I was having a celebration week for a birthday, so been exploring different desserts, as the birthday person has a major sweet tooth :)
Anyhow so my intent was let’s use this as an excuse to try new places for desserts and that too unlike me had to venture non chocolate stuff as the birthday person is not a choco freak like me. And that’s how I stumbled into Sukkar, which I’m glad I did..
Enjoyed a rich Pistachio milk cake, moist, juicy to the core, quite pistachious with some whipped cream and rose petal.
I would not dare have it alone, am glad we were 4 sharing a slice cos it can get quite overwhelming if ventured alone :)
I am a bit picky about my desserts but I can honestly say that the cakes I have tasted by Sukkar (Lotus cake and dark chocolate/blueberry) are DELICIOUS and have this fresh taste to them ... This place is my new favorite bakery!
Have been bored of all the leading bakerys for cakes so wanted to try anew one for a office friend.Came across sukar the staff was very helpful and sent pics of all cakes that are available on whatsapp.Tried the carrot and chocolate with blueberry.
Carrot cake was an instant hit it gives even hummingbird's cake a run for their money.Thechocolate had 50% dark chocolate ganache so does not suit all taste buds.

Ordered from sukkar for a company event of 20 people and the quantity was generous. In the pictures the pistachio cheese cake very delicious and highly recommended and for chocolate lovers is the Oreo and Maltesers cake.

I've only tried their milk cake (which was amazing) but everything on display looks great and I will definitely be back to try other items on the menu.
Love love love! Their Horlicks and original milk cakes are super yum and give competition to très lèches from La tablita! They have other flavours too including saffron.
Their rose Kunafa however is not the best, with a dry and heavy consistency, it feels like too much to finish.
Definitely will be back here for what they are known for- which is the yummylicious milk cakes.

A very tiny small khaleeji dessert cafe next to the Logma always been to logma but never been to SUKKUR specially so for dessert I went there this time and I loved the vibes I ordered the traditional Emirati qahwa and some cookies I wanted to have lgeemat but they said it will take some time so I changed my mind very highly qualified staff I loved the detailed menu and decided to order the cakes online aswell it’s a must visit cafe or you can just order online they have wide range of cakes definitely going again
Few days back I posted about Logma, they have presented a new go to place for all the dessert lover which is Sukkar (means Sugar). Sukkar have a concept of khalijee touch to all of their desserts. . I didn't know that Logma and Sukkar is by one group until I visited the Logma. They have done a great work of introducing the Emarati Cuisine to the expats and the tourist.
The milk cake was absolutely delicious! One of the best I had
Ohhh the chocolate blueberry cake - it’s got some serious layers of rich chocolate goodness, it’s the right amount of everything that leaves you wanting more. This is the cake that would get an approving nod and some ‘mmm..it’s so good’ comments while getting a little too excited to dig in for another slice.
And I must mention that I appreciate the straightforward response when the cake I ordered online was not available and I immediately received a call for an alternative option instead. I guess it’s a blessing in disguise - the cake was perfect, I cannot complain.
The classic cookies tasted amazing, but the pistachio latte reached cold to me, and it was all spilled over. But the other cakes are amazing, have tried almost all for my colleague’s birthdays at work.
Definitely a gem place for all desert lovers having a wide variety to of options.

A cute desert cafe at the box park. Honestly haven’t got a chance to return back to try more flavors of the milk cakes. But what we tried on our first visit was a rose milk cake. So yum, fresh and flavorful. The cake was moist and just melted in our mouths. Definitely a go to dessert place for me.

Definitely one of the best dessert parlors we have tried in a while. A very vast variety of desserts to choose from. They seem to focus more on baked cakes which is displayed beautifully at the desk. Keeping upto the name, Sukkar serves freshly baked cookies and whole cakes for both dining and delivery. The cookies are pretty sizeable, and is worth what you pay for. Their milk cakes appears to be very much on demand. Though the indoor dining hall is extremely tiny, you could opt the outdoor seating or at Logma restaurant since they are the sister company of Sukkar.
As a lotus biscuit fan, we ordered the Lotus Karak Cake. The cake was a unique milk & karak mix cake with biscoff spread and lotus crumbs along with biscuit on it, which tasted immensely delicious. The Snickers Speciality Shake is the must try here. Keeping up with price tag, the shake is gigantic in size and could fill up the tummy of four. The only negative was the peanut crumbs added to it was salty and it made no sense to us. But the shake tasted enormously good and definitely recommending it to try if you are here. The staff was very friendly and was swift with our take away.
Delivered on time even faster. I tired The saffron milk cake it was pretty good but a bit sugary and the rose mini cheesecake was waaaaaaayyy sweet for me.
Nice place .. small and tiny .. though it’s the other part of logma , but I love there everything .. the looks of the cakes makes you hungry ,. The taste of the logimat, and the Nutella will was amazingly tasty.. as I said the rest I just looked to them , next time will try more.. I recommend it so bad for desserts and a cup of Arabic coffee ..

