We ordered their combo deals which had chapli kabab and lamb chops. The meat was cooked to the perfection. It is served with some shorba (soup) and tastes very good.

This is not the first time we are eating at Afghan Khorshan Kabab. Sharing my experience from our latest visit.
We recently celebrated the occasion of a friend's first salary here. The ambience is unique and colorful, very bright. Specially the washing area, which is all in Golden!
We ordered the Mutton Tikka (these are chops!), Seekh Kabab & Chapli Kabab. Proud to say these are some of the best grills you will ever find in Dubai, specially the Tikka!!! We also ordered the Mutton Kadai, and Palak, which was very delicious. Served with freshly baked tandoori rotis. In the end, for desserts, we had the Rabdi which was sinful.
All in all, it was a terrific evening with friends, great food and amazing ambience.
We love eating here because of the great food and reasonable price. Our favorite is Afghani Pulao with Maicha which is good for 2 persons. The meat is very soft and the rice is very nice with raisins and carrot and not oily. I also love the kunafa here with cheese inside and the manager prepares it himself (we notice that everytime we order here). The washroom is clean and nice as well. There is plenty of RTA parking space.
My go to restaurant whenever I crave afghani cuisine, esp. My favorite afghani pulao which never disappoints!

Tasty food and pure afgan style. Just opposite to dubai bowling centre, service is good and parking facilities are available. Kabab tastes amazing and the best dish is afgani afgani pulao. Try there highly recommended.
Amazing food and rice tastes so good, the only thing is the A/C needs more improvement since it’s hot for dining in the place, the best branch is the one in Al Qouz
Their food quality is really very good and authentic. Service is not bad.
Just be mindful that in summer seems like the place doesn't really cool down much during the day.
My fav is their afghani pulau with meat.
Make sure to try their pomegranate juice as well, very refreshing and natural.

Fantastic! Fantastic! Fantastic! If you are a fan of Afghani food or Pulao, this is THE restaurant to go to. The quality of food and taste demonstrates the love and care the chef has taken in preparation. We have ordered the Lamb Pulao and Chapli kababs numerous times now, and the consistency in flavor, taste, quality and accompaniments is astonishing. Every Lamb pulao (and every other dish) comes free with fresh, soft, hot, and large tandoor nans. They also include a mild tomato gravy based mutton curry, a small serving of Hammus, assorted fresh veggies, and a tamarind tomato sauce!!! All for free. The Lamb Pulao is packed to the brim with massive chunks of slow cooked meat and rice that the lid used to cover the aluminum container is insufficient to hold it all, that they have to wrap the entire container again in aluminum foil. I have never experienced this kind of generous portioning. Through repeated orders I have also realized the consistency in all of the above. Thank you Afghan Khorasan Kabab. The legendary hospitality of the Afghan people is clearly reflected in your business.
PS1: The value for money is more than double compared to almost every other Afghani Restuarant on Zomato. The prices are unbelievably competitive.
PS2: The 5 times we have ordered in the past 2 weeks, the delivery time was constantly within 30mins of placing the order.

Going there since years and haven’t come across any disappointing situation ever. They have maintained the same taste since beginning. Thats the best part. I’ve tried almost every item on the menu and all are delicious. Beat picks i would say are chapli kebab, shinwari karahi & lamb chops.
After cycling on Al Meydan we were in dire need of carbohydrates and have noticed this restaurant located at a major intersection on Meydan Road. It was mainly visited by individuals from the subcontinent and had outdoor seating. The waiters were great and explaiend all meal options and it was typical middle eastern cuisine. Kebabs, Pilaw Rice, Curries, etc. All meals were very tasty and fresh made. A place to return to
If you do not already know through my blog, let me inform you that I am a person who loves to try different cuisines and different restaurants. Afghani cuisine has been one of them that I wanted to try. There are many Afghani restaurants around but I wanted to try the true Afghani taste and not that which is mended according to the need of time.
The kababs of afgans are famous for it's best taste of all the kababs ever made. I too loved the food here. Tried this outlet for very first time and became a fan of this place.

I had been here with a couple of friends for lunch and decided to try out Afghani Cuisine. The interiors has a traditional touch to it with traditional seating as well as tables and chairs available. The staff were very kind enough to explain about the dishes. I ordered the Mutton Tikka with Afghani Pulao . The dishes were accompanied with lamb stew and traditional Afghani Bread. The meal starts with a complimentary Veg Soup . The Mutton Tikka was tender and juicy . The Afghani Pulao tasted delicious 😋. This meal is enough for two people to share . I loved the food and the price is also reasonable. I will definitely come back to try the other dishes on their menu
Been to this place 2 days ago. The ambience is of a typical afghani restaurant but decent enough to visit with family. We ordered a mixed grill (150 AED ) which was sufficient for 4 people . It came with different kinds kababs of meat and chicken. Personally I did not like the chicken tikka which was part of the platter . Very bland and extremely dry. But the rest of the grill was very nice. The Aroma rice that comes with it is extremely good . Simply loved it! They also serve complimentary soups which was ok. Over all we loved the experience . Would definitely recommend this place

