مطعم كوري لذيذ
MsK

(التعليق الأصلي) One of the authentic Korean restaurants where you can enjoy genuine Korean foods such as bibimpa or kimba. The calm but warm-hearted hospitality of staff here are the charms on top of delicious foods. If you crave for Korean BBQ around this area. You cannot miss this place!

(تمت الترجمة بواسطة Google.) خدمة جيدة وفريق عمل ودود لكنهم بحاجة إلى تحسين طعامهم خاصة الكيمتشي والجالبي والطعام باهظ الثمن بعض الشيء. (التعليق الأصلي) Good service and friendly staff but they need to improve their food specially kimchi and galbi and food is a bit expensive.

Dump dump dumplings , chicken dumplings.<br/>Made differently but enjoyed the taste .<br/>Quick tiny dip in soy would enhance the taste .<br/>Happy exploring

Great food, Great Service Thanks to MOE for accommodating us.

Love the beef rib soup and seafood pancake . BBQ is good too. I wish they can accept online ordering via apps though . One of my favourite Korean restaurants in Dubai for sure !

Gangnam will now be our go-to place for authentic korean food 👍

That’s why we ate here because we wanted to feel the korean bbq experience but they gave us 1 dish to be grilled because of their exhaust issues. I do not like their rice. Not going back. There are more nice and affordable korean bbq in Dubai.

This place is so good, words are not enough to describe how delicious the food is. The service is fast and the staff are very helpful. It's a bit pricey but if you love food as much as I do(and I live for food) then you won't mind that much.

been to this restaurant with my friend since we wanted to try some new dish. The lady who served us wasn't of help when we asked how we could eat it. the servers and the guy (who looked like a chef). We ended up watching an online tutor video on youtube on how to eat the Hot pot the right way. the food was okay or maybe we didn't know the correct way to eat it. Thank you for the wifi though. wouldn't really recommend it if you aren't familiar with the food

Our go-to place whenever we crave Korean foods from watching mukbang and korean dramas.. good service/staff and excellent dishes.  <br/>Must have: seafood pancake, beef bibimbap, champong, jajamyun, kimchi jiggae and marinated short rib.

Very authentic Korean food. Came back from a trip to Seoul and missed the food like crazy so was super happy to stumble upon this hidden gem! <br/>The staff are lovely and service is prompt. <br/>Food was great too! Lots of great veg options for me and my usually fussy parents loved the food too. Been here multiple times and will continue to go!

I absolutely loved the food, everything we ordered was delicious, fresh and flavorful. My first time eating Korean food so I cannot compare, however considering it was my first time it was a make or break experience. Absolutely fallen in love with Korean food. It now ranks top on my favorite cuisine.

My 3rd time in Gangnam and is still pleased with their service and menu. Although we would really like to order their BBQ grill menu last night (unfortunately there was no meat delivery that day)we just opted for the Haemool Jeongol<br/> (Sea food pot), Tteogbokk-I<br/> (Rice cake in spicy sauce) and Dalg Gangjeong<br/> (Deep fried chicken in sweet and spicy sauce). Dishes were still consistent and you would feel the Korean vibe inside the resto as they are showing Korean series on their TV displays. I have always love my experience with Gangnam and consider this as one of my favorite go-to Korean resto.

Tucked away in a small corner in Oud Metha is this tiny little Korean food treasure!! If you haven’t tried Korean barbecues.. this is the place !! Every table has a built in barbecue grill which is so convenient especially if your like me... ain’t a bbq expert!! You order ur choice of meat and grill away!! We ordered our usual starter which was the Kimchijeon (Kimchi pancake) it’s the right amount of heat n spice for the palette, then we moved on to Dolsot Bibimbap (sticky rice n veggies, your fav meat or chicken with a good looking egg on top served in hot stone) I personally love this a lot coz the food remains nice n hot 😍 and sooooo yummy!! And finally the bbq we chose was Saeng Galbi (short ribs)🤤 this place is total comfort food experience and the portion sizes are shareable as well. You also get a variety of sides dips that makes your taste buds wanting more!! Definitely wallet friendly!! Highly recommend this place!!

As a Korean food lover, we never stop looking for new places to dine with. Stumbled upon Gangnam while surfing the net and decided to visit and dine. It is not located in fancy place but what matters most is the taste.<br/><br/>Very authentic ingredients, large servings, good value for money and very fast service.<br/><br/>Must Visit!

