If you live around Tecom, Greens, Media City etc. and craving for Dum Biryani, this is your place. They have one of the most yummiest Biryani in town at an extremely reasonable rate. Been regularly ordering it for last 6 years.
The rest of the food on the menu is OK and avoidable. Also, avoid in house dining, the service is pathetic. Been there once and always preferred ordering at home ever since. Off late their average delivery time has increased to one hour even for Tecom area.
So if you are not dying of hunger, your taste buds craving for Biryani and have an hour on you, order and relish their Biryani and thank me later!
Their Biryani deserves a rating of 5 star though!! Would have given a 5 star to this place if it was only a Biryani take away joint.
Best Indian take away in Dubai. Delicious veggie food - especially the paneer butter masala and the daal with spinach - and my husband can vouch for the chicken tikka masala. We have been ordering from there for years and never had a bad meal.
I haven't tried much but have ordered veg thali couple of times for lunch.. Honestly, they serve the best vegetarian thali in the internet city area...High quality curries nicely done and enough food for one person..But they can do better to deliver it a little faster as my office is just 100 metres from their kitchen..
Ordered food
I love their non veg thali
I can say it is one of the best non veg thali in dubai
My experience of dine in was not that great because we went on busy timing
Need to try more dishes
The food is not so excellent. Very late to fetch orders. Staffs are not so co-operative. You will not be disappointed when you visit this place. Chicken is well cooked and soft.
Good ambience and nice food. Mix grill was very tasty. Mutton biryani was just awesome with lots of yummy meat and masala. Chicken handi was bit disappointing. Garlic and green nan was perfect. Fresh lime was good.
Friendly service. Our server was a very nice person.
Royal or not, their mixed grill platter sums up an afternoon meal bang on. The fish is tender, scorched in green and red sauce, not too spicy but enough to tingle those taste buds. Delivery on time. Packaging alright. Going back to the food bit, they could do with a larger portion of bread to get more dips out of the raita, but I guess, they are looking out for you, your carb intake is being watched. Chicken and lamb grills look the part, enjoyed the marine stuff more - prawns aplenty and fish. As good an immersion into Indian grills you'll get in Media City.
I went to pick up a chicken tikka wrap with fries and drink at around 19:30.
The restaurant must be more a lunch place for the offices in media city. The entrance is not on the street but inside the building "courtyard".
The wrap was quite big, there was a lot of vegetables with the chicken, which I liked. The wrap itself was a bit chewy...
The photos shows half of the wrap.
We have only ever ordered from Royal Kebab and I have to say that every single time we have been blown away by its quality. We usually order a mix of curries and grills, and each item is always hot when it arrives and tastes incredibly authentic. I've found that with some Indian restaurants they can be very heavy on the cream in, for example, tikka masala and butter chicken curries. That usually leaves me feeling uncomfortably full and lethargic. Royal kebab doesn't use as much cream in its recipes meaning it is lighter, authentic, and overall a more enjoyable experience.
We also order their biryanis and naans which are also so yummy and taste authentic. Another positive is the sizing of the dishes. Royal Kebab definitely doesn't scrimp on the portions! They are always really large portions for reasonable prices making the overall cost more than fair.
Delivery is fast and online payment makes it very convenient. I couldn't recommend this place more!!
Biriyani - mutton or chicken is the best in media city
Their mango lassi is must try, butter chicken is also good
Grills are not upto mark
Courteous staff
Parking is difficult
They have affordable buffet but with few options
Just had the veg thali. they delivered in record time. The food was amazing - Dal Makhani, Paneer & Aaloo Peas. Only missing was Indian pickles.
Otherwise, almost perfect.
Delicious food with real mix of Indian and Arabic taste. The right place which i chose for my family and friends .The team is real professional with great hospitality towards the customers .We had a great experience .Thank you Royal kebab management and the team
I found this place particularly interesting to try out because i read an article the other day about their simple philanthropic effort. This is what the sign outside the door says: "If you are unemployed and looking for a job, we understand that times are tough, so drop by for a free meal anytime.”
This is so great cause it not helps workers who cannot afford a meal but also the restaurant as they cut down from food wastage from the left over buffet. Something a lot of restaurants should be doing!!
Food ordered: dum biryani & kebab platter
Review (4/5): Great tasting food. Just the right amount of masala. The presentation of food was great too - biryani in the hot mud pot covered with roti dough on top to seal in the flavour and aroma. The kebab platter was amazing too with 5 variety of kebabs.
Staff (5/5): very friendly. They served us the biryani so no one got burned from the hot pot.
