Review on food :
Their Veg platter and non veg platter is good starter to order for a group of 9 people and for sharing .Their Thai chicken curry definitely rocks and the rest of their food .
Advice :
I would recommend to actually celebrate your bday party for a group go on a ladies night which happens on Wednesday as they give 50percent off on main course and have three complementary alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages from selected menu for ladies.
So I used this for a party of 9 girls and this works .
They do charge dhs 100 if you order a cake from outside which is fair .
Review on shisha :
Their shisha flavors :grape mint , orange and peach had been tried by us but I definitely favour their grape mint shisha .
Service :
Ask for Servers Tin Tin and Amore they do an amazing job and so does their asst manager.
We were happy with their service and catering to all our guests even when they had many guests .
My advice reserve your table in advance if you going to have a party there since they take reservations three days prior to your event .
My sincere thanks to Mr Rahil their manager , their assistant manager and servers Tin Tin And Amore who made this event special for us so definitely worth a visit .
An amazing afternoon lunch with friends, from service to taste to surroundings everything was gr8, we ordered for red hummus, spicy Thai salad,wonderful nachos n yummy quesadillas n one of the best veg Thai curry n finished with sizzling brownie. Everything was tasty n special thx to Mr Francis for his hospitality n care, gonna visit back soon.

Remember Vasco da Gama, the famous Portuguese explorer and the first European to reach India by sea… Just like he made a couple more voyages to India after this initial journey, I too am dreaming of going back to Da Gama again, the Portuguese restaurant in Century Village, named after Vasco da Gama, obviously, to try the rest of the Portuguese dishes that I couldn’t on my first visit.
Da Gama – Century village has many good restaurants which is a total fun spots for family. The surrounding is very beautiful and calm where you feel homely. We tried Da Gama recently and what I liked here was the outdoor seating, there is a bar outside which looks super classy. Nothing to talk about indoor seating but surely the food is the highlight of this place. We loved everything we tried. We started with the TRUFFLE FRIES the right amount of truffle makes it delicious. CHILI GARLIC SEAFOOD BASKET was very delicious, loved the fried seafood tossed in chili garlic.
Wahh wat a lovely place with unique concept.
Food is really good and the staff Ahmed was outstanding, there was a barman but he was not smiling at all.
Ahmed our server was outstanding with his product knowledge and upselling technique 10/10 for his service.
Great place to visit for food and beverage, beverages are cheap campare to other places.
I really loved the place and food, specially chicken fajitas.

If you are looking for a romantic place to dine in, this is one good place. They have a nice ambience, quiet place and lovely music.

Situated in the heart or Century Village, Da Gama has to be in the list of Mexican and Portuguese cuisines enthusiasts.. Amazing food with an indoor and outdoor dedicated lounge for Shisha and an outdoor area for families and children who wishes to avoid the smoke.. The setting inside the restaurant was beautifully done..
The drinks were fantastic. I wouldn't be exaggerating if I say that the best Naked Colata I have ever had was in here.. Just made me a huge fan of the drink.
Jalapeno stuffed is the star of the appetizers. The creamy texture with the slight spice was a treat for taste buds.
Nachos was served in a bigger nachos, where it was mixed with cheese and peppers. The dip was colourful and kept me going all thought out the meal.
The prawns and salad need to be mentioned as they not only were pleasing to look at but blended well with rest of the food.
Main course:
The chicken skewers were an art by itself.. And the art extends to serving as well.. Delicious dish.
Thai Vegitable dish is perfect for those vegetarian looking for a tasty meal.
Sea food dish with mussels, salmon and prawns was large enough dish to fill 2 people for those who want to economize. Deliciously prepared with their signature sauce.
Ambience:
Outdoor and indoor setting are beautifully decorated. Spacious and cosy. Ideal place to hang out with friends, family or on a date.