Tried bbq la galbi and cchampong with hubby! Im so disappointed with bbq, small amount of meats because its all BONE! Champong is great! But the way of service is very uncomfortable. They’re on a hurry to cook the barbecue, they want to turn off the burner even the meat is not cook! This is the first and last time.

Excellent Korean dining, with signature dishes that bring out the best of what this country has to offer.A gastronimical delight for a world traveller. Pricing is on the higher side of things though the daily combos are perfectly suited to a middle class wallet. Bursting with flavour and freshness in preparation make this an A grade restaurant par excellence.

In Oud Metha, there are lots of exotic food shops and restaurants. This is the proof that you can find good non-Middle Eastern restaurant around this area. This Gangnam is not an exception. Genuine taste of Korea can be enjoyed. I ordered Bibimbap which was very nice and some assortments of Kimchi came along together.

Food's great! Jjampong is on point and tasted the same as what we had in Korea. The Jajangmyeon tho is a bit sweeter compared to what I had before. I ordered Rrabboki as well but I found it too pricy for AED 70. with an additional AED 20 for just the noodles when the Tteokpoki alone already costs AED 50. The fried chicken that we had was not that satisfying compared to what we had the 1st time we visited. Then crunch is perfect however the taste was a bit bland.

I tried many korean restaurants in dubai and this one has the best food out of them.<br/>The only problem is the service is not that fast/good. But it’s not that bad either it’s just fine. So i would totally recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants to try korean food.

I just finished lunch at the Gangnam.  The food is genuine Korean.  I spent 15 years in Korea and my wife is Korean so I should know.  The side dishes were average and they didn't go out of there way to refill them.  The service was almost non existent.  The owner and chef are Korean, but the waitresses appear to be from the Philippines.  If the the service was better, I may have been able to give it a better overall grade.

i came here tonight having bbq by myself. totally disappointed by the service. this is not my 1/2/3 times here to be fair usually the staff are nice but that young white filipino looking girl was giving me a lot of attitude tonight. i finished all the veggie before the bbq meat so i asked for more as veg is usually free to add in a korean bbq. she came back giving me 4 tiny leaves, bare hands. i told her these are not enough please give me more. she walked away and ignored my request. pressed the bell she walked pass not wanting to stop. this was the 2nd time i asked her to replenish the veg. she came back, putting the same 4 or 5 tiny tiny leaves on her tray, without any plate under, just on the tray and put them in my empty basket bare hand again and with a very disrespectful 'sigh' she made. this is the very first time i felt so disrespect and uncomfortable in this restaurant. despite the food is good and other staff are nice, i am not coming back again anymore.

Tried the korean bbq here and I am very disappointed. Tried it once and never again, service is really bad, place is also bad.. I am really sorry but I cant write anything good in this restaurant.

The best Korean culinary in town. Cozy place with very nice services. We do always get here in the weekend to have bulgogi and other meals. They have also daily meal in package.

Enjoyed food, nice service, friendly staff and traditional Korean food.<br/>My fiend was a veggie...so tried bimbimbap veg i stead of beef...even that was awsome😍

Food was decent, service was hmm, rude. I visited Gangnam for iftar this Ramadan. They don't give dates or water, which was a little bit of surprise. Opened my fast with kimchi and water. <br/><br/>It was difficult to place my order since the staff was busy and didn't really listen or comprehend. I had ordered a bunch of dishes, for the kimchi fried rice, I had said that I don't want the fried egg that the rice is topped with. When the food arrived the egg was there, I removed it. The rice itself was actually pretty good, I liked the taste of the sour kimchi. The kimchi jeon pancake here was quite different, it's the thinnest pancake I've had, one time order at best since it was very dry.<br/><br/>Then, I was told that the bulgogi is not available for BBQ and that it'll come prepared from the kitchen. <br/>The main reason I visit Korean restaurants is to grill the meat myself, I like it to get a good caramelized char but as long as it tastes good, I'm ok with that. The bulgogi comes from the kitchen, it's in a stew form but still dry, I found that odd. I ask the staff if it could be cooked more or grilled again, I get a quick no and the server runs along, looking annoyed. The thing is the restaurant wasn't even that full. <br/><br/>Here we have me and a stew of chewy bulgogi and my phone. I upload pics to my instagram stories (not even my insta page), their social media staff replies on DM to stop posting about their restaurant like this. <br/>Cut to us paying the bill, a lady walks over, doesn't introduce herself nothing, says you're the one from instagram right? I say yes and she says was the bulgogi undercooked? I was like not exactly but it does taste dry and has a slight raw feeling. I add that I asked the servers to re-cook it but they said no. Instead I get a lecture over how this is how authentic bulgogi is served and not the touristy method that I'm used to. Note I only posted about how the bulgogi wasn't good, I said that the other things were fine. <br/>Now my sister and I are sitting there, wondering why we decided to even visit. <br/><br/>Disclosure: this review was paid for and initiated by me. As always my opinions are unbiased and honest.