Have tried the Rahash Cheesecake as well on a separate occasion and it's quite good but sill prefer the Kunafa.
Cake is their specialty so you really can't go wrong with this place.
I've heard people raving about their "Milk Cakes" so that's what we'll be trying next time ...
Super yum.. tried the kesar milk cake at it was just too good.. you could say its a modern version of indian ras malai.. it had perfect amount of sweetness and the first bite makes you speechless.... must try!

My friend and I tried the saffron milk cake and it was very good. The flavor of the saffron and the sweetness were very balanced and the milk cake is just so delicious. The lotus and pistachio lattes were just okay.
Best cake I have ever had... ordered for my dads 60th birthday through Zomato got a good portion of (1kg) Kunafa rose cake for a very reasonable price.. and got free home delivery as well

Sukkar means sugar and a slight variation means gratitude (sukhr). And the first will make you feel the latter. Delicate, rich and every bite resonates on your taste buds. The chocolate brownie is what we tried. Felt is was a little pricey but only till we had taken the first bite.
My colleague was invited by Sukkar to try their famous desserts n bakes n she asked me to accompany her as I am a sweet tooth. ;)

My brand new passion for milk cakes led me to this little gem in Box Park. I had seen the menu online and finally made a trip. I had the most amazingly delicious pistachio milk cake and latte. My friend tried the rose latte which she liked. We also ordered mini cookies for the kids. The only drawback about the place were the cookies weren't as soft and chewy. Definitely would reccommend it though for other desserts. Next time will try the rose latte, brownies and rose milk cake.

We ordered The tower, the nutella well, classic chocolate cookies and the Saffron milk cake.
THE DELIVERY:
The delivery guy came on time, exactly on time, must appreciate this delivery guy for his punctuality
THE TOWER:
There were 6, finger-length slabs of fudgy-cakey chocolate heaven, the texture was smooth and almost like a dense cake, however I'd say its too sweet for my liking, unless you have a stomach capacity of an elephant, you may be able to finish up one serving.
THE NUTELLA WELL:
Despite its name sounding extremely heavy, it was surprisingly light, and the least sweetest thing that we ordered. The cake was fluffy and moist and the ice cream pulled the whole thing together. If youre worried that it would be too heavy, Im certain you can finish up the serving all alone.
CLASSIC CHOCOLATE COOKIES:
Id describe this as a chocolate cake batter in disc form, which is not bad at all. it was a play of textures, The crunchy exterior which reminded me of a thinner m&m coating, and the fudgy middle played hand-in-hand. The chocolate flavor was there and the chocolate chips gave another element of texture, it was softer than the fudgy center of the cookie. I would highly recommend trying this cookie.
SAFFRON MILK CAKE:
This was my least favorite of them all, The cake had a nice soft and fluffy texture, just how you'd want in a milk cake but the intensity of the saffron flavor was way too much, almost off-putting, id prefer it with a softer flavor of saffron and something to cut the sweetness of the cake.