Ambience (3/5): the only thing the restaurant lacks, thats why il give a 4. For royal kebabs, the place certainly didnt feel like royalty-ish with plain white walls and white furniture.
There are some restaurants that don't really have anything wrong with them per and yet nothing outstanding that will make you keep wanting to come back..their model is predominantly buffet based. So basically a well priced reasonably spread out buffet which basically caters to the office goers of Media City..wud I recommend it to anyone other than an office goer..probably not..
The food i had from this restaurant is delicious.😋 the quantity and quality is good. I have tried only veg dishes from here. Non veg i don't know how it is. Delivery is fast and very reasonable price. Good packing. Very nice and i like it😊.
A different experience, a
good place to have South Indian foods...
I
just tried that, it was pleasant and good. One of the best places in the UAE
were the biriyani taste is awesome! I love the way they cooked and serve in the
clay pot and is covered with the Maida dough. It is really worth of money to
pay. Great ambience and well maintained

Best dum biryani in Dubai so far. This place is specialized in food delivery. The experience in the restaurant itself is not the best i would say.
I travel through Dubai regularly and each and every time I do, I make it a point to go and have a feast at Royal Kebab.
Some of the most authentic cuisine you can get, the food is cooked with passion and the flavours are outstanding. Particular favorite is the Biryani in a claypot..utterly delicious as are all the curry dishes.
Service is great, staff are friendly, if you ask for recommendations they dont tell you to choose the most expensive dish on the menu, (like most restaurant staff do) they will suggest the most tastiest.
If you cant go for a sit down meal..order the takeaway cos this is some of the best food in town by a country mile!
Have tried almost all the dishes here just to see which is not so good.. but almost everything surpasses the very good mark. Biryani's to die for and kebabs are juicy and yummy. Mutton chops were the best in dubai at one time but not so good when tried couple of times lately.
Dum Handi Biryani is awesome.
Other than its an overall amazing restaurant.
Good Food.
Tried the Iftar buffet @ 39dhs yesterday. The term buffet would be misleading, since it's an "Iftar-set", served at the table. The quantity is more than enough, especially considering the price.
The staff is very friendly and accommodating, and we were served cream of mushroom soup along with starters such as samosa, paneer fry, veg pakoda, salad and dates for breaking the fast.
The main meal was literally king-size, and despite being a foodie, I couldn't finish it all. Pulav rice, naan, malai boti, mutton roganjosh, butter chicken, mint chutney, raita. Along with gulab jamun for dessert.
Overall, it's great value for money, and taste-wise its pretty good too. It was a random visit, and since its tucked in a corner, I didn't even know it existed. It's worth a second visit though :)

Awesome indian food. They really make it spicy. I loved the Garlic Naan, Chicken vindaloo n Chicken Biryani. Its worth the money. Go try it ;)
Super Spicy biryani but love their buffet.
Try the spicy biryani challenge - you'll probably die - for real.
Other than that, the staff at this place is super friendly.
Delicious food, vegetarian platter , i.e. Veg khazana is quite heavy and sufficient for 2 persons. Nice staff n ample place to enjoy the food. I didn't like the dish in which they served hot gulab jamun with ice cream.
Many might experience that after years of living in Dubai the usual tendency would have to try at least a hundred restaurants only to return back to those that initially did meet your expectations. Royal Kebab has been that journey for me. its been around now for years now and tends to keep improving itself. What really touched me this time in this visit was the kind initiative they have developed to unemployed individuals. Besides that they do serve a decent buffet extremely good for its modest price of 33 AED. As my partner went on to eat the Lunch buffet I was reminded of the reason I was first pulled into this shop was its Biryani and curries. Fairly priced, very friendly staff and very tasty food which is all the more reason to return once again. I would rate this as a 4.0 but seen them diametrically change its approach I would award a 4.5 :)
Found this through zomotos, as I was new in town and wanted to try some indian food near my hotel Holiday Inn Ex. It's in walking distance from the hotel but using Google map will take you to the opposite of the hotel and then you have to ask for it.
Well once I managed to be here, I was quite pleased to see this small but elegant hotel. Menu items were impressive and the food was above average.
Cost decent and service was quick.
The starting appetizer that give is a curd based sauce which was awesome... I just loved it and asked for more..
