(التعليق الأصلي) We have frequented Single Fin for many years and love it. However the service has been declining and yesterday was farcical. Waiter & waitresses standing around chatting to each other. One aimlessly sweeping. Staff coming out with orders and looking around blankly approaching tables to ask if the order was theirs. It took an age to place an order and I had to request the citronella candle 4x. The smoothies were like water and all we could taste was the coconut. I emailed the Manager yesterday, but received no response. Hopefully he was training his staff.

The pulled beef tacos were so delicious. Interesting mix of ingredients and sauces to make the perfect taco. I also loved the grilled lemons it came with. We ordered sweet potato fries on the side which were also yummy. Staff were great. There weren’t many dessert options besides ice cream so we had to go to another shop to have dessert.

Went here the other day with some friends and had such a horrible experience. Firstly, there were so many staff working there but they were chatting to each other and we had to shout to get their attention to even order! The food came and the eggs were overly cooked even though we specifically asked for lightly cooked. It also took more than 40 mins despite the cafe not being that busy at all.. After complaining the waitress doesn't even apologize and brings back the dish a few mins later exactly the same?! Also we ask for a small cappuccino and they bring a large size TWICE. We were just so confused how the service can be so poor. It really is a shame as the atmosphere is great with a laid back surfing vibe. I hope they sort out their staff and train them properly.

Absolutely in love with this laid back surfer cafe! I definitely have a lot to go back for as the ingredients here are so organic and the food is soulful+delicious without using too much oil! Favs: Acai Bowl, Sri Lankan coconut curry with a side of a roti and some coconut shavings, vegan burger with yummy sauces, whole-wheat Waffles with the most delicious organic chocolate spread (the choc spread is really what elevates this item), Berry smoothie, cocoa smoothie, the coffees (can be ordered with almond milk too) Good: Angry Mexican Tacos Others: the Scrambled eggs on toast contains a lot of mustard so if you’re a fan of that do give it a shot! The Pitaya bowl is great for pics but I preferred the Acai one more.

Nice Cafè within the Surf House ~ their dishes are healthy and contained, it’s really nice to stop there after a workout or day at the beach, or even before starting that day! Simple and classy, it offer a good selection of healthy options, teas and cafes. Easy going and good quality for good price!

Went last weekend as so many people recommended. I was extremely disappointed. I had vegan burger which tasted like nothing - zero flavor or seasoning. The “patty” was not a patty, it was like a mush of huge pieces of mushrooms and chickpeas, falling apart. One of the worst vegan burgers that I’ve ever had. Coffee was super sour and unpleasant and the soya milk used is the one that separates. The vegan burrito was a tasteless mush of boiled spinach and chickpeas, not resembling a burrito at all. No ingredients of a burrito in it. And when we said it to them, the answer was “that’s the quality of our kitchen, it’s vegan food you know”. Shocking to be honest. The fact that the food is vegan doesn’t mean that it needs to be treated like grass given to the animals. And to make a comment like this about your own kitchen is too much. The sweet potato fries were good tho.

Is a nice place more for the ambient than the food. We were not lucky because most of the menu was not available, but it has a nice selection of bows, and fusion food. The garden outside is very nice, is in sharing with Surf cafe and you can breathe the surfing air.

This is one of my favorites places in Dubai! The restaurant has such a chilled atmosphere it is the perfect place to hang out with your friends after a swim or even just to do some work. I love how they have such a big variety of food and how they use organic ingredients and fresh products. They really care about their clients and put love and effort in everything they prepare. I am seriously obsessed with the "Sunrise Waffles" they are gluten free and vegan and taste like heaven. The "Sunset Beach" is also a must have the bread is gluten-free and vegan of course and this dish would be great for breakfast or a lighter lunch. You must have their poke bowls or Açai considering that they are one of the first restaurants that made them trendy here in Dubai and of course all of their dishes are super Instagram worthy and they all taste just as good as they look.

Love love love this cute cozy spot tucked behind Surf Cafe. It’s got a great beach vibe and is fantastic for anytime of the day. We stopped by for breakfast and I had the avo toast that came with mashed avocado with mint and yuzu, edamame with salted pink peppercorn on rye sourdough bread. Yum!!!! My friend had the La Punta vegan burrito with Mexican quesa vegan cheese with the most delicious quinoa chipotle and trio beans. Coffee was delicious (flat white with almond milk). A defo must try.