Here’s a new store dedicated to all the sugaholics. Sukkar which means sugar in Arabic is dedicated to bombard you with lots of sugar like never before. Sukkar’s tiny presence is a living example that size doesn’t matter. Here you have a bunch of tables fenced away from the main street by a drop-down bush so passers-by don’t cast an evil eye on the most beautiful Khaleeji and fusion creations you will be enjoying ducking behind the particularly leafy section of the bush.
The milk cake saffron procreation of imagination that is at once real and ethereal is a must for instant transportation into a world without worries. For it strikes the perfect balance of sweet, saffron, milk and goodness in that (never enough) spoon before being savoured.
Their cakes take on the biggest bakeries in town that claim to have mastered the art of cake making, for in size, looks and taste – Sukkar cakes are in the premium league. I would like to surprise a date, a business prospect or anyone who can do with some joy with a lot of great picks from this tiny shop with a big heart.
Recently visited Sukkar for a tasting and loved the variety of desserts they have on offer. The Nutella Well was my favourite and is a must try for all Nutella lovers! I also tried their famous insta worthy milk cakes which were delicious. Apart from that I tried the rose kunafa cheesecake and loved the unique combination. We loved the unique selection of cakes and decided to order the chocolate semolina coconut cake for my cousins birthday, it's super delicious and tastes a lot like Bounty Chocolate. Logma has always been one of my favourites and Sukkar is now added to the list! 💕
I loved the location and the decor of the place, I also found out it’s a part of Logma which is next door. The colors are very eclectic and fresh. The service is fast and the prices are very reasonable.

Box park is an interesting place that wouldn't seize to surprise you and certainly give you a touristy feel, instagramers paradise, offering it's visitors everything from diners, movies to shopping stores.
A lot of us know about and is our favorite Logma, severing wonderful emarati food. Most of us like their lugaimats, cheese sambosas and chebabs with ice cream.
Sukkar being the dedicated dessert section, is pleasant and welcoming.
Our host Me. Lorie took care of our visit to Sukkar with a warm smile and is very good at providing suggestions.
We ordered for lugaimats with caramel salt drizzle that came in no time, warm and spongy.
From the sukkar specialities menu we called for pomegranate chocolate tart slice, a wonderful combination in a perfectly baked tart shell.
I am head over heals for their puffs, specially the rose, blueberry and pistachio flavors. Do give it a shot. These puffs will fill you up with the perfect flavours and moderately sweet, certainly satisfying your sugar cravings, right texture and melt in the mouth feeling will not let you stop with one.
The star performer, king of desserts now in trend the Milk cakes are remarkably tasty and everyone's favorite at Sukkar. So try their saffron milkcake and coconut milkcake. Both of them will somehow take you back to your childhood or make you miss home. At least that happened with me. The portion size is perfect for two, thick and creamy, spongy yet in shape, soaked but not soggy, sweetness and the dedicated flavors hitting the right notes. This has to be a special dessert and can make anybody's day a good one.
I liked their orange cheese cake too, am not a fan of cheese cakes but this one's absolutely had me over it. Their pastry chefs are really skilled bring the best to their customers and leave the shop with content only to come back for more sooner.
The portion sizes of every dessert at Sukkar is generous, sufficient for minimum 2 persons and is worth the price.
They not just serve single portions of desserts but do make whole cakes suitable for any great occasion.
I firmly believe that a restaurant that serves good food combined with great service is the best one ever. Sukkar certainly made it to that list.

The place Is small and has some outdoor seating. Its adjacent to the ever popular Logma. I saw a lot of pictures of the various milk cakes on Instagram; that was definitely on my list.
We tried the pistachio rose and the Horlics milk cake. Since childhood I have hated Horlicks. But no more, the milkcake was delicious. There were cornflakes on the top and it added so much crunch to the dish. The portion size is huge and can be easily shraed between 2 people. We alo had brownies – raspberry and chocolate, they were delicious.
The rose kunafa cheesecake was my favourite, its something thing different and the flavours hit you. also get some tea along with your dessert.
I had a great time, I am sure you will too.
Sukkar – For all the dessert lovers, Sukkar is the right place for you to hog on the best desserts in town. I was pleasantly surprised to see such enormous dessert diversity under one roof. A small café style restaurant located in Box park right next to Logma. For better weather you can opt cute looking outdoor seating. The service is prompt and staff is always smiling. We started with their very famous SAFFRON MILKCAKE I simply loved every bite of it, rich & soft cake dipped in saffron milk, it is a must have.
Ah Sukkar, where have you been all my life! I recently developed an addiction to milk cakes and Sukkar is my favorite place in Dubai to get those. My only gripe with it is that the cakes don’t come cheap for me to try more than one :)
Made a special visit to this place just to try the much talked about Milk Cakes which are sweeping all the love on Instagram.
There’s a whole variety of milk cakes with different flavors infused into them.
After pondering quite a bit, I settled for the Classic Saffron Milk Cake [AED 45].
The portion is enough to fill 2 people, and the cake was soaked in flavored milk infused with Saffron making it soft and easily melts in your mouth.
For taste reference, fellow Indians would feel this tastes very similar to Ras Malai, just topped with Whipped Cream.
But it’s definitely more beautiful and insta-worthy!
I would love to come back to try the other plethora of desserts offered here and update this review!