Often go here for lunch as my office is located nearby. Usually I am happy with their food. If you are limited in time you can prefer their buffet for 29 dhs, it is not bad but choice of food is also limited. We typically order chicken or mutton biryani which is always good and done the way I like it. Another favorite of mine is chicken reshmi kebab. Other kebabs I tried here were not as good as this one
Royal Kebabs is a hidden gem in the maze of buildings around Media City (Zee bldg). We went on the recommendation along with a friend's family and were initially a bit hesitant given that the place is almost hidden from normal roadside view. However our fears proved wrong as we stepped inside.
The seating is bit ordinary but then they make up for it with some amazing array of Turkish Lamp Lighting and paintings/graffiti on the walls with some random quotes.
The good menu looks a bit disorganized but I guess it is done on purpose. They serve Chinese also but we decided to go for an Indian Dinner. The portions are good and so is the taste. The staff is friendly too.
A special mention of the 'Veg. Biryani' which was amazing and well cooked and they serve it with yoghurt. Had tandoori rotis instead of naan and loved them for they weren't burnt.
Cost for 4 people ( 2 Veg main course, 1 Veg biryani, 6 tandoori rotis, 1 water bottle) -- AED 140.
Not bad at all ! Indeed a hidden gem when you are looking for a quick kill in media city with good food and affordable price.
PS: Not meant for romantic dinners or special occasions though! More suited for business lunches and families.
Amazing Indian Kebab restaurant which offers excellent dining facilities as well as delivery. the meats are succulent and marinated to perfection. My personal favourite is the Biryani and the Royal Kebab mixed grill. Presentation is down to a tee. Love the food at this place!
I ordered the royal non vergg thali recently and was quite impressed by the food quality. I got it delivered and really liked the way they presented it in the box...everything was neatly packed and in its own space. The grill was decen and so was the lentil but I found the rogan josh too be really average. Rest of the food was above average and good VFM for the price.
Amazing food...with perfection and great taste only disappointment is the time they take... you might have to wait upto 45 minutes even for a single aloo paratha.
Taste: one of the best indian restaurants when it comes to taste. The food is like a homemade one and the portions are good.
Price: it is not expensive and within the range of similar restaurants, with NBD discount, entertainer vouchers and loyalty card.
Service: although the food comes in a good shape; the waiter who took the order cough in his hand and then gave us the menu, which we found very bad and actually we left and cloud not order that day. The other day, one of the waiters was a little rude.
Atmosphere: the interior decor is good but it is mainly for business launch so you dont go with ur family in a weekend as the place is not that enjoyable.
Pretty good food...generally never crowded hence fast service...yellow dal tadka was very good
Friendly staff and delicious food. But most importantly, unlike many restaurants in Dubai, Royal Kebab is consistent. I don;t have to worry about the quality of food ever. The Kebab Mix Platter is superb, and their Dal Makhani needs to win an award.
Nice restaurant in media city, the mother company of 7 spice London British curry house, which was how I was introduced to this restaurant, I live in tecom so I decided to go across the bridge just a 2 mins drive. It was a quiet night on a weekday, I had all the attention from the staff, fantastic and friendly staff very genuinely showing interest in my food and very sweet as well. I was enticed and encouraged to give the Handi Chicken Biryani a try as the Manager had recommended and i'm happy I went with the decision, a clay pot stuffed with biryani and a very taste one indeed. A lunch buffet goes on for 29 AED for weekday Lunch but i heard they are packed and busy. I liked it very quiet with light tunes playing some good old mix of music, and the most interesting part is they have this on board entertainment where i could choose from over 100 movies. I watched escape plan while eating my biryani, a splendid idea to keep a customer entertained especially at night when its no so busy as lunch im guessing. See you guys soon and thanks for taking care of me :)
I am a regular customer in this restaurant as it's close to my office; just 5 min walk.
They have lunch buffet Sun-Thu with lots of varieties, mainly Indian, Chinese and sometimes Afghani food. The buffet is not what you could expect in a 5* hotel, but it's good for a weekday meal during lunch break (and for the cost of AED 29).
You can have salad, soup, rice, chicken, dal, dessert (don't miss the caramel cream!!) but drinks are excluded.
Would definitely recommend this place for people who work in Media City and want to have a good value for money.
Good food and a very friendly staff.
i ordered from royal kebabs once and the food was good . the quantity was good as per the price and it tasted good too. there is a lot of variety and they serve chinese food too. if you are in a mood to eat indian food, this is a good option .
