Tawa Methi paratha served with curd, aalu sabzi and cabbage. A filling breakfast
Good gujarati thali place with paratha, chaats, samosas etc in the menu.
Thali is unlimited quantity with decent quality of food..
This place serves some good Gujarati food . Tried their Friday Thali & Gujarati snacks . Everything was totally value for money . Would recommend it to all my friends.
Excellent homely fresh gujarati taste. Staff & service also very friendly. Love to visit again & again. I feel that such kind of normal food one can even have every day, as their weekly menu is also quite diversified.
We visited Himalaya restaurant, in Oud Metha, Dubai for a family lunch on a Saturday. It serves Indian thali specialities and vegetarian food. There is limited seating.
We ordered the aamras thali - The thali had a variety of dal, vegetables and gravy in addition to the aam ras which we couldn't resist taking more servings. The unlimited rotis were delicious.
The staff is friendly and can't stop refilling our thalis! As it is a small place the ambience is quite satisfactory. Paid parking is available just outside the restaurant.

'Delicious thali and aamras!'
We visited Himalaya restaurant, in Oud Metha, Dubai for a weekend lunch. It is an Indian vegetarian restaurant that serves thali specialities, and mouthwatering aam ras. Although space is limited, it is cozy.
The thali was delicious and the aam ras was very yummy. The rotis were soft and tasty. The baingan and aloo (eggplant and potato) sabzi was yummy to the core. As it is an unlimited thali, the waiters kept serving us endlessly - we had to ask them to stop!
They also serve a variety of complimentary chutneys, pickles, as well as a jug of buttermilk!
The thalis are affordable and unlimited and therefore, very filling.
The staff is friendly and obliging. The ambience is fair, as there are only a few tables and using space is a challenge. Paid parking is available just outside the restaurant.

Had ragda Patrice...very tasty and very generous serving. Their Aamras Thali is also very tasty but a little expensive at Aed 19. Place is small but clean. Parking is difficult during peak hours
Awesome Gujarati cuisine. Love their Amras and thepla. Very pocket friendly prices. And cordial staffs. Tried their Khaman dhokla too...one of the best so far in Dubai.
Nice place for chats and North Indian thalis. We tried the sev puri, pani puri, dahi puri and amras thali.Small and neat place.Staff are very courteous.
This is one of my favorite place when I have craving for pure veg thali meals. A small joint which serve clean neat and healthy vegetarian food. Very reasonably priced.
Highly recommend the Dinner Thali. Pure gujarati food, home taste and good for when you are home sick even while at Home :) they will bring you hot Rotis and delicious veggies with rice & Dal. Its an unlimited thali, bring you appetite.
The best place to have samosa in the dubai is this restaurant and goes well along with their famous tea, they also serve gujrati food and that's awesome, was quite frequent there and i still miss the chutneys along with samosa ..
If you are searching for a gujarati place to eat, then this is the place for you. A small restaurant but lot of food options.
Tastes good and staff can talk to you in Gujarati too. Much feels like home if you are from gujarat, india.
I usually go with the thali and they will feed you not only chapatis but with love too.
Must visit place
Very tasty food specially Chat items. Dabeli is the best. Very friendly, professional & accommodative all staffs, giving homely feeling, keep it up
Simple but delicious meals.. we had the special thaali which had aam ras and it was delicious for 25dhs.. service was exeptionally good.. I feel the food here was better than their Karama branch...
I came here with my family as I heard a lot about it. We ate a few plates of gol gappas. It was priced at Dhs 8 per plate. Loved the spicy water. They offered a complimentary fresh boondi ka ladoo which was soft and sweet! Would love to come again.
I had Pav bhaji it’s vary delicious and vary taste and best luck for new open branch we visit again. Hop your anther more branch open and we visit there
Nice gujarati thali. Its complete home food with unlimited chasss (buttermilk) even in limited thali. I would say its very reasonable. Ordrd mini thali @15dirham and got three vegetable, one kadhi, khichdi, sweet bondi and 4 chapatti. Plus i ordrd a plate of samosa whch costed 5dirham nd i got two samosa. Best samosas and very reasonable. If u ever crave typical house food thn this is the best place to go. Yeah they do hve very limited space and its nt a typical nicely decorated restrnt
A nice place serving multi-cuisine which includes Sindhi, Gujarati and south indian food. I tried their Gujarati thali lunch which was quite sumptuous. The staff is friendly and pleasant.
This unassuming little shack serves some of the most mouth-watering dishes. Primarily known for their Gujarati food, they are experts in a range of food including south indian food. My friends swear by their Gujarati thali which is perhaps one of the cheapest but most delicious vegetarian thalis in town. For where else would you get unlimited food for just AED 18?! They are pretty small and the shop looks like it is in some old world town in rural india, however dont go by the looks. Their food tastes delicious. I tried their gujarathi thali the other day with my friends. I loved it! Plus the service is amazing. They treat their customers like king. Especially sunil bhaiya - the head server who keeps filling your plate over and over and over again with food till you cry out loud.. "bhaiya aur nahi, pleaseeeeeeee". Complete value for money . If you are a pure vegetarian, i highly recommend this place. If you are on of those fakies, who like to eat only is slick and expensive places just to show off and not for tasting real good food, then this is not for you. Stay away!
Awesome desi thali...lot of variety and Sunil will make sure you eat to your heart's content. The fulka chapati served fresh and hot shouldn't be missed.
The vegetarian one time try the tail is good . The morning breakfast and chat is also good in the evening . The staff is also good at the service.
They simply good.
Vegetarians and thali lovers might find this hole in the wall a good find. I did. Just walked by and thought let’s see what they offer. Well decor isn’t stunning and it’s a small joint so they rely heavily on the friendly service and good quality veg food they offer. Try the dinner time Gujarati thali which has very tasty items such as rajma, dal, cabbage and they were kind enough to substitute the potato gravy with pav bhaji. The dokla was quite good as well
Recommend to try this place out if looking for good veg options.

