cottage cheese in tomato, spinach, butter cream gravy served with fresh ingredients salad, flavored rice and tomato sauce) a really well-rounded meal.. we wouldn't have minded some more kick through the spices❤🤸🏼♀️
Really great food this visit, staff were friendly and willing to change up a dish that wasn't on the menu.. thank you for that! It was delicious! We had the dal tadka, aloo tikka masala (replaced paneer with potatoes), rice, garlic naan, and raita.. we didn't wait long for the food, great experience overall..
The masala dosa and onion bhaji are my favorites. 👍🏻.
Simple Indian food with decent menu options. The food ordered wasn't much filling and heavy ( I liked this part). Ordered here was Dhansak, Vegetable Biriyani and Tandoori Roti.
Dhansak being a Parsi dish was average not authentic. The Biriyani was quite delicious and flavorful. Not a restaurant which I would definitely stop by if I am passing BUT a place where I can dine without complains if needed.
Someone introduced me to this place saying that they have the best paneer makhni, so thought of giving it a try and I must say that person was right!!! Had even ordered bhindi masala (my 2nd favourite) and that too was outstanding. When ever im around that area, I make sure to visit this place.
This place is close to my house in Umm Sequim, beyond the convenience i don't see anything spectacular about the outlet. The food is your average mughlai fare with the added speciality dishes. Since the outlet is empty most of the time, the service is attentive. One thing to try is their Malabar Chicken Curry, it was delicious. The Butter Chicken was standard.
Went back again after sometime and have to say the food today was exceptional, absolutely yummy!
Its been sometime since we ordered from The Indian Pavilion, so gave them a call this evening, new menu, looked like some price increases but more choice.
Food arrived on time, which it should as only 5 minutes away, was nicely presented and included a couple of complimentary poppadoms and pickles.
So far so good, couldnt help but notice the new packaging, including the Prawn Malay in a container that I estimated as being 40-50% smaller than I remember, that disappointed me big time, particularly as the prices have increased too since the last time we ordered some month's ago.
The curry whilst decent was not as good as I remember, the sauce used to be top class but is niw average, the lemon rice now includes peanuts rather than cashews and also is not as good as it used to be and the Baji's and Somosa were both heavy in pepper or something similar, the very reason why we had stopped ordering.
There is a lot of competition in this City and I must politely suggest to the owners of this establishment that they need to step things back up again to their previous high standards otherwise they will lose not only this occasional customer!
Overall disappointed.....

So we've been coming here occasionally(like once a year) for years right. Not too bad at all. What's nice about this place is it is pretty diverse in its Indian food. When you usually go to an Indian restaurant you usually expect them to serve you Indian food from a specific part of India.... Like Punjabi food, or South Indian, Andhra, or keralite. What's nice here is they have a combination of different Indian dishes. The food isn't bad. The service is certainly 4 star and above.
They had Chicken stew on the menu this afternoon as a special. I saw it and got excited and ordered it only to find out that it gets served with paratha(not Kerala Parotta, LACHHA PARATHA😳) the floor manager confirmed this to me and I was disappointed. But ordered it anyways. Then the bigger shock. It was pieces of Malai chicken Kabab served in Kerala chicken stew. That messed up the taste buds totally.
Now here's where the 4 star and over service comes in. The floor manager showed up at our table with two complementary Appams(not on the menu) to make up for the Lachha paratha that was served with the dish. Nice appams. Great service, BAD stew
I have eaten the dosas here and they aren't bad at all. They also serve them with chicken, mutton or fish curries 😊
Another one of Dubai's hidden gems, really good Indian food and perfect if you are not into spicy flavours. Good value for money as portions are generous. Must try dishes: dosa, veg biryani and the papadams at the beginning with the tamarind sauce were wiped! They also deliver.
I went here for some good Indian food and I was not disappointed.. Dal fry and jeera rice was really nice!! I overdid the order and also got a Dum Biryani!! Really nice taste!!
Spicy Chicken Bezule... Unsual concept. Amazing. Try it Nextel time U're around jumeirah 3. The folks Aldo delivery in record time around the safa area.
Had a family get together here. Very good place but the Main course dishes had way too much gravy compared to the actual foodstuff. For eg In butter chicken, i hardly got any chicken to eat. This is not expected in a place like Jumeirah
Stopped in for a quick lunch. Service was swift and friendly, fish tikka beautifully spiced and succulent, lemon rice simply awesome. Yum. Go!
المطعم كان ممتاز والاكل لذيذ. جربت البرياني دجاج وكان روعة واخذت البتر شكن وكان ممتاز. هم جربت سلطة السيزر والالو تكه وكانو مقبولين
