Nice cozy and warm place. It's good to have a beer and relax here after a long stressful day at0 work. They also have some game boards to enjoy with group of friends. Staff are friendly and nice and they will allow you to put your choice of music while not busy yet.

The Hungry Monkey is our group's favorite place to hangout and have a chilled out evening in a living room atmosphere with a wide variety of board games to choose from. Our favorite is the 'Carrom' board game, it brought back memories from childhood.
The staff are really friendly and welcoming in particular I would like to mention Jenny.
The manager Krish is all very accommodating and flexible. We come here twice a month on Tuesdays for the CouchSurfing meetups. We asked him if he could get us the Catan board game and guess what, Krish provided for the same on the same day.
There are some great offers with Buy 1 get 1 free and the food menu is also very nice with some good variety at a reasonable price. So far all the food items I have tried are very delicious and filling with decent portion sizes. The food here has an (healthier) edge over the regular 'pub grub' that other bars and pubs provide for.
Give this place a try. Small and cozy, perfect for those who like to avoid large crowds. This venue is also ideal for private parties or a cozy birthday party celebration.

We were here last night for drinks. The bar tender Val, from Phillipines, he did a fantastic job on the drinks. He churned out some really amazing cocktails, enjoyed alot.. Every drink was perfectly made and the presentation was gorgeous. He was so passionate about what he was doing. Really enjoyed. We got some custom made cocktails too. We are definitely going back here. Totally a great place.

This is a cute cosy place in Donatello hotel in al Barsha. The bar and lounge which serves great food as well. We started with finger food I.e. Cheese sticks and nachos and also the grilled fish anf the yummiest sauce with that. Then we had pasta and grilled chicken with mash potatoes sides and veges. The food was good and freshly prepared. The best thing on their menu are their customized smoothie which was Coco punch which was pina colada with coconut and passion fruit. I don't have words to describe that. Would like to rate it 10/5 😋.... then the passion fruit mojito and the three wise monkey juice which was again a mixed mojito. The place is very decent and a bar setup for drinks and cocktails. We don't drink, so cannot say much about that but i was so delighted after having their food and smoothies.

If you're looking for a place to hang out and chill with friends as well as get a little tipsy. Here's where you should be. The ambience is amazing, very cozy and nice, love their music selection and the drinks, we had their famous laguna flower which was a mix of vodka and white wine with a hint of passion fruit as well as their flamingo Colada which was so good that babs wanted one more. It was creamy and very well textured. For food we had mozzarella cheese sticks which were the best we've ever tried, not too chewy and very cripsy. Also had their fish and chips, pretty soggy fries but loved the fish. Had their grilled chicken with boiled vegetables and mashed potatoes with a side of mushroom sauce and it was just brilliant. Loved ever bit of that. We also tried their caramel coffee martini which did not taste alcoholic at all and was coffee with a slight taste of caramel. The best part of this place is that you can play games such as shot roulette or Jenga and have a real good Time. Loved our experience.

Dubai is slowly becoming the one-stop destination for all the happening parties! And one place to add to this list is The Hungry Monkey, it’s more than a pub. It offers some of the finest drinks with remarkable presentations. This place is definitely here to stay with its pocket-friendly pricing and happy hours! Also, the cozy seating arrangement with the comfy recliners and dim lighting will make you feel at home. Hungry Monkey will make you stay for longer as the ambiance is charismatic and the finger licking good food will make you crave for more. The food menu is pretty limited but whatever they have to offer on the palette is quite appealing and flavourful.
For cocktails we tried, Rebellious fish which was a wine based cocktail, this was served in this cute little aquarium, after which we also tried the coco loco, it was pina colada served in a pineapple-shaped glass. Personally, my favorite was the Laguna Cocktail which is named after this exotic flower Laguna and tastes amazing! All the cocktails and mocktails are served in a very beautiful manner and taste delicious.
Now coming to the food, we went with grilled Chicken Breast which was cooked to perfection and the cheesy alfredo pasta was also good. What I absolutely loved was the seafood platter and veg crispy which has the perfect blend of spices and was literally finished within seconds. Also, order for cheese mozzarella sticks as it completely stole the show for me. That dish was quite heavenly for all cheese lovers.
With Dj, good vibes and some really catchy music, it had to be my go-to place for the weekend. Do visit it and let us know what you think about it :)