I have become a fan of century village and hence covering all the restaurants one by one before the winter in dubai gets over . SO this time our pick was Dagama .
This place is serving some authentic Portuguese cuisine along with some Mexican dishes as well . So we ordered some mix dishes from both the cuisine.
We started our dinner with some refreshing cocktails, and my choice was naked colada which was a mix of pineapple juice and coconut milk .
For starters, we had mushroom soup , smoked paprika calamari and wasabi prawns.
Soup was very creamy and yum with a tinch of oregano flavor and soup was served along with some crunchy and cheesy garlic bread
Calamari was crispy but feels like paprika flavor was a little excess . Wasabi prawns were not crispy as given in the menu but was having a unique taste .
Mains served were chicken quesadillas, herb crusted lamb chops and chicken diane.
Among the mains ,lamb chops was my favorite. It was soft, tender and juicy with creamy dijon mustard ,sprinkled with herbs.
Quesadilla was crispy and filling too.
Chicken was dish was normal grilled breast pieces served along with mash potatoes, vegetables and thai sauce
Ambience was great and service was quick. Most of the portugese dishes are cooked with wine, so do pay attention ,if you want to have without alcohol and hence they were a bit pricey too compared to other non alcoholic dishes

An amazing Portuguese and Mexican restaurant in Century village.
Went on Saturday during afternoon and the weather was so pleasant so we really liked the outdoor seating.
So we started with couple of cocktails and mocktails with a great vibes, even they have shisha during the daytime.
Than we placed our orders, and while waiting for your food to be ready, they serve a basket of crusty Garlic Bread 😉
They are jus awesome super crust with mild garlic flavor, I would love more if they added sm Parmesan on top to it.
STATER
Garlic Mushroom Salpicao - Cut mushroom sauteed to best in butter with a hint of garlic and chili flakes.
Baked Nachos -A huge bowl of baked nachos layered with cheeses sm olives and jalapeno and just perfect for 3 to 4.
Spicy Thai Salad - I'm big fan of Thai food, n this spicy salad satisfy my taste bud. The red eye bird chill and the galangal ginger in this was just perfect
to kick the hotness of the salad. And it goes perfect with my garlic bread.
MAIN
Arroz Vegetariano- Risotto rice mixed with veggies baked with tomato and garlic sauce , I could like if they add sm cheese and Italian herbs to make it more satisfying.
Seafood Platter- One of my best , It had a lot of stuff - prawns, calamari, mussels, Hammour grilled in garlic butter served with french fries and a big bowl of salad.
Dessert -
we had
the sizzling brownie- which was just fantastic. The brownie as well with sm crunch of nuts and the ice-cream tasted amazing with this hot.
I'm a big fan of Tiramisu , and this looked quite tempting. It tasted okay kind, and could have been better.
Lemon Grass Creme Brulee - rich custard base topped with a texturally contrasting layer of hardened caramelized sugar, and tasted a hint of lemon essence .
Overall it is a nice place if you want some Portuguese food along with drinks and shisha. Outside seating is great when the weather is pleasant. Even the interior seems to quite happening during night time.

A large restaurant situated amidst nature in century village with indoor seating as beautiful as the outdoor seating!
If you're lucky you would spot some ducks having a jolly time around this place.
This place is known for its Portuguese and Mexican food, and I didn't have any trouble being a vegetarian.
Baked Nachos - Portion served is huge and perfect bowl for sharing. Definitely, an appetizer to go for if you wish for Mexican.
The Garlic Mushroom Salpicao - a fine mix of Garlic and chili sautéed mushrooms. A fine appetizer to satisfy the love for mushrooms.
Spicy Thai Salad - Loved this Though I am not a fan of spicy food or salads, the spice and ginger in this was just perfect
to make me love salads!
While there are Fajitas, Burritos, Quesadillas, and a variety of dishes available, I decided to go with something different (as usual) - with the Arroz Vegetariano. I learned that Arroz is a traditional dish of Spain and Latin America, particularly a rice dish. I was served the same with veggies in risotto rice, it was lovely, just recommend a more hint of flavoring, probably some more garlic as per the traditional dishes.
For desserts, I get an amazing sizzling brownie, definitely one of the best in town!
If you like those coffee desserts - Tiramisu is quite good here too. If you want to try something different, the lemongrass creme brulee is another lovely dessert (originated from France/ England). It is immensely sweet and therefore served in a cute portion to satisfy the sweet cravings!

