I ordered a lemon lentil soup and some side sautes spinash and both were excellent. There is consistency in quality over time as I have eaten many times there. Service is very efficient and friendly.
Nice atmosphere and friendly staff. A great place to chill and rest after walking around the mall.
Le Pain Quotidien is located on the ground floor of the Dubai Mall.
The Cafe serves a great variety of Salads, Mains and desserts
I went their for a quick breakfast and ordered Chicken Salad, Iced Cappuccino and Chocolate Eclair
The service was quick and prices are decent
Also, ambiance is great
Lenthil soup was delicious, grilled Tuscan Salmon with Parmesean sauce is too yummy highly recommended, roasted herb potatoes nicely tossed with herbs must try.I didn't like the veg fried rice with egg becoz too much qty of stir fry kale.
Their great Jams and spreads and healthy breakfast with sea view😍😍😍 had waffles with fruits was so yummy
Had a delicious grilled chicken salad for dinner. Loved the place. The Staff is very friendly, really caring and made me feel welcomed. Very cozy ambience, definitely recommend this restaurant for breakfast, lunch and dinner!
Had a cup of hot chocolate after a mild iftar in another outlet
Positives :
The interiors/ambiance of the cafe was serene & classic
The hot chocolate was served with wiped creme & a great caffe art over it...
Negatives :
The proportion of hot chocolate could be increased in ratio with milk
All in all a great experience & highly recommended for a visit with friends
It’s a great place for those who love freshly baked and organic food. Tried the bread butter pudding with maple syrup. It was simply yum. The pudding crust was crispy with fluffy layers and the maple syrup leveled up the taste. Was worth the try 😋👌🏻...!!!! Would definitely wanna try their breakfast. #dubaifood #frenchcuisine #foodie
Perfect coffee...with polite staff and some amazing avocado on toast and some amaaazzingggg soups.
We have been visiting this place for a while now... and everytime we have loved it.
Had an amazing breakfast. Coffee was fresh brew the smell was wonderful and taste better. Egg mushroom was fine with some fresh bread. Fruit tart was not as expected didn’t really have the taste to it. Bought the in house jam they make which is highly recommended just great taste.
Stopped by for a quick bite between morning meetings. Latte was a life savior and the waffle while not the crunchiness I like was sufficient and the fresh fruit just the balance to the powdered sugar. Staff was attentive and could see I was in a rush and made a point of quick service and even speedier in closing out the check.
This place feels like home for me🙈
I mainly go for their yummy coffee at anytime they do sell as well a great dark chocolate organic yummmmmyyyy.
I just don't like the hummus their (too much tahina)
But everything else is worth trying.
Such friendly faces! Eaten here three times now, and every time it’s like coming home!
Great coffee, fantastically light and fresh croissants wafting buttery love at your nose - we tried the pistachio and the almond croissants. The almond is such a clear winner, though you definitely won’t be disappointed if you try the pistachio croissant instead.
But the singular, most important reason to visit Le Pain Quotidien is the Speculoos. It is astonishingly sublime and makes Nutella seem plain and disappointing by comparison. Buy a bottle on your way out!
Awesome food, you should try the omelette preparation at breakfast time, also open sandwiches are perfect for lunch as well as dinner ...all salads are great combination of fresh ingredients and dressing mouthwatering desserts are followed by... I have tasted most of those!!
Love their salads, although one would say that it is quite overpriced. It’s around 60 dhs for a grilled chicken caesars salad. They’re seasonal menus are great and often try them.
Never tried bread pudding before but if it’s always so delusions as in lpq then it’s in top of my favorite desserts. And organic Moroccan tea - just heavenly delusions.