Best lounge to sit and chill with your group and play some amazing games like chess, Jenga, uno and so on. They have got their very own DJ who plays some amazing music. Talking about the food and drinks we had...
We tried their mozzarella sticks, fish chips and grilled breast chicken, and all were so amazing. Loved the mozzarella sticks.
Drinks: we tried The Wild Swan which has Vodka, passion fruit, lime juice, pineapple juice and white wine.
Second was the Monkey sling consisting of gin, cherry liquor, pineapple juice and lime juice.
Third we tried The exotic rose. This is one of the simple but amazing drink. It has gin, Rose syrup, Rose water, lime juice and sparkling wine.
Fourth cocktail on our table was Flamingo Colada having rum dark, rum white, watermelon, passion fruit and malibu cream.
Final cocktail was Rebellious Monkey which has, Vodka, Liquor, orange juice, lime and sparkling wine.
All cocktails had their own amazing taste along with some best presentation.
In mocktails we tried, Three wise monkey having Mixed berries, lemon, soda and raspberry syrup while second mocktail for the night was Monkey Mule which has fresh ginger, fresh lime juice and passion fruit. Loved both the Mocktails. Amazing service, prices and staff.

When I planned to visit Hungry Monkey, I was not sure how my experience would be because their menu generally revolves around signature alcoholic drinks and the place is basically a pub. Thanks to Team Hungry monkey and their generous staff for hosting an awesome spread for me that includes non-alcoholic mocktails and a wide variety of snacks, appetizers and a lip smacking maincourse.

This place is like a breadth of fresh air with music to suit every soul and cocktails to remember. I visited here last month, then again a couple of days back and just couldn’t get enough. The bartender is a talented guy and he will swing the drinks to your mood.
I was particularly impressed with the Poco Loco which is a mix of Dark rum, Malibu, water melon and passion fruit. It made my day and I sure loved every sip of it.
The Raspberrie Razzmatazz also was a different taste of creme de cacao with raspberries, pineapple and vodka.
Laguna flower another favorite one, is a must try here.
Loved the fact that this place has a buy one get one free all days of the week. This place also has some amazing games which can be enjoyed with a bunch of friends on a lazy afternoon or late evenings.
We were also served, nachos, mozzarella sticks, fries and grilled chicken with mash and some other finger food. The finger food idea was great but I felt the chicken was a bit too dry and the sticks were a little too oily. I would really recommend them to work on the food and they will be the talk of the town with the great drinks and ambience. Definitely my go to place for a couple of drinks and music.

A very small space for a hangout with your close friends. In fact their business tactics is little different from others. They offers, if u buy one drink u ll get another drink free but of course the price of the first drink is little less than the normal price of two drinks. Hope u got me.;)
But again, I want to comment about the little space they have. I loved it and most of the time I used to go alone and it gives me the freedom to think.:)
Aah and they have underground parking as well for customers. If u don’t find any parking space near to the hotel, just ask to the security. If space available he ll open it for u.

A hidden gem in Barsha. So glad I visited this pub. They have a very cozy small place but serving some really fantastic cocktails. They have live DJ music and you see the bartender making some fantastic drinks.
I tried a couple of their signature cocktails like
Laguna Rose - Rum based drink with aperol. You can taste the spice of pineapple and white wine.
Monkey Coco Punch - One of their best sellers, very fruity. Tastes of watermelon and pineapple.
Moscow mule - they've added passion fruit to their version.
Caramel Split Martini - by favorite one from Hungry Monkey! This drink is so delicious, smells divine and you wouldn't believe that it has alcohol. Also it tastes like coffee.
The exotic rose - It's a gin based drink.
For little bites we got nachos, mozzarella cheese sticks and fish & chips. The mozzarella sticks were delicious and loved the dips they gave.