Nice ambiance. Great service. Good food. <br/>Serving size, for sharing. Price vs serving size, average for Korean restaurants. Tastes authentic Korean.

Authentic Korean food... but I am searching for other korean dishes on menu list. very few selection. I search for chicken dishes such as grilled, fried or any but not in your menu.

Went there yesterday for the first time. The place was clean, and nicely decorated. Each table was separated from the other, giving you privacy.<br/>The food was exquisite. We ordered Tteokbokki, JJanjangmyun, Yukgaejang, Marinated short rib, and Chicken. Everything was good - the soup was a bit spicy though.<br/>They also give you tons of side dishes, the kimchi was really good!<br/>The staff are super nice and friendly, and the food arrived quickly. If you're into Korean food and culture, I would totally recommend Gangnam.<br/>감사합니다 ㅅㅇㅅ

My favorite Korean restaurant in Dubai! Best place to get your fix of soups, noodles, and casseroles. It truly hits the spot, especially on those rare cold rainy days. <br/><br/>The banchan (small "appetizers") is always on point and delicious! You get a nice variety. <br/><br/>Food portions are generous and very filling. Their ala carte, BBQ and appetizer food options are also excellent. <br/><br/>Staff is super attentive and friendly. The place has a very homemade feel to it which is nice, and always busy and buzzing with happy well-fed customers :)

This is one of the best Korean restaurants in the UAE. They have great service and the food is absolutely amazing. I will continue to go here. If it's your first time with Korean I would advise their octopus pasta and marinated beef short rib (this is a must have at any Korean restaurant).

I've searched high and low for a really good decent Korean restaurants, cooked by Koreans themselves.<br/><br/>I've tried at least 6-7 different "Korean" restaurants in Dubai and I must say, GANGNAM beats them all! I go back up to 3 times a week because I've finally found one that is closest to real Korean food. Place is small and cosy, going in groups bigger than 4 pax is going to be challenging unless you call them beforehand. Communication can be quite a problem unless you know a little Korean or ask to speak to one of their Filipino servers.<br/><br/>Highly recommend their haemool jeongol (absolute must, but it's a huge portion so make sure you're sharing it with at least 3 pax), dakgalbi (super large portion, so it's for sharing too and it's spicy so take that into consideration when ordering), yangnyum galbi (absolutely delicious), and tong dalg (finger licking good)!<br/><br/>Prices are reasonable for the quality of food and portions. I'm glad to have stumbled upon this gem and have never looked back. If you're inspired to do some Korean cooking, there's a tiny but well stocked Korean supermarket opposite.

Had to try Korean for the first time so wasn't sure where to go .. I Zomatoed and found that this place looked decent .. <br/><br/>The place in itself is decent , we were aerated and the order taken , the staff was very helpful and polite .. <br/><br/>We ordered salad in a hot bowl - which is essentially being cooked while it sits in the table .. tastes good .. would definitely order again <br/><br/>Soup was nice , but the highlight was the Korean style BBQ Beef which was cooked in front of us and we were also cooking it .. this was accompanied by a lot of curries and pickles .. <br/><br/>Overall a definite experience to have

Good food<br/>Great ambience <br/>Friendly staff<br/>Had a good time overall at this restaurant. Will definitely be coming back! <br/>Tried the spicy marinated chicken with vegetables and spicy kimchi soup. Was definitely surprised with the amount of spice in the dishes. First time trying Korean food and definitely not the last.
Tarek Elhusseini
Last I visited the quality went down with change of ownership and is less of authentic Korean tradition where they change side dishes constantly and being hospitable .<br/>I am disappointed and would not recommend it.