Situated in the beautiful Century Village with al fresco Dining, Da Gama promises you a delicious meal with a beautiful ambience.
The Indoor ambience is good and spacious with comfortable seating with a huge bar and an array of drinks too choose from.
We prefer sitting outdoor in this pleasant weather. They also have a cute little bar outdoors.
Food.
Wasabi prawns - So buttery and amazing. Loved it. The serving is quite a handful.
Panko Fish - fried in bread crumbs. This starter is just too good and soft on the inside. The tar tar dip along with it is added deliciousness.
Thai Chicken Curry
A well made green Thai curry with loads of chicken. The flavoring was so amazing.
Loved it and it went well with the jasmine rice.
Chicken Quesadilla
The filling was so so delicious.
4 huge yummy pieces of chicken quesadillas with loads of filling. 😍Must try!
Red Rush - a refreshing drink made out of berries and 7up. Loved every sip of this.
For dessert we ordered the sizzling brownie which was just too good. A huge brownie with a huge scoop of vanilla. Easily shared by 2.
The brownie was baked to perfection.
Staff - The service was pretty quick and the staff was very attentive and proactive.
Perfect place for awesome food in a great ambience.

AMBIENCE (5/5): I sat outside where the non smoking zone is. However this place has got vibrant indoors as well 😍. So romantic amd gives a relaxation feel.

FOOD (5/5): pictured here are the Herb Crusted LAMB chops 😍. Oh my this takes you to heaven and the meat is so tender and soft. I also tried their smoked calamari and t was crispy too.

For the mains I tried dagama discovery and it was perfectly cooked. Quesadillas here are a must try too.

As the weather is so good these days, I was able to have a great time by sitting outside and eating good food. While waiting for your food to be ready, they will serve you Garlic Bread 😉. The Fried Calamari were crunchy and the addition of smoked paprika gave them an amazing taste. The Seafood Bouillabaisse was loaded of seafood.

This winter in Dubai, I’m rediscovering one of my old favorite hangout and can’t be more happier. Yes, winter in Dubai is all about al fresco dining and last week I was back in the licensed Century Village in Garhoud suburbs. We visited Da Gama Restaurant and Lounge for lunch. Named after the great Portuguese explorer Vasco Da Gama, the restaurant serves delectable Portuguese cuisine along with Mexican classics.
The name itself will elicit history, voyage and adventure and a restaurant that has got such a name should surely be of the same caliber. Da Gama doesn't let you down, the journey here is magical. Once again, a hidden treasure in the open area of The Century Village. The ambiance is terrific, interiors are vibrant and their Bar is one that had won many notable awards and nominations. We went there last week and the place was set up with Christmas decorations and winter colors. We loved it from the get go.
This is pretty large restaurant, serves Portuguese and Latin American Cuisines. It is fine dinning restaurant. Full Bar Available.

What can I say about this place .It is located in such a beautiful Century Village which gives you amazing ambience and especially in this kind of weather you will love the place in afternoon . The service and the staff is really good here . I was impressed of great choices of non alcoholic drinks were available for a person like me who is non alcoholic .I had strawberry mojito and strawberry shake which was so refreshing and amazing .
The starters were surely a hit for me starting with the 'Wasabi Prawns' so good flavoursome it was with right amount of sauce in it .Then were the mixed 'Tapas platter' which included chicken skewers,panko fish ,wasabi prawns and paprika calamari and nachos totally recommend this amazing platter to share. The 'Wagyu beef burger was another tasty one for beef lovers.Patties were juicy and deliciously fresh.
Then was the Mains which were unique at its own .Starting with the amazing perfect dishes which is "Chicken Diane ,baked fish ,(Espetadas -Dagama Discovery) ,(Cataplana -Cataplana di Marisco) .The quality and quantity wise it was just on top notch .
How can you not have the desserts after their amazing food .I had delicious sizzling brownie and blue berry cheese cake ,perfect balance of sweetness and light on stomach .
I absolutely recommend trying out this place although I’m not a fan of the ambiance but the food is absolutely amazing especially the chicken quesadillas its my favorite by far

Last week my husband and I were at the Dubai Tennis Open and decided to dine out at Da Gama restaurant. As far the food and drinks go ...we have absolutely no complaints...
Starting with the drinks we ordered for the bullfrog and beach island....both were well made and well presented...
for appetizers we ordered for the Tofu squares and Vietnamese spring rolls...delicious..flavorful and served with great sauces...
for the mains we ordered for the veg quesadillas and chicken fajita...i have to say the quesadillas were probably the best i have had.. ..generously stuffed with broccoli, mushrooms, baby corn and loaded with CHEESE :)) absolutely loved it... The husband loved his Fajitas as well..
so overall we had a great time!
Droppes down for aome drinks the chilli hammous was totally amazing and fresh. Outside seating with helpful staff..

