This place is amazing and pocket friendly again.. the best part of the place is the Desi Feeling that they have created.. if anyone is from Punjab they will definately feel like home... They have a different section for thier hookah dinning which is really cool and they also have a live karaoke 🎤 going on...

Loved the ambiance of the place so cozy so desi types. They have a wide range of varieties in their menu, i just for the first timer tried their Chicken tikka and chicken malai roll, and I can say they were lip smacking! The chicken tikka roll was spot on the perfect spice and the side onion fillings in the roll the portion size is definitely worth it and the malai roll was mild in spice but it was served with green chutney to give it a spicy taste. Definitely Try this out once anyone visits this place! You will love it
Amazing place, amazing staff, very warm and courteous experience. Staff specially Shaukat and Namita were wonderful host. Food was amazing and they made sure that the birthday celebration was good. Overall a very family friendly place and must revisit. There kebabs are a must try btw.

An authentic place for Desi food and they have a separate section for shisha and live music. The staff Sangeetha was very friendly and the serve time was ok . The restaurant manager Ms.Namitha was very active and she was making sure that she has attended all the guests . We have ordered panipuri , chicken mussalam , chilly chicken dry and roti . Chicken mussalam is a must try dish of the restaurant . I have also suggested them to improve on their chat menu .
A super amazing experience at this restaurant. Wide range of dishes to choose from indian and arabic. The restaurant is of 2 floors where the bottom floor is family only restaurant, and the top floor is a sheesha lounge. The staffs are amazing, and service is quick as well. Recommended dishes would be the murgh musallam, mango tango and tangdi kulfi.

Desi village is a great place for families and large gatherings they have ample seating area. Loved the whole village theme here. staff is also very friendly and attentive. Some of the best dishes which I would recommend here is tangdi kulfi , galawti kebab and Murg musallam. Didn’t like the biryani I’m not a fan of dry fruits in my Biryani so if you guys love it then go for it.

Among all the dishes that I tried ,my most favourite was the Awadhi Mutton Biryani.It was quite different compared to a hyderabadi biryani in terms of flavor.I also enjoyed having the lucknawi speciality the murgh musalam which had a rich creamy gravy .Lastly ,I wanted to try something from anything cuisines so I had Penne Arabiata .The pasta has a desi touch to it .
I loved the Ambiance of the restaurant ,its very welcoming and home like .They had two floors so on the ground floor their serve food and on the first floor they serve sheesha.

Hands down one of the best Indian cuisine restaurants out there in Dubai. This place serves you a wide variety of dishes along with some refreshing drinks accompanies along with them. They also do have a separate seating area for the Shisha lovers who would like to have a enjoyable gala time here smoking some shisha. I would highly recommend you guys to try out their Gulnaar Aloo and Tangdi kulfi in the starters. They were easily the highlights of my trip to Desi village. Where Gulnaar aloo gives you a feel of the authentic sizzlers the Tangdi Kulfi provides you a whole new fusion between the cheesiness and chicken goodness. Loved the presentation on the as well. Apart from that the chicken tikka lababdar in the mains is also a great addition to your meal for some of the chicken lovers out there. Although their Biryani was a bit of a downplay compared to the standard of the various other dishes the serve which i would recommend for them to improve on. In the drinks section i would really loved their Shikanji which was pretty refreshing to be had along with a heavy meal. All in all this place would be a great go to spot for you to enjoy a Fine dining experience with your loved ones for a meal to be enjoyed along with some amazing ambiance and live music on specific days.

Tried few of their dishes. Loved the starters tangdi kulfi and dahi k sholay both were superb.
The rogan josh paired well with the lacha paratha and naan. The chicken tikka lababdar was tasty.
The lucknowee mutton biryani was flavourful and delicious.
The shahi tukda was yummm. Try out this place for these yummy delicacies.
Only visiting this coz of the service provided by the staff ambience and hospitality provided by Mr Altaf 👍

We ordered chicken lababdar and veg sabz, both were tasty and spicy , we like the ambience and over all staff service. Even the order came fast in like 10 min , lastly garlic butter naan very crispy.
We loved the food. Ordered Mutton and Paneer; both were really amazing in taste. Tried their Shahi Tukda which also lived upto the expectations. Ambience is good moreover staff is really cordial and prompt.