This place is sooo good that you simply can’t get enough of it. I rarely review restaurants but this one needs a mention. Right from their fancy cocktail to their scrumptious food, everything looked so effortlessly good! Above all, I also liked the kind and friendly staff who served us and kept inquiring as to what we wanted, they even don’t mind mixing the drinks which are n’t on their menu just to match with your taste buds.
A special mention to the seafood platter which was cooked to perfection and completely stole the show for me. It was served with this finger licking delicious mashed potatoes, I can have it every day! I loved the cocktails, wine-based Rebellios Fish and rum-based Coco loco being my personal favorites, the presentation was quite sassy. Also, try their mocktails too, they are quite refreshing and a good substitute if you don’t prefer alcohol.
It’s a fantastic place to party with friends with vibrant music, chilled out ambiance with wall hangings which were really fascinating as it had some interesting quotes on it, fancy drinks to keep you mesmerized, and some good food to keep you satisfied!
A casual lounge which serves amazing cocktails at great prices. The place is average sized dim lights. Tried many cocktails and all were mixed perfectly. Sides were onion rings , French fries and nachos. All were great . Prices are affordable and they offer good happy hour deals.

4. Chilli Chicken: Chicken cubes being tender and flavorful. Perfect spice and flavor balance.
Overall, a great place for drinks that serves some amazing food as well. Their prices are pretty good and they have 1+1 always! The staffs are friendly. A good chill out spot.

This is a cute bar located in Donatello hotel where you can kick off your heels and have a great time in! Also, lots of board games yay!
The music is perfect and not super loud so it’s perfect for conversations.
The drinks menu is extensive and the cocktails are really fun! I always get my drinks customised and the bartender does a fabulous job at it.
I’ve unfortunately haven’t had the food here but I’ll sample some dishes very soon ( an add an update here )
So why 5 stars even though I’ve never had any good here? - that’s because the excellent service and the warm cosy vibe of this little bar draws me back to it each week.

The Hungry Monkey Dubai is one of our favorite places in Dubai for both food and drinks. The vide is excellent, it gives you a homey feel. It’s not like the typical bar with loud music and with pandemonium crowd that you can’t chill anymore. It gives you a relaxing feel.
Staff are all amazing.. very attentive and helpful.
The Manager came to our table and assisted us very well.
You should try their food.. all yummy! Specially the Mozzarella Cheese sticks and their Grilled Chicken... Man the mashed potato is a killer! 😋

I had visited Hungry Monkey for a gathering & loved the drinks & food served. I liked the fried chicken & cold meat cuts platter. The cold cuts meat platter had cheese & delicious cold cuts of meat. In drinks I was impressed by the rebellious fish & Rasberrie razzmatazz . By the way the rebellious fish comes in a cute fish bowl.

Was invited to this cute place for a tasting, loved the ambience and interiors of the place. For food we ordered the Alfredo white sauce pasta which was really good with perfect mixture of flavors, we also ordered chicken breast which was slightly dry but still well cooked. We then ordered beef and chicken sliders which was good as well. Among the drinks my favorite was the Rebellious Fish served in a cute aquarium shaped glass. The staffs were really friendly and pleasant the whole time, which was definitely a plus to the whole experience.
Super friendly staff and service. All the drinks we tried were amazing, it was so nice of them to also serve non alcoholic drinks of their specialities. Alfredo pasta was really tasty I would give a 4/5. The rest of the meals seemed to be just okay.