Service is fast and food is good on the go. The menu is apt for people who want to have something filling and not too bulky to eat. Drinks we have a wide menu but house beverages are limited.
Excellent food (at least the dish that I've tried), quick delivery, I'm very satisfied! The food is slightly oversalted, so would be nice to change this aspect and it will be perfect!
Good atmosphere, nice to sit outdoors when the weather is good. I like their panto chicken, truffle fries, chicken Diane and Thai green curry. Their beef nachos are a bit dry. A nice place to chill at.
Really nice cocktails, I have had several mojitos and caipirinhas there! I've always tried the quesadillas and they were very tasty! The ambience reminds of night club! The thing is I never tried the portuguese food, as this is supposed to be a portuguese restaurant.

This place is amazing during the winter.
The entertainment and live music keeps you on your feet and being a music lover karaoke nights are the greatest.
Food is amazing and shisha is also really good here.

This place is great during the winter. We ordered a red pepper humus(average), truffle fries(good), edamame (average), garlic mushroom salpicao (I'm in love with this, it's beyond amazing), wasabi prawns (way too good), stuffed jalapeno poppers (good) and nachos (beyond amazing ). The drinks were good and the shisha was average(not good not bad). The service was slow, but the food is worth it!
A beautiful atmosphere and fortunately the weather is getting better so we sat outside on the couches that were pretty comfy for a lounge kinda seating... Staff were friendly and always cleared our empty playes and asked if we would like more drinks... athe food was good, kind of a portuguese/spanish blend more than mexican.... we were 4 persons so we decided to share the plates. For starters we tried the Vegetarian Tortilla Basket, it was okay, had better. And the Chilli garlic Seafood Basket, which was unique and tasty, had a great presentation. For main courses we had the Chicken Quesadillas, which was tasty and yummy, Chicken Burrito was good, and the massive Arroz Di Marisco which was served in a massive cooking dish. So its more than enough to share for 4 if u've had appetizers before. Nice place and good food overall 😊
Ate there tonight it was tasty! I love Mexican food. Could not eat the whole Quesadilla. Came home to find they only packed one piece of the left overs and the other piece was thrown away??? That was a bit annoying. I certainly did not ask them to throw my Seafood Quesadilla slice away!
Da Gama was one of the coolest places to hit Century Village about 16 years back, offering one of the coolest ambience, food and experience. 16 years later they are still just as cool in many ways and still offer the most relaxed and fun ambiences within the Century Village complex.
Their Sheesha beds are still around, which were such a hit when they first launched. Food at Da Gama has always been good, with their interesting Portuguese and Mexican menu, which offers some great vegetarian options as well. Staff and service at this restaurant have always been good, with never a reason to complain.
Their club nights and overall club theme is what differentiates them most from all other offers in the Century Village. A tad bit pricey but a Century Village kind of location and ambience doesn’t come cheap ☺.
If you are looking for a place where you can enjoy great food and service and have sheesha while sipping on a drink in a fun, relaxed ambience then Da Gama is your place to be.
I was sooo surprised with this place and wondered y I haven't been here before.. The food service and the ambiance was just amazing!! Loved it.. Had a great time and totally worth the money.. I would definitely go back and the Nachos is a must try!! Yum!

The service, the ambience, and not to forget their food - they have it all. I have been going to this place since forever. They have an awesome bar and a sheesha set up as well, all under one roof.
My regular order is a Vege platter, where variations can be made upon choice. The tofu and the edamame are super healthy options, while the jalepano cheese poppers and nachos make up for the junk cravings. Balanced, ain't it 😊
We tried the Veg Thai curry with rice last time, and although it wasn't like the regular thai food, it was fab and had so many fresh veges. I love their bull frog and they give in fresh garlic bread as complimentary to nibble on.
All in all, I really am not sure what can I complain on except this being a little pricey. But indulgence is allowed once a while 👍🏼