Amazing gujrati thali .. A small joint in oud mehta but tasty and delicious food . Their gobi aloo, dal and aloo sabzi is mouth watering . Tummy full feels good . Really worth it .
They have nice evening snacks... a good variety of desi savory snacks , like phapda, Namak para, salty chips, shakar para and I enjoyed the pani puri too. They don't have a very decent place to sit inside. Chai was good too
A small little Gujrathi restaurant which serves vegetarian thalis and chaats. I have tried their unlimited thalis before and for 20 aed they do offer quite a good spread.
This time around; we tried their misal pav where the spice level perhaps was toned down to suit the gujrathi taste buds compared to the mumbaiya version. However it was still good and very filling for just 8 aed. The dahi batata puri was awesome.
Seating may be a problem and ambience is average but will be on my list whenever I crave for a wholesome veg Indian meal.

I have had only Gujarati thali the last few times I visited this restaurant. A cute joint and the food is tasty. Since the seating is limited the place can get cramped during peak hours.
Food super. Ambiance is average. Service is fast and with love and care. They literally force feed you with love :). Try the koki paratha or take the traditional gujarati thali.

Most preferred restaurant in karama. And recommended
They are serving hot food from the pan
You can avail gujarati snacks from here
best Mumbai style pani puri and chat other road side chaatpata snacks...... amazing and cheap, must try this place if you will get parking around. try vada paho and ask them to make it spicy ;)
What a fantastic food 🤗
Value for money great service they will not let u you go without satisfying you. And this all cost only Aed 17
I guess all credit goes to the management specially owner.
Without fail try this place 😀
This is a small eatery. As it is newly opened in comparison to their Karama branch the appearance is fresh. Recommended for executives for a quick, economical lunch/dinner. The limited thali is AED 12 which serves 4 phulkas, daal, 2 curry and chaas. Nothing so great nor too bad. Easy to get parking.
Awesome food. last week i have been there with my boss and we ordered Thali, very good taste and quantity. highly recommended for vegetarians
Since I came in Dubai I was not able find out good place for Indian snacks, After long time I got the perfect place and I ate DHOKLA with coconut chutney, it was really yummy.
Himalaya is a rustic little, road-side style restaurant in the heart of Oud Metha unspoilt by modernism. It’s sister to the original of the same name in Karama. Stick to chaat and basic street food and this back to basics gem will delight you. Expect more and you run the risk of being disappointed. I loved the samosa, which was served with a highly explosive sauce loaded with chickpeas (oh God). The Pani Puri was exceptional, the filling far more substantial than what others use – it makes a bigger difference than I thought. I also enjoyed the (claimed) in-store made chana choor garam and ended taking home two bags full. But best of all was the service. Nephew of Gujrati owner L. N. Joshi was on hand to make me feel at home, tempting me with a little taste of this and a little piece of that. Even the little chaat man, running the show behind the street facing counter, made a fuss when making my Pani Puri. I like this place and will go back for more. Check it out if you’re in the area.
Visited very first time on last Thursday and tried pani puri, sev puri n Aloo paratha n khaman all food good n tasty
Would like to appreciate them for the way they make paratha, not like others ( more n thick atta and less aloo or other stuff )
I happen to pass by when I saw the live open chat corner. I ordered one pani puri and a bhel puri. It was very good and I enjoyed the food a lot. This place also has a good atmosphere and reminded me of India.
Food is really delicious and very light on stomach as everything you get is freshly prepared. Koki paratha and other items are simply great. Prompt Service as well home delivery.
Had my breakfast there. Ordered for Koki paratha (onion paratha), Puri bhaji and tea. The parartha was delicious and had a lovely crust. Dry pan fried gave it a rather crispy yummy texture. The puri bhaji was also good. Tea could have been better. A very small place more suited for home delivery or take away. Opened recently. The air conditioning was leaking a bit. Parking lot is close-by. They have a branch also in Karama. Unfortunately could not take pics. Will do so on next visit.
Very different its Samosas its veg bondas the chats I tried was dahi samosa little bit sweet but suited very well the masalas tried dahi poori and papdi chaat also
We had bittermilk served in jars tried ragada cholla dahi poori aloo parrotha and some nice tori with sabji
I was glad when I heard about this small joint opening its other branch in Oud Metha near Lamcy Plaza..We use to go to Karama Himalaya for Breakfast and Dinner (thali)
Now it's very near and we many times order thali ..Nice food, Nice people, one thali is enough for 2. I tried Fafda, Idly Sambhar, aloo paratha and Methi Paratha and everything was good...will keep going and try other items too
New place in Oud metha serving typical Gujarati food. The food was good and very simple, The roti were so soft that you keep eating it. Service was good and overall good experience.
Just Openednext to my residence. Swwets, Farsan and Samosas are excellent and fresh. Menu options are very limited right now as they have just opened. But whatever they have is well done.
So happy that himalaya is just next door... real treat for veggie food lovers . Love their food n most how their staff re polite n humble, loveling insisting you to eat more. Overall a pleasant treat ....loved it

A small joint for Gujrati cuisine, which offers comprehensive Gujrati veg options especially typical chats and pani puri.
The place is very limited in size for Dine in apart from that, the food is definitely worth a shot.
We had mainly snacks here like pani puri, bhel puri and samosa chat in 33.5 AED.