I place to relish Authentic Korean food. Sea food options are amazing. One portion is sufficient enough for two. <br/><br/>Nice ambiance, well organized and very well behaved staff.<br/>Surely a place to be recommended and revisited.
Farid Salimpour
The place exceed expectation and give you an authentic Korean dine-in vibe. Service is quick which is great. The food had a good taste to it. I ordered a korean beef bbq. They however lacked the appetizers to go with the meal. But over-all food taste is great

Been here only once and I would definitely come back and recommend this to my friends. Awesome place and great authentic Korean food. <br/>You get your money's worth of food. You will not regret coming here.

Probably the most authentic Korean spot in Dubai. Excellent food and friendly staff!<br/>Awesome spot. Definitely recommend it for Korean food lovers !

This is one of the best authentic korean food restaurants in dubai, been there 3 to 4 times till now and never been disappointed. they serve some really good food there. a must try place if you would love to try different countries cuisines. The must try dishes out here are japche(Glass Noodles),Kimchi Casserole,Dakgalabi,Bokk-eum bab(which is there fried rice ) the presentation of dishes is very good, and also the cold appetizers which they give along with the food are also very good.
Aisha Al Jeziri
Found it by chance while exploring the area, I loved how welcoming they were, offered me a free Mango Chum Chum which was yummi.. Base of Rasgulla topped with Fresh Mango Cream and Fresh Mango slices!! I couldn't resist seeing the Dhai Pouri and not ordering it.. "Not sure how this post cane here hahaha"

Gangnam is a Korean delicacy restaurant located near Lamcy Plaza, Karama. The owners and servers were both Korean. <br/><br/>Most of the customers were Korean excluding myself, my sister and two other Filipino couples. <br/><br/>The restaurant was decorated to look like a traditional Korean restaurant with private rooms and buzzers by the table. Each table also had an inbuilt grill to cook meats like Bulgogi. <br/><br/>My sister having eaten Korean food before recommended Kimbap (Korean sushi) Tokbokki, (rice cakes with sweet-spicy sauce) and Deopbab ( rice with squid). <br/><br/>We were also served 6 side dishes along with our main dish. <br/><br/>The food was really good if you like sweet and spicy flavoured dishes. Kimbap was a roll of pickle, carrot, cucumber, sausage and egg wrapped in seaweed and rice. P<br/><br/>Being an avid Kpop and Kdrama fan it was exciting for me to taste the dishes I so often see in the dramas and shows 😁 <br/><br/>The dishes were quite pricey probably because most of the ingredients are imported. <br/><br/>It was a good experience!
Veronica
A pretty decent and authentic Korean place in a quiet corner in Oud Metha. Nothing so special really, and the food was quite pricy. <br/><br/>Ordered the following:<br/>1. Gimbap (Korean Sushi Tuna) - was not so bad but not so good either. Kinda bland.<br/>2. Dolsot Bibimbab (Beef Bibimbab in Hot Stone) - This was okay. Had veggies, seaweed, beef, egg, etc. Better eaten with chilli paste. <br/>3. Bok Eum Bab (Stir Fried Rice with Seafood) - Liked this one the most, very tasty with just the right amount of spices. <br/><br/>Ambience is good. Staff are friendly. Would go back some time.

Amazing food, I've tried other korean restaurants before, and this is so far the best. <br/>Friendly staff, served us even though it was about time to close, they helped us pick the food and they were informative.<br/>I'm going there again for sure, and bring my friends next time.<br/>If you ever wanted to try korean food, totally recommend this for you.

Tried the Korean BBQ tonight with some appetizers and Seafood Pancakes ... DELICIOUS !!! 😍😛🍲🍤🍚<br/>The Kimchi was really good and the marinated beef was so tasty ! <br/>The staff is really welcoming and helpful. The waiter guided us to make sure we enjoy our dinner. <br/>Definitely recommend it 👌🏼✔️

I can't say enough good things about Gangnam. <br/><br/>The staff is great, the food comes out quick and fresh, presentation is awesome, and there is something for everyone whether you want to try something like eel or stick to basics like beef and chicken.<br/><br/>I recommend Gangnam to anyone who asks about Korean restaurants in Dubai and is one of, if not my favorite restaurant in Dubai. Me and my friends come here almost weekly and will continue to do so.<br/><br/>Recommendations for people's first time: <br/>Gimbab (Korean Sushi), Japchae (Glass noodles), Bibimbab (Rice bowl in a hot stone), Bulgogi (marinated beef), and Dalg Gangjeong (Sweet and Spicy chicken)
Ellyn
Had dinner at Gangnam last night with my friends. We ordered japchae, gimbab, and bulgogi. Japchae noodles were a bit soggy . bulgogi is good and the meat is oh-so-tender! The serving of gimbab amazed us. The side dishes are delicious! Food is tasty at a reasonable price. We'll definitely come again.