I came here for a friend's birthday dinner on a Thursday. I had a feeling the restaurant would be full but it was almost empty. We had the Garlic bread, nachos, quesedillas, burritos and the sizzling brownie.
To start off the garlic bread was really nice, soft and had a great taste to it. Next we ordered the veg nachos, which had a good filling in terms of veggies and was presented nicely and the sour cream, salsa & guacamole enhanced the taste. The quesedillas were alright nothing great. I felt a hint of coriander was there inside the quesedillas which in a way hindered the desired taste of the quesedillas and could have been much better. The burritos were accompanied with rice and something which can be called a bean sauce or a bean gravy. The burrito was pretty good and the rice along with the bean gravy/sauce went will with it.
At the end we ordered a sizzling brownie. The brownie was really soft and the ice cream goes along very well with the hot brownie and the chocolate sauce beneath the brownie.
Overall it was a decent restaurant in terms of food and service. I would love to dine in at Da Gama once again.
I visited this place a lot during my college days and i still visit them for my favorite drink, naked colada which is basically a non alcoholic pina colada, i also like their stuffed jalapeno poppers which have their own unique taste.
I would have been more happy if it was winters would have enjoyed outdoor seatings. But I loved the place . We went on Saturday and it wasn't luckily so full. I love Mexican food so we decided to try here. I loved their chicken fajita and veg quesadillas. They have 20% on enbd which makes you drink more ;) good place good ambience . I have always liked the ambience of century village especially when the weather is pleasant. Da gama has good outdoor seating and pretty descent music. It has a chilled out vibe on the weekends. The food is descent as well . We ordered the chicken fajita which was in good portion and tasted good. Wasn't a fan of the espedata though. We ordered beer and cocktail named - give it to me.. Lol - it was quite refreshing.They served a good portion of complimentary garlic bread .Enjoyed the dinner and atmosphere. Thumbs up fm my side.
Nice place to sit outside with live music. Unfortunately you cannot hear it because the volume of the music inside is on 200%. Food is ok and great facecard discount. Calamari was not very good though.

We just walked in randomly to this place. I love Portuguese grills. Nothing special about the ambiance , service average but food is delicious. Do try the Gamabas but they are overly priced for 150 aed for 5 pieces.
Every bit was delicious abs surely will visit again .

We ordered baked nachos for our starters and Bacalhau a Gomes de sa, sea food al forque and seafood platter for our main course. The food was superb!! However the service here is horrible.. We got our starter wid our main course. Our drinks were served probably 10mins before our main course. Overall the food is good but the service needs to be improved..
Your go to place for Portuguese cuisine. I suggest waiting until the weather gets better. Chicken espetada is the best in town. The quessedilas and baked nachos were average. Service is a bit slow though.

The food is always cooked to perfection. Loved the lamb shank on my last visit and the perfect marinated steak. The atmosphere is amazing and so is the service. MR ASIF always makes us feel like home. Awesome service and environment
DaGama a favorable option while being at the Century village located in Garhoud. They serve food and alcohol along with shisha.
I have almost tried all their vegetarian options such as Red Pepper Hummus, Stuffed Jalapeno Poppers, Baked Nacho`s, Classic Caesar Salads, Vegetable Fajitas & Burritos. My favorite is the Vegetable Quesadillas, Vegetable Tortilla Basket & Sizzling Brownie.
They do serve shisha indoors & outdoors. We can also order items from their Indian Restaurant Masala Craft located in Century Village itself belonging to the same group.
Their supervisor Mr. Asif who was earlier a bar tender is quiet friendly and always makes it easy for me and my group with regards to arranging seating even without making any reservations.
I have been visiting this place quiet often since a few years now. I use to be a regular to this place every Friday as this place use to convert into a Club Night a few years back.
Da Gama is a Portuguese restaurant, one of many eateries in Century village. The weather doesn't help sitting outside but inside area is welcoming and fresh. The food was really good, we ordered da Gama discovery and the arroz Di marisco, they looked really amazing when brought to the table. The only bad thing was the slow service as it took a while before we got our meals. Shush a was served inside too, and it was a good made shisha. We had a good time here and we will come back to taste the rest of the menu option they serve.
Loved the raviolli , great ambiance and goood restaurant.
I was there last weekend, we ordered the raviolli and the arabitta pasta with red sauce and grape mint shisha.
Everything was perfect.