The only thing I don’t get: why they put classic music when the whole place is decorated in a completely different way 🤔
Great place for breakfast. Different kinds of tasty bread. Many options of jams and spreads. Good coffee. The omelet was delicious. Friendly staff
Follow us @dubaifashionnews
LPQ is just delicious! Every time we go we leave the place happy and full! This time it was 4 of us and we ate meatballs, vegetable gratin and 2 salads: one of grilled halloumi and the other of Chicken Cesar salad. All was very yummy and the service was friendly and efficient. Recommended 100%.
Came here for some coffee and desserts late evening. While the latte was pretty much average, I ended up having one of the best brownie. Would highly recommend it.
Nice rustic setting. Fairly good service. Prices to the higher side... careful. You won’t be disappointed coming here for breakfast and/or coffee and a pastry.
Great place for coffee within the busy mall. True to its community cafe style, you drink coffee from a "bowl". Not to miss the almond croissant.
Le pain quotidien has a light international menu set. Serving starts with bread and a selection of spreads, that are quite good(specially the organic belgian chocolate), but mainly that's about it. Meals are average, and service is not up to par. There is also one recent outlet at lamer which has a laid back set up by the sea.
One of my favorite place. Price could be more friendly, their sandwiches are really good. Deserts are not that good. ........................
This place is expensive. Having said that let me also specify that the food quality is great. I love their baguette sandwiches, I ordered for the turkey and ementhel cheese sandwich which was delicious.
Made a pit stop at Le Pain Quotidien at Dubai Mall to refuel. The rustic decor at this boulangerie with warm and welcoming staff gives a friendly neighborhood coffee shop vibe.
For a quick pick me up I decided on a cappuccino and a pistachio tart. The cappuccino was good. The pistachio tart is delish- crunchy on top and soft and moist on the inside.
They also had us try their spreads which they sell at the restaurant. I liked the spicy harira, blondie - a white chocolate spread and the black olive spread.
Cappuccino AED 18
Pistachio Tart AED 22
Turmeric Latte AED 24
I like the mood of this restaurant and its concept of organic food. It was a great choice for a healthy breakfast. They offered us 3 different flavors of jam. The omelette was tasty and the halloumi fresh and light with a nice combination of flavors: basil, mint, cucumber, ...
Healthy days call for Le Pain Quotidian! If you are a person who loves fresh baked bread, pastry and more, then this location will be your best friend! I love to enjoy a side of hummos with bread, a tartine of shrimps/avocado and a side salad of feta and edamame! Power Boosting Food for your everyday routine ✌🏼
Food was very good.
The eggs Benedict’s with veal bacon was tasty specially nice with the side of avo they provide.
The berry blast juice you can order is also tasty with a little zing in there to jump start your morning.
All the baked goods look tasty and are fresh and specially the waiter was on point.
But after such great service, he switched shifts and the matreedee took over and was a poor service, forgetting half of our orders on the pass, not bringing our cutlery. It was a sad swap of service.
But ultimately it’s a good place for a good meal and value for money.
Everything is great. The food is organic and the taste and quality is very good. The staff is very friendly. We ordered and our food arrived very quickly and fresh. The selfmade bread is a must!
Been to this place twice - first time had cream of mushroom soup and some croissants.
Second time had the open sandwiches (shrimp and chicken) and Moroccan tea. Lots and lots of tea especially served in small soup bowls. The open sandwich was quite filling and delicious. I liked the chicken more than the shrimp. It also comes with a small portion of fruit - mango with the shrimp, and melon with the chicken.
I found the menu very limiting and had to go over the small piece of paper several times to decide what to eat. And it's really on the pricier side and didn't want to shell out so much money since we were looking for a simple meal and didn't want to walk anymore (it's Dubai mall).
The serving staff were amazing and extremely friendly and helpful. They also promote that their "wifi is as strong as their coffee". Quite catchy.
This is one of the many restaurants in Dubai mall @Lower ground level. I chose this particularly for having some fresh and light food. I had ordered for a coffee with an omelette.
Ambience: It offers a relaxing casual atmosphere.
Food: The sight of fresh food does tempt your senses and meets the expectations.
It was a satisfying and a delectable meal.
