The food was tasty and plentiful,the outdoor seating service is excellent as you can choose to sit on a mat beside a park or sit on traditional Iranian chairs and tables,the price is affordable and in fact much cheaper than other restaurants that offer similar cuisine,if you choose to get the AED 190 platter for 4,you can easily feed around 5-6 people,the bread is unlimited ,the service is fast and responsive and they have free black tea to sip on after a meal, I would surely recommend this place if you’re in search for some good kebabs and authentic simple Iranian food, it’s a good place to go with family ,for small parties or just casual dinner with friends.
My love for Kebabs took me to this hidden gem .. Not a fancy place but the food and service is something to be amazed about. Tender, juicy and perfectly cooked kebabs served with Hummus, garlic paste, yogurt dip and roti .. What more can you ask for ?

Well firstly it's not a fancy place, but truly it takes one back to the old Dubai days when these kinds of restaurants used to be, truly traditional arabic place servings amazing Iranian Bahraini grill food, no ac here as it's outdoor sitting, one sees lot of people coming in group and since there is garden nearby people put there mats on the floor and order food for food the tabrezi kebab is wow. We ordered mix grill for 3 along with the tabrezi and hummus and salad. Well a place to go again for kebabs.
If you are craving of Kebabs i would say this is the best place so far to enjoy their delicious kebabs which is soo well grilled and yummy.. Need to visit this place only at evening time it is crowded but you will be served hot and fresh bread. I would personally thanks Mr. Usman for his great gesture and friendly nature.
I love there kabab especially the kubidah kabab the workers are polite and patient and super fast preparation but the price of food in their menu is too much and maybe the only restaurant I know that use only their ingredients not readymade food

Oh My Gosh! What a Rush! Crowd! All places full to eat yummy Iranian Kebabs & Grills. Very well marinated meats with absolute delisiousness. Service is the only thing they are not able to manage, Long wait is worthy for the food. Better to visit in Winter time as seating's are open air.

An Ever Favourite. A must visit place i suggest. Wat i enjoy most is sitting on the floor and enjoying the meal. Their Egg&Cheese Rigag is a must try n so r the mixed kebab platter. Their Labneh drink is a go getter too. A peaceful n a vibrant Dinner i vouch for here.

Our all time favourite and the oldest spot for the best kebabs in town. If you have been living in Dubai for a very long time, you wouod hsve heard of this place in al Twar area. The fresh juicy kebabs on seekh are to die for.
If you are looking for fresh chicken and meat skewers for bbq then you must visit this place. They can also deliver your order to your door step. Highly recommended if you are planning to have a bbq at home, the taste won’t disappoint you.

I had been to this place with friends and family. And what we loved the most is their amazing hot served kebabs.
It’s one of the best place for kebabs in Dubai I believe.
Their hot bread is great with the hot kebab and the hummus .
Also the Laban is so refreshing, I can have that whole day.
And they give free mint tea , which is the best 🤷♀️
Not all kebabs are up to the mark .
I would recommend for the minced mutton and chicken kebabs. Which is really good and juicy!!

Eaten there multiple times and always goes up high to my standards! The perfect place to eat when you’re in the mood for something middle eastern and traditional.
Cons :
- There should be more options on the zomato menu since I am unable to order beverages for example.
- Every-time I’ve tried to buy Rigag, it has never been available. Need to work on that!
Pros :
- Decent price for the servings.
- Air conditioned seatings outside with privacy 10/10

This is perfect place for barbeque lovers, grilled platters is too damn good. in platters I loved beef it was very delicious. I loved the concept of sitting outside here. It's basically a small restaurant type but have large dining area outside as they have put so many mat outside on footpath and they serve food over there which is really amazing. On weekends it will be very crowded. Rates are reasonable staffs are good and service is also good. Over all restaurant is nice.
Succulent kababs. I love the seating outside, on the carpet. All the kebabs are marinated to perfection and the yogurt along with the kebab is spot on. A must try place for foodies searching for middle eastern kebabs.
This is an absolutely amazing place with good quality grilled good. It is located at almost a hidden place but it is very peaceful near a park. It is a homely place with few seating arrangements and even mat on the footpath near the park. The service is good and fast and good is just delicious value for money. The Iranian kebabs are served on skewers with hummus and garlic sauce and roti. The mix grill included lamb and chicken. Quantity is also quite a lot. They also serve black tea.