Da Gama is a Bar & Lounge located in the very happening Century Village, Al Garhoud. Restaurant is dimly lit & elegantly done up, it has a energetic vibe. Serves Portuguese cuisine alongside popular Asian & Mexican favourites.It also has a expansive bar that offers cocktails curated by keeping in mind the humid weather of Dubai. There is a huge screen & several TVs displaying football matches as the watchful patrons cheered & relished the match with delights. Da Gama also offers sheesha to its patrons in various flavours.
We tried Mushroom soup, Stuffed Jalapeno Poppers, Panko Fish & Baked Fish, it was a Grilled Hammour served with tomato sauce, grilled veggies & mashed potatoes. All the dishes were extremely flavoursome & DELICIOUS. Even ordered for Vegetable Quesadillas, this was served with sour cream, guacamole & spiced salsa. Baked Fish, its a Grilled Hammour fish served with tomato sauce, veggies & baked potatoes. Amazing Food. Taste & quality both are impressive.
Service was very good, food were served very quickly. Ample parking space also earns this restaurant Brownie points. Overall experience & wonderful and satisfying. This place is highly recommended. I am definitely going there again.

Situated in the beautiful Century Village with al fresco Dining, Da Gama promises you a delicious meal with a beautiful ambience.
The Indoor ambience is good and spacious with comfortable seating with a huge bar and an array of drinks too choose from.
We prefer sitting outdoor in this pleasant weather. They also have a cute little bar outdoors.
Food.
Wasabi prawns - So buttery and amazing. Loved it. The serving is quite a handful.
Panko Fish - fried in bread crumbs. This starter is just too good and soft on the inside. The tar tar dip along with it is added deliciousness.
Thai Chicken Curry
A well made green Thai curry with loads of chicken. The flavoring was so amazing.
Loved it and it went well with the jasmine rice.
Chicken Quesadilla
The filling was so so delicious.
4 huge yummy pieces of chicken quesadillas with loads of filling. 😍Must try!
Red Rush - a refreshing drink made out of berries and 7up. Loved every sip of this.
For dessert we ordered the sizzling brownie which was just too good. A huge brownie with a huge scoop of vanilla. Easily shared by 2.
The brownie was baked to perfection.
Staff - The service was pretty quick and the staff was very attentive and proactive.
Perfect place for awesome food in a great ambience.

Named after the famous Portuguese explorer, Vasco da Gama, this is a restaurant serving Portuguese food. I was joined by a few friends and as it was Lent season, I stuck to the vegetarian part of the menu while my friends enjoyed veg. and non-veg.
Baked Nachos, and Stuffed Jalapeno Poppers from the starter menu is worth trying. For mains, I opted for a Veg. Thai curry which was a red curry as opposed to the Thai green curry and it was served with steamed rice. It did look very simple but it was loaded with flavours.
Overall, a great place to spend some wonderful time in the company of good food, friends and family. It is child-friendly too. They also serve alcohol and shisha.

I have become a fan of century village and hence covering all the restaurants one by one before the winter in dubai gets over . SO this time our pick was Dagama .
This place is serving some authentic Portuguese cuisine along with some Mexican dishes as well . So we ordered some mix dishes from both the cuisine.
We started our dinner with some refreshing cocktails, and my choice was naked colada which was a mix of pineapple juice and coconut milk .
For starters, we had mushroom soup , smoked paprika calamari and wasabi prawns.
Soup was very creamy and yum with a tinch of oregano flavor and soup was served along with some crunchy and cheesy garlic bread
Calamari was crispy but feels like paprika flavor was a little excess . Wasabi prawns were not crispy as given in the menu but was having a unique taste .
Mains served were chicken quesadillas, herb crusted lamb chops and chicken diane.
Among the mains ,lamb chops was my favorite. It was soft, tender and juicy with creamy dijon mustard ,sprinkled with herbs.
Quesadilla was crispy and filling too.
Chicken was dish was normal grilled breast pieces served along with mash potatoes, vegetables and thai sauce
Ambience was great and service was quick. Most of the portugese dishes are cooked with wine, so do pay attention ,if you want to have without alcohol and hence they were a bit pricey too compared to other non alcoholic dishes