Service: I must mention about the thoughtful service extended to me. Since I suffered from a bout of cough, the waiter bought me a pot of honey and cinnamon tea which was extremely soothing and comforting. He made sure to refill it until I finished my dinner.
Nice place for stopping during a shopping day.
The ambient is very informal and you can sit in a social table. There is a rich menu for sweet or saultry. Weiter with a big smile. You can buy a good and fresh bread!
I had a single espresso and lemon tart
I had the Le Pain Quotidien breakfast which came with a basket of bread, an omlette of my choice which was the mushroom and cheese omlette and tea! We also ordered a variety of jams&butter, and an apple pie. The staff is so hospitable and help you if you're too confused with what to order. The setting and decor of the restaurant is so simple yet beautiful. A must try for sure!
Had the Apple pie and earl grey tea. Spectacular ambience, friendly staff, and good Apple pie. Recommended for couples and families alike. Got to know that all of their dishes and even jams and spreadables are organic. Very good indeed.
The interiors are lovely.
I had the banoffee tart.. it was decently good. The icy lemonade was good too.
The service was brilliant.
I will come again for the food :)
I love the wide variety of spreads, dips and organic honey they have. Wonderful and of high quality. As for the breakfast experience itself i was not so impressed. First of the granola parfait has some coconut in it which isn't written on the menu and im not a fan of coconut so i didnt really enjoy it. Secondly I ordered strawberry lemonade but what came was thick strawberry juice with some lemon. It tasted very weird and nothing like what I expected. It should be a lemonade with a slight strawberry flavor not the other way around. Tomato cheese croissant was good and paris brest was ok too although a bit to hazelnuty flavored to my taste and it certainly does not taste that strongly in the real french recipe. It was still decent and tasty.
This place always has great ambience and a rustic homey feel.. great for breakfasts 🍳
Did you know⁉️the #founder @lepainquotidien was dissatisfied with bread in #brussels so started making his own.. hence the creation of this trendy bakery/ cafe!
So happy we walked in here Friday morning for breakfast. Ordered a latte each and the Eggs Ben with Salmon and Spinach. It comes on brioche bread which gives it such a nice taste! Coffee wasn't bad either. Really nice coffee mugs :) What I really liked was the ambience. Very nicely done up and I could tell a lot of people visited there frequently. Our server was such a friendly and happy lady. Will def go back to try some other stuff on the menu.
Went there for breakfast earlier today, we had scrambled egg with harrisa and Belgian waffle. The egg was really good, but the Belgian waffle was not at all. The service is good and the staff are friendly.
This bakery had unique types of flavors and sauces and their own store of buying those items and I think that is a fantastic idea and its a plus point for the customers who admire those sauces and flavors. The service was outstanding no complaints at all, the food was served on time and quick and I enjoyed the different varieties this place had to offer. The dish had many things on it making it focus on not only one aspect of the dish, but the whole thing as itself. One issue was that it should be in a closed environment because this is a place where people come to relax and read a book and enjoy the unique dishes and amazing coffee. Overall, I strongly recommend this place.
Le Pain Quotidien is a bakery-restaurant franchise founded in Brussels by Belgian chef and restaurateur, Alain Coumont. This branch is located on lower ground floor of Dubai Mall, next to the Star Atrium. Think of it as a more exclusive Paul, which it looks and feels uncannily familiar to. You won’t be disappointed coming here for breakfast and/or coffee and a pastry.
Waste NOT. Want NOT.
Love them.. enough said!!
But Zomato needs 140charaters soooo here I go...... their food, service, quality everything is quiet consistent.. I love that I can eat my spicy eggs anytime, its served all day... oh my other fav is the Chicken & potato gratin, lentil soup but in the bread bowl (can be a little watery sometimes), the latte is fine aswell...
ps. Those r the only things we eat there..