Thought I'd try Gangnam for dinner last night, and I wasn't left disappointed. Although I have no real benchmark for authenticity as I've only dined at three Korean restaurants, judging from the fact that 90% of Gangnam's clientele were Korean, they must be authentic. The staff and management were Korean too. The service was quick, and our waitress was polite, jovial and kind enough to help us as she could tell we were novices when it came to placing our order. The restaurant is fairly large, well lit, with wooden panels separating tables and a button to beckon the waitress over, and it was filled with the buzz of Korean conversations from other tables. The menu was printed in Hangul and English and each table had a mini stove which was to be used depending on the dish being served. We were served six bowls of vegetables as appetizers; a very hospitable gesture. We ordered the Dolsot Bibimbab in a hot stone (with chicken), the Champpong noodles with spicy mixed seafood (very similar to a Ramen) and the Nakjt Ojinyuhh Bokk Eum with stir fried squid which had a sweet aftertaste to it. I enjoyed every dish. The squid, shrimp and octopi are frozen, as is the case with most restaurants in a country which imports most of its seafood. The meal did not set us back a significant sum, although there are options on the menu for some expensive sushi and sashimi as well. I would urge Gangnam to add a few traditional beverages to the menu as well, possibly some hwachae, sikhye and other eumcheongnyu.

I've been to this resto (Gangnam) twice, and I must say it is such a nice place, in terms of the interior design, the ambiance is quiet and relaxing. Staff and owner (whom I met one time) are very accommodating.. they serve a sumptuous food and the portion is quiet big for a single person, which is really great! Overall, I had a great experience with them resto. Keep it up!

Went there for my belated Birthday celebration with good friends. The ambiance was nice, the crew is also good. The food is great. <br/><br/>Over all I love it! Korean food is love love love. Definitely will be going back again with my husband.

The ambience was okay. Not much of restaurants nearby specially any of its kind - Korean that is. The decor was excellent - wooden walls and dividers, each table had that button you'd press to have assistance. It was truly a nice place to visit once in a while if you'd like to chill to the quiet and hear Korean conversations randomly from across the tables. <br/><br/>Service was amazing. The staff were very courteous in all levels of courteousness. Of course they knew we weren't very much familiar with the dishes so they helped us with ordering. They were patient and polite which I extremely love. <br/><br/>We ordered a few - it's embarrassing not able to say what they're called but I honestly don't remember. I loved the flavour of each dish we got. Each having a pinch of sweetness and yet that kick of spicy. One thing I really loved was the rice - best rice I've had! <br/><br/>Price is costly though very much worth it. Servings were very generous - a meal could honestly feed 2-3 people. <br/><br/>Appetizers! Kimchi! Oh my goodness! We had three refills of kimchi. It tasted so good that the lovely waitress had prepared a take away of the kimchi. We didn't even have to ask! Now that's good service! <br/><br/>I love this place! Surely coming back! Would definitely recommend this restaurant to friends. Truly deserving of 5 if not even more! <br/><br/>Excellent!

Used to stay in Oud Metha when the opening plans for Gangnam were announced. Sadly, before it opened I had moved to another location, but always wanted to visit. Finally got a chance and drove all the way to Oud Metha for Gangnam and I must say, it was quite an impressive experience. Ordered Korean Sushi, they had cooked Tuna, but it tasted great nonetheless. The portions were big enough for two people. Quite steeply priced, but worth the experience and the taste. <br/><br/>Highly recommended!
Ariesta Ningrum
Been eating here twice and all we ordered is marinated beef and lamb ribs for BBQ. It was such an experience having korean style BBQ on your table.... We also ordered the famous Abalone soup for snack (aww its very expensive, Considering its size! )<br/>The BBQ is good, the waiter helping us arrange the meat and cutting them in piece. We also got a lot of side dishes as well, very complete just like in their Drama :))<br/>The Abalone soup is good as well (just like in the drama) hahaa<br/><br/>This was such korean experience and we surely be back again if we miss them one day!!<br/>
Samir Tuladhar
I have been here twice now. But for the two times i came i ask for yang galbi they say they don't have it. The ambience is nice. Its nice place to visit but some dishes are mention but cannot be available. If they could provide wat is asked for i will be happy to be here more