I absolutely love this place for good quality grilled kebabs with authentic Middle Eastern flavours. The place is very homely and the service is fast as it needs to be.
We ordered the kebab for 4 which is served with 20-ish skewers of mixed meat, their roti and yogurt. I quickly realized that not all kebabs are to my liking so next time I would order the two I really loved which was the mince lamb kebab and the boneless chicken tikka. However, if it is your first time get the chicken and lamb mix kebabs to see what you like, but I would personally recommend the mince lamb and chicken tikka as they were the best of them all. Also, I would recommend asking them to serve you 10 skewers at a time because it gets cold very fast. We got the hummus and garlic which is each priced at an expensive AED 10 which is unnecessary. After our meal we helped ourselves to the hot sulaimani chai which was the perfect end to the delicious meal on a cold winter night. I highly recommend this place over the higher priced Arabic grilled kebab places as these are some of the most juicy, succulent and tasty kebabs I've ever had.

Truly, a hidden gem in a corner of Qusais, if one is into mild Arabic barbeque. The mixed platter offers an array of exotic Arabic barbeque , including both chicken and mutton. My personal favourite was mutton kebab. The only thing they could have improved was the bread that they served the grilled food with. To leathery and chewy.
The place offers typical table-chair seating arrangement, as well as traditional form of dining on the carpets, if you are comfortable sitting on the floor. The best part is , it is right adjacent to a community park, which offers a peaceful attraction to families with kids.
My hubby described d place as a hidden gem.... True to his words, it's a little to the interior.... We rchd there n found it to be packed.. mind u the time was after 1030 pm.. we had to wait a good ten minutes for a table.. it has only outdoor seating and the winter atmsphr makes it rly intrstng... Besides table seating, it also provides majlis seating....
I was a little disappointed by their service... It seemed to be out of order... I guess it's the quality of the food that holds the crowd there...

Visited the Al Fareej Qusais on Friday with family and friends.
We got a comfortable table and ordered their grill
And Lamb chops.
There was delay in service, but the food was really nice.
The servers forgot the Lamb chops , and we had to remind them and wait again.
It came later, but under cooked.
Their Laban up was nice.
We finished with a Kunaafa and that was awesome
Overall the experience was good. But you need to be prepared for delays.
I regularly visit the Gusais branch for grilled food. The mixed grill is delicious and the service is also good. Though at weekend's the joint is crowded and you have to wait. The food is served on carpets on the food path that is something you will enjoy. However visiting the place for a family get together during week days would be lovely experience as during weekends it is crowded.
This is one of those hidden gems which serves good food without tearing ur pockets...we often go for the 1 kg mixed grilled...which is cooked well and is quite different from the normal types. They have outdoor seating and the best part is the food isn't heavy on the tummy even if u overeat...

Amazing hidden gem away from fancy and glam! We ordered the mixed grill (chicken lamb beef) and gave us two plates of rice. Cant express how good the food was will definitely be coming again. Had this for suhour though probably not a good idea for those on a diet but definitely a must to try!
Have been to this joint two times and have to say their Grills are REALLY GOOD. It's outdoor seating so in the summer it's gonna be a sweaty affair. Their kebabs are really juicy and tasty. You have families coming to this joint. The waiting time is not much. The pricing i feel is a little on the higher side considering the fact its outdoor seating and tucked away from the main road. But surely will recommend this joint for their mixed grills and juices.
Good food, great taste and decent price...i had the yogurt lamb and the yogurt chicken, for takeaway, one thing i would prefer is if they used Gloves and if it was more clean!! ( chicken might look burnt in the picture but I asked for it to be done that way)
This restaurant sudden came in my sight when I was turning from union coperative Society. It is a hidden place but the experience here was very good . I ordered mix grill and their fish grill . Both were juicy and yummy . Presented food was the result of best marination and spices. Overall it was a Good experience but prices are Lil higher on side.