Zomato's happy now!! Byee
Good place...tried their breakfast... food is good.. service is great... however the coffee sucks... tried their waffles the portion size seemed small.. overall a good place will visit again..
Nice place. Good food.. generous portion sizes. The fisherman's dish cannot be finished by just one person.. love the brunch platter. Totally worth the money!
Nice rustic setting. Fairly good service. The bread selection is quite good and fresh. I have to stop at the sublime mushroom Brie omelet.... for the lack of a better word, perfect!
Chef please b consistent with your omelet preparation. One time it's with mushroom sauce another without! What makes this omelet divine is the sauce.... don't be stingy 😉
Prices to the higher side... careful
Incredible breakfast experience thanks to the Dubai Mall amazing team specifically Jeff, Gerard and Nasma. I will definitely come back. It's all worth it!
Came here for quick lunch. I ordered Pain aux Raisin, Mozzarella Tartine, Cappuccino and Turkish Coffee. Everything was delicious and very fresh. I did not like how they serve Turkish Coffee (check the picture), it must be served in Turkish coffee cups with saucer. The place is cozy, but it needs more lights.

Our initial disappointment at seeing a different menu from the one we loved when PQ was upstairs facing the ice rink was quickly forgotten. The price/value dynamic in Dubai is always an unknown factor but happy that PQ hits a good sweet spot. Our breakfast was full of top quality fare, very reasonably priced given such quality and we barely finished our platters. Charcuterie for one and Butcher platter priced in the 70's including interesting bread options, juice and coffee (enough for a refill) is great by Downtown standards. Again, especially with the high quality of the various elements like olive oil, butter, cheeses, cold cuts, breads and even the eggs! They have a Belgian spread on the table, name evades me, made from crushed cinnamon biscuits which are just outrageously delicious! Croissant included in platter was as good as the best I've tried in Dubai. A granola parfait finished off my platter and was excellent. Only one complaint, table was too small for all the food!! Will explore rest of the menu very soon.

Great healthy options that actually taste good. Even their salads are clean, fresh and super tasty with the Atlantic Shrimp Salad being my fav option. Have always liked Le Pain Quotidien's friendly service, intimate setting and good all round menu. Good Job Guys!

Its rare to find a restaurant these days that don't use a microwave to heat up food. I ordered the lentil soup and the chicken honey mustard salad. Both tasted like home cooked food, the ambiance of the restaurant felt like was dinning at home. Loved it.
Two thumbs up, or 4.5 stars. Definitely recommend everyone to try.
Great service and happy staff! My meal came out from the kitchen quickly and tasted great, and there was always someone on hand if I needed anything. A perfectly quiet location in Dubai Mall to work away with good coffee and not feel as if you are in Dubai Mall!
Will definitely be back - thank you!
The best healthy and organic late breakfast as me 😂 in love with spanish omlet with coconut water 😍👍🏼
افضل فطور صحي وخاصه للمتأخرين مثلي 😂 اعشق الاومليت الاسباني من الآخر مع ماء جوز الهند 👍🏼😂
As a Belgian, I have been familiar with Pain Quotidien for years, and going there is always a little reminder of home.
I'm a regular customer, especially the one on SZ road near DIFC. Love their salads and recommend the grilled haloumi one with strawberries. The bread is always good as well. They even have a little bakery inside where you can pick up some bread or tarts for takeaway.
On a less positive note: compared to the quiches in Belgium, the ones they serve in Dubai are somewhat dissapointing. The quiche lorraine is the worst of them, the bacon replacement product they use is really not good.
We were searching yesterday for what to eat at dubai mall and zeroed in at this joint. Thought of trying something exciting with my wife agreeing, we had grilled chicken salad and shrimp mushroom risotto.
Hmm, tasted, excellent!!
It was the first time we visited this place and it came out with flying colours.
Great place great people. I tried it on London so many times. Very nice food as always. In Dubai mall, just a great location inside the mall.
Amar Sunar Jeff was my servant. Quite a nice guy.