Desi village is an Indian cuisine restaurant in al garhoud that serves great varieties of indian curries, breads, biryanis and drinks
.And they have separate shisha area in the top .. on Monday they have ladies night n only 1 AED for shisha.

DAHI SHOLAY -Very soft and unique kind of dahi ka kebab
GULNAAR ALOO - that's my fav , tandoori potatoes with some crunch of capsicum and onion .
PRAWN BIRYANI (Highly Recommend). The biryani was full of flavour with a beautiful aroma.
PANNER TIKKA MASALA Must try. Super buttery and creamy with well cooked panner pieces) goes well with Garlic Naan
DAL MAKHNI that aslo a good but little butter is more that make it heavy.
Ended with the gulab jamun, super soft.
Overall we loved the service , the waiter ensuring that our time at the restaurant was a good one.And really we had a wonderful experience..

We came here early for dinner. Was a nice quiet, beautiful place with some amazing food. You can tell they take care in the preparation of their food. Kadai prawn curry, dum biriyani was awesome.
Want to visit the village side in the urban city? Visit Desi Village for the most authentic ambience and amazing Indian food. We tried their Dahi ke Sholay and for all those non veg lovers, we definitely recommend this veg dish, its out of the ordinary. Do try the chicken Kulfi to satisfy your nonveg cravings too. The creamy texture of the white sauce just made us go ooh lala!
Drinks were Sikanji and masala chaas. Both at its finest!
For the mains we had the bhuna gosht, great with their bread basket! And the chicken Lababdar was Lababdar! We definitely recommend this one, you guys will not go wrong! Also, their Lucknowee biryani was outstanding, flavorful and just perfect with that minty flavor.
For desserts we had their malai firni. Rose and nuts, a perfect combination. Take your fam and friends and head down here to give them the most authentic Desi experience! 5/5 guys 👏
A great place with wonderful ambiance. Taste of the food and service are great. Tried Prawns and fish in starters recommended by Razzak. Both starters had excellent taste. Main course was chicken balti which was great as well. Service by the team is great. Razzak in particular can be completely relied upon for selecting the dishes. A must visit for all food lovers in Dubai.
The restaurant ambience is is very pretty. Tried Chicken Musallam, Chapli kabab. The Musallam dish is a huge portion. It is pretty much enuf for 3 people i think.
Service is very good. I just wish they give a bit more details about the food quantity. Chapli comes with nice tasty thin paratha as complimentary. Which itself is so filling. Had i known it before, I wudn’t have ordered so many extra naans which are in my refrigerator now 😄
Otherwise the place is beautiful has huge screen for sports, and overall it is a good feeling restaurant.
The food and ambience at Desi village is very good. The staff is courteous and welcoming. They have a good variety of mocktails. We tried their kebabs and biryani and both turned out to be delicious. The only thing they could improve is the flies/mosquitos in the restaurant. Overall a nice experience + it's a 24x7 restaurant.
Tangdi kulfi kebab is one of the chefs specials here. The word 'kulfi' in the dish suggested that it was going to be a creamy extravaganza and so it was. The malai/cream was a dipping sauce in a wine glass with a nicely cooked chicken drumstick and a few pomegranates to add a punch. The restaurant was designed like an old desi village with small pan shops painted on the wall and even even kite threads. The chicken tikka lababdar was another top dish that we would return for and they even have shisha like in a desi village. We also tried dahi ke sholay(4/5), diamon cuts (5/5 - complimentary), masala chaas(5/5), chicken tikka lababdar(5/5), mutton biryani(4/5) and mutton curry(4/5). Service here was also good as we were looked after from the beginning and definitely a great place to check out.