Went to Gangnam recently eager to try Korean food. First off, the staff was extremely pleasant and patient, willing to explain what the dishes contained to us. <br/><br/>Dishes we ordered: Gimbab (Korean Sushi) and Bibimbab (Rice with veggies).<br/><br/>We were pleasantly surprised by the large portions served to us (the Gimbab platter, especially, is huge. 3 of us could not finish the 22 pieces we got, but packed them up as takeaway). This is one of the very rare restaurants where the food served looks similar to the photographs in the menu. We ordered the bibimbab because of how good the photo was in the menu and were not a bit disappointed when it was brought to us. The waitress told us it is best to mix in the sauces before eating and did it for us. We absolutely loved how it tasted. <br/><br/>I didn’t like the Gimbab very much, but that is solely due to the presence of crab, which I am not a huge fan of. However, my mom who really likes crab loved it. <br/><br/> <br/>The condiments served also deserve special mention. Personally, I felt the tofu <br/>was a standout among them. I used to find tofu pretty tasteless before and was surprised that they made it taste so good. Loved the seaweed soup as well. Being Indian, I never considered seaweed to be edible so I was hesitant to try it at first, but now I am beyond glad that I did. <br/><br/>Overall, really impressed with the food, the staff and the ambiance. It is especially recommended to those who want to try Korean food for the first time, purely because how helpful the staff is in helping you decide what to order and telling you what is the best way to eat it. Dining here was an extremely pleasant experience and we will go back very soon.

I must say we are avid customers of Gangnam restaurant . We really love their bibimbap. It's very authentic. Also their unlimited side dish. <br/>It's really nice to have a Korean Restaurant near our work place. 👍👍👍

Opa Gangnam style!!! We celebrated my husband's 31st birthday over Korean food and we enjoyed it very much. The Haemul Pajeon (seafood and spring onion pancake) was so good, I can finish one order all by myself. The smell of the spring onion is intense but the pancake was fluffy and flavorful. They served about 6 side dishes which is just perfect for the grilled marinated ribs. Get a lettuce, wrap the meat, put garlic, dip, eat and repeat! I just love it! <br/><br/>I also enjoyed the Champpong (noodle with spicy mixed seafood soup), I asked them to make is less spicy than the usual serving so Mom can eat. The Bibimbab (rice with mixed veggies) stayed hot till we finish, I think the hot stone serving dish is a bright idea. I want to buy one for home use. 😊 <br/><br/>Thanks Gangnam for an unforgettable korean food experience, my family and I enjoyed your service and food. <br/><br/>

Gangnam restaurant reminds me of the famous Gangnam style song so I was curious to try.<br/><br/>The food is nice, not bad, up to a standard of a Korean restaurant in Dubai, although there are many other Korean restaurants that offer the same or better. I like their menu presented in the clear pocket, which is clean and shining. The not-so-good point is that I find their menu is quite expensive as compared to what you get from the dish. I hope they can look into this.<br/><br/>The waitresses are friendly but they cannot communicate well in English. They are Korean, I guess. That made the ordering process takes longer time unnecessarily.<br/><br/>Overall, keep up the good work!

Good good. Just wish they serve Soju and Beer, hehehe ✌️<br/>Definitely coming back. One of Dubai's hidden gems, really worth the time. Accessible too. Ambiance is really Seoul-ish 👌

Visited Gangnam Restaurant last week. Since, this was a fairly new place, ambience was good. We were invited to a Private Cabin and the hospitality was good. We ordered;<br/>1. Samgaetang Soup, which tasted really yummy.<br/>2. Kimchijeon, which had the usual taste. Nothing great about it.<br/>3. Gimbab, which was Excellent.<br/>4. Bulgogi, was well cooked and served well. But the quantity was less. :(<br/>5. Jjajangmyun, was mouth-watering and superb.<br/>6. Bokk-eum bab, was not up to the mark.<br/>Overall, this was a great experience. The washroom was not clean.<br/><br/>My Rating;<br/>Location: 5/10 (Parking is an issue)<br/>Service: 8/10<br/>Staff: 8/10<br/>Ambience: 8/10<br/>Food: 7/10.<br/><br/>Highly recommended.