I recently visited Sukkar for a Dessert tasting which I wanted to go ever since I saw them tasty posts on my wall! I surely don’t have a sweet tooth because I have sweet teeth 😛 😛. Let me share you a little back story about Sukkar to you guys! So, Sukkar is concept by Logma and they serve modernized Emarati and Khaleeji sweets. They have a lot delicious flavors in their overall desserts like, Rahash (Halawa – Sesame seed paste with sugar/honey) , karak chai, rose, saffron, pistachio, etc.
It’s a small place nicely decorated with super friendly staff located in box park .
To be honest I never expected this place to be that GOOD , they use only the best quality ingredient in their sweets and from my order I could tell .

Sukkar is a new innovative stand taken by Logma. It’s basically focused on providing you with all the main stream desserts of today in the most Emirati way possible and make you feel at home. Their menu has a wide range of options to select from. And after breaking our head, here’s what we tried out:
The word Sukkar means Sugar and the word just justice to it. Sukkar is known for its amazing collection of desserts. The restaurant is located right next to Logma which specialises in Khaleeji cuisine. I had such an amazing experience at Sukkar. If you have a sweet tooth then Sukkar is definitely the place for you. The location is just perfect with outdoor seating especially during this weather. The indoor seating is limited to just one table with 4 chairs.
Given the recent popularity of milk cakes, my friends and I were planning to visit Sukkar since quite some time just to try out the milk cakes.
We visited them over the weekend. It's conveniently located in Boxpark with ample parking space.
We ordered the saffron milk cake which was delicious! The flavors were perfect and it was totally worth the wait.
Looking forward the trying other flavors as well.

Recently along with my friend Dr.Manodip Acharyya , I visited this new dessert concept restaurant next to their sister concern of Emirati/Khaleeji cuisine restaurant Logma, at boxpark. Logma was a wonderful creation which is going from strength to strength.
Sukkar will also do well. Arabic name of sugar is sukkar. Also in Sanskrit- the Indian mother language , sarkara- is sugar.
The shop is having a very small place in front of the counter. Only one table and two chairs can be placed indoors. The counter showcases various types of cakes and colourful designed interiors. The pictures really do not do justice to the actual artistic forms of the cakes.
The outer seating arrangements are tastefully maintained surrounding the shop. During comfortable weather they are a good option to sit and enjoy desserts.
Coming to the items, they have sections of the traditional lugaimat which I have taken previously in Logma. Different toppings like nutella, lotus, milk chocolate etc. We didn't try them. Milk cakes are one of the most popular ones. He pistachio rose was our choice and the top item for us. Mildly sweet, soft and with distinct flavour of pista and rose, presented on a bed of rose milk, it was a delight.
Sukkar puffs or secrets as they were called, at 12-15 dhs apiece, the small puffs were stuffed with differently flavoured creams and tasted good. Nothing extraordinary though. I was given a giftpack of threes of these with a chocolate, mint and a vanilla flavour.
We tried the speciality coffees of Saffron and lotus latte @25 dhs each. Served in a glass of smallish size, they were soaked in marshmallows and decent.
They also had full sized milk and other cakes @240-270 dhs on pre-order.
The speciality shakes were gigantic @48 dhs and we didn't attempt to try them.
There were some sukkar specials in the menu, which were restricted for the guests of Logma, surprisingly. For example-Chebab Katayef.
My next favourite was a medium large dish of cookie crumble @45 dhs. Basically a crumble of chocolate cookies with generous amounts of nuts/almonds and nutella. But very nicely mixed.
Another favourite was the Pomegranate Chocolate Tart. It was a slice of hard chocolate base on biscuity cover and topped by pomegranate seeds. Very very picturesque and photogenic. Not so much in taste though stylish.