A great and safe place for clean food anytime of the day. I've had breakfast, lunch and dinner. Lots of healthy dishes to choose from. Salads, appetisers and mains have always ticked right. I prefer the black coffee to the cappuccino and the bowl serving is a great change. Service has always been great and the new location is much better.
Lovely place that use fresh ingredients in everything! Dessert is my favorite, they have a divine selection that u can choose from. Staff are polite. Must try their eclaires
I had though allot about a great new place to have my breakfast, and Le Pain Quotidien didn't fail me. The food was delicious and they didn't take a long time for serving the food "approximately 7 minutes" - the orange juice and latte were served immediately after we had ordered. Regarding the food it was delicious, the egg Benedict was good well done as I ordered, the bread and croissant were fresh and delicious. Finally the place is great the seating is great the staff is more than friendly, recommended ;)
Eaten at PQ many times in the different branches but mostly at dubai mall. They do a decent breakfast and I recommend the eggs Benedict. I am not a big salad person but their tuna Niçoise salad is really good. It's not just tuna chunks but a preparation. Good coffees as well. Service is inconsistent though.
Organic , fresh and healthy .. Indeed !!
Great and very tasty variety , I love the salads
I recommend the lentil soup , and the grilled chicken sandwich if you are looking for light bites .. Yummy !!
Excellent food at LPQ. My favourites are the salmon with quinoa risotto, grilled chicken salad, halloumi salad and the fishermans pot. Since Dubai Mall is close to my office I try to sneak a lunch there once every 2-3 weeks.
French rustic style bakery and coffee shop. Decoration is warm and appealing. They serve fresh organic dishes, bread and pastries. Their small menu is more then enough to please all tastes, but vegetarians are mainly well satisfied. Prices are affordable for the quality and size of the served dishes. Bravo
I liked the way they serve you a bit of their products taste and the seasoning and additional ingredients, complimentary on the table
I simply cannot get enough of this place. It is my favourite place for breakfast all over dubai. The omlettes and benedict are second to none. The spreads and jams are yummy. Mostly healthy and without unnecessary calorie overload. The ingredients are all fresh and organic. Service is great.
A great spot for some healthy and different eats. They've got a diverse menu filled with a nice combo of hot, cold and breakfast meals. I've had the salmon and scrambled eggs (they even make it with egg white on request) and was delicious. They've got drip coffee too which made the experience better.
One of the best breakfasts I have had in the UAE. Their food is quite simple and tasty. It's overpriced but overall highly recommended. Note: must try their spread - it's amazing.
I love this place. Everything is organic and guilt-free. Get the beetroot, feta and edamame salad and add avocados and the black olive spread to it.
Simply The Best coffee in Dubai to my personal preference. I am addicted to their lattes! The other items on the menu are also great, like healthy quinoa salad, soups and freshly baked breads are delicious. Not to mention yummy desserts like berry tarts and eclairs! Really good place for breakfast! I love going to Le Pain and really glad they have it in Dubai mall, MOE and Marina mall!
If you're a bread/sandwich/cheese person, I think you would love this place. Not so much for me because there's nothing on the menu that I'd drool for. I do like their soup in bread bowls cos it's comforting and homey
My first time to this place and I must say it lives up to its reputation. The breakfast is he best option in my opinion and the hot beverages are decent. Must try the different selections of jams they serve and the breads which can been seen displayed around the counter. All in all a good place to have a nice light French meal. Do try the mushroom cream soup!! Pretty awesome in my opinion!
This is my favourite breakfast place. I'm into healthy food and this place has all organic stuff. My friend and I always come here. Service is excellent. And you can also buy some of their products. I love their olive spread and the hazelnut chocolate spread. Last time I went there I bought their agave syrup to use in coffee instead of sugar and I love it.
My favourite dishes are the waffles and the french toast. Their juices are amazing because they're always fresh.
