A hidden place in DIP. Always a pleasure to come back. Best grilled chicken I have ever tasted. What impresses me is staff attitude - everyone is so friendly, attentive and hospitable. They are joyous and seems like they are one big happy team.
This evening Jessa and Gouda was excellent in welcoming us and ensuring we have all we need. We were also approached by the manager (sorry, dis not get his name) who made sure we have a pleasant stay as well. Keep up the good work - we will for sure be back.

I’ve been coming to Al Hakawati in The Market DIP for a while and every time the food, the service and the soothing ambiance are on point. We ordered the Pizza with thin crust, the lamb and the chicken all of which made us lick our fingers, when it comes to service GOUDA was Excellent, he made our dinner experience all the more exciting, thank you and SARA who welcomed us in the beginning was very warm and courteous! Found this hidden gem while we were looking for some place nearby to have dinner last Thursday. The restaurant has a lovely location – it’s facing the DIP Green Community waterfront which is tucked away from the hustle n bustle. It has ample seating outside which adds to the whole experience specially when the weather is so good. This place is a must visit for sheesha lovers or for anyone who would like to enjoy a game of football.
I think the restaurant has been around for a long time now so obviously they are doing some things very right. But to us it was more about the overall experience with the welcoming staff who were always attentive and willing to help. From the time we walked in, Jessa was the perfect host - showing us a comfortable non-smoking area inside and patiently explaining the menu with all the options available.
We ordered the Chicken n mushroom Pizza (which was nice and had loads of melted cheese), Boneless grilled chicken & Taouk Brochette with French fries and Pasta. The food was quick to arrive and very tasty. The breads were fluffy, fresh and hot. Jessa and Weam came to our table several times to enquire about the food and if anything was required. We finished the dinner with some Moroccan Tea (which we later realized was complimentary when the bill arrived :-) )
We couldn't be any happier with our experience and will definitely recommend it for families with young kids. It was our first time here and it was amazing. Hope to come back again.

I go often to Al Hakawati for Lunch. Trust me it has got amazing arabic food. I like the ambience adequate for lunch time, with slow arabic background music. The staff are super friendly and welcoming.

We ordered hakawati special grill, unfortunately i couldnt take any pictures but trust me the kababs and lamb cubes are a treat. The serving size gives you good value for money.

Tried Al Hakawati Grill Platter and Meat Hummus. Both were very delicious and grilled to perfection. Staff was very friendly, food came right on time, we didn’t wait long. Al Hakawati also serves sisha for sisha lovers and has a very nice outside seating facing to the Green Community Lake. I’ll definitely come again to try the other dishes as well..

Very nice view they have. I liked it the most. Nd about food I ordered for a chicken mushroom pizza. It was good bt not great. I told them to make it without mushroom. Which they did perfectly. Nd I tried th Choco milkshake as well. It was nice. Bt I didn’t like their Shisha much. The flavour is nt great. Bt overall a nice experience. Staff was helpful.

Food is nice but the quantity is quite low for price. We tried the shawarma platter, mixed grill, shrimps, grilled kebab sandwich, manakesh, and mixed grill.
Everything was good except for the manakesh. I don't like shrimps but my friends seemed to like it. Overall a good experience.