I was invited to try Sukkar and I'm so glad I did. I love desserts, at buffets I reduce the mains portions just to stuff up on desserts! The group behind Logma now present Sukkar (the Arabic word for sugar), a Khaleeji dessert concept.
We (A colleague and me) had to try some of their most famous dishes. We tried out-
1. Nutella well- A chocolate cake well, filled with chocolate sauce and topped with nutella, do not order this unless your really hungry! But it tasted amazing, the chocolate sauce inside goes really well with the vanilla ice cream.
2. Pistachio rose milk cake- This was the best item of the day! OMG! I loved it. The soft cake, sitting there in that syrup. Delicious! I could have eaten two of them, if I wasn't so full already.
3. Sukkar puffs- In saffron and blueberry flavor- Loved the blueberry flavor puff, not a big fan of the saffron one.
4. Lotus latte- Bitter coffee is just meant to be paired with lotus syrup and topped with marshmallows! yummy.
5. Orange brownie- Delicious again, the pairing of chocolate and orange goes really well.
Service was really good, not much space indoors but I guess that isn't really needed, since most are takeaways.
They also do whole cheesecakes and other cakes, with so many mind blowing flavors. I'm definitely buying them for birthdays!

Visited this place last night post dinner decided to have my dessert at this newly opened place right next to Logma . Ordered for the above mentioned desserts and they were great . My server Mitch was very friendly she ensured that the service is quick enough .
Lotus latte was disappointing as it was bitter but not strong & lastly the Nutella well was not even warm the cake needs to be warm in order to go perfect with the icecream .
Over all , Sukkar needs a bit of improvement rest everything else was perfect .
Logma, the gem located at Box Park, is the go to place for anyone craving or wanting to try Khaleeji and Emirati cuisine in the UAE and with good reason. We credit this restaurant for bringing the once unknown cuisine to the fore and introducing it to expats and tourists in an urban way and setting. The group behind Logma now present Sukkar (the Arabic word for sugar), a Khaleeji dessert concept and essentially Logma’s ‘sweet’ sister as we like to call it! With both restaurants adjacent to each other at the colorful, bustling Box Park, there’s no question that a visit to one will have you end up at the other one too (at least we can safely say that will happen to us whenever we visit). Sukkar boasts of cozy yet lively interiors and bright sweet treats on offer, and here is everything we had at the recent preview we attended:
I especially loved their seating outside and the soothing atmosphere. The staff is very attentive and sweet. We started off with hot chocolate, berry shake and lotus latte. I really loved the berry shake, the way it was presented and also how good it tasted. The hot chocolate was also great. The lotus latte i feel lacked the taste of lotus biscuits. It was more like a plain latte. We ordered the oreo lugaimat which was really a delicacy and must be tasted. The saffron milk cake was so pretty to see and so soft to taste. The bluberry mini cheesecake was one to die for. However, the bottom could have been less hard for it to be perfect. The chocolate puff was yummy too. The Nutella well was definitely a highlight, could be easily shared between 2-3 people. All in all, loved the concept of this particular dessert place. It is the dessert side of logma. I would definitely recommend people with sweet tooth to try out this amazing place.

We were invited by the restaurant to sample their new additions to the menu. These included, their new cream puffs, cheesecakes and brownies. Located in Box Park, this outlet, Sukkar, is the dessert special arm of the hot and happening local favorite restaurant, Logma. Full marks were given firstly because of the amazing Box Park vibe and the fact that the outlet faces the main road, thus making it easy to identify and approach. Sukkar on its own is a small to medium sized outlet, with the cutest interiors. Themed in baby blue and pink, you know they’ve got their quaint dessert identity on point. Due to space constraints, they have only one or two tables inside. Most of their seating is around the outlet, outside, but with plenty of shade this wasn’t a problem at all, we got to enjoy the wonderful weather and enjoy our tasting!

Sukkar is a newest addition to the Logma brand. Sukkar in Arabic means sugar, which is not very hard to guess for most of you. Its located in Box Park ,right next to Logma. If you are in Logma, you can order in for your desserts, or walk in straight to this tiny little hut next to it.Its a cute little space, where you can sit inside or outside and enjoy a cup of coffee/tea with a dessert.