Always a favorite place to have breakfast with family. Superb menu with excellent, homely dishes. The month watering selection of jam and bread.
Believe it or not I was back at this concept in a different outlet the next day (ref previous review).
And let me tell you it was a complete 180degree opposite different experience ! This outlet is easy to locate right next to the ice rink and near the cinema parking side. It has an outside in the mall alley seating and inside as well, as soon as we stopped in front the staff was welcoming showing us the menu.
We got seated inside and we were in a rush because we wanted to catch a quick bite before a movie, our time was counted lol
The waitress was very very efficient she came to us as soon as we sat, with the menu and gave us suggestions, portion ideas, and asked us what we liked, perfect ! what a change from the MOE outlet ! She took our order and came back with our drinks. As we were looking around, and this time I was going to walk around and check out the pastry display and their products, the waitress came and showed us their products, what a nice surprise they sell organic jams and all organic products. Before we could settle she suggested we sample their products ! She took us to a table with all the pots and small pieces of bread were kept, and we all tried few things their organic hazelnut spread aka nutella was AMAZING, taste way better without all that trans fat and palm oil .. The variety of products was amazing, organic jam (my fav was the strawberry rhubarb!), organic white choco spread, hazelnut and peanut spread, they even have sugar free jams with agave syrup, olive tapenade/spread, garlic spread, artichoke spread, sundried tomato, harissa… waw ! I think prices are around 35dhs for a jar. They can even make gift baskets on demand. Thats really cool. The waitress was really convincing and the products were really natural and tasting amazing. We almost sampled everything and she was describing each product and the top sellers, they even have a speculoos spread..
By that time food had arrived, we ordered a cauliflower and hummus tartine, a roast beef tartine, a smoked salmon and scrambled egg tartine, the lentils soup and a grilled chicken salad. The food was really good healthy not oily at all, salads were fresh, lentils soup had lentils spinach potato and rice with a bit of lemon really comforting. The soup can be served in a bread bowl or regular bowl, depends on the quantity you want. Everything was well served and presented, the only thing I would suggest is serving the tartines in a bigger plate because it is hard to eat from the tiny plate you end up with everything falling on the table. The best dishes were the lentil soup, the cauliflower and hummus tartines very surprising and the smoked salmon and scrambled eggs was a classic but the best !
They still did not put a bread basket with butter, on the table, nor suggest for any pitty, we did not have much time to eat so will try their desserts next time !
The concept is still lacking some authenticity (ref previous review) to me, but this outlet had a very good service much better then the MOE outlet.
Conclusion : really good service, good healthy food, decent prices. They have good organic jams and spreads. will definitely make it my healthy mall spot ! The place is not very romantic lol its buzzing with the ice rink and parking crowd and louuuud ice rink music … oh well!
Have tried the halloumi salad and grilled chicken salad. Both were really good but very simple. I love simple green salad with a little bit of toppings on top but my husband thinks it's too simple. Both of the salad contains the same leaves just different toppings. Coffee was good. Price was very reasonable. Love it
One of my favourite cafes in the city. Love the ambience, service and is very much in love with their praline chocolate cake 😍 and Belgian chocolate brownie.
Tasty, healthy, and delicious. Love all the menus they serve here. I don't mind to have breakfast, lunch and dinner here. Will always come back!
Some healthy dinner for me tonight!
I would give this outlet a bonus of 0.5 as it made me recover from my horrible experience at Eric Kayser. My sister and I ordered scrambled eggs, mushroom and cheese omelet and waffles. I really liked how their waffles had an organic touch to it! I found the brown bread slightly salty but everything else was perfect. The staff are super duper friendly and really make you feel comfortable. Would definitely come here again!
I have always loved the food at this place. Healthy. Well cooked. Generous portions. Wide variety.
You can't go wrong here folks. Anything you order will be exactly how you imagined it. Great salads and mains. Amazing decor.
They are in every mall I believe so you don't have an excuse. Go check it out.