Had the privilege of visiting this place with my friends for drinks and dinner the other day.
This place is definitely not huge and fancy. However, I love their vibes and the way they have wisely decorated and done the place. They have been very mindful of the interiors and have some really fun music that s constantly being played.
The drinks were one of the best I have had in a very long time. The cocktails are such a fun mix of alcohol and juices. Rebellious Fish has to be my favourite drink of all, to be honest. It had a really nice kick to it.
We also got to try some really refreshing non-alcoholic drinks - which I am happy to say that they have amazing alcoholic and none alcoholic drinks as well.
Grilled Chicken Breast [55AED]: The mushroom sauce was amazing! However, the chicken was quite overcooked. It came with a side of some mashed potato which was honestly amazing!!
Alfredo Chicken and Mushroom Pasta [45AED]: Such a huge portion size of this goodness. One of my favourite pasta was made so well at the hungry monkey. We attacked it immediately and wiped the plate clean!
Classic Chicken Burger [35AD]: This burger was extremely filling and quite delicious at the same time. Served with a side of some fries, I quite liked the burger. It was juicy and well seasoned.
Mixed Platter [45AED]: This included some fried shrimps, nuggets, mozzarella sticks and calamari rings. I liked the fried prawns they were so good! The mozzarella sticks tasted super fresh and delicious as well.
All in all, some really decent food, amazing drinks and fun ambience. We got some nachos and dips, to begin with, and that was nice to nibble on while waiting for our food to arrive.
The servers were really sweet and prompt in serving us.
Looking for a place to chill and relax after a long day of work stress? Then this is a place for you that you might want to try. They have a quiet, calm and peacefull vibe with dj playing music, great to chill and relax with your buddies.
They dont just have amazing cocktails and drinks but they do have some really amazing food in the menu as well. We tried the chilli chicken, fish and chips, nachos, grilled chicken breast and cheese sticks. All the dishes were so delicious and perfect. We loved it.

The Place has a very calm ambiance with good music. They have a lot of selection of board games. Drunk Jenga was our game of choice.
The Dj played our requests which was really nice. Even though there were other people in the bar we felt like we were having a private party while the Dj plays our music. He also had a good collection of old school songs.

This place is a hidden gem in Al Barsha. Situated inside Donatello Hotel, this cool little place is soooo amazing if you want to chill out with friends or throw a small party/events! I like their fried chicken and the cold cuts platter. They also offer board games if you feel like challenging friends over drinks. The staffs and manager are very accommodating and friendly. Their food on on the other hand was incredible too, really loved their unique presentations. Their fish and chips and grilled chicken is a must try. Their staff was very friendly too and they have a nice comfortable environment to sit and relax.
It was an awesome experience dining in the hungry monkey. Their cocktails was so good worth the price also the food.

Well one of the major highlights of this place definitely apart from the quirky name is the ambiance and the cocktails here !
With board games and jhenga to entertain teetotalers 😂 and kickass cocktails to give drinkers ( Be it occasionally or daily ) an amazing buzz , the bartender here knows his job well & serves some really amazing concoctions.
Service is another highlight here with the entire THM family taking care of you right from the time you enter this place.
The only disappointment for us here was the food.
When it comes to a bar , finger food is something that we all lookout for and that was something missing here rather not that great.
We'd definitely recommend the fish and chips thp since we couldn't get done with one !
Chicken wings were almost as good as a KFC wing ( which I dislike ) and chicken chilly was average .
To sum it up , head here for somw kickass drinks , amazing ambiance & for some HIGH moments with your happy high bunch :D

Cold cuts and cheese tray, nachos, seafood platter, chicken wings, chilli chicken. Each dish complimented the drinks served. Have tried everything and the taste plus amount of the food we had didn’t just feel we are at a bar but also at a restaurant. Amazing how they gave attention to the presentation of the food though simple but gives an impact.
Cocktails:
Whats a lounge without the cocktails? The drinks were absolutely stunning! Loved how they presented and prepared the each and every drink.
Coco Loco, Raspberri Razzmatazz, Passionate Kiss and Rebellious Fish were the favorites. Loved the balance of alcohol on every drink.
Ambience:
Aside from a place to just chill, play board games and relax, the hungry monkey can turn into a dance floor if u want to. Truly a hidden gem with monkey-full interiors that absolutely matches the theme.
Overall:
5/5 curiosity unlocked!