Al Fareej restaurant nestled in the heart of qusais is a true #Dubaihiddengem. The kebabs are cooked to perfection and just exquisitely delicious, nothing like i have tried before.In my opinion, the mutton kebabs were slightly better than the chicken ones. Moreover, the yoghurt dip elevates the dish to a whole another level.
A mouthful of freshly baked bread, with a piece of moist kebab, dipped in the yoghurt and downed with a sip of mint tea is an experience not to be missed! Head on over there for an authentic feast🎉

Located in a peaceful street of Twar, this place is surely a hidden gem. Never have to worry about parking or even waiting times since they even have mats laid on the roadside. Our food was served hot and fresh on skewers within 5 mins of ordering and the kebabs were delicious! The minty yoghurt and saffron rice go perfectly with the meat. At the end you can treat yourself for finding this hidden gem with some complimentary sulaimani tea.

We ordered GRILLED Hamour 1kG along with chicken tikka n rice. Liked the food and its absolute value for money. The quantity was good enough to feed 6 people. I also liked the breads and mixed salad.
I have been ordering food from other Iranian restaurants and by far your food and service has topped all of them. The food is authentic and fresh, the delivery super fast. The best Kebab I've had since coming to Dubai. Thank you Al Fareej chef and staff :).
Don't expect too much from the ambience. But I can assure you they their food is authentic. Try the mutton rice with berries along with the kababs. The best Irani food at an ultimate price.
Are u looking for a skewer kebab heaven? Well, this is the place you should be heading to... Quite friendly on the pocket as well!! You also get a free magic carpet ride with its special seating arrangement right next to the parking... the mix kebab grill is the highlight of this place... the mouth melting tender meat with the hot crispy bread, yoghurt (w/ cucumber) and fresh salad leaves are just a combination that is out of this world. Heads up for food freshness, quality and taste.

I really love the mixed grill there as well as how you have the option to sit on rugs on the floor - very authentic!! I even like the fact that the staff may not speak English lol - you can just point on the menu & you're good to go. Portions are good.
Favorites are the meats & chicken marinated in yogurt sauce! Simply hits the spot. & I absolute love their fresh bread & how they serve the food on a platter - just truly authentic feel.

One of the best places to visit in Dubai for kababs .. . As it's winter ,they have open air sitting place and also they give majlis type sitting area opp to their restaurant . The staff is very quick in service ,and they are always around ,just in case you need them to order anything. The mix grill kabab medium size is good for 3 people . #personalselection
Al fareej restaurant is good for kabab. We ordered their sultan kabab with rice and lab yoghurt tikka with rice . Both are very good. Pineapple juice is also good
The place is a gem. Delicious hot tikkas and kebabs served right from the barbecue. Super fast service. The humus should be avoided. All in all totally worth it.

The most juiciest tender kababs are made here! The meat of lamb kabab is prepared in a way that it preserves its meat aroma along with its spices. Its served with fresh rotis/bread yogurt and basic salad tray. We ordered the lamb kababs with rice along with mixed platter that came with chicken and lamb pieces in skewers freshly barbecued to order. A hidden gem, must try. (Keep in mind this rest has outside seating)

The place is ideal during winters , they give you a small mat and you can sit in the near by small park/garden and food will be served there , hot kababs and happy kids running around makes its Favourite stop for family.
They serve Iranian kabaabs , small kababs , Iranian roti and hummus and stuff ..... Food if you have when your hungry with a group of family the spot hot it's yummy or else I don't think it's that great .... I have had done in and loved it and ordered take away once by time I came home roti was hard and kabaabs dint taste great. Service is not that wow so don't expect that , their suleimani is light refreshing to have after the food .
During winter do come out once and try a small restaurant in interiors of qusais. The zomato google map will help you to reach here. Yeah they also serve raw kababs which we can Bbq .
Heard about this place last night. From a Cozin boy this place is fun good kebabs and excellent feel to this place more of a street food kinda place and the fun bit is that you feel u r on a picnic. Traditional serving style Iranian style "Sofra" they can place a carpet in the Stree or the nearby garden so that u can enjoy a nice bbq and complete a picnic.
We tried the yogurt kebab and Kubideh. Both were nice and mince kebab were soft and juicy. Well cooked. Served on the skewers.