My new favourite vegan food joint in Dubai. Absolutely excellent menu and the coffee is delicious 😋 I try new things every time I go and haven’t once been disappointed ... can’t wait for the weather to cool down so can sit outside ... no way I’d go to surf cafe when Singlefin is in range!

One of the hidden gem I would say, been here many times, as this is near to my home. Today I came across one of their Poke Bowl, and the plating is good, picture worthy, I am posting them here. As for food, Tuna is seared so nicely, cooked only on the outside, there were sliced avos, Japanese noodles, jicama pureed with some nuts, were the main ingredients, all well balanced. Food tasted really fresh, good and simple. This is exactly I was after. As a starter I also had their Acai Bowl, which is my usual hangover medicine for a late night. On good note, their service is excellent and personal. There is good selection of healthy food options. Mostly I go here for Acai and fish dishes with Barramundi, a popular fish from Australia, I am not, but really like the taste of this fish, and the place is so cool, casual and people are really nice.

Love this place, plenty of choice. Also for vegans they have good selection. The waffles were amazing, and the decoration is super cute. The cold porridge was yummy too, full of flavor. Can’t wait to come back. Also they sell coconut ice cream sandwich from cocoyogo and I love that one. And the prices are great. Maybe a bit slow with service, but it’s the only thing. I definitely recommend this place and can’t wait to visit this place again.

First time customer that found out about it through instagram. The actual place is very cool and takes you back to a surf shop in Australia or California. The food is great! Simple ingredients focusing on a quality taste However, for such a cool and chill vibe the staff is the only issue. Highly inattentive and very unfriendly! No smiles or greetings. I mean if I worked in that store I’d be happy!

I visited Singlefin for lunch on a weekday, it was easy tobget to but difficult to find a parking nearby. We ordered a madmax burger as well as a soft shell crab burger which had a really tasty sauce, we also had tacos which were too messy for me. Their coffee was good. Good place overall for a quick meal.

the place looks great - a nice chilled out venue. Ordered the fish tacos and it was not good. tasteless and soggy. The mrs ordered a burger, the waitress bought out the wrong one and she had to argue with her to change it. The burger that came out didnt look great either. this may have just been us, becuase people around us looked happy! either way, probably wont go back. Place - 4/5 Service - 1/5 (servers attitude was bad) Presentation - 4/5 Taste - 1/5 get the food tasting right and a bit of retraining and itll work out well.

Gets Eats

My cold brew was a great cooldown after a long day at the beach. I also got Okinawa vegan tacos, the miso sauce was amazing and the whole dish was tasty yet guilt free. I would give the food a solid 4.5, but unfortunately the staff was not too interested in us when we first arrived and it took quite a long time until they took our order, despite us being the only customers. Would still go again for a breakfast.

A restaurant / surfshop combo by the beach, it has an outdoor courtyard and is dog friendly. You can book surf lessons or rent paddle boards and is catered to that community. The waitress that greeted us was not very happy, she wasn't very welcoming and seemed as though she didn't really want to be there. She didn't know much about the menu; all around unprofessional. The menu has a wide selection of casual eats with some acai bowls, healthy snacks and some juices and smoothies an overall typical Australian style cafe. We ordered the burger (5/10), vegan tacos (6/10) and the grilled cheese sandwich (6/10). None shone through. They do stock wild and the moon cold pressed juices along with a good range of hot sauces, very much appreciated! A place to chill out after the beach and grab a snack. I will go back to try their bowls and book some lessons but otherwise not really a place I would rush back to eat in.

Food is fantastic but I did give it a lower mark because the service could have been a bit more attentive. That being said it was quite busy when we went. They have a lot of fantastic vegan options and their mueslis are AMAZING! After every bite I had to say how great it was and describe the flavours. Yes I am that person :) the vibe is relaxed and easy going so head over after the beach.

In Search Of Brunch

I tried the Madmax burger with fries. The burger is awesome- double patties that are tasty & juicy, soft bun, avocado & berry relish... very very good. Fries can definitely be improved upon- how about a burger joint in Dubai tried homemade fries??
