Looking for a restaurant that serves the best Malabar Biriyani? Gafoorka’s is the place. Their Mutton Biriyani is soo delicious. Unlike other restos, their mutton is well cooked and juicy.
Mutton liver fry and mutton brain are the food i feel very delicious. Must try atleast once. Highly recommended restaurant with many varieties of food
Food ordered : Chicken nadan curry , Chicken perattiyathu , beef roast and porotta
the chicken nadan curry had a very spicy yet malarbar taste , the chicken was well cooked and the gravy was good too
Chicken perattiyathu is basucally a dried up smi curry dish with masala and satued onions with fried chicken
the beef roast is a dry dish and tasted good
all the dishes went well with the porotta and the portta wasnt as oily as how other restaurants serve
overall : Good
Pricing : Cheap

Gafoorkas small restaurant next to Lulu hyper market but can boast for the best Kerala Biryani in town.
Serves Biryani (Chicken/Beef/Mutton/Fish) wrapped in banana leaf. Rice is not long grains of basmati but typical rice which you find in Malabari Restaurants.
Spice level is just right and finger licking. Meat is well cooked and tender, a small packet of red coconut chutney along with boil egg placed inside the Biryani packet. Pickle and papad along with dessert for company.
Suggest you to try either Mutton or Beef Biryani
The first time I visited gafoorkas thattukada was in qusais where I had a disappointing experience and hence was reluctant to visit this branch when a friend said they have great food. Nonetheless I came here and tried out the pothi beef & porota(spicy - 3/5), the chicken roast (3.5/5), beef fry(4/5) and porota(4/5). Overall this branch is much bettet than the qusais and the availability of rabit, camel etc on the menu is great. Unfortunately they weren't available during ramadan but I hope try out the special meat dishes soon too.
Friday is mostly all about traditional cuisine. As the name suggests Gafoorka’s Thattukada is best for take away. We always take away from this place whenever passing by. Their Thalassery biriyani is all time favorite.
The hot biriyani is wrapped in banana leaves which completely gives a different aroma to the food 😋. Accompanied with pickle, pappadam, raita and payasam the quantity is quite huge for a person. The flavorful rice and well cooked soft chicken is simply yummm. It’s one of the best Thalassery biriyani you get in Dubai 🤟🏻. And yes we will be trying out their other dishes. #biriyani #dubaifood #foodie
Just loved the typical thalassery biriyani 😍👌🏼 The food is generally served in authentic kerala style with banana leaves and its definitely worth a try to satisfy your nostalgic temptations.
Small but authentic and good restaurant. I had atti parotta was hot spicy and awesome. I did revisit and will visit again. Sukku kappi was so good..Keep up guys.

Gafoorkas Thattukada
A small space with spicy flavours of Kerala, where we can enjoy every bite we take.
The best and only one I had from there is ‘Beef Biriyani’. Its worth a try, quantity and quality wise.
Ordered pothichoru and irachi Choru. And some chicken naadan curry. I ordered Zomato online. They deliver on time. And food was nice.
Pothichoru was very good.
Was introduced to this place by a friend, had been to lunch couple of times. Mainly for Biryani - chicken and mutton. Recently I introduced Gafoorka's biryani to my family and they all loved it. Last week we were having a party at home, and decided to go with Gafoorka's for catering. We ordered the chicken fry and 3 kinds of biryanis (mutton, chicken and egg). It came with salad, raita, papad and pickles. Everything was delivered fresh and on time.. all the way from Karama to Discovery Gardens... I had constant update from Gafoorka's via WhatsApp etc with regards to the food, delivery etc. All the guests loved the food.. and I am sure they will also be regularly to Gafoorka's...
I would like to say to the people who loves to eat good food, no need to search here and there,i recommend gafoorkas thattukada at Karama,Dubai.Really awesome variety lunch dishes, weekly combos and mouthwatering dinner special and evening snacks.
The delivery was on time and prompt communication for the order, the food was awesome and its worth money
great food ,meat rice is very delicious
I like this restaurant for the traditional Malabari food. The Biriyani's are the best...The only thing I dint like was the ambiance. Simple and small...I would prefer delivery or take away..Parking might be a problem
pothy porotta was good...
Have you ever tried traditional style malabar chicken biriyani??
If no then try it from "GAFOORKA'S THATTUKADA".I tried it from their Al Karama branch which was awesome ,yummy and wrappedup in banana leaf, the flavour of which was spread on the rice and taste remained forever.Arjun Vinayachandran
Gafoorkas thattukada is a hidden gem and we loved the food there .We ordered for lunch beef pothi biryani and their special chicken fry which was really tasty and had the right spice
Yet to discover more from here.. surely visit or atleast order a lunch takeaway and you wnt be dissapointed 😊👍🏻
This place was introduced to me by Jithin Sudhi, who raved about meats like rabbit, mussels, deer prepared in traditional Malabar style served along with steaming puttu, ediappam or dosa combination.
While most Kerala restaurants stick to chicken, beef or fish, it was refreshing to find thattukada (roadside eatery) style food which was reasonable as well as tasty. Most likely that's the reason this is a bachelors haven and small in space, while families tend to order takeaways from this place.
There's a daily Specials board inside the restaurant (the one outside never changes), which has a list of items made fresh that day and it would be wise to only stick to that list.
We had tried the puttu with the delicious mutton curry, dosa and ediappam with gfc special chicken fry, mussels fry, duck curry and all downed with lemon sulaimani (black tea) and a superb kuluki sherbet.
Overall a hidden gem with sparse interiors, good service and tasty exotic food.
OMG, the mutton biryani is the best thing you can have from here. Spicy yet funky, their biryani will surely make your senses tingle. Priced fairly at around AED 15, and make sure to order their biryani with a cold soft drink.
My reviews are exclusively about the food I ordered during my visit
If you are lover of Malabar biriyani, you might have heard about the taste of gafoorkas pothi biriyani, its traditional style to wrap up the biriyani in banana leaf, the flavour of leaf spread to biriyani rice.
I had beef biriyani which is one of high rated item of gafoorka, taste remains forever and never let you chance to order something else in your next visit.
Shop is small and not recommended for family get together! You will find parking nearby, staffs are very friendly.