If u r looking for exraordinary cocktails and great place to unwind look no further. The hungry monkey is 'the place' to be .Its a lounge inside the Donatello hotel near sharaf dg metro barsha.
Its an average sized joint with couple of tables , bar counter , dim ligthting and few screens.They have lot to offer in terms of entertainment . The quotes on the screens are out of the world. They keep u engaged throughout . They have games like uno , jhenga and other board games .
The menu has a wide range of choices. They have amazing deals as well.
Cocktails we tried were below:
Coco loco- as they describe 'a vacation in a glass'
Rum based drink ,very well mixed. Tasted very refreshing but still gave the alcohol effect.To add to the taste ,were the cute pineapple shaped glasses in which it was served. Loved it!
Passionate kiss: As passionate as the name this was a vodka mix .Mixed perfectly giving us the taste of every ingredient that went into its making.
Blueberry lychee martini: This was the best martini ive had till date. Right balance of all the mixes. Must try.
Caramel martini: Gin martini mixed with caramel .Dont go by the name ..this drink isnt sweet. Its a quite strong cocktail with amazing taste. Bet you cant stop at one.
For accompaniments we tried chips,nuts, fries, chilli chicken , nachos , assorted cheese platter, potato wedges. Every dish was well cooked , tasted delicuous and had good portions.
The prices are very economical and they have various buy one get one options on all days.
I definately recommend this place . Its very good for a casual hangout , cocktail nights , gaming nights with friends. Loved all their concepts .We had a great time..Looking forward to my next visit to get more 'cocktalized'.
It is a quirky and catchy name. The drinks are interesting and served in an appealing way.

I was invited by Cash for the blogger meet up. What i can say is this place is definitely amazing ! Its a good place to party with friends. And their location is accessible.
What i love the most is the bartender! He is supercalifragilisticexpialidocious! His mixing skill is dope and he definitely killed us all with his drinks. We have alot of finger foods which i enjoyed aswell.
Watch the FIFA here, there’s comfy atmosphere and attentive staff.
As for food: very tasty chicken nuggets, draught beer is good, salsa and nachos were weird though.

drinks and food are not very expensive. went on a retro rock night with friends. they have board games which was so much fun. played some games after a long time. good fun night it was.

Not your typical pub I'd say. Frankly, its almost like sitting on your couches at home and sipping on a drink. A good thing about the place is definitely the free games that you're allowed to play. Talking of the negatives, definitely the food was a let down. Had to ask them to make the "chilly chicken" extra spicy twice but with no luck. Other than that, they do play some good ol music as well. Not too sure I'd visit again though.

The place is nice and ambient... not a lot of chirping around... so its important to have good music to keep the tempo and thats what the DJ does...mixing commercial and bollywood.... he is good! The staff is also friendly so its easy to relax after a hard day...!

The decor is rustic. It’s a little bit too dark for a fun, excitable girls night… but me and my husband went for lunch and we stayed for much longer than we thought we would.
The cocktails are a very good price and the bar tender made them perfectly.
The owner asked us to move seats for some maintenance work, and they gave us two free drinks to compensate! That made us buy a few more drinks hence staying there much longer!
For food I got pasta Arabiatta and my husband got a burger with fries. They were both okay.
We really did like that quirky edge and chill vibe. We will be back to try more of the delicious cocktails.

Located in Donatello Hotel Hungry Monkey is a very cozy restaurant and bar. The place is super quirky and I am absolutely in love with the interior decor and set up. The service is spot on and the food is amazing. What I tried -

The drinks are very unique. The bartender is a real pro and very well talented. The prices might seem on the higher end but the BOGO makes it totally worth it. Do give it a try ... especially their cocktails and my personal favorite - Moscow mule

This is a kind of bar, cosy and hidden. All is about monkey insides, the decoration and the style.
They have the most flavored mocktails in town. I loved the coconut one so fresh and light 🥥
The Alfredo pasta is a must try, the steak as well was very tasty. The burger was also tasty and very simple, like a home made burger 😍😍 I really recommend the place and they have many offers like *Buy 1 get 1 on drinks* ! Hurry up.
