I am a huge fan on South Indian food. The prices at this spot are very reasonable and the service was quick. We ordered the Dosa. They told us it was on of their specialities
Great taste , the sambar was a bit too sweet for my liking and the service was slow. After the waiter served me the dosa I had to wait five mins or more to find him again and ask for a Vada. Anyway the food won't disappoint you 👌.
One of the best place to have good food, good ambiance, best taste, must visit once. Little expensive but worthy. Amba vegetarian best for vegetarian food.
Amba is a typical Mangalorean restaurant, and I, thoroughly, enjoyed the food here. Nothing extravagant but just right; every food item was tasty and filling.
Amba has one of the best South Indian breakfasts you can get in Dubai. Though the ambience is not great, the food tastes excellent, and the servers are very friendly. Must try :)

Very good restaurant to have taste of South Indian food. We order food from here for our office breakfast and they have variety like Vada, Idli, Dosa, Poori Bhaji, mini Tifin . Good in taste and quality wise it’s perfect

Wanted to try some vegetarian restaurant so visited this restaurant for dinner as I didn't wanted to have heavy food ordered Idly sambar....Idly was really very soft n i liked it very much as sambar also good taste....They have amazing pure vegetarian food the real taste of Mangalore.... Want to try some more Mangalore dishes..... Very friendly staff... Not a great ambience but it's ok....
I really like their dosas. They smell of ghee and taste fantastic. The sambar and coconut chutney are nice with the dosa. Not tried anything apart from the dosa.
Nostalgic food out here for me and my family and lovely neighbors & school teachers of past .. lived in Frij Murar as a kid.. Vada Sambar and many others! Been there few months ago with my dad who took us there as kids. Still the same great place.. wish it remains forever!

Ordered one ghee paper masala dosa and one poori bhaji. The dosa was crunchy, the sambar and chutney was a perfect mix to have along with it. The poori was good too.
this place has been my love since my childhood. I used to dine in and also order from this place for a really nice authentic south indian meal. Right from their dosas to idly to their crispy vadas, I still feel the aroma of these dishes going around me. I miss you Amba!

If you are hungry and looking for Indian vegetarian hotel to eat in deira this is the place. They provide good quality food but they take a lot of time to deliver your food (dine in). But you won’t feel anything about the time taken when the food arrives coz it’s good really good.
So, this is a vegetarian restaurant in Old Dubai (behind Al Futtaim Mosque in Frij Murar). I have been visiting this place for more than 4 years and must say, love their South Indian food. Mysore Masala Dosa is my favourite. Also, a must try is their Paneer Butter Masala with their really soft chapatis!
Have not been there personally but I ordered full Thali once. Delivery time was an hour during Friday.

Very reasonable and tasty food. The taste is very diff fem other restaurants its a proper aunthentic south indian taste. The prices are very cheap and its a quantity and quality food.
It's a small eatery with karnataka type food, behind al futtaim mosque . Have visited this place once but mostly ordered through home delivery . They have family seating area although clean but no appreciable interiors. They are quick with delivery and food is hot and fresh with well packing

This place reminds me of my old connection with karanataka..the home of the perfect masala dosas.
Must try here are the Mysore Masala Dosa with a layered spread of red garlic paste inside...simply yum!
Another dish which attracted my attention is the Bisi bele bath.
Ghee masala dosa is also quite good and big too!
My saviour in the mornings...I can lean on it for my south Indian set breakfast...the mini tiffin comes wid a big heart...the packaging cud make it an award winner...
Visited Amba after almost 20 years and things are pretty much the same! The taste and quality of food is authentic South Indian and the prices are easy on your pocket. The Mini Tiffin was really feeling and their Idli, Dosas and Uttapam tasted really good.

This is our most favourite place to have breakfast. Being from Udupi/Mangalore originally we have a thing for places that have 'buns' and 'goli baje'. If you go on a Friday morning it's very very crowded. And that shows that the place is FAB. Apart from mangalorean snacks we have tried their vada, idli , poori and variety of dosa. All are extremely good. The service is quick and the restaurant is very clean.
Customer of this restaurant since 24years.. Standard and quality superb all these years improving year by year. Have tried almost everything on their menu I suppose. Their speciality porotta kurma available on Sunday and Wednesday. Eagerly await either of these two days just to order porotta kurma. Dosas are crispy and yummy. My personal favourite being Rawa roast, ghee roast and mysore masala roast. Onion uthappam is also a must try. The chutney is perfectly spicy and sambhar authentic manglorean taste. Dahi vada is sweet and soft. Home delivery is really quick. The staff are very courteous. Very accessible and one of the best vegetarian pocket friendly restaurant in our area.

Visited this place early morning for breakfast . I was craving for South Indian food so landed over here . Had paper masala dosa which costed me just Dhs 10/- . It was freshly prepared and served within 5 mins . It also had sambar , coconut chutney . It was as always lovely very much enjoyed it .
Favourite south indian food since childhood. Nothing beats their sambar. Really different from others. Our fridays are incomplete without amba breakfast. Super awesome food and quality. They deliver home quite fast also.
Tried their food and really liked it. This is a sister concern of venus restaurant so i guess dats the reason why the food tastes so similar

This place needs no introduction. Excellent place for dosa, vada, idli. Try their rava idli. Their thali is also good. Excellent delivery time. For thali i would suggest go to the restaurant.
Ordered home delivery using zomato online ordering.. awesome food.. piping hot at delivery..perfect for South Indian vadas,idli etc.. can't wait to order again..

The only place that serves sambhar vadai only when it is soaked properly or else they say not available.
All other restaurants just pour sambhar over vadai and say sambhar vadai.
the only place that says delivery will be delayed but always promptly delivered. Best Udupi food .
Very good food. The staff was very friendly . The sambhar was very delicious. Also a special mention of the red chutney. Nice quite ambience with old hindi music in the background. Value for money food. Will surely come back. :)
This restaurant in Naif is highly used...however not reviewed as much...being focused on budgeted menu
However this is a must restaurant for all south Indians....in years it has lots its little charm and service...

One of best north thali i had .taste was really good . Soft and fresh chapati and include kind of coconut chutney its really tasty. Curry also taste good .Reasonable price . Friendly staff and maintained hygiene.

Had a Taali. Medium spicy food, which can easily savor to everyone’s tummy. Reasonable pricing. Very neat and clean place. And customer friendly staffs as well.

This is one of the best south Indian style VEG restaurant with high level of ambience in Dubai Deira area.
Had a mini thali tasted very good , it is filled with lots of variety and it is definitely value for money.