A friend took me there to pick up raw skewered meat for the evening barbecue. Was wondering why we had to drive down from Marina to Qusais for this.
It was then that we decided to have a few kebabs while we wait. Just floored. Best ever Iranian style kebabs I have had in Dubai. Juicy and Succulent and absolutely flavorsome from the first bite.

This place is like a hidden gem among the residential area ! They create a nice ambience by placing mats outside on the floor. We ordered half a kg of mixed platter and it was some of the best I've had ! The chicken was very well flavored and the kebabs were juicy and cooked well ! Even their khubbus was really soft , and I would definitely visit this place again !
As a foodie , its one of my favourite spot for mix kababs in Dubai . From their sulaimani to other dishes are outstanding taste . This is place where me and my friends use to go for kababs. Coz of rush we have to wait for sone time to give order. But the attitude of the staffs are great .

I stumbled across this place by reading reviews one day and thought let's try it. I recommend this place to everyone who is fond of Kebabs. It's a nice cosy place making full use of the space given to them, a bit difficult to find in the first attempt though. I like the concept where they have got arrangement for people to eat either on tables or a nice sit out place on the opposite side where u can sit down and eat on the mat. We've been here for the 100th time but never get bored of the Kebabs neither the Suleimani Tea :)
Right from Mix kebabs to Chicken Yoghurt tikka to Meat lemon tikka, all are lipsmacking and worth every penny. It's a very reasonable restaurant and I suggest having Suleimani tea in the end. A Hidden gem I say !!
Not always do you find the most authentic food with taste at the fanciest restaurant. The mixed grill platter - (costs Aed 68 medium portion) from Al Fareej Restaurant and Bakery is one such place. I would categorize it as a hidden gem not only is it's existence unknown but so is it's location as it's hidden among the villas in Al Qusais.
I'm not familiar with kebab names but the right most chicken kebab is one of the juiciest I've ever had. I'd recommend this place only for the food, customer service and ambience is zero. The bread they provide is cold and a bit tough. I love the yoghurt dips, the hummous and garlic paste costed another 10 dhs each. Out of the grill platter there was one which was too sour for my liking will probably just go with the ones I liked next time.

One of the best place for Irani/arabic food. Grills and all types of kebabs are so delicious. This place is isolated. Seating arrangements are unique when over crowded 😉
This place is legit. Delicious and succulent Iranian kabab in a humble setting. Prices are great, service is as good as one would expect.
Your choice in sitting on table or on a carpet on the curb - my personal preference.