Visited last night this korean restaurant with one of my friend, and the food was really good.<br/><br/>We ordered Soft Tofu Stew, Bibimbab in Hot Stone[Veg] and one Grilled Mackerel.<br/><br/>Stew was somewhat spicy for my friend, but i enjoyed stew and Bibimbab[as i am veggie, i didn't taste Fish. My friend told me the fish is great too.<br/><br/>Only thing disappointed is the Green Tea, they gave a green tea bag in the hot pot. :(<br/><br/>The total bill came around 230AED, bit expensive but i think its worth.

Great Korean restaurant, one of a handful in Dubai. Especially love the bibimbap. Definitely worth a visit, although I still do like Mannaland and will likely alternate between the two when the Korean cravings kick in :)

This is the real deal – a Seoul/Dubai copy/paste – from layout and décor right down to the little ‘service please’ buzzer at the end of each table – pukka Korean. And this is reflected in the food as well.<br/><br/>A default set of six little bowls of condiments are placed at the table as part of any meal, no matter how big or small the order. I’ve had better Kimchi in Dubai (on the other side of Oud Metha as a matter of fact) but theirs isn’t at all bad, just a little plasticky and quite obviously out of a packet. The rest – cabbage/carrot, seaweed, omelette, green beans and asparagus were all lovely and gobbled up well before our food arrived.<br/><br/>We did not have time to go for a full-on, at table BBQ and ordered from the kitchen instead; HAEMUL PAJEON – seafood and spring onion pancake to start and then me, the GODUNGUH GU-I – grilled Mackerel and my guest, the CHAMPPONG – noodles with spicy mixed seafood soup. I found my beautifully presented fillet of Mackerel unacceptably dry and would have returned it weren’t it for lateness of the hour and the novelty of the soy sauce/wasabi it was served with, which frankly can make anything taste good – it did. Judging by the audio/visual I was getting from Mr. Slurpy/Burpy sitting opposite I’m guessing his food was pretty damn amazing.<br/><br/>My gut tells me Gangnam has all the hallmarks of a kickass Korean restaurant. So I’m going to rate this one in the middle till I’ve had the chance of going back to sample the hard core stuff (and my favourites) like the BIBIMBAP, GALBI and the BULGOGI. Serves me right, who goes to a Korean restaurant and has bloody grilled Mackerel anyway? Damn this diet.

This is an amazing restaurant. My first to have Korean food and to visit this place. Great quality, excellent service and absolutely tasty food. A must try.

Our first try in this resto just near Lamcy plaza so it is not that hard to find for people like us who are not so familiar in the area. Truly authenthic - what you could see and hear are Koreans, television is set in korean channel as well as their music. We were delighted at the ambience more than the food - shiny clean and shimmering from floor to ceiling, neat , tidy and organize. Dining area has walls in between tables so there is some sort of privacy for diners - the place alone has stand out! Though service was a bit slow and servers can not communicate well, they are friendly and polite. Super like their side dishes, ordered their complete set of combo meal and price is very economical, also tried their galbitang but was a bit bland as well as my egg soup. But it is ok for as long as no msg or any addictive/synthethic ingredients on it. Nevertheless, we were not disappointed and hope to come again and try their other dishes. <br/><br/>Another thing, good thing they have zomato cashless and avail of their discount which is a plus points to both. A big thnks!

This is the first time we eat in this Korean restaurant. The ambience is nicer compare with other Korean resto we visited here in Dubai. We ordered and requested that our food be free with MSG (mono sodium glutamate). As a result, our food tastes like hospital food. No taste whatsover. I ordered Galbitang but I can not even taste the beef in the soup. The soup tastes like plain warm water with few glass noodles. Perhaps, if we didn't request not to put MSG on our food, it would taste just fine. But then again, my wife is allergic to MSG. But the other dishes we ordered are just fine except the egg soup which according to my wife has no taste also which she likes =)

Korean food are becoming popular and interesting now a days. And dubai is home of some of the good Korean restaurant that everyone loves and like to try. <br/>The different taste and flavor they served is amazing from spicy, garlic, sesame oil and many more. <br/>The service is fast and very efficient, they even have the buzz bill if u need something that u can press. <br/>The sea food hot pot is must try and the beef. <br/>

Gangnam has a very cheesy yet effective name for a korean restaurant and i say that because you actually get what you want: great korean food! Korean food in dubai is usally so pricey but this place is worthyour buck. MUST ORDER ITEMS: Bbq marinated short rib (90aed, good for 2), they cook that in your table and it's served with lettuce and kimchi. Bibimbap and kimchi pancakes are also winners.
