Located inside the Kaleem center on ground floor this place can be your savior if you go to Khaleej center for any visa or passport related services. Service is quick here and Sambhar and uttapam I love there. Food is simple but there recipes are old and traditional and you can get the taste of home .. not big seating space but it’s more like come, order, eat and leave.. so things move quick..and trust me,wait is totally worth as you will leave the place feeling satisfied and happy
A good budget vegetarian place in Khaleej centre, ambience is ok, little conjusted seating arrangement,menu compromise of South Indian and North Indian,we ordered Rava onion dosa,butter masala dosa and idli, service was fast,food was good,only 29 aed for all 3,not heavy on pocket.
It's hardly a surprise, that Dubai's culinary scene boasts some true gems when it comes to south-Indian cuisine. Pathans tops that list for me be it for breakfast, lunch, snacks or even a simple dish like curd rice. The quality of the food served here is simply outstanding and that too or a reasonable price. I love, love the Wadas dipped in sambar here. The thaalis, however, are the stars of the show and if filter coffee is your thing, then, these guys know how to do it right! Even though it gets super busy on the weekends, their service is quick with the generous flow of chutneys (Keep 'em coming!). I only wish they open another branch as a trip from Barsha and back costs more than the actual bill lol.
The restaurant serves great food. I love this place and usually end up having my breakfast here. Today we ordered two Ghee Masala Dosa with the Masala separate and it was great! The dosa has a beautiful crispy taste. The quantity of their food is very good and filling for the price we pay. The service is amazing. They are never hesitant to give you more chutney if you are a chutney lover like me and finish it way too early.
The presentation of the food itself leaving the taste behind is very pleasing to the eye.

We searched for an Indian restaurant and found this Gem of a Restaurant, it's located in Bur Dubai and close to Al Fahidi Metro station (Green line) around 500 meters from the station and opposite to Imperial Suits hotel.
Absolutely tasty Vegetarian Indian restaurant with top most quality at a very reasonable cost.. Must visit for all age groups if you want a salivating food and you will definitely satisfied with the restaurant, happy travelling and happy eating.

Pathans is a South Indian Restaurant and highly recommend place for morning breakfast. They are popular for Apams and is one of their specialities. Apams gets over by 9 am in the morning so be there before 9 am to enjoy it along with Stew. Idli wada, Onion Masala Dosa, Puri Bhaji with a cup of tea is a great day to start.
The staff is polite and helpful and quality is one of the best compared to the major South Indian restaurants in Burdubai. Cost would be AED 10-12 per person

Neat and clean, vegiterian delight, super tasty food, mostly south indian, service is good.. Value for money. My personal favorites are set dosa, coriander rice, and kerala parata with a nice smell of ghee 😇 and do not open the mineral water bottle immidately .. They serve hot jeera water in 5 minutes.. Which is good and healthy too..

The name is Pathans but the food is anything but pathani food. This place is a pure veg South Indian restaurant, which is light on pocket and must visit for South Indian fans. We had the thali, onion uttapa, rawa dosa and my personal favorite sambar rice. The service is quick and the food is filling. Ambience is ok. Being in khaleej center on Rolla road this place is always visited by tourists and regular patrons.

Hidden gem of Bur Dubai! When it comes to breakfast and I feel like eating south indian food this is where I head to. The piping hot dosas and idlis coming to my table only make me salvate more. The tomato chutney is worth mentioning and free refill is always welcome. You are welcomed with jeera water as soon as you grab a seat. Medium area size restaurant in the corner of khaleej centre for years has been my favourite for over 10 years now.
P.S. Do try the filter coffee to give a sweet ending to your meal :)

Fried rice was bad. It tasted like pulao. There was no salt in the fried rice.
We visited this restaurant many a times. We had thali, dosa and other like poratta and kuruma. If you like to raste some kerala style taste. You can visit here. My husband used to like their dosas. Similar to the one at Thrissur.

We accidentally came to this for vegetarian food. It surprised us . Had an amazing South Indian food after ages . We stuck to simple South Indian thali which was full of flavour . The prices are very pocket friendly . Very friendly staff .

Very nice and fresh south indian food. Have always made sure to have my breakfast there when I am in the area during morning time. Freshly made vada and idli are really tasty. The sambhar is also much better than many well known names. And the best part is their coffee. Their lunch meals are also good and lots of items in it.

It is one of the restaurant located on roller Street of bur Dubai inside khaleej centre. It is a vegetarian restaurant. Deserve all type of Indian dishes includes South Indian and North Indian dishes.
I visited this place during Friday lunch hours. I tried North Indian thali meal. Thali was consists of North Indian style vegetables like kurma chana masala and mix veg it was also having sambar and idli chilli dry there is a option to choose between roti and furious I tried Puri size of Puri was big deserve papad card pickle chutney with thali and also consists of one sweet.
Rice pulao quantity was less but ok. Overall experience was good food was good.
I like about this place is it is very peaceful.
They need to improve on their cleanliness of washbesin.
Must visit place to try South Indian and North Indian dishes in reasonable rates.

Great south Indian vegetarian food in the locality. The taste is so good and almost as good as originally made in South India. Service is also great and quick. I also ordered through phone and delivery was spot on. This saved me during my short business trip to Dubai. Will come back soon.

Pathans is another favorite of most of my Malabari friends who crave for some good vegetarian malabari food. It’s located on the ground level of Al khaleej centre. Very easy to locate but very difficult to find parking. It’s a simple and a no frills restaurant.
I have been here for breakfast and lunch and the south Indian meals are simply outstanding.. If your stomach is roaring with hunger then it advisable to have the meals as there are so many different types of vegetables and daal served along with rice. The spread in the deluxe meals is even bigger.
The quality of food is good and it’s not very oily or spicy. The service is super quick. Weekday afternoons can get a bit crowded. The prices are very good for the amount of food you are getting. A big thumbs up from me.