Whenever I'm craving some Khaleeji food, Logma always comes to mind. We've tried it a couple of times and have always went home with happy tummies. Located just right next to Logma, is their sister concept, Sukkar. There's a limited seating area (only one table) inside a bakery-like setting; and a laid back al fresco dining area which is perfect during Dubai winter.
Sukkar means sugar in Arabic which is self explanatory to what it all offers! This is definitely a dessert heaven for sugarholics like me. Located in Box Park, the owners of Logma and Saj & Co. has welcomed a new concept of just desserts! You can indulge one of the finest Emirati traditional Lugaimat, cheese cake, shakes and milkcakes.
If you have an extra sweeth tooth like me, then a stop at Sukkar is must. It literally means sugar in Arabic. Sukkar boasts over 80+ variety of desserts with an Emirati touch.I managed to try quite a few. The small shop is located right next to the popular Logma on Box Park. Rose Milk cake – Right off this was my favorite of the lot. If you are a fan of rose, order this blindly.
As the name suggests, Sukkar is about all things sweet.
We tried a few of their desserts, and were impressed by the variety they have. It definitely is your go to place if you are craving something sweet.
Our absolute favorite was the Saffron Milk Cake, which was a super moist and flavorful cake laying in a bed of saffron milk, topped with fresh cream and saffron.
The brownies are another must have – we fell in love with the coconut brownie. It was fresh, soft and fulfilled all our chocolate cravings!
Pair your desserts with some fancy flavored lattes – we tried the saffron and the pistachio. As opposed to what we thought, they were not sweet at all and went perfectly well with the sweets.
Although the staff were very professional and helpful, but the service was a bit slow; that was the only downfall of this place.

My BFF Mazen invited me to join him in a tasting session at Sukkar. I knew beforehand Sukkar is a confectionery store but what I didn't know it's an Emirati sweet shop which takes pride in sculpting unique desserts with an Arabic twist.
We all love the cheesy comfort dessert kanafa - Sukkar has a kanafa cheesecake. We all love the sweet & chewy dessert Basbosa- Sukkar has a Basbosa cheesecake. We all love coffee & ice cream- Sukkar has a dessert where hot Qahwa (Saudi Arabic coffee) is poured over luxurious white vanilla ice cream in a glass giving our taste buds a remarkably special treat . Truly a gastronomical delight.
We all love Nutella & almost every cafe or restaurant serves Nutella dessert - Nutella has become a fabric of UAE society , the chocolate spread which makes any dessert appetizing - Sukkar has Nutella well which is a 11cm wide cylindrical freshly baked in-store brownie cake with hot melted Nutella inside & served alongside a huge scoop of vanilla ice cream. Mouthwatering divine.
The new trend in the city which never sleeps, Dubai, in the past few months has been milk cakes. Plain milk cakes & rose milk cakes are common. Sukkar ups their game with unique milk cakes - pistachio rose milk cake, hazelnut milk cakes, coconut milk cake , Horlick’s Milk cake & a milk cake I loved out of all I got to try - Saffron milk cake. The saffron milk cake is nectarous, rich in taste & pleasant to eat. The first bite which landed in my mouth brought a smile to my face. I loved it so much that I asked a saffron milk cake for takeaway & drove all the way to Sharjah to share a slice with my family who stay in the cultural emirates of UAE – Sharjah.
Apart from unique creations Sukkar has classic treats like chocolate tarts, blueberry cheesecakes, brownies, choco cookies, treats with lotus spread or snickers & shakes. For folks who don't have a huge sweet tooth Sukkar has small light small treats called Sukkar puffs - These puffs are easy to much on & are loaded with heavenly fillings like blueberry , rose , pistachio & plain vanilla.

Definitely a paradise for the dessert lovers!
My love for Logma is quite evident. So you could only imagine my excitement visiting it's Dessert branch!
Located right next to Logma, this place satisfied all my sugar cravings! 😁 They offer khaleeji treats and other desserts. Top on my list is obviously the 'Nutella Well' and I 100% recommend everyone visiting to try this one dessert. I also enjoyed my berry shake, rich and creamy and topped with lotus crumbles. Berry shake was very much a change I needed from the usual Chocolate/Snickers shakes. They offer mini cream puffs, light and sweet..in flavours including blueberry, vanilla, rose and chocolate. I loved the rose flavour. Another dessert I highly recommend would be the Honey Vanilla Crunch, one of their specials! Very light, crunchy and sweet..perfect for the ones looking for desserts other than chocolate.
I tried their slice of the day Pomegranate with chocolate tart..well..i didn't enjoy that much..it did not compliment my taste.
They offer fantastic milk cakes, lattes etc!
If you're around Boxpark you guys definitely have to stop by at Sukkar :)