This is restaurant which serves arguably best Biryani serving restaurant in Dubai... Staff is very cordial... Just love going to this place again and again
I rarely enjoy Indian food but this is pretty good and not too pricey. We order pretty often for our business associates as they deliver pretty much all over new Dubai
everything is just fine with Royal Kebab, i have been order from them for a long time, packing, delivery, food, all good,
THANKS ROYAL KEBAB
Good food! Delivery is quite fast and we are always satisfied with the experience.
if you are in a mood to go Desi full course meal (read punjabi cuisine) with a quite ambience setting , then a visit to Royal kebab deserves a mention .
Located in middle of Dubai Media city ( Easy landmark reference - ask for Zee TV building ) its in the same premise . Be careful to walk into the right door as you have 3 doors leading to 3 different outlets . ( Not kidding )
We sauntered there on saturday afternoon and as expected were the lone diners there , a couple of other diners were scattered around the place and the staff was busy huddled in one corner.
The staff was quick to spring into action and promptly got us the menu and water on the table .
We ordered the lemon coriander soup , Chicken Tandoori( half) , Malai Kofta along with the assortment of rotis and raita.
all the orders were attended promptly and soon in a matter of few minutes our order started making its way to our tables.
The lemon soup was a bit thick for me , the had used the Sweet corn broth base for this , so it was a mix taste of sweet corn and lemon on and off , No complaints though .
The chicken tandoor dish was presented nicely and it was a feast for the eyes . The meat was tender and not too chewy and there was no trace of food color on the fingers as well . Top it off it was nice and hot off the tandoor as well , the charcoal taste and smell was strongly present through it .
The Malai Kofta was ok, too much cream being used so i would rate it strictly ok . In the side dishes i must mention that the aloo raita had the right blend of Pudina( mint) , Diced potato pieces , and the jeera(cumin) flavor to it made an interesting eat in itself .
Overall a pleasant experience , the staff was helpful , got us our order on time and quick to clear off the plates and waste once we were done with eating .
The meal bill was around 120 AED , not bad for a filling meal.
Note : parking is a pain since its a zone based parking , so you need to hunt for a spot to get the paid parking , suggested closest area is behind DMC building 9 , if you are lucky.
On a weekday , sorry but you will have no chance to park in and around this place . Speaking from personal experience , my office is just a stones throw from this place .
on a working week day , expect to see a whole lot of combo meal deals being seen / ordered , they do office deliveries as well , make sure you place your order by 11.30 am to make it in time for your meal session .
Just ordered food from this place for lunch, the delivery came in pretty quick and the food was very good. The best thing about this place is their food presentation. The food tasted completely authentic and they even gave a mutka with each biryani.
in short, iApprove (y)

I am surprised to find that no one has ever reviewed this restaurant. Tucked away in the corner of media city- Rk is one of eateries serving good Indian food.
I happened to visit RK few days back , this wasn't my first visit but generally I order their takeaway meal combos for lunch from here. However recently I visited here for proper dinner with couple of office buddies. We started off by ordering veg grill khazana, butter chicken, paneer tikka masala, pudina raita and four tandoori butter naans. The ambiance indoors is very basic, nothing fancy, too many lights though. Few tables on the left were occupied with couples or just random groups. Where we were seated, all the tables were empty.
We ordered at around 8:45pm and the food arrived at 9:30 something, the service really needs to improve because 40-45 minutes is a lot of time to bring out the appetizers at least. However the grill khazana tasted great! The paneer was grilled to perfection (marinated in different sauces) and the dish was served on a crisped naan with accompaniments such as mint chutney, tandoori gobi and pickled onions. Slowly the main course arrived, butter chicken and paneer tikka. Both were good but quantity wise a bit smaller then expected. The naans were chew-able because there was alot of butter on it, I don't think the plain naan would have tasted good. The sweet lassi was nothing extraordinary but it was good enough.
I would have definitely rated this place a four if it weren't for the service. I had to literally call out the server to order a extra naan and despite looking at me he still took his own sweet time to come and check for concerns.By the time he came I gave up on the thought of naan and instead requested the check(which also took good 10 minutes to arrive). Upon providing feedback to the manager I was informed that it had been a busy day for them and that's why service was a bit slow.I don't have patience to deal with slow service.. hope not to experience the same next time around..else I will have to stick to my combo takeaways only.
Please note, they are offering lunch facilities during Ramadan as well.
The food is good. Excellent Staff, good service. The Grills and Wraps are extremely tasty.
went for lunch as i had an appointment in DIC . nice place , seems to be popular with office goers who dont really care for much except fast ordertaking , service and good food. they have all but there is scope for improvement certainly.
Poor service, but still I have been visiting here for past 5 years, because the food in still unbeatable for the price despite 50% increase in prices since I've been visiting