I would give this restaurant a full FIVE if it were an actual restaurant. It’s not. Well, it’s not a sit down type of restaurant. Unless of course, sitting down on a straw, picnic mat (which the restaurant provides you with) in the park opposite is considered sitting down – how cool is that though? How many restaurants actually have the audacity to do something like that? You want to sit? Here’s a mat, go sit in the park. There is also a shaded area with a couple of ceiling-corner fans right in-front of the restaurant – prime space, I imagine, at peak hours.
Al Fareej is a South Iranian restaurant. It is NOT Arabic or Arabian as some reviewers have incorrectly stated. And it serves some of THE BEST TIKKA KABABS ON THE PLANET! Tikka, which means 'small piece' in Persian, is a reference to the small pieces of either chicken or lamb used to make these kababs, and should not be confused with the Indian Tikka (which incidentally, should mean the same thing). The hero Kabab here is what they call Lamb Lemon Tikka – even a full-on Meg Ryan ‘oh God, oh GOD, OH GOD from When Harry met Sally will not come close to the noises you will make when you try this – I dare you! It’s that good. I did a Meg and then went all passive, mewing with each piece I put in my mouth. You don’t need to chew, just roll the kabab around in your mouth with your tongue – it’ll just melt. This is not a sour kabab as the lemon in the name suggests. Limoo Amani, or dried lime is powdered and added to the marinate of this delicious kabab giving it that distinctly tart and tangy taste – oh God, oh GOD, OH GOD!
The Boneless Chicken Tikka, which in essence is Joojeh Kabab, is the best I have had in Dubai. If it were simply succulent it would be juicy – this literally gushes! And it has a little tingle too, suggesting there’s more to the marinate than just Saffron – a little chili willy maybe? Whatever it is, it’s Marilyn Monroe gorgeous.
The Masti is really, really good but Ostadi is still better – much. Hats off to their Mince Kabab, Koobideh to you and me, it’s also really, really good but not as good as Feri Kasif – close. Different too because it also has a little tingle. I like the individual touch these boys have added to their kababs – uniqueness, individualism.
First timers – GO! It’s well, well worth it. There are not a lot of places in the world which serve such amazing kababs. Zomato maps works perfectly – trust it…and GO! Please DO NOT order the wraps. Stick to the classics or whatever will give you a selection to sample like the Al Fareej Mix, the Mix Tikka, Tikka with Kabab or the Lamb Lemon Tikka on its own – start with any one of these and just follow your yellow brick pallet which, I guarantee, will take you straight to the Wizard of Yum! Bah Bah!

Found this restaurant from a blog on the internet. A true hidden gem for kabab lovers. Ordered the mix grill medium size cause i was accompanied by my brother. Also ordered hummus and garlic paste with it. And we just loved it. The meat was so tender and juicy. I would have given it a 4.5 if not for their bread. The bread given along with the grill was cold an very rubbery. Our jaws ached after having one of those and we stopped eating them and concentrate on the meat. Those lovely delicious tender meat!! They served it hot on the skewers itself which was really interesting. And the main thing the price is very reasonable. Definitely this is now one of my best places for having mix grills. Will be visiting again to try their other kebabs. Double thumbs up.

من المطاعم القديمة جدا ف دبي ويقع بين المنازل وهو يحمل نفس الاسم وهو الفريج ( الحي) ويتميز بالباب والمشاوي فقط ولكن مزدحم جدا ويضع لك سجادة خارج المحل على الرصيف لتناول العشاء بشكل لطيف ومميز جدا

The food was tasty and plentiful, the outdoor seating service is excellent as you can choose to sit on a mat beside a park or sit on traditional Iranian chairs and tables, the price is affordable and in fact much cheaper than other restaurants that offer similar cuisine, if you choose to get the AED 190 platter for 4,you can easily feed around 5-6 people, the bread is unlimited ,the service is fast and responsive and they have free black tea to sip on after a meal, I would surely recommend this place if you’re in search for some good kebabs and authentic simple Iranian food, it’s a good place to go with family ,for small parties or just casual dinner with friends.

كان الطعام لذيذ وفيرة ، وخدمة الجلوس في الهواء الطلق ممتازة حيث يمكنك اختيار الجلوس على حصيرة بجانب الحديقة أو الجلوس على الكراسي والطاولات الإيرانية التقليدية ، والسعر في متناول الجميع ، وفي الواقع أرخص بكثير من المطاعم الأخرى التي تقدم مأكولات مماثلة ، إذا اخترت الحصول على طبق 190 AED مقابل 4 ، يمكنك بسهولة إطعام حوالي 5-6 أشخاص ، والخبز غير محدود ، والخدمة سريعة ومستجيبة ولديهم الشاي الأسود مجانا على رشفة بعد وجبة، وأود أن أوصي بالتأكيد هذا المكان إذا كنت تبحث عن بعض الكباب جيدة وأصيلة الطعام الإيراني بسيطة، انها مكان جيد للذهاب مع العائلة، للأحزاب الصغيرة أو مجرد عشاء عارضة مع الأصدقاء.