We really felt the need to try a smaller and more homey place, so the outside abode of this location pulled us in. Here is what happened:
Ambiance: sincerely unexpected. Lots of decoration to a definite excess that made me feel like I was at a junk collecting grandmother's place. Oddly enough, I sort of enjoyed it
Food:
Kofta Kebab - nice taste. May not be the best, but it tasted nice and came with a ton of sides
Mutton Pulao - very delicious dish! I really liked how it was all spiced and had some nice sweet topping and soft mutton
Service: sometimes a bit hard to get attention, but it felt a bit like talking to family
Bang for Buck: definitely cheap for what you get
I was rather happy with the visit, even taking the surprises. I might go again soon for that pulao...
A very good option for non spicy healthy food lovers, especially Afghani Pulao and Seekh Kabab are just top of the list.

Had mid week lunch at this Afghan Restaurant. To be fair, the décor and location are not great...but the food is very good, and the service was excellent and friendly. Authentic? I think so. The big lunch crowd means that it is popular with the local work community.
Took my family there. Our fav dish is the mutton Afghan Pilav. So delicious. My one and only comment is that the waiters are wearing slippers, C'mon guys show up some tidiness.!!!

This is my forth time. A nice place to have Afghani / Indian kebab with fresh baked oven hot bread. Good authentic taste and value for the money. Now a days parking is difficult to get (Roads nearby are under construction/ renovation)

One of the under rated restaurants situated at the main alquoz and al maydan road intersection. From the exterior, the place looks like another ordinary restaurant, but upon entering has a neat and pleasant decor.
They have a family majlis area as well, incase one needs a complete traditional experience.
Coming to the food, as expected, was a nice blend of spices and flavor. The sides complimented very well with the food. Even the kunafa was a good blend of crispiness and creaminess.
The only turn down was the service, which was slow.

Afghan Khorasan is a surprisingly unrecognised restaurant that serves up the best Afghani Pulao that I have ever had!
They even have an option to serve the pulao with chicken which I had tried last night and I thought it would be a grilled chicken and pulao; and was expecting a dry chicken breast but that was not the case! I got a really juicy half chicken with the pulao served with Afghan Nan and Mutton Curry!
I must say that their quantities are more than satisfactory for the prices compared to other restaurants that serve afghani pulao. What an amazing dish that needs some major recognition!
The place looks very traditional and although there are private tables and majlis seating arrangements. Additionally, there is a large table to share with other customers creating an amazing atmosphere.
Absolute gem! If you are craving for some heavy, sleep inducing Afghani food, then look no further.
This by far has to be one of the better restaurants serving Afghan cuisine in UAE.
Be it the afghani pulao with the lovely pomegranate seeds or the osm Mutton kebabs!

Amazing place for mutton pulao and kabab . Delivery is slow so give then atleast 1 hour . There food servings are big so don’t order so many dishes .

The interiors might come off flamboyantly bizzare. The complementary soup may also not impress. However, this place offers the best in terms of authentic Afghani grills, kebabs and rice.
The service quality may vary but the staff do their best. My favourite dishes include the pulao with meat and mutton kadai. Flavours are usually mild yet scrumptious. Portion sizes are generous. Ensure that you come with an appetite!

We placed an order for delivery a day before. The food came in on time. We ordered several of the Afghani pulao and it was really good and the meat was tender. It comes with soup n a lentil curry, salad and tomato sauce. We also ordered their mutton kadhai. You have to understand this dish uses a lot of oil but it was delicious. The bread that it comes with which was a generous portion is nice as well. We also ordered mutton kebabs. I think these could be a tad more flavorful although best when they are served right off the grill or when they are hot. Overall a very decent place considering their prices are very reasonable .

Traditonal shorba is served with fresh salad and Hummas before the food was served.The order took around 15 minutes which wasn't bad We ordered mutton kebab and ladyfinger gravy, though I was not very confident, to my surprise, mutton kebab was cooked to perfection with well balanced spice and it was juicy, lady finger was too delicious and the gravy too yummy. Believe me this was the best and yummiest food in a very economical price. On the top of it it was fresh and appetizing, the whiff of fresh roti bread was enough to drool us for more.This place is definitely worth a visit.

I have been driving past this restaurant for years and have always wanted to try, I'm really glad I did as I was really taken by surprise as the outside looks nothing like the inside. I was also pleased to see the many different nationalities eating there.
Service is fantastic, food is really good especially the mutton karahi with the gigantic naan, kebabs are also delicious. Highly recommended.

Afghan pulao was flavorful.
Rotis were cold but on rewuest they got hot and crispy rotis to eat with the ghosht curry.
They were quick and clean too.

Service: The service was quick - the staff is friendly as well.
Food: The food here is good. Everything we tried was tasty - no complains. It is flavourful just as one would expect while eating out.
Location: The location is easy to find but the parking is a bit of an issue so have to wait queit a while during peak times.
Recommendations: It is a nice place to go to once in a while. I have visited a few times and don’t see a reason to not go again.