Sukkar, a concept by Logma (also located in Box Park) serves Khaleeji sweets and other treats like cheesecakes, milk cakes, lugaimat and more, infused with ingredients such as saffron, rose, pistachio, and rahash to name a few.
I was invited for a review as they have launched the all-new Sukkar menu with delicious new items and flavors.
It was difficult to me to choose as every item looked delicious and it definitely was worth trying all!
I tried the following:
-Nutella well - which is a lava cake, prepared with Nutella off-course and served with ice cream. Made to perfection, it was just the right texture.
-Saffron milk cake which is an acquired taste and my favorite of all was the Rose milk cake which is prepared with rose milk sauce, light whipped cream, pistachios and dried rose petals.
- Lugaimat - I opted for the salted caramel and pecan nut which was divine. This is seriously one of those treats that you will not stop eating!
-From the Sukkar secrets, I tried the Sukkar puffs which are available in saffron chocolate, blueberry, rose, pistachio and vanilla. The puffs are filled with cream infused with all the different flavors mentioned.
- Also from the Sukkar secrets, I tried the rose Mini cheesecake. Decorated and carefully prepared with a rose infused flavor. The texture was somewhat like ice cream which made it even more delicious.
To drink I had the cardamom latte which was perfect on its own but not if you’re trying so many different flavors of cakes!
I highly recommend that you go hungry for dessert when visiting Sukkar. The flavors are incredible and each piece you try will leave you wanting more.
Also available are a variety of whole cakes for a special occasion.

Saffron milk cake - soft scrumptious cake on a spread of saffron milk with saffron sprinkled over . Too good to miss it
Nutella well- Molten dark chocolate with Nutella inside . If you are a Nutella lover this will not fail to impress you.
Cookie crumble- one of their best sellers too , the crumbles served with chocolate sauce caramel sauce and vanilla ice cream . Simply the best !
For drinks we had Lotus Latte- warm latte served with marshmallows, pretty good and Rahash which is a rahash cake, vanilla , whipped cream and pistachios shake . This was excellent
Apart from this we also tried the new on menu ,sukkar secrets
Sukkar puffs - available in 6 flavours and this is something unique , I tried the vanilla and pistachio and i quite loved it
brownie- tried the raspberry and coconut and simply superb
Mini cheesecake - had blue berry and chocolate , that was nice too
Overall it was a amazing overloaded sweet experience . Very pleasing staff and the super yum desserts ... I think this has to get on to your must try’s.
The last weekwnd was well spent at Sukkar. They are a dessert parlour only. They have a lot of international as well as local desserts. Here we had
A. Saffron milk cake - this is one of their specialities. I loved this out of the whole lot. Its a soft cake soaked in milk sprinkled with saffron. This is a must try for sure.
B. Nutella well - this was like brownie with ice cream. It was molten dark chocolate cake with nutella and chocolate sauce inside. Almond flakes, raspberries, vanilla ice cream and honey comb.
C. Salted caramel lugaimat - this is a local dessert. It was small balls of dough dipper in salted caramel sauce and pecan nuts.
D. Brownie pretzels - brownie with pretzels.
E. Snickers milkshake - didn't really like it. They have limited flavours for milkshakes.
Over all its am amazing place for dessert. Milkcake and logaimat being the must try here.

So glad they have an outlet solely for desserts as we have even more excuse to visit their main branches for delicious Khaleeji food while we come here to satisfy our sweet tooth! It’s a very cute outlet in Boxpark, stocked with their artisanal cakes and serving top notch desserts with amazing service. 1. Rose Cream Puff [AED 12] : This was a delicate little puff pastry topped with pink sugar and stuffed with rose flavored cream. A twist to the regular cream puffs we’ve all seen and had at some point. The highlight of this dish was the amazing flavor of rose that really stood out with the cream! It tasted luxuriously delicious.
2. Blueberry Cream Puff: Another variation of the cream puff, which comes in many other flavors as well, such as pistachio, chocolate and vanilla. The flavor of blueberries here was like literally biting into a bunch of fresh blueberries. A perfect evening snack, paired along with some freshly brewed hot tea, would set the evening right!
3. Kunafa Cheesecake [AED 28]: This Kunafa Cheesecake was kunafantastic! Above all, our favorite was that biscuit layer. It had an amazing flavor, that really grounded the sweetness of the kunafa. A perfectly balanced dish.
4. Pretzel Brownie [AED 15]: The brownie had the perfect texture that we expected. The taste was very different, yet was delicious! Worth trying out.
5. Cookie Crumble [AED 45]: Cookies and ice cream! Absolute love right here. To make it even greater there were even hazelnuts! Pure bliss! So this dish is served in a skillet shaped ceramic bowl. The cookie bits, as the name suggests, are crumbled at the bottom and mixed into it are hazelnuts, chocolate sauce and salted caramel sauce. Served with two mini scoops of vanilla ice cream, this dish proved why it’s another hit dessert at Sukkar!
6. Nutella Well [AED 48]: Served in a plate came a cylindrical shaped chocolate cake, topped with almond flakes, raspberries, and two triangles of honey comb. It was also accompanied by, the ever graceful, scoop of vanilla ice cream. As we dug our spoons into this cake, we noted its soft exterior ggive way to all that hot chocolate and Nutella to ooze out onto the plate and greet the ice cream.
A classic combination, amplified by the Nutella, this dish cannot disappoint! Also we noted the bits of honey comb, went superbly along with the chocolate taste. A popular favorite at Sukkar, this one is their top hot dish!
7. Horlicks Milk Cake [AED 50]: This milk cake was super soft and well soaked in the milk. The good ol’ Horlicks taste was subtle and perfect. The cake was topped with a handful of cornflakes which we really liked. Also, the crunchiness of the cornnflakes complemented the soft texture of the cake. Overall, it satisfies your taste buds with its amazing taste!
8. Saffron Latté [AED 25]: This was another first for us. The saffron latté was served with little bits of marshmallows on the top and garnished with saffron. The taste was absolutely perfect and was delicious!
9. Morrocan Tea [AED 24]: The Morrocan Tea was served in a delicate silver Arabic tea pot with two small glasses. The tea was perfectly brewed and hot, it was well infused with the traditional morrocan herbs and taste.
Fantastic service by the most courteous staff, Lorrie! We had a very comfortable experience, all our dishes came in reasonable time and all our needs were met.
Given the location, fabulous service, excellent ambience, and even more terrific choices of desserts and hot beverages and most importantly the quantity and quality of the food and drinks, this place makes every penny worth it.

If you have an extra sweeth tooth like me, then a stop at Sukkar is must. It literally means sugar in Arabic. Sukkar boasts over 80+ variety of desserts with an Emirati touch.I managed to try quite a few. The small shop is located right next to the popular Logma on Box Park.

This is one of the places you must visit when you want be on a sweet tooth mode . Located next to the famous Logma this place is only for desserts and serves varieties of khaleeji fusion sweets and shakes . We were greeted by the friendly staff and we chose to sit indoors as it was pretty chilling outside . Tried quite a variety .
Started off with
Saffron milk cake - soft scrumptious cake on a spread of saffron milk with saffron sprinkled over . Too good to miss it
Nutella well- Molten dark chocolate with Nutella inside . If you are a Nutella lover this will not fail to impress you.
Cookie crumble- one of their best sellers too , the crumbles served with chocolate sauce caramel sauce and vanilla ice cream . Simply the best !
For drinks we had Lotus Latte- warm latte served with marshmallows, pretty good and Rahash which is a rahash cake, vanilla , whipped cream and pistachios shake . This was excellent
Apart from this we also tried the new on menu ,sukkar secrets
Sukkar puffs - available in 6 flavours and this is something unique , I tried the vanilla and pistachio and i quite loved it
brownie- tried the raspberry and coconut and simply superb
Mini cheesecake - had blue berry and chocolate , that was nice too
Overall it was a amazing overloaded sweet experience . Very pleasing staff and the super yum desserts ... I think this has to get on to your must try’s.

I am a HUGE fan and a constant customer to Sukkar especially the one in Mirdiff.
Very tasty cakes but sadly I remove a star as the MCC branch customer service is at another level compared to the one in city walk. MCC branch are support friendly, nice and attentive, going there is a full treat for the mouth and soul while city walk branch is just for the food as the level of service is much lower
